Time format iOS 8  - Slovenian language

iOS 8 time format in Slovenian language (and some others too) have only one dot --> 10.39 (in english language it's OK --> 10:39). Is there any way to change it? The same problem on iPhone and iPad.

It's presumably a bug that you should report to Apple

  • How do you change the date and time format in Pages

    I've tried changing the date and time format a number of times for Pages but it does not change.  I'm going to the System Preferences/Language and Text and Formats.  I make the changes click on OK and go back to Pages.  NO change.

    Hi Uncle,
    Page 116 of the Pages'09 User Guide: Control Click the date, Edit Date and Time.
    Date and time can also be in a table. Format the table cell.
    The User Guide is well worth a read. Download it from the Help menu in Pages.

  • Time format

    I was recently given a MacBook Air 11" for my birthday (lucky me!) and chose English as the system language. I chose the date and time settings to follow the European system (I live in France) i.e. date: 28/9/2010 and time: 20:40, but Mail displays the time as 8:40pm, which I find totally annoying.
    I know it probably has to do with the language choice as my MacBook Pro, which has French as its system language, displays the time the European way - logical, no?
    Anyway, is there a way of changing this format?
    Thanks for any help.

    Hello starfishy,
    I hope this response comes not too late:
    Go to System Preferences > Language & Text > Formats. There you will see three sections entitled Dates, Times and Numbers. Press Customize in the Times section, and you will see the predefined formats for all time variants used throughout the system -- short, medium, long and full. Change all these time formats; each item has a drop-down list showing you the options. I changed the hour to 01-24, and completely deleted the AM/PM. When you restart Mail, it should now display 20:40 as you wanted.
    A screenshot is here at http://www.nonformality.org/images/twentyfour.png. Hope it helps.

  • Changing date/time format

    Hi there,
    I live in the United States but prefer my dates to be in the dd/mm/yy format as opposed to the US mm/dd/yy format. I also like 24-hour time rather than AM/PM. I System Preferences>Language & Text>Region, I found the tool to modify my preferred date/time formats. However, I notice that the format of the date in my menu bar does not change (it still reads Sep 25 when it should read 26 Sep). All other dates/times appear to function correctly. I briefly switched the Region of the computer to the United Kingdom but quickly switched it back because of how autocorrect handled words like "color."
    Ideas?

    That did the trick - sometimes the easiest thing to do is hard to see. Seems I have been working too long on a Windows machine (unfortunately, I have to do so at work)...
    Thanks for the quick help!

  • Formatting dates according to language defined in "Regional format" (not "Country/Region") setting

    Hi all,
    How do I format a date/time value according to the language defined in Settings > Region > Regional format on Windows Phone 8.1 (WinRT)?

    Hi Gabriel,
    Windows.Globalization.Language class provide the functionality to the regional format in windows phone, access it and create
    a new cultureInfo object. Have a look at the following link for details.

  • ICal: alter events time format to hh:mm:ss

    What i want to do in iCal is: Execute GarageBuy scripts by an event's alarm on date hh:mm:ss
    Limitations: iCal events are limited to the time format hh:mm
    Looking for: guidance how to alter the iCal code myself to change the time format to hh:mm:ss - if this is possible.
    Background:
    So far i experienced that in system settings / language & text / formats / times let you customize the short time to hh:mm:ss. The short time format will determine in iCal how it displays the time format of events [hh:mm:ss] in the monthly overview but unfortunately not in the event settings itself [where it is still limited to hh:mm].

  • ESS services date and time format?

    Hi,
    How can we change the date and time format displayed on some of the ESS services like addresses, LR screen?  Currently I see US format date MM/DD/YYYY and time is in european format 12,50 instead of dot(.).
    I tried changing the browser setting to UK but it didn't work.  Any other suggestion please?
    Thanks
    Praveen

    I tried to create a simple WD application with just date control UI element, I can see the date format is displayed based on my browser setting.  If I change it to US in my browser locale, it date format changes to US date format, if I change it to UK locale the date format is UK based.
    Only my ESS/MSS applications are always displayed as US format.  I checked at the iView level and I can only see ForcedRequestLanguage but I cannot see ForcedRequestCountry property so I'm unable to set any country specific details here.  When I look at the JCo connection language tab, I see the
    Current locale: en
    Default VM locale:  en_US
    I think this is where change is required.  However I changed following JCo languages from en to en_UK but still no luck
    SAP_R3_HumanResources
    SAP_R3_HumanResources_MetaData
    Backend is checked as posted above.
    I checked below which is the second precendence in determining locale
    Portal mandatory locale -- open file prtDefault.properties on server under
    /usr/sap/<SID>/JC#/j2ee/cluster/server#/apps/sap.com/irj/servlet_jsp/irj/root/web-inf/portal/system/properties/
    I cannot find below mandatory parameters in the prtDefault.properties file
    request.mandatorylanguage
    request.mandatorycountry
    However, I found this
    request.defaultlanguage=en
    request.defaultcountry=us
    Is this something I can change?  Or should I replace or should I add mandatoryLanguage/country?
    Can this file be edited through NWA or should this file be edited manually at the file system level?
    Please advice.
    Thanks

  • Albanian regional settings, date-time format

    We need to have the regional settings on our SharePoint 2013 installation set to the Albanian language.
    When the Albanian regional settings are selected, in many places the time part of a date disappear. If I revert back to another language (en-us for example) the time is shown again.
    Why is this happening, how could we correct the time format?
    d.

