something terrible is the i OS 7, all interface such as big time lag and it is on iPad with retina!! It’s really sad that Apple started to do such mistakes…
iMessage is individually part, there is no iMassage on iOS 7 it's simply to say))) we have a lot of apple devices in our family and each of them have a problem with iMessage.

Mine does the same thing. It has to do with where it stores the music in memory I believe. It has to go to the location in memory and load all the screens and content. Same thing is true of any flash drive. In essence your iPod touch is just a big fancy flash drive.

How do I create a delay or time-lag for my data in LABVIEW

In my data acquisition system I am using acquired data to create an digital output. I want to delay this output or create a sort of time lag for it. Is there any easy way to incorporate this?

What you might consider doing is using a sequence. Run the data through this sequence and inside of the sequence, put a delay equal to the time you wish to delay the signal. Then, the output will not be available until the delay has completed.
If you need continuous streaming data, this might not work too well. Then, you will need some sort of a data buffer - perhaps using a queue might be one possible solution. I have not used it, but I think that queues can have a time stamp. You could possibly artifically alter the time stamp.

Recording time lag

my earlier problem (of audition recording the content of all tracks to the track i was trying to record only mic input to) seems to have more or less solved itself (but thanks anyway to ryclark). now i have another problem: when i record mic input it records with a time lag so it's out of synch with the music backing track.
i've tried tweaking just about everything (buffer size, synch reference, offset) but nothing seems to cure this. it happened to me once before but i can't remember how i fixed it. anyone have any ideas?

I'm having the exact same problem. I'm using Audition 1.5 to record guitars for my band and when recording in multitrack there is a very short lag between what I'm playing and when it gets recorded. So when I listen back to what I recorded, it's out of sync from the rest of the tracks. I've tried everything the OP said as well and nothing seems to work.

In 10g we can run below script on Standby to find out time lag between Primary and standby .

Info Package load 'Time Lag'

Hi Experts,
Is there a table which holds information about time lag of a info package run.
If yes which field of dat table gives this information ?
If there is no direct method, is there a indirect method to derive it from any table.
I badly need to get it from a table, coz I need to document this for lot of info packages, and if I do it manually it takes lot of efforts (going to "details" tab of every info package run and all dat stuff..)

Playlist -play all time lag

Playlist and play all work well but for my taste there is too much time between the files being played--too much black on the screen before it goes to the next video. Is there a way to shorten the time lag?

I had hoped to have a button for "Play Movie", and then others for several chapters within the edit.
With the play list I get a Jerk and slight pause between chapters while playing the play list, so I can't use a Chapter Playlist to play the whole movie.
This means I can't have any chapters to refer to on the DVD, without creating an entirely new timeline that has one chapter, as this mean two timelines on the DVD, of the same edit, which is too big to fit on the DVD.
The six chapters are fed into one another with the End Action, leading to the next chapter.
Using XP SP2

Playing the Timeline is fine, is just when using the Chapter Playlist. The Jerks and Pauses between chapters is worse on Preview.

Time lag in dataguard

Hi experts...Version is 10.2.0...OS is AIX....Our AIX admins they want to upgrade their version from 5.3 to 6.1 wanted our DBA team to shutdown the Physical standby database...we did that and after all the maintanance was done we mounted the standby database...initially we had the Time lag of 30 minutes between the primary and standby....my question is how to know the time lag after the standby is up and mounted..and will the archives be applied as usually??? and what about the archives when the standby is down.....

It will be worth checking your alert logs to ensure that the logs are being shipped to the destination and then perhaps run a query such as something like this in order to check the time stamp on the latest archive log log applied.
On the Standby:
SELECT SEQUENCE#,APPLIED FROM V$ARCHIVED_LOG
ORDER BY SEQUENCE#;
(Check in line with the primary)
If the configuration was already there, then expect the log shipping to commence again once restarted. Note: While the standby is down the archive logs will remain in storage and will catch up once the database has been mounted again.

