Time Operations and Infotype 2002

Is there an operation to reterive attendacne hours in infotype 2002 .
Currently we are using HRS but it fetches from Planned working time .(HRS=PNUM.
This is used for overtime calculation (negative time manegment )
Alos if there isany alternate std Operation pls do let me know .

The problem here is we need to get the hours from the attendance hours field ..
Example currently its picking from planned working time liek 08.00 am to say to 19.30 == 11.50
But it has a unpaid break of 1 hrs ..hence it shoudl pick up 10.5 which is not happening .
the attendance hours field in Infotype 2002 shows teh correct hours of 10.5

Time evaluation, Time operation HRS and IT2006

Dear All!
I have to research the relationship of Time evaluation ( I mean Time Schema) and IT 2006.
This current logic run as below:
HRS=FE60C HRS/12    ADDDB9T11 ADDMB9T11.
I guess HRS=FE60C is retrieve the number of subtype 60 in IT 2006. But which is exactly meaning of this command?
But I don't know the way to post the data in time type 9T11 to another subtype in IT 2006.
Please help me to understand 2 points above.
btw: Who else has the full document a bout Time Operation HRS, please share to me. It's really complicated operation with a lot of funtions.

Since I updated Firefox I have to constantly re log-in to my Yahoo account such as email. Every time I leave the page I have to log-in to get back into it. I also run OPERA and I do not have that problem with them. I stay logged in. Any suggestions?

I have windows Vista and have the updated version of Firefox. I also can run OPERA and LUNASCAPE with no problems. When running Firefox I have to constant re log-in to my Yahoo account every time I leave the page. For example: I log in to check my email on Yahoo and then leave my email page. Then when I return to recheck my email I have to log in all over again. I can't stay logged in. If I run my OPERA browser I stay logged in for days without having to sign in all over again.

What's the precise text of the error message, please? (There's a few different ones I can think of that you might be getting.)

The Time Capsule has a defective power supply and it needs to be exchanged as soon as possible. Soon, you will not be able to power it back up at all after it shuts down.
Take the Time Capsule to an Apple Store, if you have one near you, or contact Apple Support to get the process started.

I have a western digital hard disk that I am using with time machine and I wanted to do a recovery of my operating system but when I do it i'm not able to see my time machine savings because it needs a password to be activated what can I do ?

Attendance infotype (2002)

Hi,
When I am creating any attendance in infotype 2002 with number of working hours. System is automatically generating start time and end time in the info type based on daily work schedule times.
Example : Att type "ATTN-Attendance Hours(AWART)" with 5 hours(STDAZ). System is generating Start time 8:30 (BEGUZ) end times 13:30 (ENDUZ).
How to stop the generate this automatic generation.

As we are using ESS for attendance, so whenever an employee makes a clock in & out correction from portal it should automatically update in Infotype 2002-Attendance, which is not happening. So please suggest a solution its urgent.

Yes, your right system evaluate time business based on Time events also. Some tipical clients based on booking attendance only they will calculate different payments with integration of Other modules i.e CO, PM, CS and SD etc. In this kind of business process they (Clients) will consider Time events just monitoring purpose. Employee/Time Admin needs to update along with project/activity type/ WBS element etc along with Attendance throgh Time manager Work place/CATS/ESS/MSS.
Who has post this threat has asked required to update IT2002 also.. Please go through Starting onwards..As contributor i (We) need to provide Information relating to Business process without unnecessary discusions Becasue it would be useful for Others who are facing same kind of issues in future.

SWEHR3 0007 INS but event triggers at any operation on Infotype

    I'm calling an event on the INS operation of infotype 0007 - Planned working time.
    The whole entry is in configuration is
       Object type: P
       Infotype: 0007
       Subtype : Blank
       Update Op. INS
       Activity : Blank
       Object Type : BUS1065
       Event : HIRED
    This configuration is done in SWEHR3 and workflow is getting triggered.
    The problem is that even when delimiting infotype, It triggers the event and workflow, which should not happen.
    Is that any solution to this...?

