Time Frame for Costing

Hi
Can any one tell me "What is the time frame for configuring the complete product costing"
and majority of the events and its time consumption.
thanks in advance.
regards
Adi

Hi There,
Consider using a structure of key figure to arrage you data, with the time characteristic on top of the structure for flexibility.

    Any time frame for when we will be getting the Android 5.0 upgrade to the G3 on Verizon?

    No one from Verizon can or will give you a timeline. They have no idea. Verizon can't even test 5.0 until they get it from LG first so perhaps you should be asking them.

  • Default time frame for ICAL events

    Ever since I upgraded to Lion, the default time frame for ICal events has been set to "entire day".  Is there any way to change this?

    Hi,
    If you add a time to the event description, like "meeting  11am tomorrow", it should create an event (with the title "meeting" on tomorrows date at 11am with a duration of 1 hour.

    Can you please share what implementation methodology we follow in EHS implementation?
    Is it the same ASAP methodology or any new?
    What is the average time frame for EHS implementation if we do it in one phase & time requirement for each component like product safety or waste mgt?

  • Time frame for SAP implementation query

    Hi guys,
    I am a university student and am currently trying to collect some information for my paper on development of ERP systems in industrial companies, particularly SAP. I'm meant to do some field research, but it is proving to be rather difficult, which is why I wanted to ask for some help from people who have experience in the implementation of the SAP system.
    What I'm looking for is the time frame that the SAP system takes to integrate into an industrial firm. Also, the scope of integration (ie how many and which modules were added on top of the core SAP system) and the number of users after the full implementation of the system.
    I don't need the name of particular companies, as I understand that that may be disclosing too much corporate information, but it would really help me if someone could give me a realistic time frame of the implementation process for SAP.
    Thank you, in advance!
    Anya

    Anya,
    Update to your queries:
    size of the company that this SAP implementation took place at:
    Answer : In terms of revenue $200 million +
    Interms of employees 6000+
    HR module in particular - whether it can be fully implemented separately and how long would it take?
    Answer:
    Definately, it can be fully implemeted and other modules may not be used
    Time period - 3+ months as Business packages are available in SAP.

  • Time Frame for re-installing Mountain Lion?

    I decided to completely re-install Mountain Lion using the reboot and holding down the command and R keys at the same time. The Download of the OS took about 1.5hrs-2hrs but the actually installation is still going.
    It's literally getting to about 9 hours since the actual install has begun. It is EXTREMELY slow. Each time frame that it gives me is inacurate. by the time it goes from "15 minutes remaining" to "14 minutes remainig" it's already been 30min-1hr. It's been at "about a minute" for almost an hour now.
    Am I doing something wrong or is this normal???
    I'm using a Macbook Pro that I just bought from the Apple store about 4 months ago. 500GB HDD and 4GB RAM.
    This is so frustrating. I've never had this type of issue with a PC before. 9+ hours to install an OS? That's laghable. $1500 paperweight sitting just infront of me.
    And the reason I decided to completely reinstall the OS is because my computer was slowing down and freezing. Found out it might be the indexing it was doing out of no where for spotlight but even after turning off indexing it still was running slow. Apple wanted to charge me $20 to fix the bugged "functionality".
    And also I have checked the HDD to make sure nothing is wrong with it.

    Wow, glad so many folks have read it but no one has replied except myself, I posted it. Guess no one knows out there and Apple reps aren't responding.
    Lots of folks complaining about slow issues but no fixes from Apple.
    Not good.

