Hi,
Well, are you trying to do a batch input on infotype 0000? If yes you need to check that the proposed values respects the time constraint, meaning no gap, no overlaps and no inversions. Also fields SUBTY, OBJPS, SPRPS and SEQNR must remain initial when processing IT0000...

Hi Experts,
When I run my Application in Portal, i am getting the following error.
Type conflict when calling a function module., error key: RFC_ERROR_SYSTEM_FAILURE
When I execute the BAPI, it is getting executed.
My Bapi Strucute:
Import Parameters
IM_MAT_Search --> ZPTIP_MAT --> Import Parameters
Tables
IT_INFO_REC --> ZMM_GET_ITEM --> Output Parameters
When I import the model, i am getting the structure like this
BAPI_Name > ZMM_BAPI_Input> IM_MAT_Search(respective Parameters) , Output (respective Tables and their parameters)
> ZMM_Input1> Parameters
This is the way, how i am executing in webdynpro java
Zmm_Bapi_Ptip_Search_Input eleInput = new Zmm_Bapi_Ptip_Search_Input();
wdContext.nodeZmm_Bapi_Ptip_Search_Input().bind(eleInput);
Zptip_Asset eleInputAsset = new Zptip_Asset();
eleInputAsset.setSearch("ACRS");
wdContext.nodeZptip_Asset().bind(eleInputAsset);
eleInput.setIm_Ast_Search(eleInputAsset);
wdContext.nodeZmm_Bapi_Ptip_Search_Input().bind(eleInput);
wdContext.nodeZmm_Bapi_Ptip_Search_Input().currentZmm_Bapi_Ptip_Search_InputElement().modelObject().execute();
wdContext.nodeOutput().invalidate();
Please let me know, how to do the same.
Thanks in advance.
Regards,
PalaniHi David,
I checked for the Parameter of setIm_Ast_Search, it is of Zptip_Asset.
Hi Saleem,
When I changed the same, i am getting the Type conflict error,
Type conflict when calling a function module., error key: RFC_ERROR_SYSTEM_FAILURE
Please let me know,what can be done in this regard to solve the problem.
My BAPI Structure when imported as model

GetDefinitionByName() error when calling class between modules
i have a main application which loads two modules - lets call them x and y.
module x has a class called dataObject. i have made a dummy instance of this class in module x.
in module y, i have the following code:
flash.utils.getDefinitionByName( 'dataObject' )
the main app loads both module x and y successfully in seperate child domains BEFORE calling the line above.
i am getting a variable 'dataObject' is not defined error.
i know the reason why this error occurs under normal single-app circumstances. however, i could not find any posts relating to this error when dealing with multiple modules loaded dynamically. i have tried loading both modules in the same domain as the main app but still no luck.
any help appreciated!
thanks!i looked it at a cursory level.
basically, the class that you want the definition for needs to either be in the module app domain loading it or its parent app domain? in my case it is in a seperate child app domain of the parent, which is why it can't be found.. am i right?
however, this forces me to put the module containing the class in the same app domain as the main app. is there a way i can get the definition of the class regardless of what app domain it is in (assuming it is in the same security domain, however) ?
thanks! -

Looks like the connection was dropped/terminated. What does your function do? You haven't really given any information whatsoever that would enable someone to help you (such as version, perhaps a code snippet, etc)

XPath 2.0 specifications define a fn:format-date function but Oracle has not included yet in its XQuery implementation.
Easiest way to go is A_Non's solution, but if you need to format at multiple places in the query, you can declare a local XQuery function.
For example, to format to "DD/MM/YYYY" from the canonical xs:date format "YYYY-MM-DD" :
{code}
declare function local:format-date($d as xs:date) as xs:string
let $s := xs:string($d)
return concat(
substring($s, 10, 2), "/",
substring($s, 7, 2), "/",
substring($s, 2, 4)
{code}
and an example of use :
{code}
SQL> CREATE TABLE test_xqdate AS SELECT sysdate dt FROM dual;
Table created
SQL> SELECT *
2 FROM XMLTable(
3 'declare function local:format-date($d as xs:date) as xs:string
4 {
5 let $s := xs:string($d)
6 return concat(
7 substring($s, 10, 2), "/",
8 substring($s, 7, 2), "/",
9 substring($s, 2, 4)
10 )
11 }; (: :)
12 for $i in ora:view("TEST_XQDATE")/ROW/DT
13 return element e {
14 attribute xs_date_format { $i/text() },
15 attribute local_format { local:format-date($i) }
16 }'
17 COLUMNS
18 xs_date_format VARCHAR2(10) PATH '@xs_date_format',
19 local_format VARCHAR2(10) PATH '@local_format'
20 )
21 ;

Type conflict when calling a function module!
friends,
i have given a F4 value request help for a field in the at selection-screen on value-request for fieldname..but when i click the f4 it's showing dump..
The function module interface allows you to specify only fields of a particular type under "RETFIELD". The field "S_SGLTX-LOW" specified here has a different field type. what could be wrong? thanks all.Hi,
Actually, we are using the function module for the F4 help that returns the values selected in an internal table. Very handy when programming your very own F4 help for a field.
Here is the sample code.
tables kna1.
data:
begin of t_values occurs 2,
value like kna1-begru,
end of t_values,
t_return like ddshretval occurs 0 with header line.
select-options s_begru for kna1-begru.
at selection-screen on value-request for s_begru-low.
t_values = 'PAR*'.
append t_values.
t_values = 'UGG'.
append t_values.
call function 'F4IF_INT_TABLE_VALUE_REQUEST'
exporting
retfield = 'BEGRU'
value_org = 'S'
tables
value_tab = t_values
return_tab = t_return
exceptions
parameter_error = 1
no_values_found = 2
others = 3.
if sy-subrc = 0.
read table t_return index 1.
endif.

Error when using CONVERT_OTF function module
Dear Friends,
In many of our reports we are using the function module CONVERT_OTF to send the output as a mail the users.
But after the latest patch update we have came across a new problem. Mail is getting triggered and we can also see the icon or
the file in mail. But when we are opening the file we are getting the message that "THERE WAS AN ERROR OPENING THIS
DOCUMENT. THE FILE IS DAMAGED AND COULD NOT BE REPAIRED.
Earlier this program has been working fine from last 2 years but after updating the patch in the of August 2009. This problem we are
facing. All our mails are not working.
Thanks
Vamshi
Edited by: Rob Burbank on Sep 7, 2009 3:12 PMDear Clemens,
Thank you for the immediate response. I have checked the program in Debug Mode. When we are passing the data to the CONVERT_OTF the output table of the function module is showing the data in some Unicode format in the tables OTF and LINES.
Out of the FM is in completely special characters and this is after updating the latest patch.
We are using Release 700 Level 19 and Service Package SAPKA70019.
Thanks and Regards

I have created a simplee application that controls a piece of equipment with all control via a supplied dll. Hence, there are a number of Call Library Function Nodes within the code and a modicum of other LabVIEW code. Everything works fine as a LabVIEW application, but when converted to an executable, although the application runs and functions, as soon as any Call Library Function Node is executed, calling from the dll, I get the C++ debug error in the attachment.
Is this something that I can solve from within LabVIEW, or is the problem likely buried in the dll?

CLFN error.JPG 22 KBHi Wise,
Try building an executable from a very simple VI that makes one call to the dll. Have you also try using the Call Library Function node on other simple dlls that you know will work?
