Time Characteristics not become active gives error in BW 7.4

Hi Experts
We have imported IO's in BW 7.4. Some info Objects are active but some are not getting active specially Time Char.
It gives error while activating. I am attaching the error image. I am looking forward experts input how these Time Info objects can activate.

There may be inconsistencies with table entries for table 'RSDCHATHJ'. Please check them.

Is the scmserviceconfiguration java process running? (See JAVA -SHOW).
Do you have a replica on the server?
Have you tried clicking on the synchronize buttons in either iManager
or NRM?

Setup Project installs but does not become active

Hello all,
My task for my work was to transfer over a macro that I made that would process and delete incoming emails to a specified mailbox in Outlook into a Visual Studio project. This is required because we want to be able to give out the code to clients, which
is quite cumbersome with a macro. I want to be able to use Visual Studio's Setup and Deployment to create an installer for the Add In.
I have spent hours trying to figure out how to get the installer to work. From everything that I have read and all of the youtube videos that I've watched, I just cannot for the life of me figure out what I'm missing.
My problem is that when I build the setup project and move it over to a machine I want to install it on, it installs just fine. I even check the windows event logs and it displays no errors, stating the installation was successful. The files are even placed
where I wanted them to be. But when I open Outlook expecting the add in to run, it's not there. Not under active, disabled, or otherwise. When I debug the project, it runs just fine and Outlook has the add in as active. Thus, I even tried moving over the literal
vsto file with the installer (because that was the file location shown in Outlook during debug), and still the installer runs successfully but it doesn't affect Outlook. When I double click the vsto file though, poof, Outlook has the add in. But that doesn't
appear to be the setup doing anything, I'm just installing the add in from the VSTO directly, I believe.
Apparently I cannot add images to the body text, which might have made this easier.
I'm creating my project (Outlook add in) and copying my macro code over. When I debug the project, it's shown as an active add in and works fine. I then add the setup and deployment project (Visual Studio Installer -> Setup Project). From the videos that
I've watched, I haven't noticed anyone do anything more than add the Primary Output and then alter the Deployment Project Properties (company name and etc.).
As I said previously, running the debug does just fine at causing the add in to be active and seen by Outlook, but no such similar thing appears when I run the setup installer on the other machine. Nor when I run the installer on the same machine as I was
running the debug.
I'm at a complete loss as to what I need to do to fix this and would appreciate any help you can give me.

Which VS version did you use? So you use the InstallShield LE, am I right?

As you said that the project has no any issue, so the real issue is related to "how to create the setup project with InstallShield LE for outlook add-in".

Firefox does not become active from the Dock when I click on a email link

In OS 10.5, I can temporarily put the Firefox window off to the Dock by clicking on the yellow button in the upper left of the Firefox menu bar. In earlier versions of Firefox, the window would become active again if I clicked on a web link in an email address or document. Firefox 3.6.3 will open a tab for the web link, but stays inactive on the Dock. Why the change?

Just changed the firefox default setting in mailto in applications to my regular email. saves tons of time and much swearing.

Time machine not backing up, no error message,plenty space in external disk

Hello,
Every time the Time Machine starts a back up, it stops 2 seconds later, it records that the back up has been made, but no file gets updated. It gives no error messages. For it, the back up has been made, when in reality it has not. There is plenty of space in the external disk (twice as much as the space used in the Mac HD). Do you know what may be going on?

Delete invoice for Service PO's where SES is not created - MR8M gives error

I have a strange situation at my client. They have created a service PO with S-based IV checked on the Invoice tab of PO. There is no Goods Receipt checked in the Delivey tab of the PO. They did not create any Service Entry Sheet (SES) for the service line items in the PO.
At the time of invoicing using MIRO, the user invoiced against the PO reference as there was no SES reference (because SES was not created). User now wants to reverse this MIRO because he made some mistake.
I tried reversing the invoice document using MR8M but it's giving error - "Invoice document 5105613514 cannot be processed further / Message no. M8422". In the possible causes, the error message explains that the corresponding service entry sheet may have been deleted. I strongly suspect this is the cause of getting this error - because since the SES was not created in the first place and as this is a service PO with S-based IV checked, SAP is looking for SES.
Now my dilemma is how to cancel this incorrectly entered invoice using MIRO? What are the options that I have - a credit memo? a subsequent Credit? or some program to be executed? Please share your ideas/ experience in solving this issue.

Hi,
Add one more service line in the Service tab of the PO and order it (restrict it to Print if in Production).
Now goto MR8M and cancel the old Invoice. (Folow instruction to delete line items under vendor through F-44)
Come back and deltete the newely added service line from the PO.
Flag the GR and GRbased IV indicators (as the Sr Based IV is greyed out) and order the PO (restrict it to Print if in Production).
The next time you will have to first do the Service Entry before doing the Invoice.

TS2039 After saving an Excel document on my Mac ( I do have Office Mac), it will not reopen and gives error code -43. It will also say that there is no such file, although the file is in the document box. Has happened twice now with big files.