  • Time Frame for the document

    Hi,
    I am working on Home -> Top News i used <b>SAP Demo news</b> to display the content on news ivew. I want to display news content for the specific duration for which i already enabled <b>Time Stamp</b> option for <b>News</b> Folder under Content Manangement. I event set the validity day and time for the document but still the content is appearing on the news iview even validity time expires.
    I also made the Document in <b>read only</b> mode.
    Please Help me on this.
    Thanks and Regards
    Parth

    Hi Parth,
    Everyone is a built-in group that contains all the users. you can see it in the Identity Management if you pick Group from the Select Criteria.
    Some basic reading:
    <a href="http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/81/0e0f61b566dc44bbb4055b3ccd25be/frameset.htm">http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/81/0e0f61b566dc44bbb4055b3ccd25be/frameset.htm</a>
    Let me see if I understand,
    You want everybody to be able to create a news item but then you want the items to disappear after a certain time? This is a bit tricky since you want users who created the item to have only read permission on it. you will probably have to implement a custom repository service for that. This reqiuers coding. let me know if that is what you want.
    If you want a scenario where some users create items and the rest only read them, adjust the permissions on the folder level: assign write permissions to the item creators and read permissions to everybody else.

  • Apple Repair Policy - time frame for repair

    Does any one know how long will it take for apple to repair their products or what their policy is on repair times.
    I have my macbook sitting in repair depot for more than 2 weeks waiting on a part .which is very frustrating .Is it common for Apple repairs to go for 3-4 weeks .
    Mine is macbook bought in June 2006 and I had all kinds of issues with that ( screen flicker , rapid battery discharge , isight , discoloration and power off issues ).

    I sent my MacBook in once on a Monday and received it back on Thursday. They must be waiting for parts for yours.

  • Time frame for receiving money

    How quickly would I receive the money my mom is sending me if she is sending money for the first time using a credit card vs a bank account tied to her account? Also I've sent money from my bank account, but this will be the first time receiving money from anyone.

    All payments are more or less instant. Normally paypal credit you upfront and then wait for the funds to process from someones funding source. But if they are using a bank account then for it to be instant you need a back up card linked to paypal as well. As your mum is going to use her credit card then thats fine BUT she will pay a fee even if she uses the friends / family option WHICH SHE SHOULD USE. If she used her bank account then as long as she has a c.c. linked as well there should be no fee if she again uses the friends / family option.    ********************************* I give up my time to help you so a thank you or kudos would be cool.
    Marking one of my replies as a solution would be appreciated if I sorted your problem.

  • Time frame for Camera Profile Beta?

    What might be Adobe's thinking in terms of releasing a final version of the new Camera Profiles? Not as idle a question as it might seem. It sounds like many LR users have added a new profile as an automatic Import choice; and as the weeks go by, significant numbers of photos must have been given one of these excellent developments as a starting point for further tweaking.
    As the profiles are in public beta, and Adobe Labs state they want user import before finalizing the release; it is germane to ask to what degree does Adobe plan - or indeed need to plan - to provide compatibility between a series of profiles that might be subject to further modification, and those applied during the interim (beta) period? And also how long that interim period is likely to last?

    The beta profiles will never just disappear. When we do release the final profiles, they will be installed such that both profiles appear in the calibration popup. The beta profiles will only go away if you manually delete them.
    If the user choses to manually delete the beta profiles, Camera Raw/Lightroom will automatically switch any previously adjusted images using the beta profiles to the final profiles with the same base name.

  • Time frame for responses

    Obviously my original thread for help has been abandoned by whomever in Verizon Customer Support that originally responded/opened it. why is my signal quality declining?   When we moved into our home in 2009 the signal was fine, over the past year to 18 months it has steadily declined to the point of uselessness.   Neither text nor voice reliably works.  I need a solution from Verizon, it is to the point that I am going to need to add a land line or VOIP service to my home for reliable service.

    I appreciate your helpful honest response, In the future I will be sure to mark additional items as  "a question".    Verizon's own "Support" link brings you to this forum, therefore a CSR or the like should be monitoring all discussions, especially one that has been marked as a question, inquired upon by a csr, and then responded to by myself, yet still ignored weeks later. . .

  • Is there any time frame for when all apps have to be updated to be full screen on the iPhone 5?

