Time diminished on video transfer to IPod

I transfered a number of music video files to my Ipod. Lately when I succesfully transfer a 3 or 4 minute video to my Ipod the time has been reduced to 2 seconds. I can't figure out why?

Will the video you purchased play in iTunes? If you haven't tried it, try playing it in iTunes first and then see if it will transfer.

Home videos transfer to ipod with no sound

so i have a video camcorder and i made some home videos and they wouldn't copy to my ipod. so i went to my toolbar and it said convert selection for ipod or something along the lines of that and so i clicked that and a new window popped up under my devices section of my itunes tabs where the cds show up when i'm importing and it took about 2 minutes to convert. so i resynced my ipod and the video went on and so i went to watch it because i always double check these things to be sure and there's no sound to accompany the video. i guess it's not that big of a deal but it would be nice if i could find out what the problem is

QuickTime expects video files with separate video and audio tracks, but many MPEG formats used a muxed (multiplexed) single track that contains both. Therefore, iTunes & the iPod (both of which use QuickTime) only show the video and no sound.

I have transfered videos to my ipod in the past but I have two tv shows from the Itunes story that won't transfer.
They are in the correct mpeg 4 whatever format. My itunes is the most resent version, but for some reason I keep getting the same error.

I've got this problem too. My 5g iPod 30gig syncs after about 3 minutes with iTunes then after loading songs and videos after 10 minutes i get the same message your getting - "Can't Read Or Write to disk". I think theres some kind of USB2 conflict or something. All my other USB devices work fine. All my drivers and software is up-to-date.

ITunes videos (wrongly) too big to transfer to iPod or iPhone

When I attempt to sync videos (movies or TV shows downloaded from iTunes Store), iTunes reports that the transfer cannot be completed because there is not enough room on the destination device. Regardless of which videos I select, or how many I select, iTunes says they amount to 19.2 GB when, in fact, my selections are always less than 5GB. I have plenty of room on both the devices I've attempted to transfer to (iPod and iPhone), and have restored both of them to try to fix the problem, so I'm guessing it's a problem with iTunes. Am running iTunes 9.0.3 on OS 10.6.2. The problem only occurs when I attempt to transfer videos, not photos, apps, music, etc.

Video wont transfer to iPod Classic

Why is this? It transfered before, then I wiped it and now it wont transfer, saying those videos aren't compatible with this version of iPod.

Why wont my videos transfer to my iPod?

Why won't my video clips transfer to my iPod?
They are in iTunes, and play just fine in there, but then when I try to transfer them to my iPod, an error message comes up saying:
The video was not transfered to __'s iPod, because the file could not be played on it.
Is there something wrong with the iPod itself?
or is there something wrong with my files?
Are there only specific file types that will transfer to it?
I couldn't find anything in the literature that came with it.
Please help. I need an answer quickly, if possible.

The format for videos the iPod takes is MP4 VGA video H.264 w/AAC 30 fps. I have been able to export videos to MP4 using Quicktime Pro with the criteria below, then transfer them to the DCIM\000APPLE iPod folder and view them so long as I replace videos already in that folder with the exact same name. However, when I add new videos with the same criteria to the DCIM\000APPLE folder, they do not show up in Videos on the iPod.

I have several 1.5 - 2 hour films which play perfectly.
