Time sync not active

Hi there,
I have a server that reports "Time Syncronization is NOT active" when you
type "time" at the console. I have looked at the server parameters and
it has the same reference server as all the other servers. Dsrepair
reports all is well. Any ideas?

Here is the reference cfg file:

I have managed to resolve my problem actually but I would be still like
your comments as you say the is not a valid config so I would like to
know your recommendations.

Following update Word:mac window won't enlarge/Restore button on Time machine not active

I have found two issues following automatic installation of the Security Update 2014-005 that took place last night.
The first is when I open Word:mac my window is super-small (2"x2") and will not enlarge using the manual "pull" although the arrows do appear when my mouse touches the edge of the window.
When I could not discover a way to correct this, I decided to restore from my Time Machine backups, but my Time Machine Back-ups won't all me to restore. I can see the back-ups are there but the option to Restore is not active- I can select the various back-ups and only the Cancel option is active.
Since it seems I cannot go back I may try to upgrade the OS to Yosemite to see if that helps.
Help is appreciated.

So the issue with Word:mac was a glitch that resolved by changing, then reverting, screen resolution options.

And apparently I can't restore from a back-up following a security update. This would have to be done using the recovery mode since firmware was updated.

My laptop died and when it restarted all the documents that were open with pages, except for an essay reopened upon start up. I need to find this essay immediately. I am willing to pay for an app or some other means as long as I'm guranteed it will work? I am not that into computers and technology so I did not have time machine active as I've only really heard about it since trying to locate the file.

Until you have saved a document at least once, it exists only in memory. When your computer died, your file disappeared.
Accept it as a learning experience and a reminder to save your documents immediately on opening them for the first time. That gives your Mac a name for the document and a location to save the file.

If you synced it many times, you have to have a backup. It's just a question of how old that backup is now. When did you last sync?
First of all launch iTunes on your computer and go to Edit>Preferences>Devices. Do you see any backups for you iPad in that window? If so, how new is the newest backup? That will be the backup that you will want to use. But remember that if you use that backup and it is one month old, you can only restore from that date back in time. Anything that you did on the iPad in the past month will not be in that backup.
Turn on the new iPad Minin and start activating OTA via WiFi. You will get to a certain point in the process where you will be given the choice to Set up as new, Restore from iCloud - or Restore from iTunes. You will want to select Restore from iTunes.
That is the short and sweet version. There are step by step instructions in this article. This applies to the mini as well as the iPad 4 or the iPad 3 for that matter.

Date and Time Sync at boot for Active Directory/Open Directory Authenticati

All the macs in my school district are set to automatically sync their time with a network time server. They do not do this unless the system preference is opened. This poses a problem as all our users must authenticate against an Active Directory and an Open Directory server. If the time is out of sync they can not login, and therefore can not fix the time. I must then login in with a local admin account set the time and then the network account can login. I have tried using direct IP addresses for the NTP server. That doesn't work either. I have adjusted the tolerance of the AD server to accept a large discrepancy in time (did not work). Set the users to be mobile accounst (local home folders), did not work. The only fix will be to ensure that the time does sync at boot, before login. Is there a way to force the computer to sync at boot to a given NTP server, prior to the login window appearing?

I have come up with my own solution for this issue. It is a two part solution. We found that the computers are experiencing time drift and that after they get out of sync by 5 minutes they can no longer login. One would think that the setting in the Date and Time system preference to automatically synchronize the time would take care of this. That however is not the case that check mark does not affect the ntp service at all. It merely eliminates the need to click a button when entering the system preference. How did we discover this? well that is part of the solution. We used webmin (http://www.webmin.com) to look at the ntp configuration. No matter what changes we made with the Date & Time preferences nothing changed in the system ntp settings. So on to the solution: Install webmin, and configure the ntp protocol manually to sync at your desired interval (I did hourly). This stops time drift. Next create a startup item and associated plist to force time sync at boot (be sure to loop it as different machines initialize their network cards slower). I have made ours available for download (http://www.manheimcentral.org/~getzt/netTime.zip). I hope this helps others. We have found that this works fairly well.

ITunes not syncing "computer not activated"

iTunes will not sync anything (apps, music, books) i bought on the ipad. It keeps telling me that my "PC is not activated". But after activating my PC in "Settings", it tells me that my PC is already activated....and the initial message "PC not activated" reappears. The Apple-Hotline had nor answer for me at all.
As a first time Apple buyer, i expected it to be less frustrating than the usual stuff. Seems i was wrong!!

I activated iCould and as usual started syncing with my BB 3G non of my new appointments where added to ical, and when i said replace data,all my calendar on my BB disappeared/deleted and my ical is perfectly ok on the icloud. Yes, you can do something like that. What you would do is create a button for each image and then hide them. When I do this type of thing I place all of the buttons on a template page and then hide the template.
You can then use JavaScript to copy the icon from any of the hidden buttons to the main button that you've set up to display the image. For example, suppose you set up 10 buttons named b1, b2, b3, ...b10. The code to copy the icon from one of them to the button used to display the image (b0) would be something like this:

I am using some VBA code to run logic in BPC for Excel. When i try to click on VBA button, It's giving the below error.However when i am trying to execute same from server it is working fine. Accessing from BPC client only we are facing this problem.
Code have no issues. Is there any specific thing need to mentioned in client when we use VBA programming? Basically we used the VBA program to create the id's in BPC for Excel. So that it will automatically created on fly. Testing was fine interms of working in Server.

Are you trying to add a member into the dimension from excel? As you said that this has been already tested in the server and is working fine, I believe, you have taken care of everything.
Now, coming to the point, when you are adding a member in the membersheet, you need to process the dimension. This requires the admin rights. So, please check the task profile of the user ID, with which you are trying from your system. This user ID should be the primary admin.

ESS Time Statement Report not Active?

I am running ERP2004 ESS with IDES. I think were on SP9. I have adobe document services installed and its working ok with other reports, however when I try to run the Time Statement report I get an error "Print program not activated for form SAP_TIM_99_0001".
I tried going into transaction HRFORMS to active it, but it says there is an error in the code, some variable is not declared. The code is out of the box and can't be changed so I'm thinking these could be the possible problems:
     1. The SAP_TIM_99_0001 form delivered in the SP has errors and I need to apply a new SP level.
     2. I am not trying to active the program right. (Currently I am going into HRFORMS, selecting the report, then activating it)
     3. There needs to be some configue done that will help this compile right.
Please let me know if you have any insight to this problem and if you have it working yourself.

I'm working with ERP2005 ECC 6.0 Portal: 2004s SP7
When I try to open the Time Statement in the workset Working Time I receive the same error message, but in this case, say that the Form SAP_TimeSlip is missing.
I went to that transaction you mencioned and the Form is already Activated.
Can you help me with this issue?
