Time to leave the Droid Hello Iphone
Well I just switched to verizon in January and got the htc Droid and ever since I got it i have had nothing but problems I took it there acouple of times and they said it was fine but it still misses calls lags real bad and battery life stinks. I have tried every option to fix these problems nothing works. Verizon wont replace the phone because they say nothing is wrong with it thats **! So after watching the Apple Blog today I have decided to say good bye to my droid and hello to the new iphone. Dont hate on me Im just expressing how i feel. If verizon got the iphone i would stay but oh well
Verizon is mainly focused on Android. Plus keep in mind that AT&T and Apple are still in a contract together. The contract I believe ends in 2011.
It's okay I can create an iPhone for you
The lines have really went small though since the first iPhone came out.

The Find My IPhone app is used to find OTHER lost devices, it does nothing to make your device "findable". To make it findable, you must turn on "Find My IPhone" in settings. And than you need location services on. This however does not guarantee that you'll always find it if lost. A thief can set it to factory settings, even remove the sim card. Then it'll be unfindable.

I have windows Vista and have the updated version of Firefox. I also can run OPERA and LUNASCAPE with no problems. When running Firefox I have to constant re log-in to my Yahoo account every time I leave the page. For example: I log in to check my email on Yahoo and then leave my email page. Then when I return to recheck my email I have to log in all over again. I can't stay logged in. If I run my OPERA browser I stay logged in for days without having to sign in all over again.

To clear cache and cookies do the following:

I am trying to transfer my verizon cloud from my droid x2 to my iphone 6. I have the wifi on but my iphone 6 isnt finding the device to transfer from. bluetooth is on & I really need help. It is ridiculous that employees cant get help. Can someone out there help me with the cloud?

The previous employee is not available to unlink.If you can provide Apple with documentation that the company is the original purchaser of the phone, they may be able to remove the activation lock for you. Contact AppleCare.
You may also want to consider using a company provided Apple ID for Find My iPhone. Don't give the password to the user. They can still use their own Apple ID for iMessage, FaceTime, the App Store (if that's permitted). -
Are apple charging devices interchangeable between the ipad and iphone?
Is the charging hardware on an Ipad 4th generation compatible to charge iphone 5c? In other words can I charge my iphone with my ipad charging hardware?
You are welcome...I use my iPad charger all the time with both the iPad and iPhone. Especially when traveling to avoid carrying multiple chargers. Plus, the plug "duckbill" on the iPad charger can be removed and one with a different pin configuration for other countries pushed on so it is not necessary to carry plug converters outside the US.

That's exactly how it's going to work. Unless you've set up separate iTunes playlists for your devices, the books will be deposited the books section on iTunes, and will appear as PDFs.
As Gus2259 said, you can use iCloud or Dropbox, or transport it through iTunes via an attached computer, or even use a cable. -
I can record voice memos fine using the built-in iPhone 4 mic. And my Bluetooth headset (Jawbone Era) works fine when I leave messages on voice mail systems etc. when calling on the iPhone 4, so it appears my headset mic is fine. I can also use voice activated dialing, although it fails miserably interpreting numbers. However, I cannot record voice memos with my Bluetooth mic. I just get barely audible static. Any suggestions? Thanks.
Hello, did you ever get an answer to your question? I just picked up a Jawbone Era and using on an iPhone 4s running 5.0.1. Seems to work fine on regular calls, but not on the built in Voice memos application. It worked fine on my older Jawbone Icon, but haven't tested on the 4s or iOS 5.

