Hi All
Please suggest me regarding Time Evaluation Schemas.
We have schemas like TQTA, TM04, TM00 Etc. when we use PT60.
What are the different uses of these schemas & what are the situations when we need to use these schemas.
Which schema to use when & where?

TQTA: Generate Absence Quotas only, wtih this schema, we can update the IT2006. Time managemetn status is 7.
TM04: Time Evaluation Without Clock Times, Time managemetn status is 9 or 1 in 0007IT
TM00:Time Evaluation with Personnel Time Events/with clock times. Time managemetn status is 1 in 0007.
For both TM04, TM00 schemas we are using the one T,code that is PT60. THis PT60 t.code create through RPTIME00 program.
Schema TM00 processes time events that have been recorded at a time
recording terminal, or the time pairs formed from the time events in
pair formation. Attendances and absences are also imported.
Schema TM00 is based on positive recording of time data, that is,
recording all times that count as working time (actual times).
Schema TM00 only evaluates time data with clock times (or full-day
records). The main task of schema TM00 is to classify the actual times
by comparing them to the planned specifications in the daily work
schedule (start and end of planned working time, core times, breaks, and
so on).
The time worked by the employee is recorded in the Attendances infotype
(2002), and not as clock-in and clock-out times. When processing
clock-in/out times, the emphasis is on the length of time between the
postings and not on the times at which the postings were made.
You can use schema TM04 to process attendances and absences that specify
a number of hours only, rather than concrete start and end times.
The times stipulated in the daily work schedule are not relevant. Only
specifications such as planned hours and minimum daily working time are
evaluated from the daily work schedule.
TM04 caters both for negative time recording (recording of exceptions to
the work schedule) and positive time recording (recording all
attendances or actual times).
If negative recording is used, the planned hours are generated on the
basis of the daily work schedule. Recorded absences and some attendance
times are deducted (see schema TP01.)
The "Time Management status" indicator in the Planned Working Time
infotype (0007) shows whether all actual times are recorded for an
employee, or only exceptions to the planned specifications.
You can use schema TQTA to accrue absence quotas automatically in time
evaluation. The functionality is limited to the task of generating
quotas, that is, time balances or time wage types are not formed.
The schema is designed for employees who do not normally participate in
the daily time evaluation for the purposes of managing time accounts or
forming wage types. Using schema TQTA to determine absence entitlements
has the following advantages:
o   Quotas can be recalculated flexibly.
o   The need for a recalculation is recognized automatically.
o   Processing is carried out for every day in the period, leaving no
    gaps.
We have schemas like TQTA, TM04, TM00 Etc. when we use PT60.

  • Time evaluation:Regeneration of leaves for past with new slabs.

    Hi Gurus
    Find below our requirement and advice accordingly
    1.Employees annual leave entitlement slabs are bifurcated based on length of service as below
    Tenure with Company      Eligibility/Month
    1. Probation        1.5 Days
    2. 0-3 Years                           2 Days
    3. >3-6 Years     2.08 Days
    4. >6-10 Years     2.16 Days
    5. >10-20 Years     2.33 Days
    6. >20 Years Above     2.50 Days
    2.Probationary /regular employee bifurcation is done at employee subgroup level
    Emp Subgroups     Employee
    1. 01 - 10            Regular
    2. 11 - 20                          Probationary
    3. We use time evaluation schema ZM01 copy of TM01.
    4. On hiring, probationary will be assigned with employee subgroups 01-10 via hire action.
    5. On confirmation, probationary will be changed with employee subgroups 11-20.
    6. For probationary, system will generate monthly accruals of 1.5/month days till confirmation.
    7. After confirmation system will start generate 2 days/month.
    8.  We have a requirement that after confirmation action system should re generate the leaves from date of joining as per the employee after probation.
    Illustration:-
    1. Employee joined under probation on 01.06.2011.
    2. His monthly annual leave accrual till 31.12.2011 will be 9days i.e. (1.5 days * 6 months)
    3. On running confirmation action system should regenerate his annual leave from his date of joining with the new slabs and it should be 12 days i.e. (2 days * 6 months).
    Is it feasible in time evaluation. Pls advice.

