Time Stamp not affected by change of calculated fields.

Dear Experts,
We have several calculated fields that are depended on values of lookup records or the system-time.
I experienced during recalculation that when the calculated field changes the Time Stamp did NOT change. This change did also NOT trigger the workflow with Trigger Action: Record Update. AND the record is not Syndicated because the syndication map has Suppress Unchanged Records.
Has anyone an idea how to solve this?
Kind regards,
Job Jansen

Dear Kanstantsin,
I don't know what you mean by "simple field" but I have 2 calculated fields one is Text and the other is Boolean. In both cases the Time Stamp is not updated during recalculation.
Of course both fields are selected fields in the Time Stamp field.
Kind Regards,
Job Jansen

I'm not sure what can cause this please help thank you

    Hi whowhatwere,
Are you only confused about the last access time not change when you open a file?
If you want to know more details about modified and created time, we can refer to the following KB.
    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/299648/en-us
About the accessed time, please refer to the following blog.
How do I access a file without updating its last-access time?
    http://blogs.msdn.com/b/oldnewthing/archive/2011/10/10/10222560.aspx
The blog mentioned that: In fact, the intuitive definition of access is more specific: It's "the last time I opened, modified, printed, or otherwise performed some sort of purposeful action on the file."

  • Time stamps not linear

    Hi,
I have a DAQ USB-6251 driven by labview.
The time stamps on the text file have backward and forward jumps in them.  See attached for picture.
They increase linearly for about 12000 samples, then jump backwards
about a 3 sec, linearly increase for about 1000, then jump forward
about 6 seconds.  This cycle then repeats ie increasing nice and
linearly for about 12000 samples, jumping back etc.
I suspect there is a buffer somewhere which fills up and then acts strangly when trying to reset.
    Any explanations?  Any solutions?
Here's some further info about my setup:
    Producer loop:
I generate a continuous analog output signal which I feed back into one of analog input pins which I also continuously acquire.
The generation and acquisition both have sample rates of 4096
samples/sec and 1024 samples are set to acquire/generate per loop.
    The recorded input is enqueued.
    Consumer loop:
Dequeues data and write to text file.
    Regards,
    Jamie

    Ben,
Maybe this is a good chance for me to learn (be convinced of) something then.  I'd try this out for myself on hw, but I've got tests running now.
Let's suppose I have both an AI and an AO task, both set up to start off the same sample clock.  However, the AO outputs on the leading edge of a clock while the AI samples on the trailing edge of the clock.  Let's further stipulate that the clock is generated by an on-board counter at 5 kHz with 90% duty cycle.  So the AO update occurs 180 microseconds before the AI.  How do waveforms handle this offset in t0?  Will t0 simply be set to 0 because of the use of an "external" sampling clock?  Or will the two t0 values be equal and non-zero?  Or will they be sometimes equal and sometimes different, depending on the "phase" of the system clock -- either the 1 msec one or the 16 msec one used for system timestamps?
Now, concerning triggering:  Does t0 represent the time of the trigger?  Or of the first sample / output *after* the trigger?  Or is it the time you call DAQmx Start prior to receiving a trigger signal?
Other concern: even when not *strictly* necessary, I try to make a habit of making code that runs pretty efficiently, unless that puts an undue burden on development / maintenance effort.  My experience with processing large arrays vs. processing clusters containing large arrays has suggested that pure arrays are typically significantly more efficient to manage.  (I'm sure it depends on sizes and kinds of processing too.)  Aren't waveforms essentially cluster-like?
Well, enough of the blah, blah, blah.  I really *am* interested.  I know many of the analysis functions prefer (if not require) waveform inputs rather than raw arrays these days, so there are some clear code simplicity advantages to waveforms IF I can be convinced that I'm fully informed of the downsides and gotchas.  (Another example of worry: when integrating a waveform, how does the floating point roundoff accumulate from the 'dt' value?  Will results late in a long array contain more cumulative roundoff error?)

I'm in the U.K. but my icloud emails are U.S. time stamped, how can I change this?

