Time doesn't change!

the time on my iphone 3g is somehow an hour late, i tried ti change it manually through the following steps:
Setttings>general>date & time
but somehow it always returns me back to the home screen, i don't know why?!
Is there another way to manually change the time? Why is it returning me to the home screen?
btw i've got version 2.1

Hi there
Assuming the audio clip is the longest object on the slide, you can fairly easily adjust the slide to match the audio clip exactly. But it will require a small and simple adjustment for each slide. Perhaps this will help?
To make the adjustment, just click the slide in the film strip so it has focus, then click on the time indicator field over in the General section of the properties panel. Type a 1 in the field and press Enter. The slide should auto-adjust to the audio clip timing.
What would be even better would be if we could just select all the slides in the film strip and do that once. But in my testing it fails.
Cheers... Rick

I'm guessing you did not carefully read your owners manual, did you? Unless you are not going to be using your computer for several days at a time there is no reason to shut it down. Your manual states:
_Putting Your MacBook Pro to Sleep_
*If you’ll be away from your MacBook Pro for only a short time, put it to sleep. When the computer is in sleep, you can quickly wake it and bypass the startup process.*

  • Edit capture time doesn't work for multiple images

Hi all, hope you can help me.
I'm trying to edit capture time for multiple images. I select the images using the grid view, and go to Metadata>Edit Capture Time>Adjust to Specified Date and Time, enter the time, and select "change all." However, it seems that some, or perhaps most of the images don't actually have a new Date Created when this process is done.
I thought perhaps I needed to select 'write metadata to files', but the Date Created seems to revert back prior to writing to the file, or indeed, it doesn't actually change in the first place.
    Any ideas?
    Thanks,
    J

  • [SOLVED] systemd/cron as user: timer doesn't start after boot

    Hello,
I've tried to follow the wiki's systemd/cron functionality article to have a systemd service to run hourly.
Everything seems to be working ok, except that the hourly timer doesn't start automatically : I have to issue a
    systemctl --user timer-hourly.timer start
command every time I start the machine to get the timer running.
Can you help me understand what I'm missing to get the (user) timer to start automatically after boot?
    Thanks!

test_service.py is a simple python script that appends the current time to a file, to check if the service is being run by the timer. (it is after I start the timer after boot, and runs correctly every hour)
db_backup.sh is a script that dumps a database into a text file in a mercurial repository, commits the change and pushes it to backup locations.

  • Time measure has changed from frames to centesimal.

After upgrading from QT 7.2 (or 7.1) to 7.5 today the time measument in the film info window has changed from showing the time in frames to showing it in seconds with decimals.
Now shows time as 00:00:03:96 instead of 00:00:03:24.
I have looked around in the settings but can't find anything related to this.
I use QT-player for animation production, I need to have time displayed as frames.
Is there some way to change this or do I have to revert to my old version (not working with Firefox3)?

Yes, thanks, I've noticed that change which is nifty.
But it doesn't change the time display in the info window where before, I could have the time displayed as minutes:seconds:frames. With the new display I can have frames only, not seconds:frames.

  • IOS 7 doesn't change the lighting bolt icon when iPhone 4s is fully charged

When I connect my iPhone 4s to a plug and it starts charging, I can see a lightning bolt on iOS7 next to the battery, but when it is fully charged it doesn't change to a plug icon as it used to change on iOS 6. Any suggestions? Does it damage my battery?

Well, for the time being (I mean, if Apple does not go back to the bolt/plug icons) if the device shows 100% then it's fully charged.
But feel free to let Apple know that you want it in http://www.apple.com/feedback