How can you keep your iPhone 4 (using it as my car's iPod) staying on the Audible app? When I leave the car and return to continue hearing a book, it has switched to iTunes.
The first time an iPhone is connected to iTunes that is used to sync with another iPhone or iOS device, you are prompted to transfer the backup for the other iPhone or iOS device or to set up the iPhone as a new iPhone.
The former does as provided - it transfers the backup for the other iPhone or iOS device to the iPhone replacing all data on the iPhone that is included with the backup being transferred. The latter does nothing allowing you to make your various selections for the iPhone sync preferences with iTunes.
This is designed to be done right away with a new iPhone.
If you don't have a backup for the iPhone with iTunes on your computer and don't have an iCloud backup that hasn't been updated since choosing to transfer the backup for your iPod Touch to the iPhone, the data that was on the iPhone is gone. -
My iPhone 3GS wifi wont connect if I leave the house with phone and come back
So my iPhone 3GS (which i bought in December 2011) (out of warranty), will not connect to wifi.. My phone already has problems (randomly i lost my network and it always stuck on No Service, which doesnt allow me to make calls or send texts ). I have a backup phone that I use, but I still use the wifi on my phone for playing games, listening to music, etc. (basically using it as an iPod). But recently, I started having problems with the wifi, every time I tried to load a page, the wifi dropped and it did this constantly. After a while it quit dropping, until one day I left the house with my phone and when I came back I saw that I was unable to connect with the wifi. At home the wifi works, but whenever I leave the house with it, the wifi doesn't connect for a while. I stopped leaving my house with the phone so this problem stopped for a while. But today I ran into a new problem, I did not leave the house with the phone, but simply turned the phone off, left it at home, came back after 2 hours, and turned it back on and was unable to get wifi. I reset the network settings a couple times, but still when I try to connect to a network.. I get "Choose a Network... Other.." with no networks at all showing up. I've been waiting 2 hours yet nothing shows up.. Any help?
Basic troubleshooting steps in the following order.
1. Reset. Press and hold both Power and Home Buttons together till Apple Logo appears.
2. Restore to a backup.
3. Backup, Restore in iTunes and setup as new. -

In my experience, the impact is minimal, especially on something like an iPhone 5S. Mine is on all of the time because I use it all of the time, mostly for my Pebble Smartwatch but also for headsets and speakers.

How can i extend the battery life of my iphone 4s? when i left 50% it in standby mode when i saw in 5hours it drains to 5% i saw 45%, i thought when i leave the phone the percent is still the same. whant am i goin to do?
I was not aware of the fact one could use ringtones as alarms, this will suffice! Although I foresee some very awkward times as the sound does not stop once I respond to the reminder (it keeps going for good five - ten seconds after I "stop" the reminder), but it's better than missing it altogether!

-Modular747: I don't know anyone who actually reads the terms of service agreement, those things are usually up to thirty, small print pages full of legal jargon. Rules, I do read - not the legal documents (also they often contradict the laws in my country, but that's a whole different story).
I agree with you - the average customer support consultant mostly cares about keeping his job and earning his salary (don't we all?) and thus racking up completted tasks (i.e. getting rid of customers as fast as possible - in a good mood). The "threat" none the less is real, if a cell phone causes me more trouble than it is worth, I will indeed throw it away (I have done so before) - and recommend a different brand to anyone willing to listen.
Don't get me wrong, I love Apple and I've been faithfully using and recommending their producs for twenty years now, not because of fanboyism, but because they earned it. This calendar issue, however, is like a toaster that doesn't automatically eject the toast at the set time. I see it as a major flaw and after googling around a bit I see that it's been around since at least 2007 (THAT'S SEVEN YEARS!!) so I strongly believe they are aware of this problem by now, but are choosing to ignore it for some mysterious reason and it really ****** me off.
I will send the feedback but based on my observations I suspect the Send button is merely a cleverly disguised Delete button. -

Over the last two days, I have had to unlock my apple account 8 times. I didn't get any new devices. I haven't initiated a password reset. I didn't forget my password. I set up two factor authentication and have been able to do the unlocking with the key and using a code sent to one of my devices.
That all works.
It's this having to unlock my account every time I go to use any of my devices. And I have many: iMac, iPad, iPad2, iPad mini, iPhone 5s, iPod touch (daughter), and my old iPhone 4 being used as an ipod touch now. They are all synced, and all was working just fine.
I have initiated an incident with Apple (again) but I know they are just going to suggest I change my Apple ID. It's a simple one, and one that I am sure others think is theirs. I don't want to change it. I shouldn't have to. Apple should be able to tell me who is trying to use it, or at least from where.

tried upgrading to ios7 then said i didnt have enough storage so attempted to delete apps in usage and turned my icloud on, now iphone wont leave the settings app. cant turn off or return to home. tried connecting to itunes and no change. help!
You need to reset the phone, but that requires a functioning on/off (lock) button. Time to visit Apple.
