Tiger OSX 10.4 and Photoshop...what can i do?

I recently purchaced adobe CS2 for my mac and everything works fine ... except for InDesign and Photoshop. I thought mac was a graphic based computer so i don't get why adobe doesn't work on the newest version of it's tiger... ?
Is there anyway that I can download either a patch or crack of somesort that will enable the program to work? OR do i have to downgrade my OS to a 10.4? AND if i do need to downgrade... where can i find a copy.... will mac provide me with one since it's their mistake? =__=

I think the message has been that CS2 does in fact install and run properly on Intel based Macs (like the MacBook).
You say it just doesn't install Photoshop and inDesign-maybe a crazy question, but have you checked the options on the installer to ensure that they are selected? You never mentioned anything about error messages. Does it try to install them but fail, or does it just not try at all? Maybe you try installing it while connected to the internet.
If you're still having problems, you might want to check out the Adobe forums for extra assistance, and further confirmation that it is possible.

Also, what does "the thing of it is, it works on 10.4.8 and it doesn't work on the newer version 10.4..." mean?

You need to update to AE version 11.0.4 (the latest version of CS6).
The need to update has been made widely public. Not only has it been posted on Adobe's site, but there are dozens of threads on it in this forum alone (not to mention in /r/AfterEffects on Reddit and every other AE forum I've been on). A tiny bit of Googling would have solved your frustration in an instant.

I got the macbook from a friend a few years ago and it already had OSX Lion installed. Whenever it boots from the Snow Leopard disc it says it cannot install from disc. Is there anythingI can do or should I take it to an Apple store to get them to boot OSX Lion for me?

Insert your Snow Leopard disc and restart, press and hold the C key as soon as you hearthe startup chime, hold C until you see the Apple Logo. When your computer starts up you'll be at the first install screen, choose your language and click the arrow to go to the next screen. This screen has a menu bar, from the Utilities menu select Disk Utility, select your hard drive, this is the one with the manufacturers name or numbers, click the partition tab and then delete any existing partitions by selecting them and clicking the minus. In the drop down box select one partition and click apply. Name your hard drive and click erase. When it's done quit DU and go back to the installer, install Snow Leopard. When the installer is done and the computer is back up and running run Software Update to get to 10.6.8

They can share an Apple ID, but each device must use a different email address when setting up FaceTime. Create a gmail email (or hotmail, or ...) address and use that on one of the devices when you setup FaceTime.
You don't actually have to use the 'new' email address, it is probably just used as an index to reference the correct device when initiating a call via the FaceTime server.

2) What can I do if my current computer suddenly implodes and I have not yet 'copied/'saved'/otherwise protected my account, as is? -- I have already had my computer crash once and had one of your people help me restore all of the paid for songs (none of the uploaded from my own collection of CD songs, of course, so I had to spend a long time rebuilding that) -- and I believe I was told you could only help me recover that material one or two times altogether, no?
WithOUT purchasing a Mach or iCloud (I actually think I have one of the later, but rarely have checked it) account, is there anything I can do to responsibly protect my account?

These are two possible approaches that will normally work to move an existing library to a new computer.
Method 1
Backup the library with this User Tip.
Deauthorize the old computer if you no longer want to access protected content on it.
Restore the backup to your new computer using the same tool used to back it up.
Keep your backup up-to-date in future.
Method 2
Connect the two computers to the same network. Share your <User's Music> folder from the old computer and copy the entire iTunes library folder into the <User's Music> folder on the new one. Again, deauthorize the old computer if no longer required.
Both methods should give the new computer a working clone of the library that was on the old one. As far as iTunes is concerned this is still the "home" library for your devices so you shouldn't have any issues with iTunes wanting to erase and reload.
I'd recommend method 1 since it establishes an ongoing backup for your library.
Note if you have iOS devices and haven't moved your contacts and calendar items across then you should create one dummy entry of each in your new profile and iTunes should merge the existing data from the device.
If your media folder has been split out from the main iTunes folder you may need to do some preparatory work to make it easier to move. See make a split library portable.
Should you be in the unfortunate position where you are no longer able to access your original library or a backup then then see Recover your iTunes library from your iPod or iOS device for advice on how to set up your devices with a new library with the maximum preservation of data.

First, make sure caps lock is not on.
Another reason why your password might not be recognized is that the keyboard layout (input source) has been switched without your realizing it. At the login screen, you can cycle through the available layouts by pressing the key combination   command-space or command-option-space. See this support article.
If the user account is associated with an Apple ID, and you know the Apple ID password, then maybe the Apple ID can be used to reset your user account password.
Otherwise*, start up in Recovery mode. When the OS X Utilities window appears, select

from the menu bar at the top of the screen—not from any of the items in the OS X Utilities window.
In the window that opens, type this:

I have OS 10.9. what is the oldest version of indesign and photoshop I can run on that OS?

Help. I do not want to buy a new version of either. I don't need that. I just need occasional use of indesign and more often photoshop.

What do you have now? I believe the oldest versions that are officially supported are CS6, but you might get CS5 to run, and maaaaybe CS4, but it's iffy, and there's no tech support available to help with problems other than what we might know here.