C40 & C90 Time lags

A client is looking to stream a C40 and C90 live between 2x points. They are very concerned over time lag. Can you tell me what the potential lag between the 2x codecs on a 10gb network would be. Would it be possible to allow the client to measure this lag (they have their own equipment to do this) between 2x codecs in a sample site.
And finally, is there a sync clock between audio and video to ensure that there is minimum sync issues between video and audio. I note that the Data sheet for both codecs says under "IP Network Features" there is Dynamic playout and lip-sync buffering and under audio features it says "Active lip synchronization". Are these automatic adjustments or is there a way to adjust manually as well?

Assuming that the original message is addressed to a [email protected] and you have chosen to forward mail to an account at [email protected], the delivery time may vary widely, as .Mac mail forwards do not seem to what I would term 'instantaneous.' You should not count on any single or multi-link forwarding scheme to pick up mail, if those messages are time sensitive.

Product Search TIME lag

I have created a Z-search for Products based on the Plant to which the requisitioner belongs to.Now the number of Products is arnd 1000 due to which when I click on the START button,the time taken to display the List of Products is very high.
For this ,programmatically i have tried all the options to improve the data retrieval time from the DB,but is there any other way wherein this search time can be reduced?enhance the system performance???
Also,currently we are using the Integrated ITS and sooner will be switching to External ITS where this time lag will increase further....Can anyone help us on this???

I had a quick look at your Search help ABAP code.
Here is a resume of your custom logic:
1- read user attribute to get the PLANT
2- call BAPI_MATERIAL_GETLIST and BAPI_SERVICE_GET_LIST with user's search criteria and PLANT
3- get product for needed category from view bbpv_f4pr_gen
4- filter items out of category criteria
You should run an analysis in SE30 to see what is the most consumming step (2 or 3).
You can also simulate a run of BAPI_MATERIAL_GETLIST in R/3 with the same data to get the raw response time, and to deducte the time spent in establishing the RFC connection + network transfer time.
I think the step 3 with a select in bbpv_f4pr_gen for all entries in it_matnrlist1 can be really time consumming if you have many products. How many products do you have in SRM ?
This view is based on 8 tables !!!!!
You should replace it because you just need the product category (join on 2 tables only).
I think a Z function in R/3 doing all those steps more directly is more performant.
But first, as proposed from the beginning, run an SE30 analysis to detect the bottleneck of your custom ABAP, because it depends on your configuration (nb of SRM products, nb of R/3 materials, R/3 performance...).
Otherwise, we are talking for nothing.

Time lag to print labels

I am getting time lag when trying to print labels.When I tried to take print out of some labels they are not coming out immediately.And When I saw in the spooler it showed the status as 'Waiting.After some time I didnot understand what happened and they printed out.Initially I thought there was no communication between my system and printer at that time.But that is not true.Can any one suggest me why it happens like that.

when the print options dialog box pops up at the time of printing, check the chek box 'print immediately'.

I am a relative novice to labview and have a problem.
I have two waveforms being aquired; one from a flow sensor the other
form a gas analyser. There is a small delay between the flow signal
relative to the analyser (due to the transit time of the gas to the
analyser). What I want to do is compensate for this lime lag and then
plot the corrected waveform to plot an XY graph. This is essentialy a
phase delay that needs to be compensated for.
Can anyone help me solve my problem.

Here is a possible solution. The idea is to use the Get Waveform Subset funciton on the longer of the two functions. This way you return the exact subset that matches.

Time Lag using Timestamp - Generic Datasource

Hello,
I have a generic datasource running in production now. It uses the timestamp for the delta.
Currently the delta runs twice a day - once around 7 am and then again around 1 pm.
I have the upper limit set at 1800 seconds (30 minutes) and no lower limit however when I looked today at the 1 pm pull, the last set of records was pulled up to 9 am. I was surprised. I thought it should have been closer to 12 noon.
This data is constantly updated in ECC - for example. In a 30 minute window, the record count started at 1,966,206 and jumped to 1,966,297.
Has anyone else experienced this lag time? If so, how did you handle it.
I heard from one person that it could be because the application server time is different than the local time of entry. If that is true, how could I resolve that?
I would just like the deltas to bring in the data closer to the time of the pull.
