Time Alignment of Regions... any macros???
I've been searching for a work-around on this for a while.... any help will be much appreciated.
My studio's got a 16 track 1" deck and in the past when we were running Protools LE we were able to track through the deck. By hitting the REC head with signal.... then pulling that signal from the REPRO head and right into the computer.
When we'd track drums to a click or overdub bass through the deck we'd have to push the tape tracks up something like 1567 samples or so... in PT you can set the nudge amount to whatever you want so getting the regions to lock up was a pretty easy thing to do.
The crux of the matter is that visually lining the regions up doesn't work for things unless they've got super strong transients.... And since it's easy to measure the actual time difference... The tape deck becomes MUCH more usable in the DAW world as an effect IF you can account for that time shift.
So far.. I've been unable to figure out how to do this in Logic.... There's got to be some way around this??? I know it's not the nudge.
Name your price for the solution, at this point... i'm willing to pay.

Um... maybe the 'Latency Fixer' plugin from Expert Sleepers' would let you report a (false) latency of x number of samples on each tape track, and Logic would adjust accordingly to compensate?
Just a theory, since I'm not sure if Logic would move the tracks ahead in time, or just delay playback on everything else to sync up...
My other suggestion would be to try building a new Logic template with a strong transient at the beginning of a specific track, so that lining up visually later would be much simpler. For example, my template always has a "2 pop" spike. It's kinda clunky I suppose, but it should at least make visual line up easier. Group the tracks so they all move when you move any one of'em.
Option 3? Hmm. I'm still thinkin bout that.

actually i am using apex 4.1 version, in that i created the tabular form as column region (display point is same and column=2)
but still getting the problem of misplacing the items.
if there is any way to align items in column regions??

I was away for 9 days came home to my computer not responding. I am using the free version of AVG security and read the instructions in the Mozilla help Re: Firewalls, changing the AVG settings removing Mozilla and then adding it back in. However I checked for updates on AVG none were available and the instructions Mozilla has are for a version of AVG that I do not have. I am using 8.5 and I think the instructions were for 9.0. At any rate I am stuck, and desperately need to get this figured out! I hope that this is enough information for someone to point me in the right direction.? Your help is be greatly appreciated. See how many networks are listed in Sys Prefs: Network: Advance. Drag the preferred to the top. Delete any you don't really need.

Don't know what you mean by "some time ago", but unless you activated Find My Phone and the phone is still on, the answer is no. (Even if you ask 3 times).

Scout: Too much time calculating dirty regions

Frist of all, sorry for my English.
I have a problem with my AIR App, I'm developing for Android and iOS. In iOS works perfectly but on Android the performance is poor.
I checked with Scout and this is what i see:
I don't understand why it spends so much time calculating dirty regions but I didn't change anything on the DisplayList.
Edit: AS you can see in the screen the frames are 13 but in the next frames is over 200 frames and that repeats.
Can someone tell me how to interpret this results?

It is called the Marquee Tool that lets you drag a selection, and when hitting the delete key, that section of the Region(s) will be deleted, and the remaining part of the Region on the right will be moved to the left to close the gap (if you you have set the Drag Mode to "Shuffle L").

With everyone and their iDogs trying to update at the same time, things are gonna be a bit bumpy off the bat trying to update and/or activate.
All anyone can really recommend is to keep trying or wait until a bit later, after the hubub has died down. -
How can I get my time machine to allow me to recover files again?
After upgrading MBA to OS X, the time machine still backs up the files; but, I'm not able to navigate within the time machine or select any folders or files for restore.
I've searched and can not find a solution to the problem that's being encountered.Yeap that all makes sense now.
Do you only have the current backup showing in the TM display?? Won't it fill in the rest?
Over wireless are you waiting for the indexing to finish.. ??
Previous backup may not show for a couple of hours.
Long short of it.. Mavericks version of TM is a pain.
Sometimes it is easier to completely ignore the TM backup and do the restore manually.

Can't access old files on time capsule -
I dropped my macbook pro 17" from about 4 feet from my shelf onto a hard floor and it dinged the corner pretty bad, but it still works OK. a year back also it fell of from 1ft height but that time there was not any dent. my worry is will it give any prop in future or its just a cosmetic issue but in performance it wont give any problems. it happened an hr back & i am very upset for this misshandling.
I dropped a MBP and dented that same corner, though it wasn't one of the unibody MBPs:
It worked flawlessly for a month, then suddenly died. I put it to sleep one day, then 5 minutes later remembered something I had forgotten to do, opened it back up... and nothing. It never worked again. Repairs would have been well over $1,000, and would not have been covered by the warranty or by AppleCare (if I had bought it). I opted to just buy a new Mac instead.
Now, just because that happened to me does not mean that's what will happen to you. However, you do need to prepare yourself for that possibility. -
I'm getting an " application" cannot be downloaded at this time message. With any app I try to download/update. Why is this happening and what can I do about it ?
I am fighting the same error. I gifted an album to mydaughter and she got that when she tried to cash it in. iTunes support was quick to respond saying the would refund in 5 to 7 days. That was 13 days ago and they will not respond now. Try to contact support to see if they can help. Also be sure you do not have restrictions enabled in settings. If your parental controls are set to block certian content ratings this will give you an error as well.
You could also try to purchacs through the iTunes program on Mac or PC. Check your restrictions there too. If your device is company owned your employers may have restrictions enabled preventing certian apps from being installed. Hope that helps.
