Time format in calendar events invitation emails is always 12H

Hi,
When sending calendar events invitation from iCloud, the time of the event displayed in the email is always with a 12hours format. Any idea how to solve this ?
Thanks,

If you go to the Settings Menu, and select Date & Time change the clock to use the 24 - Hour Time.
Cheers,
That only work for the main screen date and time display as well as the default clock included with the Playbook, but if you go to the BBridge Calendar, BBridge Task, when you set up a new appointment/task the only time that is there is the AM/PM one and not the 24h time, which I mentioned before is extremely confusing for me since I never ever worked with that system and I have no clue when is AM and when is PM

  • ICal won't let me change times of Google calendar event

I have been using iCal with Google Calendar for a long time, but suddenly, this morning, I am no longer able to edit times in my calendar events.  If I create a new event, it gets default times, and I can edit it all I want, but when I save it and then view it again, the old times are there.  I can edit the times accessing Google Calendar directly in a browser, and then the times of the event are updated in iCal when iCal re-syncs, but I can't actually make the edit through iCal.
Any thoughts? Anyone else experiencing this issue?
    Thanks.

    Greetings,
    Questions:
What version of the Mac OS are you using (Apple > About this Mac)
If you go into a freshly created new user on your Mac and add your Google calendar to ical, does the same thing happen?
    Cheers.

  • Calendar Event Invites - Time Zone Issue

    Hi all!
I just switched back to BlackBerry from iPhone, and love everything about it so far except one thing:  time zone issues on calendar invites.
My work uses an OS X hosted CalDAV server, and I was able to sync my existing calendars to it without issue.
    My time zone:  Eastern
    My coworkers timezone:  Central
The Issue:   I received an invite from a coworker, and on my Mac, it shows at 1PM Eastern, as it should.  The invite was sent for 12PM Central.  This same invite appears on my BlackBerry at 7AM Eastern.
    Testing completed:
I added an invite on my BlackBerry for 6AM Eastern as a test, and it appeared on my Mac at the correct time without issue.
I added an event on another day from my Mac, and it synced to my BlackBerry without issue.
So it seems that my issue only exists when recieving event invites from others, possibly in different time zones.
My Mac and BlackBerry are both set to Eastern time.
My coworkers Mac and iPhone are set for Central time.
I looked all through the BB settings and cannot find anything that would account for this odd behavior.
I tried a battery pull - same results.
I am on the latest OS available for a Q10:  10.2.1.2976
Can anyone help with this?  I would hate to have to go back to iOS for one issue like this, however, an accurate and reliable calendar is critical to my work.

    Try this, for a test.
Set your Q10 to GMT Timezone.
Open the calendar, your invtes should be ~5 hours ahead.
Set your TZ back to Eastern.
Check your specific event mentioned above which was at 7am Eastern.
    Is it correct now?

When I recieve an email, how do I add it to a Calendar event? I am not talking about accepting a invite, but when I recieve an email and I want to follow up to that email at a specific date and time. How can this be done in mail?

    Take a look at this.

  • Traveling across time zones and calendar events

I am going to Europe and want to know if I put my flights into my iOS calendar now using European local flight time will my calendar adjust for the time zone when I am there? I live in MST. In other words if I enter a 4:00PM FLIGHT now in MST, when I am in Rome will my calendar event still say 4:00 PM?

I believe the the calendar entry will change unless you go to settings> mail, contacts, calendars> Time zone override> on. I'm going to ask the hosts to move your question to the Using iPhone Forum. I'm sure someone will know for sure over there.

  • Iphone time changes and calendar events get triggered

Iphone 3GS recently updated to IO5 .... Windows PC (vista)...... Every so often, usually about once a day, sometimes twice a day. The correct time that shows jumps forward like 2-3 days with the wrong time. I lose AT&T connection and my calendar events for the next 2-3 days flash on my iphone one right after the other. I hit "close" and the next event flashes up on the screen. I do this for all the events that come up. After all the events are closed, AT&T network is connected again like nothing is wrong.  Anyone have or had this issue? Solutions? Thanks.

Nope, and this isn't the first problem I've been having with this phone. For months now I've been unable to use itunes on my computer to sync with my phone because it keeps coming up as not being able to read it and asking me to reset my phone to factory.

