Time settings are messed up

The time settings on my Iphone 3gs seem to have been messed up and are now half an hour behind. Is there anyway to rectify this problem so that the time zone and time are set to auto correct and show correct time. The time is currently set manually!!

Set it manually.
When set to "auto" the device pulls the time from the cell towers.
If the cell towers have the incorrect time, that must be addressed with the service provider.

• WCS time settings are incorrect on application

We have an issue with the time setting in the GUI of the WCS. The box is set with the right time but in the web interface, the time is 5h in advance.
I noticed this while creating a guest user acct, while editing time settings. The controller is not 5hours advance and has the correct time.
Is there a way for me to find out how WCS is configured with a time zome? WCS is installed on a Windows 2008 Server.
Thanks,
John

John....
This is per Cisco:
Set Up NTP on the WCS
The WCS relies on Windows or Linux for the correct time. The WCS checks the Windows Operating System or the Linux Operating System once every 24 hours for the system time. Therefore, it does not immediately know about system time changes unless you stop and restart the WCS server. Right-click on the clock and select Adjust Date/Time. Use an NTP time source to set the clock and manually set the offset for your time zone. This is typically already set.

• My email settings are messed up. The INBOX and NEW FOLDER tabs are on top of each other so that I cannot open a new folder.

The INBOX tab and the NEW FOLDER tab are entangled and are sitting one on top of the other so it's impossible to create a new email folder.

'' the bookmark facility is not functional in 29 ... Bookmark puts all bookmarks there into "recently bookmarked" ''
It does not.
It works much the same as the old system does. Or at least it should do and does do for me.
* Carefully reads the following article so you are certain what should be happening '''[[How to use bookmarks to save and organize your favorite websites ]]'''
# From an unbookmarked page click the bookmarks star.
#* That results in the bookmark being added, and yes initially it is just as an unsorted bookmark. (No doubt that is where most people put most bookmarks)
# IMPORTANT click the star a second time. (But not so rapidly it counts as a doubleclick)
#* You now have the options you had in the old version of Firefox
Create new folders
Save to a recently used folder
Show all bookmark folders - and expand nested folders
If your bookmarks are not working possibly the file is corrupted in which case see
* http://kb.mozillazine.org/Bookmarks_history_and_toolbar_buttons_not_working_-_Firefox#Damaged_Places_database
I am hoping it is just that you are doubleclicking the star too quickly.

• Re: Satellite L10-90 - Time settings are wrong if I start computer the next

Hi, I have Satellite L10-90 with XP Home. Since about one month the time setting is always wrong. I have synchronized the time and it seems to be corrected. But if I start the computer the next day, the time is wrong again. I have found some information in Google. Some people say that the battery on board is already discharged and need to be replayed with a new one.
I don't know what could be the reason. If I need a new battery, where is it on this computer and how to change it?
Help will be appreciated.

Hi
I have did the following tests:
1 Synchronize the time with time.windows.com, the time will be set correctly. The current time will be displayed and the time goes on. Shut down the labtop, wait, turn on the labtop, the time is wrong. The time beginns from the moment at which the labtop shuted down.
2 Synchronize the time with time.nist.gov, the problem is the same as 1.
3 I just have normal DSL, don't connet my labtop to a server.
4 I always use the AC/DC adapter as power supply. Even I shut down the labtop, it is still connected
It seems that if the labtop is off, the time wil stop.
Any ideas?

After syncing my iPad2, all of my color/contrast settings are messed up. Reds look blue and greens look grey. It reminds me of infra-red imaging. I'm not sure what happened. Can someone tell me how to fix this and maybe tell me what I did to cause this?

Try going to Settings > General > Accessibility > white on black and turn this OFF.

• When dual-booting with Windows 7, Mac OSX time settings reset every reboot.

I have recently installed Windows 7 Professional on my mid 2010 MacBook Pro via BootCamp (Running Mavericks BTW). Everything runs grean and have not experienced any problems on the Windows side, but I have a problem with Mac OSX now. When I am using Windows 7, and I reboot into Mac OSX, I find that my time settings are wrong. It seems like my time zone has changed, because the date is correct, as well as the minutes, but the hour is always wrong. When I go to Date & Time in System Preferences, and my time zone is correct, but I still have to chage the hour in the time. Any ideas as to why this is happening and how to stop it would be greatly appreciated.

If you dual boot your Windows PC with OS X or Linux, you may have experienced a problem in which your clocks reset themselves incorrectly every time you boot into Windows. Here's a simple registry edit to fix that.
Essentially, the incorrect clock setting happens because OS X and Linux use GMT time while Windows tries to synchronize with your local time zone, getting confused when you reboot between the two. Apple's own Boot Camp drivers for Windows are supposed to fix this problem, though some users have noticed that it still happens even with the drivers installed, and some Linux users are left out in the cold. Furthermore, if you have a Hackintosh, you can't install the Boot Camp drivers, so you'll need to find another way around the problem.
To fix it, just hit Start and type regedit.exe in the search box. Hit Enter and navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\TimeZoneInformation. Right click anywhere in the right pane and hit New > DWORD (32-bit) Value. Name it RealTimeIsUniversal, then double click on it and give it a value of 1.
Lastly, reboot into OS X, then reboot back into Windows. You should now notice that your clock actually displays the correct time.

• Where to go to see Lead Time settings? Calendar days vs working days

Hi everybody,
II'm trying to find the screen where details regarding Lead Time settings are shown. I'm looking specifically for information on the type of days we're using to identify Processing LT's. I'm not certain whether we're using calendar days or working days.
I'm sure there is a simple way of finding this information out, but just don't know where to look/change the setting.
Thanks,
BG

This is NOT a setting that you can view.
Oracle always behaves like this.
Best way to verify this is to create an item with PreLt=5, Processing LT=7 and Post-processing lt=5.
Then create a sales order with a due date of say 9/21. Make sure 9/1 to 9/21 is regular 5 days week.
Assuming no holidays, it will mean that you need material on the dock on 9/15 (5 days of PPLT = 7 calendar days.)
So when MRP/ASCP creates a Req/PO, the promised date will be 9/15.
Also, the Days from today will point to 9/1 - which includes 7 days of processing + 7 days of preprocessing (5 working days)
Hope this answers your quesiton.

Some Internet providers that limit access to a single device at a time do so by the device's hardware MAC address. If your ISP is one of those, you may be able to substitute the MAC address of your AirPort Express base station for the computer. I would suggest that you contact them to find out if this is allowable.

I installed a security program called Identity Finder whick requires a master password for Firefox on my laptop, which I like. However, even though my settings are to "Show my windows and tabs from last time," I have to manually add each link in a new tab each time. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

Pure speculation, but maybe that Identity Finder program is deleting your browsing history which is how Firefox restores tabs and windows from the previous session. Check with technical support for that program or look at the manual.

• Time settings messed up every time I turn the compter off

Hello,
I just got my macbook pro a week ago, and every time I shut down the computer the time seetings get messed up. I unchecked the automatic update, I even locked the settings and it still does it. It is really annoying to set the time correctly every time I turn the computer on. Could anybody help me with that ?

Hi
Interesting, this is normally as a result of the internal battery being dead. Is this Macbook new or second-hand? If new, & from Apple, would get in contact with them.
