Time on emails

The time on when I'm getting my emails about 4 hours off. How do I fix it?

Change over to the Lite version of Xfinity Connect from the default Full version. To do so, from the Inbox page, go to Preferences>>>>>General>>>>>>>>>Version. Make the change. Hit the Back button, and then click on Email. Then click on "Timezones" and put in whatever is correct for you. Then you can go back to the Full version if you want to.

Don't know any 'automatic' way - but, i have "Fetch Headers only" set on each of my 'secondary accounts'.
With varying internet service, manual "Get Messages" is probably the "Best Practice" because you will know how good your service is before you even try.
maybe set "Check for new messages every 'n' minutes" to different times
(3 minutes, 6 minutes, etc.) on each 'secondary' account.

Is there a way to get Requisition submitted Date and Time in Service Initiation Emails.

Unfotunately, there is not a namespace that will return Submitted Date for a requisition or service. You can, however, get the start date:
#Requisition.StartedDate# or #Service.Requisition.StartedDate#

CSV file for users who have one-time password email address

I am trying to extract the list of users who have one-time password email address in FIM or users who have registered with one-time password reset authentication workflow. I need to get their email addresses in CSV file.

The script queries a WorkFlow called "Password Reset AuthN Workflow" and returns its ObjectID, then uses it to do a new query searching for "Users" with these parameters:
AuthN WorkFlow Registered = ObjectID of "Password Reset AuthN Workflow"
The script exports these details to a CSV.
Also, all OTP email addresses should be stored in the "msidmOneTimePasswordEmailAddress" attribute in the FIM Portal.

If you aren't receiving the email to your rescue email account (and you've checked the spam folder on it as well as the inbox) then you will need to contact iTunes Support / Apple in your country to get the questions reset.

Hi,
The following command can help you to delet them. To show them, you can use the TargetMailbox and TargetFolder parameters to copy them to a specific folder.

Use search-mailbox: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dd298173(v=exchg.150).aspx with -deletecontent parameter. Your account should have Discovery Management and Mailbox Import Export permissiins to perform multi-mailbox searches.

1. you would need to depend on some third party tool or you would need to do develop some script or EWS program to do that.
2. You can use Search-Mailbox with DeleteContent and -SearchQuery “Received:> $(’01/01/2000')

There are a lot of posts in the forums today with people having problems with iMessage. There was also a published outage yesterday, so it's possible there are still some issues that may be impacting you both.
I would just wait it out - I'm sure it will be sorted out soon.

Wrong time with emails

It just started recently. The times on emails our wrong but not the time on the iPhone. It seemed like it started when i implemented IMAP account through gmail and set them up on the phone. Do you know how to fix this?

One thing to check out.
On the iphone go to settings -> general -> date & time.
Make sure time zone is set correct.
If so, turn off time zone support and turn off set time automatically.
Make sure the time is set correct on the iphone.
Turn the iphone off with the sleep/wake button on top of the iphone.
Then try email again.

Help....I have an iphone and 2 ipads is there a way that once a delete an email on my iphone it would delete is on the ipads. I feel I spend all my time deleting emails.

Get a IMAP-type mail service rather than POP-type. Deleting from one device will delete from all.
An alternative with a POP service is to go to the browser interface to Mail and delete the messages before they are downloaded to your devices.

Time Machine / Email help?

I am hoping somebody is able to help as I am totally baffled by an issue I am having.
I purchased a new Macbook Pro today so decided before I formatted my old one, I would make a time machine image so I could transfer the data straight across to my new machine. I thought this would be simple but I have stumbled across an issue.
I plugged my external HDD into my new Macbook and opened time machine to transfer my files. It advised me it was not set up on the new machine, so I went ahead and set it up, this made a new image of my new Macbook onto my external device.
When I open time machine it will only open it for this mac and there is no way to choose the time machine backup from my old mac which is extremely frustrating.
Now, I know you can access files without using time machine by openening the HDD and browsing the files, or browse other time machine disks. I used this method to download all my files with no issues at all but what I really need is my mail folder from my old Macbook.
I located the library folder but within there is no 'mail' folder. I used terminal to unhide files but this seemed to have no effect on the external HDD.
If I plug the external HDD back in to the old mac it again tells me no time machine is set up on this product and wants to make a third image.
Please help as these emails are vital!

Today this happened again: lost all the emails on MobileMe account. This time I am sure there was no interference with checking mail from the office or any other computer other than iPod Touch.
Switched on email. Opening an email it got stuck and after a minute everything in the mobilme inbox disappeared.
I use the iPod Touch to check email so now and then. Up until now no surprises.
Start to feel very uncomfortable that this can happen at random. Fortunately I back up on GTech external harddrive, but nevertheless. Any clue?
(I have posted this message wrongfully under Mac OS X v10.4 Tiger, it should have been Mac OS X v10.5.7 Leopard. Do not know how to move this to the right forum.)
