Time Lapse App Not Available

Hi all, I recently purchased an A6000 and was eager to install the time-lapse app from the play memories camera app store. Unfortunately, despite having access to the store and some apps, the time lapse and some others (it seems I only have access to the free apps...) do not appear... I purchased the camera in Dubai (UAE) and that is where I accessed the PMCA store... Could that be the reason? I would be surprised as the MEA website seemed to welcome the update of time-lapse V2.0 recently... Any idea on how to get the app? Thanks!

Time-lapse app Bricked my A7M2

I begrudgingly put my $10 down to buy the PlayMemories Time-lapse app (v. 3.12), which should have been incuded for free anyways, but it immediately bricked my relatively new A7M2 today. I first updated the body to the latest firmware (1.2) using a fresh battery, and all worked well. Then added the free Smart Remote Control App (v. 3.30) which also worked quite well. Then I added the free My Best Portrait app (v. 1.4) which also worked fine, although it's more of a gimmick. Then I purchased and installed Time-lapse and then immediately my camera won't work. It looks like it's trying to start up briefly a couple times then the screen goes blank, and it's totally unresponsive to all buttons, including the Menu and shutter buttons. I have installed a fresh battery and no change. Is there a way to remove this app and reset the camera? Remember, the screen is blank, so I won't be able to do it in the menus.

I see an old article on the Forum, “Time lapse freeze,” at http://community.sony.com/t5/Alpha-NEX-Cameras/Time-lapse-freeze/m-p/49781#M524 that might be related to the Time Lapse problem I encountered. In that earlier case, the freeze was attributed to having a conflict with the Soft Skin Effect setting (Menu -> Camera -> Soft Skin Effect). In my case, I installed “My Best Portrait” app and tested it with a few shots just moments before installing the “Time Lapse” app, so I bet this Portrait app uses the Soft Skin Effect, which could still have been “on” when I installed Time Lapse. Which then froze up my camera for a couple days. Just a guess. I enjoy being able to shoot photos again so I don’t plan trying to test my theory! Still, if you want to install Time Lapse and play it safe, you may want to avoid installing the “My Best Portrait” app or using the Soft Skin Effect. Also, start with a fully-charged genuine Sony battery before installing each app, just to be sure that’s not a factor. I plan to re-install Time-Lapse on a later date once I get past some critical shooting that I need to do. If I have any further problems with it, I’ll report back!

Why is the app not available for my device?

I've no problem using BT wifi on my device (Nook BNTV400) so why is the app not available for that device? It's not like the nook is proprietory, everything else I've tried to find in the play store works fine.
Is the apk available for download direct from bt?

if you can connect to btwifi without the app then I wouldn't bother trying to find the apk file
if you have an android smartphone then you can download the app and get the apk file to sideload on to your nook

Sorry to say but they have. And even advertised it on their home page as recently as today. You can view about 70 different channels on your iPhone or iPad. Anyone else out there who knows the answer?

Time lapse app?

There seem to be loads of time lapse apps generally but are there any that can import existing footage?
I'm making a movie in iMovie and its 4.30 mins long, but I want to shorten a segment so it shows a speeded up segment so the video is 30 seconds. The only way I can see how is to export it to iMovie on the mac (And that has meant having to change all the transitions) to finish it.

I have taken it back to the Apple store genius bar, but they say they don't see anything wrong. Well unless you use it all day and experience the problems when they happen, you wont see anything wrong. But there are lots wrong with it. But this would be the same store as I purchased the phone. And they backed up my old Iphone 4, but were not able to get anything to load back onto my new phone. So, I lost pretty much everything. But over time, some of my contacts have started showing up, although i am still missing over 800 of them.

Cloud tv Android App not available outside the USA

Why is the new cloud TV android app not available to people outside of the USA (Google play store restriction)?
As far as I can tell the iOS app can be installed by anyone so this seems unnecessary.
Also on the EU Toshiba website it mentions the cloud TV app for android.
On a separate note, does anyone know when the firmware update will be released which provides miracast support for the cloud TV platform?

It would appear the app is currently not available. Either contact Nokia Care for more information or wait a bit as it may be te app is getting an update..

You need to be approved the in-app too. To regular magazines send before to apple the in-apps then so after you publish the folio - with the same product ID

Apps not available in UK?

Certain applications that are being released in the US do not seem to be available on the UK iTunes Store. A few Apps that were available at 2.0 launch are still not available in the UK ("The item you've requested is currently not available in the UK Store"). Are applications only available in certain regions or does it take time for them to be available internationally, and if the latter, how long??

Quicktime movie rendering for time lapse does not work in CS4

Hey guys,
I m trying to render a time lapse video on PS CS4 and the process works well up until the export window. When i go there the first option under file options, quick time export, is unavailable( grayed out). The only available option is Image sequence. What do i have to do to enable the quicktime movie creation or any other movie format for that matter? Thank you.

For PS CS4, I assume that you have PS-Extended. Is that correct?

Do you have Apple's QT installed on that computer? If so, what version?

Time machine - disk not available

Dear guys,
i've installed osx server on an iMac in my lan, and I activate TimeMachine service on an usb Lacie 500GB.
On my macbook pro (osx lion) I've opened time machine, in disck menu window I've selected time machiene network disk on server and backup start without any problem.
On a second macbook pro (osx mountain lion) I've do same operations but when beckup start I have as error message "Back Up Disc Not Available". I have update disk name, disabled and re-enabled time machine, mount disk with cmd+k and changed disk in time machine but I still have the same problem.
On a third iMac (osx lion) i have the same error, seems that backup works only on my personal macbook. Can anyone help me? any ideas?

I have four macs using time machine on a single 1TB drive connected to Airport Extreme through USB. This morning I got the dreaded error-109 on Mac#1. This occured right after I had added Mac#4 to the bunch. While adding the Mac#4, I mounted my airport disk and then used time machine to select it for backup. I forgot to eject it after it had done the initial backup. That was when the error occured on the Mac#1.

Mac #4 MB C2D2006 SL 10.6.2
First I turned off TM on all of the Macs. I mounted the airport disk again, on Mac#1. I deleted the sparsebundle for Mac#1. I opened TM and selected the airport disk for backup. It is now backing up again on Mac#1. When it is finished, I will turn on TM once again on the other macs and see what happens. There is still a chunk of space left on the airport disk, about 680GB after all of the backups

Don't know about the app, but for what it's worth I use bPod and get the podcast feed.