I work on Excel files through my Office Mac program. On two occasions, a large Excel file, (about 1.5 MB) will not save and is not recoverable. It gives me an error code -43.
I work on many such files without problem, but this has now happened on two occasions with important files.

If it only happens with very large spread sheets, and only happens randomly, then one possibility is a buffer overflow, i.e., some piece of data is so large as to clobber the data that follows it. If that is the case then the problem would only manifest itself if (a) you happen to access that data, (b) write beyond its allocation, and (c) what's just beyond that gets clobbered is something involved with the file's pathname. Then when the pathname is needed it can't be found resulting in the -43.
In other words, more "quality" programming from Microsoft...not.
Just a theory.

I have the same problem.
Ive tried appserver update 2 and the problem is still there.
We need to use wrapper types not primitives because the columns can contain nulls.
Does anyone know how to fix this?

II have downloaded several Apps that state they work with iTouch but they will not install and give error message that I need updated software, while all my updates available are installed on both iTouch and my computer iTunesWhy will Mindtools app not

My iPod Touch will not function with certain updated apps ie MindTools, YP.com, Mint, Ymessenger etc and I get the error message that I need to install updated software to load these apps to my iPod Touch; however, I have double checked and all the software updates have been loaded in obht the iPod touch and my computer. There are no updates availabe; yet the error message on App is a software update is required for App. "was not installed because it requires a newer version of iPod software."
The iPod Touch is using 3.1.3 software and it tells me that is the current and updated software version.

You are correct in that your 1G iPod Touch has all the latest software updates. It can only be updated to version 3.1.
However that Apps you are trying to download and install likely require iOS version 4.0 or later, which is not compatible with your iPod Touch. So either you'll need to buy a newer iPod Touch or find other Apps that are suitable replacements if possible.

Selected row not becoming active.

In a page fragment
1. I add an af:panelCollection, drag n drop a table from the Data Controls into the collection, enabling filtering, sorting and row selection.
2. I create an af:popup, add an af:panelWindow, drag n drop the same table from the Data Controls into the panelWindow creating an ADF Form with a submit button.
3. I add a toolbar button to the collection in 1, then add an af:showPopupBehavior to the button.
When I select a row, the selected row in the table is highlighted properly.
When I click the button, the popup displays but it is always displaying the first record in the table.
I've tried
making the table both editable and read only.
setting to triggertype in the popup behavior to different settings.
adding partial triggers in multiple places.
setting the button partialsubmit to false.
several other random settings.
blowing away the whole thing and starting over a few times.
I'm pretty sure the problem is related to the row selection in the first table not setting the current row in the data control, but I'm a newb and not sure how to fix it.
Any thoughts?

Figured it out.
There are couple required selectone lists on the popup that were created wrong so the actual value wasnt in the list and I'm guessing since it is in the same screen it wouldnt let the navigation to other records happen.
Fixed those and it all works fine.

Error Message: Object could not be activated

Once I try to activate a DSO the system shows the following message:
Object ZZABCDE could not be activated;
The errors are:
-The creation of the export data source failed (RSBM035),
whilst generating the export Infosource, the metadata for a datasourcemust be generated. An error arose when doing this.
-ERROR CALL_FUNCTION_SECSTORE_ERROR occur ed. P1=PB9CLNT100 P2=PB9CLNT100 P3=/RFC/
The system I am using was copied from an other system, could such errors be due to missing elements in the configuration of the system?

I assume that this is due to the system Copy.
Since there is always an export DataSOurce generetad to ODS or DSO, the myself-System needs to be setup properly.
Check if the Sourcesystem connection to the MYSELF-System (your BI) is maintained properly after system-copy.
If not, contact your admin.
If your'e not working with sap-all/sap-new, you should also check authorisation.

I am trying to post GR from BAPI 'BAPI_GOODSMVT_CREATE' but some time it post successful and some time it does not post..gives error 'Document does not contain any items'....i have search all option but did not get any solution why this error is coming....kindly help me if you have any information regarding that.
The strange thing is i have alrady posted GR with some test data and later on again am trying to post GR with same test data but it is giving error as above.
For your information...i am using enhancement spot in standard program for GR posting...could it give any problem.

Solved by my self...problem was i were using enhancement spot in standard program because of this it was creating problem have search new enhancement spot and put my code out there now it is working fine.

App Store Not Working - Purchases Failing - Error: PMT50016

Hi Palm,
I am in the US and for the last week or more whenever I go to try to make a purchase from the App Catalog/Store. I get the error message 'Purchase Failed'. When I tap on the exclamation mark/message I get the following:
'Couldn't Purchase' - The Item could not be purchased. Try again later. PMT50016.
I first thought this was an issue with the particular App I was attempting to buy, but I have tried others and I still receive the same message.
I've checked my CC on file and nothing appears to be wrong with that. I've also rebooted the phone multiple times, so not sure why this error would start occurring. In the past, I'd been able to make purchases successfully.
Anyone else having this same problem?....If so, is there a fix? Is Palm aware of this issue? - Please help.
