Time Management- Wrong Day Types coming when updating leave records

Dear Experts
Can anyone help me on what I should do to change my Day Type in Time management. The greatest challenge is that the system is not able to read the day type for Work/Paid. Despite that I have created my dailly working schedules, work schedule rule and my calender showing working and non-working periods, I still face a challenge when I want to give employees leave because the system says the whole period is a non working period. If I check in the employeeu2019s personal work schedule I notice that all the day types are Off/Paid hence that leave cannot be given especially if its vacation which does not count weekends and public holidays.
I am using the same customization as that I was using in the testing environment and was working fine but then in production, it is not. Where exactly can I check and change so that the day types are read correctly. When I run time evaluation, the system is accruing days normally but then it is picking Day type 1(one) in Table PSP

Verizon iPhone 4 restarts itself various times throughout the day since the last update?

For some reason, both my and my mom's iPhones restart at the same exact time. It's weird that I notice this, but since it's been going on for weeks now, I realized that both phones restart multiple times after midnight each night. My iPhone has been restarting itself more than my mom's, probably restarting itself twice every hour compared to hers twice a day. It's really frustrating because if I'm in the middle of something, it will restart out of nowhere and won't save my work. It keeps getting worse. I noticed this problem happen after the iOS5 update. I really don't want to take both phones in to Apple, for the nearest Apple store is miles away. Is there any way to solve this problem? It could just be coincidence... If you have the Weather Channel iPhone app installed, they released an update last week that contains a bug which keeps location services active all the time. It will drain the battery VERY quickly. You can either shut off location services for the app or delete it. It appears they have released an update to the app this morning that apparently fixes the problem (too late as far as I'm concerned. I'll never touch their app again after that fiasco).

The time is wrong and spinning wheel when hovering over time

Since upgrading Macbook Air to Mountain Lion, the time is often incorrect and I get the spinning wheel when I hover over the top right of the screen (battery, date, time).

There may be an menu item installed from the previous OS X that is not compatible with 10.8. Open System Preferences and select Users & Groups. Select your account and then select Login Items. There may be items listed here with a yellow alert icon. If so, hightlight the item and press the Delete key on your keyboard.
If that does not help, or there is no item with the warning symbol, then try removing all items from the Login Items list and see if that helps.

Somehow firefox now opens with my windows mail. Each time I enter my password it asks if I want to save it so I don't have to retype my login and password each time. I hit yes and when I leave firefox it doesn't keep my password. I would like to either

I recently went to open my windows live mail,which normally opens because it has my login and password saved. Now it opens in firefox and I have to retype my login and password everytime I open my mail. I would like when I open my mail not to have to retype my login and password as this is why I have it set up in the original windows mail anyway. So I have attempted to live with this problem by adjusting the options to save my password and when I close out of firefox and try to reopen it later in the day I have to retype my login and password again.

Updating leave records through an upload program

Dear Friends
In our organization, 24th December 2010 has been defined as a holiday in the holiday calandar. Company has now decided to make this a half a day and NOT to change the Holiday Calandar.
For the balance half a day employees are requested to apply leave. Since it is a full day holiday in the calandar, system does not allow to apply leave through and it gives an error message as 'You are trying to apply leave for a non working day'
Kindly let us know how we can skip this error message and upload into infotype 2001 directly (back-end)

3.select ur absence type and view mode.maintain 4 hrs if halfday in the absence hours for the
type of leave.
(incase if LOP,create one halfday unpaid leave for that scenario using abasence valuation node
under payroll)

and now try in pa30 ,it is taking for that day

Attendance type for training in negative time management

Hi,
We are using negative time management. Attendance Type T-Training is created. I have specified in the integration switch PLOGI-TIME 1 and specified the attendance type in SEMIN-APART. But even when I firmly book a business event, the attendance type is not stored in the attendances of the employees who are booked to the training event.
Is the attendance stored automatically when the business event is firmly booked in negative time management? Or this is applicable only to the Positive Time Management?

In "Specify Attendance Types" node under Integration with Time mgmt in TEM node in SPRO. Kindly check the following points:
PLOGI,,TIME,,1,,Integration switch: Training and Event Mgmt/ Time
SEMIN     AINST     "value as maintained in Time Managment" for Attendance type for instructor in T554S
SEMIN     APART   "value as maintained in Time Managment" for Attendance type for instructor in T554S
SEMIN     TIMEP    According to your requirement
kindly check the value for the above two field under
Time Management --> Time Data recording and Administration --> Attendance/Actual Working Time --> Define Attendance Type
and check the value maintained Trainee Attendance and Trainer Attendance. Following is maintained as default.
01     0420     Trainee Attendance
01     0425     Trainer Attendance

ESS MSS Time Management: scenario without clock times (start/end) possible?

Implementing (negative) SAP HCM Time management with the WD Leave Request application we found that the clock times are always shown, for instance when requesting leave, scrolling over the leave calendar and in the leave approver's webdynpro.
The problem is that we are actually not interested in the begin and end-TIMES (hour started and hour ended) of any leave, other than the start and end DAY and the total number of hours taken off.
Is there a system setting where we can 'hide' the time/hours-fields in the entire leave request application (without having to analyze every single webdynpro gui elements etc.)? Anyone having experience with this kind of requirement? What did you do?

