Time Received 2 hours off

My Mac time is correct, but the time received in the window of Mac Mail is incorrect. It's 2 hours behind. The day is correct. The time on the email itself is correct.
What is causing this and is there a way to correct it?
Thanks.

Have you read my first post?
Again, the date & time that Mail shows in the Date Received column is the date & time that appears in the latest (topmost) Received message header (which you can see doing View > Message > Long Headers), not the date & time that appears in the Date message header, and is set by the incoming mail server.
If the date & time that appears in the latest (topmost) Received message header is wrong, that’s the incoming mail server’s fault and Mail has no bearing on it. If that’s the problem, it must be fixed at the server by whoever is responsible for that mail server...

  • Since Leopard upgrade Mail show received time 1 hour off

Upgrade to Leopard a few days ago. Now Mail shows email receipt time 1 hour off.
Example: I just sent myself a message at 5:19pm. Received it showing 6:19pm.
My system is set to CST. Why is Mail showing the wrong time and how is it fixed?

The same mail received in Entourage shows the correct time. It always showed the correct time in Mail until I upgraded to Leopard two days ago.
Thus, it does have something to do with the software not the server.
I can replicate it over and over very easily.

  • Date and time 12 hours off

The date and time are 12 hours off on all my Idevices (Ipads and I pod touches), YET the time is correct on my Iphone and all my computers and my router.  The date/time are set to generate automatically.  When I turn this feature 'off' the time immediate changes 12 hours back to the correct time.  However, synchronized events on my calendars (say, with gmail calendar) remain 12 hours off.  I have no idea what is going on.  I had thought this may have something to do with my wi-fi and/or router, but the 'automatic' date/time change regardless of whether wi-fi is even on or off on the devices.  Also, I can't figure out why the Iphone would have the right time when the other devices all have the time off by 12 hours.  Any ideas

Thanks, but something is still wrong.  I have tried to set the date and time manually and this does fix the general time on the Idevice; however, programs such as weather and the calendar still show events 12 hours when they synch to gmail calendar. So something about the Idevice is still telling the device it is 12 hours off even though I have set the date/time manually.

  • Some times 1 hour off on phone

I have set a calendar in iCal with events until the end of 2006. I sync'd them all to my Sony Ericsson Z520a. All the times past a certain date in very late Oct. are shifted 1 hour later on the phone, but as I set them in iCal. But everything's fine before that. Any ideas why this is? It makes so sense to me whatsoever.
    Thanks.

Your problem is to do with Daylight Savings. When the switch back to 'regular' time happens (in the UK this is on Oct 29th this year) it's the same as moving across time zones - which is why an event past that threshold is going to seem shifted by an hour.
You can verify that all is OK, but switching your phone manually to non-DST and all the events should show their correct times.
(I suspect that you are not using Time Zones in iCal - which is why the events do not show a shift there.)

  • Firefox shows times of e-mails and other sites 3 hours off of actual time, how do I fix it?

My emails show timestamps as 3 hours later than their actual sent/received times. It never bothered me before but now I am in an online course and the times are the hours off on it as well, so If I were to finish my homework at 9:15pm it would say I completed it at 12:15pm, making the assignment late. I see no way for me to change the time on your software so I don't know how to fix this problem, help?

Firefox uses the time setting in the Operating System. Web apps usually display the time of their local server. You may be 3 time zones away from the server where you are submitting your homework, or two time zones and the offset for DST vs. standard time.

  • Any instance of time being displayed through Firefox is 5 hours off (+) (IE Comcast call time logs, every page print out, etc). IE and all other browers display correctly as is all of the time settings on my computer. Please help.

Any instance of time being displayed when using Firefox show the time off by +5 hours. I am in Phila so use EST. Every other setting is correct in computer. For example time call log displayed from Comcast and every page footer shows time +5 hours. I have not found anything helpful in searching the web. I always check after each upgrade to Firefox but problem persists.

Cor-el... The issue was in the autoexec.bat file. I did have the TZ set there. Removed and all is well.
    Thanks Much.

  • SPWorkflow.Created date is two hours off actual server time?

    Hi,
I have a list with a workflow that starts on item created.
Can anyone tell me why the readonly field: SPWorkflow.Created (and SPWorkflow.Modified) -is exactly two hours off the actual server time? In my case WF created at 11:00 hours, the new workflow created time is 09:00 hours?
    That's all, and thank you.

    Hi deepunair,
    Thank you for answering!
Central admin Regional Settings are the correct timezone - and the clock on both the web server and the SQL server are syncronized!?