    A (totaly) random discovery:
    $siteURL = "http://siteURL"
    $site = Get-SPSite $siteURL
    Write-host - starting for $siteURL
    $web = $site.OpenWeb()
    $web.RegionalSettings.Time24 = $true
    $web.Update()
    Setting the time to 24H format displays the time.
    Setting it back to 12H format will hide the time part of a date-time. Weird...

  • Change time format to 24 hours

    Dear Experts,
    In  my webdynpro application I have a requirement where I have to use a 24 hr time format, but by default it is shown as 12 hr format, because of the language in portal.
    And I only want to change the format in this application only, not of all the portal.
    Please suggest.
    Warm Regards,
    Upendra Agrawal

    Hi Upendra,
    Assign the value from backend to the newly created attribute of type new simple type. This will convert it to the 24 hrs format
    OR
    if you get the date from backend,
    Try using a date formatter.
      String s;
      Format formatter;
      Date date = // Your date value from the backend.
      formatter = new SimpleDateFormat("HH.mm.ss");
      s = formatter.format(date);
    This will give the time in 24 hrs in the variable 's'.
    Pls try this and let me know.
    Thanks and Regards,
    Shyam.

  • How do i start video and audio at the same time in ios

    How do i start video and audio at the same time in ios?
    I have tried a lot of different ways but i cant figure it out?
    I can get the sound and animation (timeline) to start playing.
    There is no problem to start the video and the animation at the same time.
    But i cant get both the video and the audio to start playing when i press a button.
    It works great in OSX and on windows?
    Here is an example:
    // insert code for mouse click here
    // Play an audio track
    sym.$("_1")[0].play();
    // Play a video track
    sym.$("host")[0].play();
    // Play the timeline at a label or specific time. For example:
    // sym.play(500); or sym.play("myLabel");
    sym.play("marker1");

    If the game has sound in it (and possibly even if it doesn't) it may be overriding the Music app and causing it to stop playing - in which case there is nothing that you can do about it.

  • During export from Discover to Excel, Time Format changes to Number Format

    Hi
    I have a seconds column which is of number datatype. But in my report, I am converting the number in *0HH:MI:SS* format. For example, I have *4952534 seconds*. So my report is showing *1375:42:14* which is a Time Format. It looks good when I view the data in Discoverer Viewer or Plus. But when I try to export the data to Excel, the time format gets converted to *4952534 seconds*, which is creating problems. So can you suggest on how can I preserve the formatting during export to excel from discoverer.
    Thanks
    Sachin

    Hi,
    Excel will not implement the 0HH:MI:SS data format, it just gets the field as a number. You will have to format the field into text using the calculation from my previous post.

  • Display value in hh:mm time format in SSRS Report

    Hi Everybody,
    I have an SSRS report where one of the column is sum of time values. When I do the summation, the values are coming in this format. In the last column the minute value is getting displayed more than 60. How can I format it to proper time format as hh:mm
    so that it displays as "08:15" . The expression which I am using is "  Sum(CDec(FormatNumber(Fields!Overtime_Hours.Value,2)),"Month"). Your help would be highly appreciated.

    Thanks & Regards,
     RPC
    Regards RCP

    Hi RPC24,
    According to your description, you can calculate the correct value of time summation. Now you want to make the result into proper time format (hh:mm). Right?
    In this scenario, we can convert the time into string type, split the string based on delimiter ":" and convert each part into integer. Then do the calculation for each part and set the hour increase 1 every 60 minutes (we can adjust in expression).
    We have tested this case in our local environment. Here are screenshots for you reference:
    1. The report design looks like below:
    A: =Format(TimeValue(Fields!StartTime.Value.ToString),"hh:mm")
    B:=CStr(SUM(CInt(split(CStr(Format(TimeValue(Fields!StartTime.Value.ToString),"hh:mm")),":")(0)))+SUM(CInt(split(CStr(Format(TimeValue(Fields!StartTime.Value.ToString),"hh:mm")),":")(1)))\60)+":"+CStr(SUM(CInt(split(CStr(Format(TimeValue(Fields!StartTime.Value.ToString),"hh:mm")),":")(1)))
    Mod 60)
    Ps: In this sample, we used Time data type. You may need to do some modification in your expression based on the data type of the time data field.
    2. The result looks like below:
    Reference:
    Summing the Value of HH: MM: SS In SSRS

    have you tried the FormatDateTimeString function with a standard string indicator and the "%c" formatcode as described in the help instead of the generic timestamp indicator?
