Tigerv MaIl box positioning -want to change from left to right

Hi,
I have just installed Tiger and have come up with problem trying to position the mail boxes wibdow on the right of the main mail window
In Panther I could do this. I want to position my mail boxes window to the right side of the main IN box window.
Please tell me how to do this as I can't figure it out

This was a change with Tiger Mail. The mailboxes drawer is fixed to the left side (you can widen or narrow it) but you cannot position it on the right side of the message list window.
Some have assumed it was to match the Finder sidebar, the iPhoto Library and albums and iTunes music and playlist all being on the left.

Silly question, maybe. I want to change from Verizon DSL to cable, but cable company doesn't supply router. can I use my Airport Extreme as wireless router?

We currently have the following wireless home-network configuration, powered by Verizon DSL.
2 macbook pro’s
1 emachine
HP PhotoSmart 6122 all-in-one printer
Apple TV
Apple Airport Extreme Base Port A 1408
Westell 7500 router
Thinking I’d get wider wireless coverage throughout my 2 bedroom home, I purchased the Airport Extreme. It is connected to the router via its sole usb port. The result was only a tiny increase in speed, and no increase in coverage, so I don’t know why I have it.
We now want to change from DSL to cable, thus ditching Verizon. Our new cable provider supplies the cable box, but no router for wireless networking.
Here are my questions.
Can I use the Airport Extreme (AE) as a wireless router?
If so, how should I hook it up? Should the usb cable go from the AE to the cable box, and all the other devices connect wirelessly?
If not, how should I be using the AE to some advantage? What can I get out of the investment?

What I wrote has nothing to do with what the cable company charges for their installation. And, usually they will help with the router setup even if you supply your own router. I don't know what they will charge for the modem.
Note that you need to get just a modem. You don't want a modem/router combination. That will make using an AEBS effectively nearly impossible. You will need to ask specifically for just a standalone modem, and that you will supply your own router.

Alternatively, you could use software like appZapper or CleanApp. But I normally just drag the app to the trash.

You cannot.
You cannot use another countrys itunes store.
You must be physically locates inside the borders of a country to use that countrys itunes store and a credit card issued in that country with a valid billing address in that country.
The owners of the distribution rights of movies/music/etc differ by country. These distributors decide who can sell their content in that country.
Buy from another source if your countrys itunes store does not carry somehting that you want.

Technically the Music, apps are not hers but yours as your Apple ID was used to get them. And as a consequnce they are tied to your Apple ID.
If she creates her own Apple ID she will need to get her own music, apps, etc...

[SOLVED] - want to change from vanilla kde to kdemod

Want to change from vanilla kde to kdemod - feeling chicken here 'cos I'm on a production machine.
So what is the best way?
If I do a "pacman -R kde" I get a bunch of dependencies. Suppose I get rid of those as well (haven't dared trying), do I just enable [kdemod-core] for x86_64 and reinstall kde and dependencies from above?

Might want to add the extragear repo in addition to core. Then you can just install kdemod or kdemod-minimal or whatever floats your boat. I imagine being an Archer you'd want to work up from minimal. Only suggestion is to back up ~/.kde4 and ~/.local and maybe ~/.kde if it exists. It really isn't a big deal switching over. I've switched back and forth up n down quite a lot, and problems nearly always are a result of one of the aforementioned folders, and can be resolved by starting fresh (ie killing those folders or using a different account to test) and moving stuff over from backups. Dependency issues are usually not very difficult to sort out. Just remove all kde-related things that are directly tied in to kde (ie amarok and vlc you can leave), and install.
Other than that, the chakra/kdemod site gives good instructions on being sure you don't have anything screwed up, but I'm sure a long-time user knows the RTFM by now

How to change the direction of movement in atable from left to right?

As the title says i want to change the movement direction in the cells of a table in pages when i click tab key from "left to right" to "right to left", is that possible?

It seams that we aren't using the same application.
In mine, if the cell C3 is selected, pressing shift + tab select the cell B3 which is what you wanted in your original post (or I understood it wrongly).
If what you want is the ability to insert a new row above the current one or at top of a table, you can't do that this way.
Same response if you want to insert a new column to the left of the table.
To do that, the soluce is to select the top row or the leftmost column.
There is a funny bug in the menu items.
If your table has a header row, entering the menu Format > Table, we get four items:
Insert new header above
Insert new header below
if we are in the header row
or
Insert new row above
Insert new row below
Insert a column before
Insert a column after
These four menus items have shortcuts :
option up arrow
option down arrow
option left arrow
option right arrow
If the table has no header, the menu items are :
Insert new row above
Insert new row below
Insert a column before
Insert a column after
None of them display a shortcut *_but the shortcuts are active_*

Somehow I changed a setting in my Ibooks to change page by scrolling from top to bottom of the screen. I want to have page turn by moving from left to right. I am using iPhone with operating 7. whatever is out at this day and time. Can anyone help? Thanks

tap the AA symbol at the top, the one for resizing text.
It will show a slider for brightness, font size, page colour, and on the bottom "scrolling view" off and on.
When the scrolling view is "on" (green) the book is read with a vertical slider and scrolling up and down.
When the scrolling view is "off" (no colour) the pages are changed by swiping left to right or right to left.

Import the PAR file into NWDS, the PAR you have downloaded is correct one, Now in the JSP folder, find ToolAreaView.JSP file, now find following lines of code in that JSP file

Changing track from left to right speaker

I recently acquired a Macbook with Garageband '09. I made a recording with two mics, one recording a guitar, and one recording a drum kit (They were both recorded at once on the same track). Since I had set the input to stereo, the guitar (mic 1) played through the left speaker, and the drums (mic 2) played through the right speaker. I would like to have mono sound, but I still want to use two mics to provide better clarity and prevent spill.
Is there a way to keep the track I have (guitar=left/drums=right) and perhaps duplicate it and switch channels from left to right creating a mono sound? Basically one track would be guitar=left/drums=right and the other would be guitar=right/drums=left. Or is there perhaps a way to switch a stereo recording to mono once recorded?

I would like to make a track mono, but do not see where in the "pane" I can do that. The only option I have found is to change the input from stereo to mono. Since I have audio that is already recorded, and is unfortunately only on the left track, is there a way to get the mix down to be mono so that I'm getting the audio in both speakers?