I have tried to download Photoshop Elements 10 three times now and it has crashed every time. I checked my settings and the format on my computer is Max OS Extended. Time Machine and Upgrading to SL

Hello all,
Sorry for the amateur questions, but I'm looking for some guidance on using Time Machine when upgrading from Leopard to Snow Leopard on my mid-2009 MBP.
I tried upgrading to SL months ago when it first came out. I did not use Time Machine at that time, because I did not want to reformat my external drive and risk losing all my files (music, videos, documents, etc. - I had just switched to Mac from PC). As a result, I lost some stuff when I upgraded (iTunes purchases, some applications, calendars, contacts, etc.). I had back ups of the important stuff on my external, so no real harm done - just a moderate inconvenience. But SL caused some major lagging when playing iTunes or using the internet so I downgraded back to Leopard, again losing the same sort of material along the way. This time Apple would not restore my iTunes purchases, so I was a little more bitter about it. The computer has been running great back on Leopard, but now I want to try upgrading again. I'm hoping to do a clean install, erasing the hard drive, etc. to avoid glitchy or lagging operation - and this time, without losing all my stuff. So here I go, a few basic questions:
1. If I use Time Machine to back up my data before the upgrade, will I be able to restore it to SL and use it just like before? If so, will that include all my iTunes purchases, contacts and applications, etc.?
2. I keep copies of all my videos and music in separate folders on my external hard drive. Will using Time Machine make this redundant? Can I delete those duplicate files for space?
3. How difficult is a clean install? If I have a Time Machine back up on my external, and I follow the on-screen instructions, will I be okay?

1. You can use Migration Assistant to migrate your Home folder, third-party applications, network prefs, etc. from your backup. The Setup Assistant will provide the option post-installation if you do a clean install - erase the drive then install SL.
Alternatively, you can simply upgrade from Leopard so you don't need to restore anything from a backup. If you upgrade install then be sure you have done the following first:
Repairing the Hard Drive and Permissions
Boot from your OS X Installer disc. After the installer loads select your language and click on the Continue button. When the menu bar appears select Disk Utility from the Installer menu (Utilities menu for Tiger and Leopard.) After DU loads select your hard drive entry (mfgr.'s ID and drive size) from the the left side list. In the DU status area you will see an entry for the S.M.A.R.T. status of the hard drive. If it does not say "Verified" then the hard drive is failing or failed. (SMART status is not reported on external Firewire or USB drives.) If the drive is "Verified" then select your OS X volume from the list on the left (sub-entry below the drive entry,) click on the First Aid tab, then click on the Repair Disk button. If DU reports any errors that have been fixed, then re-run Repair Disk until no errors are reported. If no errors are reported click on the Repair Permissions button. Wait until the operation completes, then quit DU and return to the installer. Now restart normally.
If DU reports errors it cannot fix, then you will need Disk Warrior and/or Tech Tool Pro to repair the drive. If you don't have either of them or if neither of them can fix the drive, then you will need to reformat the drive and reinstall OS X.
2. TM is not a storage utility nor can you simply access files as you would on your external drive. TM is an incremental backup system. If you wish to keep your data on a separate drive, then continue to do so. Get a separate drive to use exclusively for your TM backups. That drive needs to have about twice the capacity of the drive or drives backed up. You can use TM to backup the data on your external drive as well as on the internal drive. Backups are never redundant, but redundant backups can prevent data loss.
3. A clean install is simple - erase the drive then install. Since we have no way to know how things are now, there's no way to know if you will "be okay."

1. You did not get an error message telling you that your iPhoto library was getting full. You got a message telling you that your HD was getting full, right?
OS X needs about 10 gigs of hard drive space for normal OS operations - things like virtual memory, temporary files and so on.
Without this space your Mac will slow down as the OS hunts for space on the disk, files will be fragmented, also slowing things down, apps will crash and the risk of data corruption - that is damage to your files, photos, music - increases exponentially.
Your first priority is to make more space on that HD. Nothing else can be done until you do.
Purchase an external HD and move your Photos and Music to it. Both iPhoto and iTunes can run perfectly well with the Library on an external disk.
Your Library has been damaged from being run on an overfull disk.
How much free space on it now?

I am sure that this question has been asked one way or another but I can't seem to find the exact answer.
I would like to back up my Mac HD with the Time Capsule AND another hard drive essentially to create two backups. Should one fail, I still have another copy as a precaution. The Time Capsule will be my primary back up because my external hard drive is usually switched off and will only be turned on from time to time to perform "less frequent" backups.
With Time Capsule AND the external hard drive on, will Time Machine just update the backup on the external hard drive without becoming confused with the other copy on Time Capsule? In other words, can Time Machine distinguish between two different Time Machine Backup files and bring them up to date accordingly?
I understand there is an archive function on the Time Capsule, which would also serve the purpose. However, I am wondering if there is another way.

I don't think it's possible to configure Time Machine to back up to two locations without modifying its settings frequently.
You might consider using that external drive to hold a bootable backup. You can create such a thing with either of the utilities SuperDuper! or Carbon Copy Cloner. If you pay the registration fee for SuperDuper! (~US$28), there's a mode where it will back up only what has changed, which makes the backup operation run quicker. (Carbon Copy Cloner may offer a similar feature.)