    A lot of my apps still dont open in full screen, as Im sure most of you have noticed. Is there any word as to when/if developers are forced to make this update to use the full screen? Its pretty lame that some apps are still the same size as they were on my iphone 4. Definitely takes away from one of the biggest new features of the phone.

    No one can 'force' the developers to do this.  It's their app, they can do as they please.  As the customer, you can choose to use it or not.

  • Why time-dependent not work for cost center and profit center hierarchy

    Has anybody been able to successfully turn on time-dependent for cost center hierarchy? Looks like the R/3 datasource 0COSTCENTER_0101_HIER is defaulted to be NOT time-dependent, and I don’t know how to change the R/3 configuration to enable time-dependent for this datasource.
    Here is what I found. If you go to RSA2 in R/3 and enter datasource 0COSTCENTER_0101_HIER, and then select "Hierarchy Info", you will see that all the time-dependent properties are unchecked by default. By comparison, Cons Unit datasource 0CS_UNIT_CSCU_HIER has “Version Dependent Hierarchy” as selected, and we are able to load Cons Unit hierarchy as time-dependent, but have no luck so far with the Cost Center hierarchy.
    Can any BI guru tell me how I can make time-dependent work for the cost center hierarchy?
    Thanks a bunch!

    Check SETLEAF and SETNODE.
    Basically CO Master data groups dont have seperate tables. They will be available in above tables. Choose proper Set class to filter the results

  • CSM ret-code time-frame

    A company I work for has a number of CSM modules (WS-X6066-SLB-APC) installed in 6513 chasis switches. The CSM modules are running version
    4.2(14)
    These CSM modules are configured to load-balance a number of vservers via serverfarms, each serverfarm containing multiple real servers.
    Here is some example configuration:
    vserver SITE
      virtual 10.1.2.3 tcp www
      serverfarm SERVERFARM
      persistent rebalance
      inservice
    serverfarm SERVERFARM
      nat server
      no nat client
      predictor leastconns
      failaction reassign
      retcode-map RETCODE-MAP
      real 10.2.3.4
       inservice
      real 10.2.3.5
       inservice
    map RETCODE-MAP retcode
      match protocol http retcode 503 503 action remove 5 reset 300
    The company is facing a problem with what seems to be related to return code checking. Every once in a while a server will suddenly not receive any traffic for 5 minutes. This always occurs right after the server has sent a HTTP 503 return code. However we cannot see in the CSM logs that the CSM module has actually disabled the real server. For other serverfarms which are running regular HTTP and/or ICMP health checks to real servers we can clearly see in the CSM logs when a real server has been temporarily disabled due to health check failures.
    The return code checking is set to disable a real server for 300 seconds after the CSM has received five HTTP 503 responses from the real server. If we check the real server log however we cannot find more than that single 503 return code right before the server stops seeing any incoming traffic unless we move back at least hours in time.
    I have tried to figure out what time frame those 5 return codes must be received within for them to count towards the maximum allowed return codes, but nowhere in no documentation can I find any information about this time frame.
    For all I know the CSM could keep track of every incoming 503 forever, until the maximum of five 503's is reached, and then the server is disabled for 300 seconds.
    Does anyone have any information about the time frame within which those return codes must be received by the CSM to count toward the maximum configured number of return codes before the configured action is taken?