  • What is Travel Time when creating calendar event

When creating a new calendar event there is a new option for Travel Time to be on or off...what does this do?

Run http://filepropertiestask.codeplex.com task to get the file creation date and if older delete it or a Script Task that uses the .Net FileInfo
CreratedDate method to find it Then you can use
Precedence Constraints to either skip the file deletion or not.

  • HT4489 Error in iCloud every time I accept a calendar event invitation, I get asked to go offline or revert to server

Why is that and what can be done to solve the problem?

I just did that and everything looked ok.  I do notice however when I open up my calendar off to the left hand side where all the calendars are listed there is a triangle with a exclamation mark in the middle of it.  When I clicked on it a window, just like the one that has been popping up, opens and it gives the same message.  "server resoponded with an error" and it lists a various event and gives the choice to go offline, or revert to server.  I have to choose go offline in order to get the window to close.  Any idea what is happening?

  • Time Formats in Calendar: 12hr clock only???

I have a torch and a PB updated to the newest version.  On my torch I have the clock and torch's Calendar set to a 24hr clock.
on my PB I also set the clock to a 24hr clock.  But the calendar on my PB only displays events in a 12hr format. with an AM or PM.  I have gone over the options and can't find anything to make that calendar display a 24hr format
is this a bug or limitation

  • How to not display time in adf Calendar events?

Hello everyone, I am using JDeveloper Studio Edition Version 11.1.2.3.0
I created a calendar component in my application based on a table that fulfills the variables needed by the calendar (Start date, end date etc).
The events in the calendar are all displayed like "12:00 Testing something". Changing the start hour makes it to only start show a different time.
Does anyone know how can I remove the time from showing there? So displaying in this case only "Testing something"
    Thank you

So a strange thing happened actually, I did like I explained previously and nothing happened but when I wrote an expression like (ID == 0?"ALLDAY":'ALLDAY') - where ID is just a PK property in the EO it worked. Practically it is the same thing but who knows, at least now it works.

  • How do you turn off the displayed start time in individual calendar events? (Mavericks)

In iCal there was a preference option. It would seem that has gone away in Mavericks Calendar. Any work-arounds?

You could make them all day events, which will display as a banner.

  • I have a iphone 3GS, I am trying to send a apple calendar event invite to my sister's phone, why isn't she getting it? I have received invitations from other people before.

She said she did not recieve any invite and it would not let me add her phone number :/

I would think that at the very LEAST you would be eligible for a COMPLETE refund of ALL charges for insurance paid thru Verizon!  They were charging you for something you were ineligible for!  Verizon has a record of whether or not you purchased the phone from them - otherwise how could they deny the claim!

  • Google calendar event invites don't show up in Mail. Why?

I use Google calendar and my wife uses Apple Mail and iCal. When I send meeting requests from Google calendar to her, they never arrives in Apple Mail (either in the inbox nor in the junk mail folder). Meeting requests I send her never make it into iCal because she doesn't have the opportunity to either accept or reject them because they don't arrive in Apple Mail. Everyone else I send meeting requests to get them. Why don't they show up in Apple Mail?

Sounds like more of a question for the Mail experts. Once the file is added to the Mail message it's not really anything to do with iPhoto.

  • How do I find out when a I calendar event was declined by it invitee?

How do I find out the date and time a I calendar events invitation was declined?

i'm not entirely sure about the new tab page - in principle it will use an algorithm which populates the slots based on the frequency & the recency of visits. however i think that sites removed from the history should also disappear from the new tab page (when i tried it it was at least true after i've restarted the browser once) - if this isn't happening for you then it might be some bug...
in any case firefox won't have the proper features to reliably monitor your kids' browsing behaviour - they always can use private browsing mode where no traces will be left on the pc or manually "clean up" the history.

  • Dissapearing emails with calendar events

Whenever I receive an email containing a Calendar Event invitation the email just deletes itself after accepting the invitation. The event is correctly added to the Calendar but the email message dissapears and I cannot access the message from a different device (e.g. office PC). It is annoying!

You may want to check your calendar events settings and make sure the to and from date are just for that one day and also make sure your reminder is set for one time event and not daily on your device as well as your repetition is set to one time event.