    I have a couple of queries on this scenario.
    We can do it on the base of base entitlement but there is action dependency then its better to write PCR.
    First Check action type --> Then give the quota as 1.50 or 2 days as per req the nupdate the quota.
    Here before writing the PCR we need to take care of one thing that once employee changes the action it could not check the old action. Say for Ex when i am checking the probation and changed the Probation to permenant then it should not check the Probation again. So we need to put a counter check here.
    So i am writing a logic like first will check Probation an

  • Some question regarding time evaluation

    Hello,
    I have two questions regarding time evaluation:
    1. Is it possible (if yes, how) to still include a employee in time evaluation even if this employee is inactive (status P0000-STAT2 = 0). We need this in order to calculate weeks of not working (this has to be calculated). I know that for payroll this is possible wih a setting in infotype 0003.
    2. Is it possible (and how) to read data back from payroll into time. For example in payroll you export something to ZL table, can you then pick this up in time evaluation schema, as there is also ZL table. Or is there another way to do this?

    Why you want to evaluate the time for inactive person.
    If you want you can do.
    Process :
    First of all you have to group your employees. and sub groups.( for inactive emp)
    Assign the employee sub group grouping for PCR in Basic Pay ( IMG ).
    Then come to Time Evaluation Schema. Put the Day grouping nn nn nn nn in the Parameters. and run the time evaluation. You will get the output in DZL table.
    For the above process you need to configure the T510S table.
    Yes you can read the payroll into time.
    the same concept will run in both of the modules.
    the output should appear in the ZL table only.
    Here the concept is.....Some companies, they will not use the payroll wage types. only they will use the time wage types.. these wage types has to be configure in the T510S. and we have to do the wage type copying from the part of time management only if they are not using the payroll. So either in Payroll or in Time management the evaluation of time willbe the same.

  • Time Evaluation Re Run

    Hi There,
    i was trying to run Time evaluation for the period 01.04.2011 to 31/12/2011.
    from April, that is 01.04.4011 to 30.06.2011 Time evaluation was good, now time evaluation has to run from 01.07.2011 but time evaluation has repeated from 12.06.2011 to 11.07.2011 as Initialization period 07/2011, and the same scenario is repeated for the rest of the year..all periods are initiated on 12th of each month from 6th month that is 12.06.2011.
    i was been trying to rectify this issue but was not bale to solve it, could any one please look in to it and let me know how to solve it?

    When i try to generate the absences quota for employees without time evaluation using program RPTQTA00, I am not able to generate it.
    And i am getting "E You have not selected any generation rules".

    Check Quoma Feature
    Check what status u selected in IT7
    Check if ur using correct Schema
    If ur Using RPTQTA00 then use No Generation,and if ur using PT60/RPTIME00 change it to Increase.
    Check if u have maintained correct quota groupings.
    Revert back if its not solved

    Actually i had written sub schema for this..bcoz this URL is eligible for those employees who are Cash processing officer & also based on personnel area we have to check wheter particular employee is Cash processing officer or nt if yes then only update 1day URL  to 2006 IT, if the employee is working on Public holiday..for updating i had written this PCR..ZMN1 Public holiday indicator(timetype), 31 is my quota group.

    Currently system use Time Evaluation, and generate absece quota in last day of month.
    So any way to change that system will use differ day to generate absence quota?
    Example use day 28 of each month will generate absence quota? Have any enhacement or configuration?

    there 2 better solutions for this, one is Generate Period Parameters and according accordingly the month end date you follow and use the same period parameter in V_T559L table to your Quota.
    and other Solutions is Write a PCR like Below.

    Save it and go to TM04 Schema, and put this PCR with Function ACTIO and make sure to insert this before QUOTA Function and Before CUMBT. and save it, and dont forget to put TIME Time to your Base entitlement.
    you can run Time Evaluation to test it...let me know how it worked.

  • Time evaluation to generate future quotas

    Hi Gurus,
    We must generate absence quotas for the future(year 2015) cause personnel must request absences for next year.
    We run time evaluation till 01/01/2015 to generate quotas: 2015 quotas were generated correctly.
    If we run time evaluation till december 2014, all entitlements of year 2015 are reset to zero( IT2006-Absence quota).
    Is this a standard sap behaviour? the only solution is to set time evaluation till the 1st of january of the next year?

    Hi Marco,
    I recommend you consider your schema and quota generation rules (V_T559L) in detail to see how system generates quota. As you know 1st of each year is a key date to generate and accrued quota to EEs.
    I think the quota generation rules check the 1st day of year and gives the quota to EE. What will happen if you run time evaluation till 2015? Is there any problem in this case.
    If you would you can make a small schema with separated PCRs just for qota generation in such a cases to run and generate just quota without any other effect. In this way you can develp new PCRs with new rules in V_T559L to generate quota at the end of 2014. You should take care the quota validation be the same as you would.

