Time Out by select on DD04L inner join DD04T

Hello,
I just installed ERP 2005. After the import of a language package (SMLT, IT, FR, ES) I get some problem.
If I logon with EN or IT (and I think with any language other than DE) many transaction get a Time Out error in the function module DDIF_FIELDINFO_GET by the following selection:

That is, the ERP is using sequential read instead of direct read.
Any idea is welcomed.

ST05 gives me this SQL command: (more than 500 sec!)

I executed it in SQL Studio and I got also a big execution time.
But if I try
SELECT "ROLLNAME" , "DOMNAME" , "HEADLEN" , "SCRLEN1" , "SCRLEN2" , "SCRLEN3" FROM "DD04L" WHERE T_00 . "ROLLNAME" = 'VAL_TEXT' AND T_00 . "AS4LOCAL" = 'A'
I get the result in 1 ms.
Is there something wrong in the inner join?
What does it mean the operation "REOPEN"?
How can I see from ST05 if an index has been used?

and I had also chenge the select query.

Syntax

Effect
If the addition FOR ALL ENTRIES is specified before the language element WHERE, then the components comp of the internal table itab can be used as operands when comparing with relational operators.
The internal table itab must have a structured line type and the component comp must be compatible with the column col.
The logical expression sql_cond of the WHERE condition can comprise various logical expressions by using AND and OR. However, if FOR ALL ENTRIES is specified, there must be at least one Comparison with a column of the internal table itab, which can be specified either statistically or dynamically (Release 6.40 and higher). In a statement with a SELECTstatement with FOR ALL ENTRIES, the addition ORDER BY can only be used with the addition PRIMARY KEY.
The whole logical expression sql_cond is evaluated for each individual line of the internal table itab. The resulting set of the SELECT statement is the union of the resulting sets from the individual evaluations. Duplicate lines are automatically removed from the resulting set. If the internal table itab is empty, the whole WHERE statement is ignored and all lines in the database are put in the resulting set.
Notes
In Release 6.10 and higher, the same internal table can be specified after FOR ALL ENTRIES and after INTO.
The addition FOR ALL ENTRIES is only possible before WHERE conditions of the SELECT statement.

Hi,
You can get all records first and then LOOP AT Internal table and use COLLECT statement to sum up required column.
This will be a better idea than trying to use SUM in SELECT with JOINS.

I need to fetch data from two tables, I used inner join but I am not able to fetch the data in some fields can any one tell me what is wrong in this select querry.

Now, the issue is:
Please note that declaration for INT_COLL_ORD has a field AUART, which is used in further parts of program (see the statement just above)
But, since neither VBAP nor VBEP contains AUART field, it cannot be fetched through the QUERY#2. So this value is not populated into INT_COLL_ORD through SELECT Query.
Since this field is used in later part of program & that the internal table has no value for this field, it dumps!!
How to include this value into the INT_COLL_ORD?

BB Torch (unlocked). Cant setup email (times out when selected) via Virgin Mobile

Hi Everyone
I have a BB Torch 9800.
It was originally registered on the Rogers network, and everything worked fine.
I recently unlocked the phone, and switched to Virgin (ie new SIM card), including a data plan.
Im not able to setup an email account now.
When I go into Setup->Email Accounts->Internet Mail Account, it says "Check for updates'.
After a couple minutes it will timeout saying it can't connect.
In searching the fourms, I came across Host Routing Table settings. My HRT has "* No entries *'. I have "Register Now", which tells me the Registration message was sent, however I havent had a response back.
Im also wondering if this phone is still "registered" with Rogers somehow?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

From what I can see in the official Download Portal, Virgin Mobile Canada indeed does support the 9800...you can double check here:

If a carrier lists an OS package for a specific BB model number, then the carrier supports that model, and everything should be fine.
But, that is step 5...what about the things included in steps 1 through 4? Those, of course, are all steps...requiring the success of a prior step before considering proceeding to the next step. So, for instance, if your voice services aren't yet working from Virgin, then you should not even be thinking yet about getting data to work.

Normally, I suggest the following steps, in order (again requiring success before proceeding), even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2 each should result in a message coming to your BB...please wait for that before proceeding to the next step):
1) Register HRT

Please wait for one "registration" message to arrive to your Messages app
2) Delete and Resend Service Books

3) Batt Pull Reboot
Anytime random strange behavior or sluggishness creeps in, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the back cover and pull out the battery. Wait about a minute then replace the battery and cover. Power up and wait patiently through the long reboot -- ~5 minutes. See if things have returned to good operation. Like all computing devices, BB's suffer from memory leaks and such...with a hard reboot being the best cure.
Unfortunately, we already know that your BB fails on step 1 here (register HRT)...which then precludes moving on to step 2. Which leads me back to the prior steps...did steps 1 through 4 all result positively?

Sometimes yes, sometimes no...when in doubt, the steps above are the way to force it.

If it does not work with what is above, then the next logical step would be to contact the carrier for formal assistance...after all, it's their network with which you are attempting to get your BB to communicate.

Do I login into BB to do this (ie I found this link https://bis.na.blackberry.com/html which I tried logging into, but it says my device isnt registered on the network. It told me to setup my Host Routing Tabels to fix that, which I tried, but hasnt worked yet).
There is more than one way to accomplish many of these things. But, until your BB properly registers to the carrier network (HRT), attempting to go any further is pointless.
With all of that, we're back to steps 1 through 4 of what I previously sent...if those are not completed properly, then nothing else will be useful.

The process time between INNER JOIN and join in WHERE clause

as u know, there are 2 kind of join
SELECT *
FROM tableA
INNER JOIN tableB
ON tableA.ID= tableB.ID
WHERE ....
and
SELECT *
FROM tableA, tableA
WHERE tableA.ID = tableB.ID
AND ....
I find the first one is faster in MS SQL Server.
But i test them in oracle and i find that it is the same. Is it correct?

Who knows why SQL Server shows different timings. Perhaps it's just cos it's not good at knowing that the two things are the same.
The only difference in timing as far as Oracle is concerned is the time it takes to parse the syntax of the query, which will be nanoseconds. The execution time of two equivalent queries will not differ based on the factor of the syntax used.

Hi..
1) Try to make Some of the Fields such as BUKRS , GJAHR as PARAMETERS so that ROWS are restrited mostly.
2) Make fields like BLDAT and BUDAT as OBLIGATORY if possible.
3) And in the SELECT query add the PACKAGE SIZE addition.

Yes u can use where clause in select statement with inner join.

What is the best programming, putting selection in the inner join or in where clause. Below is some sample code that works but wondering if C~statu='X' would have been better in the Where part of the statement in stead as part of the inner join? Maybe don't need the Where in this select statment just code in the inner joins?