    Hi foxie-d,
    Welcome to the Support Communities!
The article below may be able to help you with this.
iCloud: If email shows the wrong time
    http://support.apple.com/kb/PH2644
When you send or receive email, the time it was sent or received appears in the email header (the information at the top of the email). If the time shown in your email header is incorrect, you need to change the time zone setting for your iCloud account.
Change the time zone on iCloud.com
Click your account name, then choose Account Settings.
Click Time Zone, then click a time zone on the map.
You can also click the time zone name below the map, then choose a time zone from the pop-up menu.
    Click Done.
You need to log out of iCloud, then log back in to see the changed time zone in iCloud Mail.
    Happy New Year!

  • SMQS: when is time stamp in the "last change by" changed?

    Dear Gurus,
Recently we are encountering issues in our OUTBOUND queue of ECC. In a certain time queues pile-up to almost 2K and are in status READY.
    *Integration is ECC <-> APO
To understand if its a QRFC issue or a Overloaded WorkProcesses, we need to isolate each case.
First we assumed that the reason of having the READY status are:
    1. due to the change in TYPE of the queue name (APO system) from R to U or vice versa
    2. due to the change in STATUS of the queue name
What we would like to know is, what does the time stamp consider upon updating?
    Are those assumptions above correct?
Also the User ID seems not being updated.
I asked the user indicated in the "last change by" if he did some change, but responded that he is not performing any change in the QRFC for the past few days. But it shows his name and current time stamp.
    thanks and regards!
    Zeek

Dear Babu, really appreciate your response on this.
Unfortunately, when i look into SMQS the APO system queue was already set to R. Upon checking the "last change by" (double clicking on the TYPE) i see that the time stamp was at current date and time.
And the only thing that can help us catch who/what is the cuplrit (user/background process), is to understand what are the factors that the time stamp in "last change by" considers. Also the user indicated in it, was saying he hasn't performed any changes that day... What bothers us is that it might be a background process as the time stamp keeps changing every time... Usually, for what i noticed, the time stamp there only register the date and time when our system had the support pack updated. but recently, it is showing that its been changing every day.
Moreover, our basis folk just assumes that the time stamp considers both the update in TYPE and as well as the change in STATUS. He is saying that the change in activity (when ECC transfers data to APO) is the reason behind the change in time stamp. For us to prove it, we checked on /SAPAPO/CC and saw that the last update of CIF/Any changes in ECC is similar to the one in SMQS last change, so it is not a valid reason, though the time is quite near what SMQS says.
So what we need to understand is that, was it really the CIF/any updates in Orders going to APO does trigger the time stamp change in SMQS "last change by"?
    thanks!
    Zeek

  • Date and Time Stamp not showing up on import?

I recorded with date and time stamp on my Sony Sr-11 and when I import it in iMovie 11 it's not displayed.  Please help so when I import it shows up in iMovie 11.

Playing back the tape in the camcorder that originally recorded the tape with the display output activated, doesn't mean that you actually recorded the date & time as part of the video. Check the user's manual of your camcorder to find out how to record date & time as part of the image - not just to a data track. FCP doesn't access the data code info.

  • Time Stamp not being created correctly

    Afternoon,
Unfortunately, when writing a timestamp using GET TIME STAMP FIELD f the time contained with field f is one hour behind what it should be.
Also when we use the command CONVERT DATE d TIME t DAYLIGHT SAVING TIME dst INTO TIMESTAMP tst TIMEZONE tz  where sy-uzeit = t, sy-datum = d, sy-dayst = dst (X) and  sy-zonlo = GMTUK the time within tst is still one hour behind.
The system time is set to GMTUK as is my userID. This issue has arisen since the UK switched to daylight saving time last Sunday.
If anyone can provide an explanation as to why this is I would appreciate it.
    Thanks and regards
    John.

    Sudheer,
Thanks for pointing me in the direction of that blog. It provided to be very useful. When getting a time stamp the system always returns UTC (Universal Time Coordinated) and ignores if daylight saving time is in operation.
To convert a timestamp you use convert time stamp and use the time zone sy-zonlo to get the correct local time.
    Thanks and regards
    John.

