Time table for warehousing

Hi All,
Where can I find a time table (similar to SH.TIMES) for use
in data warehousing?
The problem with SH.TIMES is that it just have time information
up to 2001... I4d like something as 10 years from now...
TIA,
Marcelo

Disclosure: I work for NIST, but not in the Computer Security Div. (the group that issues the certificates).
Looking at the NIST list of validated modules, Lion's crypto module recieved its certification on 3/30/12, but I don't know if this applies to all apps or just the libraries.  It doesn't apply to 3rd party apps yet (note says it will be re-evaluated for that use).  I wouldn't think File Vault is a "third party" app.
I'll post more if I find out anything.

    I believe I read something that Lion/File Vault 2 encryption was submitted to NIST for FIPS-140-2 certification.   I know that IOS 5 is first to be certified, but does anyone know the time table for Lion/File Vault 2 to be certified?     I was told a few months ago that it would be certified by 12/31/2011.   Any update would be appreciated.

  • Time table for iPod restore

    I was able to successfuly download iTunes 7. When I did I chose to restore my iPod. Files for the restore have been loading for about 30 minutes. Am I hung up or is this one of those 4 to 6 hour downloads? There is no frame of reference to tell you how far along you are. There is only a spinning wheel thing next to the word "Downloads" Please advise.
    THANKS!

    The iPod download is about 50MB. So, plan accordingly!

  • Time table algorithm

    Hi guys..
    we are working on a application for school... we want to genrate time table for each class ,
    each class has alloted subjects and number of perods for that subject in a week,
    Can any body suggest some way that no peroid will clash
    Thanx in advance

    This is a non-trival algorthm that I think is NP-complete. PossiblilitiesIt sure is NP-complete and in a very dirty corner of that set as well.
    1) Use exhaustive search - probably very slow.
    2) Use Simulated Annealing - a bit quicker than 1).
    3) Use Genetic algorithms - a bit quicker than 1).If the final roster isn't that big, optimal rosters can be found by using 0/1 ILP
    (Integer Linear Programming). I've seen CPLEX solve quite substantial
    rosters with a lot of ad-hoc constraints in just a couple of seconds.
    My experience with SA is that it never finds anything better than average. Ditto
    for the GA approach. An exhaustive search needs lots of local 'cleverness'
    to navigate around the numerous (exponential?) pitfalls in the solution space.
    I'd say check out CPLEX, possibly linked to a nice modelling system, e.g. AIMMS.
    kind regards,

  • Using Numbers, I need to time-stamp each line in a table for when it was entered

    I need to time-stamp each line in a table for when it was entered.
    I have a formula which is
    "=IF(F18="","",NOW())"
    it gives me the answer I want, but every time I edit any data in the formula is recalculates the date/time to reflect the most recent edit. I do not want to do this. I am open to any and all solutions including using a script. I do not really know anything about scripts except that they are really easy to use once it's written.
    I have a formula i use in excel but it requires circular references in excel. I tried using this formula in numbers but I get the error that says I cannot reference a cell that references back to the cell i’m inputting the formula into (circular reference. It is easy to use in excel just by limiting the # of iterations in preferences. I can’t seem to find any such preference in numbers. Do you know of one? here is the formula:
    "=IF(D4=”",”",IF(B4=”",NOW(),B4))"
      I use it to time stamp each line in a spreadsheet. It is the only way to keep all the previous line from recalculating everytime I add a new line. If I can’t use this formula, do you know of a way to timestamp each line without having it update everytime I add a line or edit the form?
    Thanks in advance- I know this isn’t exaclty an easy question but I have honestly looked everywhere
    emely

    Hi Emely,
    Check the Insert menu:
    The highlighted item is slightly misnamed, requiring a bit more than a simple selection (or keypress combination*) to act as a time stamp.
    Simply choosing the menu item willproduce the result shown in A2: A time and date value is entered, but only the Date part is displayed.
    Setting the cell format to Date and Time, with both parts displayed (as I've done in column B) does show both parts of the Date and Time value, but as you can see, the time part is set to midnight, as it is in any cell where you have entered only the Date part of a Date and Time value. The date was entered here in the same manner as in A3.
    To enter both the current Date and current Time, the process has a few more steps:
    Select the cell
    Go Insert > Date & Time
    Before confirming the entry, double-click the cell (now showing the Date) to open this small dialogue:
    Click the pop-up menu under Choose Date format:
    Choose the last item in the list.
    Results as shown in A4 and B4 of the table above.
    Regards,
    Barry
    •Regarding the KB shortcut shown: The Mac OS lets you define a KB shortcut for any top-level menu item. The one in the menu is a user-defined keypress combination, made to be easily remembered, not to be physically convenient to use. If doing your own, you may want to try for something eassier to get your fingers on.

  • Taking long time filling the setup tables for sales and shipment

    Hi ,
    I am trying to fill the setup tables for sales and shipment and it is taking lot of time .
    It took 16 hours just to bring 6 months of  sales history  data in the test environment .
    Cn anybody help on this issue why it is taking that much of time ...
    I am trying to  load the sales data from R/3 into APO-BW from 2005 to 2007 .......
    It is taking 16 hours to fill the data for only 6 months .

    Hi,
    1. delete data and refill the setuptables again by spliting to several small pieces.
    2. compare the data. wht is the last Document numner in RSA3(Maximum one). Start from Maximum one. may be bit complex approch.
    you need to check with PSA and base tables.
    keep one thing in your mind you need to check againest MSEG and BSEG only. noy BKPF and MKPF.
    correct if i'm wrong.
    either refill or create a user exit to avoid duplicae records(you should have very good understanding of data, it will lead to inconsitent data for delta records).
    User exit not a good solution. it's one possibility.