    Hi All,
    I have checked work schedules and work sc. rules. everything looks fine. Reason being fine, same work schrdule rule, i.e. 5MTWTF is used for other employees, whose payroll area, personnel area, personnel subarea, employee group and employee subgroups are same.
    Why it is throwing error for one employee 753402.
    I am providing you more information. In table V_T569r, if u select recalculation category as time evaluation, it is mentioned as 01.01.2003. Initially, one action called "Conversion take on" has been maintained as on 01.03.2002, where employee had payroll area -99 (payroll irrelevant) and personnel subarea - DAYY.
    Then on 17.03.2008, another action ran "Conversion initial reassignment" where payroll area changed to "MT - monthly", subarea changed to DAYF. At that time PDC recalculation date in infotype 0003 was 01.03.2002 which was before recalculation date, i.e. 01.01.2003.
    Time evaluation was throwing 2 error messages. one was solved by changing PDC recaluation date to 17.03.2008. But other error related to work sc rule 1 VM 01 5MTWTF still occurs. 
    Can some body now provide some useful information?

  • Time evaluation error "Error while positioning ABWKONTI" for leave entitlem

    We are currently running on SAP ECC5. Time evaluation is run with schema TQTA everymonth to create leave quotas in info type 2006.
    I am experiencing a time evaluation error "Error while positioning ABWKONTI" for one employee when running TQTA.
    This employee was engaged on 14/08/2006. When I checked the logged changes per infotype, I found that a record for 14/07/2006 was deleted. I did check all the infotypes and all is reflecting the correct start date. I would really appreciate if someone can tell me how to fix this problem. Currently the leave entitlements are being processed manually. Please see below the error I am receiving:-

    Which Function Ur using for TQTR, Check That other wise P2006 Function Used.
    I think the error is in ur PCR.
    First u Understand the business process then write the PCR.
    Send ur pcr what u had written.
    also send ur Business senerio.like Conditions........

  • Attendance type in time evaluation

    Hi All,
    Need solutions for the below issues.
    1) Clock in and clock out information for an employee is stored in SAP in IT2011, if clock in or clock out information is missing for an employee it should trigger a mail to employee and his manager.
    2) Currently using one attendance type : On duty would be raised by employee when is on business trip. System should consider this as working.
    During time evaluation it should consider if any attendance type and clock in and clock out details for an employee. and generate the absence quotas.
    There is no integration with payroll.
    3) If the accumulated earned leaves cross 90 days, rest of the leaves to be encashed, is there any standard sap solution for this or need to write a PCR or custom development to be done.
    Please let me know ho to do.

    1. The TD20 PCR in time schema evaluates time pairs and errors out if times are missing. The errors are stored in the FEHLER table. Maybe you can write a custom program to read this table and send messages.
    2. The On duty will be entered in IT2002 I guess. The positive TE schema will read both IT2011 and IT2002 and so should not be a problem.
    3. You need to write a PCR to accomplish this. There are useful doc on this forum. This doc by Vivek is very helpful:

    Hi,
    The time clusters are found using reports RPCLST*(B2, B1, PC etc) via SE38. You can find the time clusters under the time menu in the menu tree.
    PCL1 - Database for HR work area
    PCL2 - Accounting Results (time, travel expense and payroll);
    The database table PCL2 contains the following data areas:
    B2 time accounting results
    CD cluster directory of the CD manager
    PS generated schemas
    PT texts for generated schemas
    RX payroll accounting results/international
    Rn payroll accounting results/country-specific ( n = HR country indicator )
    ZL personal work schedule
    Tto retrieve payroll results accesse SAP transaction PC_PAYRESULT for all countries.
    Finally u can get the results for time PT_CLSTB2 , for Payroll PC_PAYRESULT. With this t.codes u can get the require results for ur custom report.

  • Report to show Vacation entitlement before time evaluation

    Hi Gurus,
    We have this strange requirement for the vacation hours. We need to write a report that shows the remaining vacation hours for the coming year. My functional guys told me that we will get this after we run the time evaluation for each employee. but our requirement is to get these hours before time eval and write them to a flat file.
    They told me that we need to go through RPTIME00 program and get the logic where it calculates the vacation hours for the coming year. but the time schema is really big and to analyze this, it will take a long time (at least for me).
    So, did anybody came across this kind of situation? Please help me.

    There is no way that we can do this, unless we replicate what sap is doing in the backgroup.