  • Lync 2010 Archiving IM log time record is 6 hours off

When I run a export of the IM logs in Lync 2010 with the following command.
    Export-CSArchivingData -DBInstance lync-sql\rtc -StartDate 2/3/2014 -EndDate 2/5/2014 -OutputFolder "C:\logs" -Useruri "[email protected]"
I get the log file but all the time stamps are 6 hours off. I though oh we are in CST the server is set to UTC. Thats not the case the front end server and sql servers are all set to the correct time zones. I did see an article that referenced in OCS 2007
that the database time stamp was off. does anyone know how I can change the database time zone from UTC to CST?
    Thank you
    Kirt

I know that when your query the database directly it will return times in UTC, so maybe apply an offset to the output file to correct your current timezone.

  • Time stamp on reply emails is 3 hours off

Does anybody know why when I reply to an email and have the orginal email go along the original email's time stamp is off by 3 hours. Usually 3 hours later than it was actually written. This has happen on many emails. I've try to check the settings in the mail preferences, but can't seem to find a topic window that talks about the time stamp. When I check I dater and time in the main preferences its correct. NYC zone. Anyone know why?

I just came to the conclusion that the sender's devise is off on its time setting. I just tried an experiment. I forwarded an email after (test setting) my clock to Rome, Italy time, while I'm in NYC. The time stamp of my email was Rome time. I switch back to NYC time and forward that forward to another email address of my and now its stamp NYC time. Does anybody disagree or have another answer?

I Have the same issue on a brand new iPad mini 2. My battery is only lasting up to 5 hours. I went on chat with Apple last night and they said my battery is fine and its a Safari issue. I'm literally losing 1% every 3-4 minutes. I tried recalibrating my battery, signing out of iCloud, shutting off all locations, turning off background app refresh, restoring network settings, restoring all, and finally restoring from iTunes with no luck. This is just awful. I got this iPad so I could use it on my long flight for a trip I have coming up, and unfortunately, it's not going to last that long, plus I'm concerned about how many times i will be recharging my battery because of this since battery's do have a life cycle dependent on the number of charges. This is frustrating and needs to be fixed ASAP and addressed by Apple.
By the way, Apple told me to bring my device to the Apple Store because it's still under warranty. That's great and all, but I'm going to waste my time if there is no fix for this issue.
Ok so you want Apple to address the problem, but yet you don't want to take it to them just in case they can't fix it? What if they can fix it? Complaining here certainly won't fix it.

  • Has there been an update or fix to the digital signature time zone off set being one hour off?

Has there been an update or fix to the digital signature time zone off set being one hour off? I have seen that in the forum that this was identified as a bug back in June 2012. Any updates on this as it is still occurring in my version of Acrobat X with all updates applied. Thanks.

  • Capture time is one  hour off

My "capture time" as displayed in the right metadata panel is one hour earlier than it actually happened. I date my digital camera photos by date time and Lightroom displays the capture time an hour earlier than the file date time or the capture date time displayed in other tools, for example, Bridge.
I noticed this from the beginning but it didn't sink in that it's that way for photos from digital cameras as well as these scans I'm trying to get the date correct on.
Anyone have any idea about what's going on?

LR is using the EXIF 'Date Time Original' field to sort by Capture Time .
LR automatically displays Date Time Original minus 1 hour from any Date within a period of Daylight Saving Time.
It does not change the EXIF metadata within the original file.
However (and here is the catch...), if you use the Edit Capture Time function it changes the capture time NOT in relation to the Date Time Original value but to the LR (DTO-1) value.
Thats OK you might think but unlike other metadata changes you make in LR this one gets written straight back to the original image file!
But LR has a solution - 'Revert Capture Time to Original' - or does it...?
After Reverting the Capture Time to Original, I discovered that the EXIF Date Time Original value in the image file was now shifted by minus 1 hour.
Scary bit is I tried this first with JPG and DNG files but then with a Canon CR2 RAW file and got the same result. Just to be certain I looked at the file with a Hex editor and sure enough LR had changed the Date Time Original value by minus 1 hour in the CR2 file without warning.
I don't know about the rest of you but I do not like this 'feature' at all!!!

  • Can't send texts, clock 3.5 hours off. Galaxy s3

Last night I swapped batteries out when one was dying. I usually keep a spare, charged battery on me. When i turned on the phone, the clock was 3.5 hours off from the correct time. For example at 9am, the clock on my phone now says it's 5:30am. I also can't send outgoing text messages. I can receive texts. When I hit send on a text message, it just disappears. There is no error message.

That is definitely not normal, swflynn. Let's see what we can do to help get your phone working normally. If you haven't done so yet, please power it off, and remove the battery and SIM for about 15-20 seconds. Place everything back in and power it back on. This should hopefully reset the time back to normal. If not, please access Settings>Date and Time, and uncheck Automatic Date & Time. Turn that service back on, and see if this returns it back to normal.
Please keep us posted. Thank you, swflynn.