Given what you have to date this is one suggestion (more than 1 way to do this). I'm doing this from memory as I don't have system in front of me at the moment but should be spot on.
These steps are all sequential in SPRO under Time Evaluation > Without Clock Time > Time Data Processing
1). Create a new time type in V_T555A, call it ZOT1 - Overtime or whatever you like.
2). Define a Processing Type against your overtime attendance type V_554S_F - "P/T" Field, make it 09 for example
3). Next assign a processing type (the '09' you assigned to the attendance) and time type (ZOT1) in table T555Y
       - create a new entry in the table for your PSG & time type determination Group now using your P/T
       - Now in "PTyp 3" field which is used for assigning time types from IT2002 enter a Ptyp 3 of 'M' for overtime
       - In the "TTyp 3" field enter your new time type.
This will now generate a new time type and processing type TIP entry and leave your ordinary hours in tact.
Lastly you can define a rule in V_T510S for this particular time type to generate a overtime wage type.
There are other ways also, and maybe someone will post an alternative way - there is no 1 way only to do something in SAP.

Time management status 0 means - Employee's actual times are not recorded, and his/her time data is not accounted using the time evalulation program. here the time wgetypes are formed by payroll.
Time management status 9 means - Employees for whom only exceptions to the work schedule are recorded. In this case, the employees' actual times are not recorded, but they do participate in time evaluation.ie (.Evaluation of planned times.)

I even tried some hints posted for ios6 (turn off Ipad, holding home button and plugging in power cord at the same time and then releasing the home button)
I did manage to get a different screen that shows the itunes icon and a power cord, but nothing happens.

You were on the right track. You got the connect to iTunes screen and you ended to use iTujes to restore your iPad. Try recovery mode again.
Recovery Mode Instructions
Disconnect the USB cable from the iPad, but leave the other end of the cable connected to your computer's USB port.
Turn off iPad: Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red slider appears, then slide the slider. Wait for iPad to turn off.
If you cannot turn off iPad using the slider, press and hold the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons at the same time. When the iPad turns off, release the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons.
While pressing and holding the Home button, reconnect the USB cable to iPad. When you reconnect the USB cable, iPad should power on.
Continue holding the Home button until you see the "Connect to iTunes" screen. When this screen appears you can release the Home button.
If necessary, open iTunes. You should see the recovery mode alert that iTunes has detected an iPad in recovery mode.
Use iTunes to restore iPad.

Error when updating a multivalued property that contains nested types

we cannnot update a CMS content that contains a multivalued property composed of nested types.
our CMS content is made of a custom type "t4" and contains the following properties :
- titre of type "String"
- compose of type "t1" where t1 is a CMS type containing the property titre of type "String" and doc of type "Binary".

I was able to reproduce this issue in the beta also. The issue has since been fixed. For the time being, it looks like you can just clear (delete) that particular value and re-add it w/ the updated binary.

Sap Hr Time Management u2013 Time Types

Hi friends,
I am working on overtime. Pcru2019s TO01 & TO02.
When I am running the RPTIME00 program, the time type of overtime i.e. 0040 are not seen in the ZES or SALDO tables. I had booked more than planned working time for over time.
As for the overtime hrs booked the ZL table is populated.
Why the time type 0040 is not storing the Overtime values in ZES & SALDO Tables?

In the PCR processing of the log it is sending the values to the 0040 TT. But the values are not displayed in TES<, ZES, SALDO.
Why it is not picking or checking the time type is avalible in the table V_T555A & Not storing the values any of the above tables?

Amazing steps you've done so far! The great news is this is very unlikely an issue with your iPhone.
I've run into a similar issue lately as well. I narrowed it down to one song that was causing 30 songs not to sync. I removed the song from the sync list (unchecked it) and all 29 songs were able to sync.
You may be running into a similar issue. This may be a problem with this version of iTunes, an issue with one song or a group of songs; hard to know for sure. It's important to narrow down and isolate the cause. Most imporantly get that music back on there!
The way to narrow down the casue add just a few songs at a time (even 1, just to get that first sync finished). Manually syncing is what you'll need here.
Plug in your iPhone, on the Summary screen (shows a picture of your iPhone, the iOS version, Restore iPhone....; etc). Under the Options area at the bottom choose to Manually Manage Videos and Music then choose Apply in the lower right. The music that's on your iPhone now should be removed from your iPhone now. You're now able to sync music manually.
The link below explains how to drag the songs from the iTunes library on the computer on to your iPhone which will start the sync. Add just one song just to see if you can get 1 of those hundreds of songs on there. If you can, awesome! Keep adding until you find the song or group of songs that are causing this issue.

I have now done pretty much every suggestion that even vaguely applies in the various helpful link provided. Thanks for the ongoing help. =)
I have managed to get FireFox's start-up memory usage down to about 100,000K, however it appears that memory usage keeps creeping up the longer FireFox is open. (It seems to top out around 500,000K.) And I'm not talking open for many hours or days - but rather for minutes and possibly up to a couple hours. (Based on how long I've been fiddling with all this so far.)
On the plus side, it does not appear GreaseMonkey is the culprit since with it active or disabled this memory creep still occurs. Although having GreaseMonkey enabled definitely increases the rate of memory creep. Though once it has creeped up to 150,000+K, disabling GM does not make it drop back down to the starting 100,000K.
I should point out I run a MacBook Pro and use Bootcamp to partition the hard drive and run it as a Windows 7 PC about half the time. I am running it literally as a PC or, alternately, as a Mac depending on which hard drive I choose to load. (I'm not "windowing" it.) This problem exists regardless of whether I am using the PC or the Mac. These repairs have been made currently on the PC side, and I will attempt them all again on the Mac side. I find it odd that this enormous memory drain has occurred on 3 different computers at the same time. (The two "halves" of my home laptop as well as the PC at my work place.)