  • Long Time: Fill Internal Header Table for VBUK via Doc. Flow Predeces

    Good Morning Support,
    I have installed DMIS (2006_1_620) and DMIS_CNT (2006_1_620), both atthe level of SP = 13. Data Base = Informix.
    The activity "Header Fill Internal Table for Predicting Flow VBUK via Doc" is taking a long time in execution.
    I wanted to create an index to improve performance according to the note 1256679 but I can not because the tables VBFA and VBFCL are "Table cluster" and I have no way to create index.
    Any suggestions?I open the remote connection.
    Thanks,
    Hugo.

    Hello Hugo,
    There are 2 ways out of this :
    1. Either convert the Cluster Table to Transparent Table.
    2. Enable Cluster Handling by setting P_CLU to Y. But in this case, you will have to set the parameter for all the 3 activities for VBUK i.e.
    a) Fill Internal Header Table for Table VBUK (Initial)                      -
    > TD05X_FILL_VBUK
    b) Fill Internal Header Table for Table VBUK via Document Flow  -
    > TD05X_FILL_VBUK_1
    c) Fill Internal Header Table for VBUK via Doc. Flow Predeces.  -
    > TD05X_FILL_VBUK_2
    Then re-run the previous activities in the above order so that the cluster gets filled.
    Hope this helps.

  • Fill Internal Table for Table Header EQUI - Long Time

    Good morning,
    I have installed DMIS (2006_1_620) and DMIS_CNT (2006_1_620), both at the level of SP = 13.
    I am running the subactivity "Fill Internal Table for Table Header EQUI" and have 1 day + 10 hours and continue working.
    Also note that the table CNVTDMS_05_equi  is increased million in millions and now has 6 million records.
    It is normal to take a long time? (EQUI table has 240 million records and therefore will take many days).
    Any suggestions?
    Thanks,
    Hugo

    Hello Hugo,
    I know this is old , but did you ever find a solution to this.  I am having the same problem.  I considered adding an index to table QMIH, with Keys MANDT and BEQUI.
    I also only have one bckgrd proc running in sender systems with this statement when I drill in using SM50:
    SELECT
    /*+
      FIRST_ROWS (1)
    FROM
      "QMIH"
    WHERE
      "MANDT"=:A0 AND "BEQUI"=:A1 AND ROWNUM <=:A2 #
    This has been running for over 8hrs now.
    Any thoughts?
    Thanks,
    NICK

  • Export tables for certain time frame

    Hi All,
    Can I export tables for certain time frame? Or from last time I exported those tables? All I want is to have all the changs of the tables from last time I did export, then I can import this delta portion into another instance, thus complete the data replication.
    Thanks,

  • Programming a times table with FOR, WHILE & DO WHILE STATEMENTS

    Guys,
    Help me, I have tried hard, but I didn't find the answer, my problem is that I got difficulties in doing a times table with the FOR, WHILE, and DO WHILE STATEMENTS just using a single index or a single variable.
    Guys, is it possible to program a times table with these conditions all together in the same code???
    Do I await your suggestions?
    Ps: Below, the attempt that I did, but I was not successful.
    import javax.swing.JOptionPane;
    public class tab
    public static void main(String args[])
    int i;
    String TimesTable= "";
    int result=0;
    do
    for (i=0;i<=10;i++)
    result=i*1;
    TimesTable +="\n" + i + "x" + i + "=" + result;
    //JOptionPane.showMessageDialog(null, "Times tables of " + i + TimesTable);
    // TimeTable="";
    // i=0;
    // i=i+1;
    // i=0;
    while(i<=10)
    i=i+1;
    // System.out.println("2 x "+i+"="+2*i);
    // i--;
    }while(i!=0);
    JOptionPane.showMessageDialog(null, "Times Table of " + i + TimesTable);
    TimesTable="";
    }

    You can use the if block "if(i%10==9)" in this case.

  • Help with calculation code!! for Times tables program

    I am creating a times tables program that lets the user select the Times tables, number of lines required and the type of table (multipy, addition etc).
    So if user selects 12 times tables and 4 lines it should look like this on the screen:
    12 x 1 = 12
    12 x 2 = 24
    12 x 3 = 36
    12 x 4 = 48
    and so on...
    Problem is that when I pass the info to the procedure in the below code I am not sure what I need to do to replicate the above.
    Appreciate some ideas! Here is code so far:

    responseYour posts suggested otherwise.
    I was simply expressing how I was stuck with
    the problem.That's not relevant to anybody here. What is relevant is your specific question, which I don't see in your initial post. Just "how do I do this?"
    You know what, I am a beginner to this programming
    and it's people like you with your smug attitute and
    'KNOW IT ALL' behaviour that puts people like me off
    even looking to go down this road as a career.Given your attitude so far, I doubt you'll be missed.
    So, why don't you stop acting like a spoilt little
    child and stop pretending like you own this forum.Flounder was right: Nobody here likes that demanding, "Help me now!" attitude. Coupled with the fact that your question is very vague and the tone of your subsequent posts, you're not doing much to encourage anyone to volunteer their time to help you.
    Not to mention that posting the same question multiple times is rude and annoying. It's very irritating to spend time answering a question, only to find out somebody else has already answered it.