  • Master-detail: detail field not displayed after changed by master field

I want to use the Depends on item with Clear/refresh value functionality in a master detail situation. Within the same group it is no problem to use the setter method of a field to change a second field and then displaying this new value. But in the detail group, I can not select items from the master group as a depends on item.
In the setter of the master field, the value in a field for each row in the detail (table layout) is updated. The only problem is that this updated value is not displayed, the old value doesn't change. When saving the changes, the displayed value is committed to the database. When de updated field is not displayed at all, the correct value is saved, so I know the detail field is updated.
How can I make sure the displayed value in the detail is displayed after changeing a master field? I already gave the detail field the correct partial trigger.

    Wouter,
I guese you don;t see the changed value when you display the detail item because after the depends on item update changed the detail item, JSF procesing continues and the detail table changes are sent to the server which will override again the detail item attriibute, resetting it to the old, still displayed value.
So, the trick is to get PPR working. Make sure the partialTYriggers property of the detail item is set to the value of the id property of the master item. If it still doesn't work, try setting the partial triggers property on the table, instead of the individual item.

  • Can a time stamp be applied that changes color if under 24 hr.

We use fillable pdf to enter job orders. Is there a way that when orders are enter that if the due date is within a 24 hrs period it can change to red or say rush charhe to notify my clients and employees that there will be a upcharge.

Yes, you need to convert the order date and time and delivery date and time to a JavaScript date object and then get the time in milliseconds from the Epoch date for the 2 items. If you subtract the order date time from the delivery date time values you will have the difference in milliseconds which is easily converted to hours.
Exact code will require field names, and formats for date and time.
You use the "util.scand" method to convert a date and time string to a date object.

  • Time stamp not recognized by Excel

I am working on a VI to collect data from 16 load cells. I am using FieldPoint. The VI saves this data to Excel and puts a timestamp along with the data. The problem is this. The number in the timestamp cannot be converted by Excel into a useable time. I have placed a probe on both sides of the conversion from the timestamp and verified the problem. There is probably another way to skin this cat.

I went in and subtracted (5) hours x (60) seconds x (60) minutes from the 126316800 constant. This made the time correct. Surely NI has come up with a better method than this? I need to take this system to all corners of the globe and hate to have to adjust the time to match.
I also had to delete the date time to seconds vi and associated hookup in order to get the time to work. I replaced all of this with the get date time vi and it seems to work fine. Excel now can convert the output to a useable number.
Thank you for all the help!

  • Delta load not picking the changes to Custom Fields in 0CRM_QUOTA_ORDER_I

We have enhanced the structure of CRM datasource 0CRM_QUOTA_ORDER_I for some additional fields that are held on the quotation. These are being successfully extracted when the quotation is being created. We have been running with this exctract for some time but we have been made aware that the additional fields on the append structure are not being updated when the quotation is being changed. Therefore delta changes are not being picked up making the reports incorrect.
The user exit we are using to extract the information is EXIT_SAPLRSAP_001
Does anyone know how we can enable this change so that delta changes are picked up by the extractor.
    Many thanks

    Hi Gareth,
Can you please check that the custom fields were added as described in question 4 in the SAP note
692195? If yes and there is still a problem please check that the SAP note  1319891 has been applied
in your system, it is a pilot note so you will need to raise a message with SAP to get added to the pilot
    note.

We have custom field in SO item (VBAP) for which screen 8459 of SAPMV45A has been enhanced. Now, on the change of the custom field, user exit USEREXIT_MOVE_FIELD_TO_ME_REQ is not getting triggered.
Requirement is to change Purchase Requistion item (setting value of a EBAN field to custom field from 8459 screen) when a SO is created/changed.
    Can someone please help!

    Hi
U can also to try to insert a new MODULE in the PAI of screen-exit where u call the user-exit USEREXIT_MOVE_FIELD_TO_ME_REQ or where u fill the header line of table EBAN just as what that exit does.
U should remember the screen-exit is "yours", so u can insert all module u need, just only save them in the following include:
    - MV45AOZZ (PBO module)
    - MV45AIZZ   (PAI module)

  • Remove time stamp in track changes bubble

Is there any way to remove the time stamp from the Track Changes bubble? I can't seem to find a way to do it. Maybe it just can't be done?

It seems that time_stamping the changes is a logical feature.
As far as I know, we can't disable it.