    Hi Christopher
    EDIT: It might actually be me who misunderstood your reply. You probably gave me the correct answer already, that there is no time limit at all to the counter, and the counter will increase until it reaches 5 even if those 503's are spread out over several months time. Could you please confirm that this is what you meant? I'll leave my original reply down below for you to look at.
    ORIGINAL MESSAGE:
    Thanks for your reply, but I think you might have misunderstood my question, and I don't exactly blame you because I had some difficulty explaining what I meant.
    I know what each and every key word in the following line mean, and I understand the command.
    match protocol http retcode 503 503 action remove 5 reset 300
    We match the protocol http, and look for when/if the server sends a return code 503 back to a client. Each time a 503 return code is returned from the real server a counter is increased by one. When the counter reaches 5 we take the action to remove (disable) the server. 300 seconds after the server was disabled it will be enabled again, and the counter will also be reset to zero at this point.
    But I'm asking about the time frame for the counter, or rather if there is a default timer that resets the counter back to zero after a certain amount of time. Let me give you an example.
    I enable return code checking for HTTP 503 and configure it to disable a server after five HTTP 503's have been seen by the CSM
    1 minute later the server sends three HTTP 503 messages to a client. Now the return code check counter is at 3. This is where the "time frame" that I speak of begins.
    Another 6 minutes later the server sends one HTTP 503 message to a client. The time frame within wich the CSM has seen HTTP 503's is now 6 minutes, so the CSM has seen four different HTTP 503's within 6 minutes. The counter would now be at 4.
    5 months later the server sends a fifth HTTP 503 message to a client. The time frame is now five months and six minutes. Will this fifth HTTP 503 message increase the return code check counter to 5? If it does, then the server will be disabled for 300 seconds, even though it was 5 months since the previous four 503's were seen by the CSM.
    What I'm wondering is basically if there is a limited time frame (like a sliding window) after which the return code check counter is reset back to zero? I cannot find any information about this, and as far as I can see there is no command I can use to see what the return code counter is currently at either, so I cannot manually verify this.
    It would have made sense if the feature worked like this instead, and I'm still hoping that someone can provide documentation that says this is the way it is supposed to work (because if the above example is true, then the feature is broken and useless)
    5 minutes later the counter is reset to zero, because no 503's have been seen for over five minutes.
    2 months later the server sends a HTTP 503 message to a  client. This increases the counter to one. The server is never disabled. After another 5 minutes the counter is reset back to zero again.
    I hope that the above examples make it a bit clearer what I meant with my original question.

  • Run steps in a chain at a specific time frame

    I've got an ETL process running in a scheduler chain. First steps are extracting data from remote servers. Each remote server has it's own time frame in which I can extract the data. Once the window is closing I need to kill the job immediately.
    My question is, Is it possible to define a time frame for single steps in a chain ?
    Other options i'm considering (but all are less favorable)
    Create a job with max_run_duration for each extraction step and manually time the transformation / load chain steps after. Advantage - simple, Disadvantage - A lot of ideal time.
    Same as above but make the transformation / load chain with an event based job to when all extraction jobs are done. Advantage - Less ideal time, Disadvantage - More complex, error prune.
    These two options requires a sniper job to catch JOB_OVER_MAX_DUR event and kill the job.These options also require breaking up the chain - something I would like to avoid. Another option that keeps the chain intact is
    Defining the step rule with a time based condition (and using low evaluation_interval ~ 60 seconds) But then I cannot set max_run_duration and there for cannot stop the job if it's working when the time frame is closing.
    I would appreciate any ideas on solving this problem.

    Hello,
    You can for instance execute the following when you create your Refresh Group:
    BEGIN
    DBMS_REFRESH.MAKE(
    name => '"{color:red}schema{color}"."{color:red}refresh_group_name{color}"',
    list => '',
    next_date => TRUNC(SYSDATE) + 1 + 1/24,
    interval => 'TRUNC(SYSDATE) + 1 + 1/24',
    implicit_destroy => FALSE,
    lax => FALSE,
    job => 0,
    rollback_seg => '{color:red}rollback_segment{color}',
    push_deferred_rpc => TRUE,
    refresh_after_errors => TRUE,
    purge_option => NULL,
    parallelism => NULL,
    heap_size => NULL);
    END;
    /Then you add your MV to the Refresh Group as follow:
    BEGIN
    DBMS_REFRESH.ADD(
    name => '"{color:red}schema{color}"."{color:red}refresh_group_name{color}"',
    list => '"{color:red}schema{color}"."{color:red}MV_name{color}"',
    lax => TRUE);
    END;
    NB: The syntax and option can change with the Release (this syntax is well tested on 8.1.7).
    Hope it can help.
