TimeCapsule Password Not Working

I have one 2tb TimeCapsule and two Macs backing up to the device.
Both devices are successfully creating backups to the TC with individual sparse bundles being created and I can enter TimeMachine to view backed up folders / files no problem.
The problem comes when starting either Apple Mac device - holding 'cmd R' - and attempting to restore from time machine backup. I can gain access to each devices backup and they show in the window however the password for accessing them (TimeMachine / TimeCapsule password rather than AirPort) does not work. I am 100% sure its the correct password and have even deleted one backup and reinstalled TimeMachine backup for a device, giving it the same password to check if there were any errors with it. This is still not accepted... so the TimeCapsule does not allow restoring from backup because I cannot get past the password, even though its 100% correct. I have noticed the keyboard sign in the top right initially stays selected to US rather than UK which caused problems initially gaining access using the Airport password but I selected UK and deleted US as an option, allowing access past AirPort password. The keyboard however does change back from UK to US when selecting a TimeMachine backup to restore from and I have tried both UK and US keyboard configurations with no avail.
Any ideas??

Thanks. I think this "The backup will simply be copied from the TC to the USB disk with whatever password you have on it." will cause a problem because the existing entered password is not working. Unfortunately I don't think there is a work around for this.
I think if certain characters for passwords are accepted during the initial set up process but do not work for data recover Apple really should fix this. Apple could do this by either by not allowing character combinations or resolving the country keyboard switching (UK to US or other) because it does not make sense to allow the passwords to be entered only for it to be revoked when needed. After all this is the whole value proposition of TimeMachine backups making ti not fit for purpose in this scenario. I had an issue a few days ago were I needed to install from a backup but was not able to due to this password problem. Fortunately the Mac could gain access to the applications / files / folders by 'entering TimeMachine' but this was not ideal.
So I think your fix will work for future passwords but there seems no way to retain existing backups.

Settings>iTunes and App Stores>Tap your ID and sign out. Reboot your iPad.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
Go back to the settings and sign back in again and see of it works now.
If it doesn't work, post back with some information that might help us help you. Describe what you are doing in some detail and it might let us better understand why this is happening.

I got a MacBook Pro today. The previous owner had Apple wipe it clean for the new owner, me. When I first tried putting my wifi password in, I wasn't remembering exactly what it was, so I tried many different possibilities. Since then, I found my password in my office. I put it in, when it asked for it. But, it's not taking it. It just says searching for networks. And, this is after I identified the correct network. So, I am wondering if perhaps after a number of "tries" does it not accept ANY further attempts ? You know like Banking passwords....you get locked out. I'm wondering if I'm locked out?

No, not like a bank timeout.
Open keychain in your Utilities Folder and look for old router password, or delete wrong passwords.
You can always reset your router password to something new that you can remember.

Hi I have had nothing but problems today I think my account has been hacked. Couldn't log in to Skype on PC or iPad kept saying my password was incorrect, though same password I have always had. I changed my password by having Skype send me a new one to my email. I activated it and created new password and all good. IN the middle of a call it shut down suddenly and when I tried to log on again, it said it didn't recognise the password I only just created that had worked already. Kept trying and still nothing. So I went to create a THIRD password and now skype is saying my email address doesn't exist. I have had this account for years and they only just sent me a new password to that email address so it certainly does exist. Left for a few hours and now tried again and it says i have tried too many times today. I have actually tried to create new account to be able to use skype. Can anyone explain what is happening? I am currently scanning for viruses but i really want to be able to use my old account with all my contacts on it rather than start from scratch! My mother in law is having the same problem with her account so I wonder if it's a virus?? At the same time I have started receiving a bunch of emails from 'skype' in Chinese so I assume this is connected somehow? Please any ideas on how to fix this?!

If the iPhone isn't accepting the Restrictions passcode (which can differ from the normal access passcode), you'll need to restore the device.
If you lose or forget your Restrictions passcode, you'll need to perform a factory restore to remove it.

To change the iCloud ID ("email") you have to go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, provide the password for the old ID when prompted to turn off Find My iDevice, then sign back in with the ID you wish to use. When you do this you may find that the password for your old ID isn't accepted. If this should happen, and if your old ID is an earlier version of your current ID, you need to temporarily recreate your old ID by going to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iDevice on your device, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then save any photo stream photos that you wish to keep to your camera roll. When finished go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was. Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.

Where is your UME running? On the java engine, on an ABAP system or at a LDAP?
What i want to say is that your user has to gain the rights to connect to the SLD. Easiest way is to give you admin rights - to do that you have to know where your userstore is running....
I am not sure if this is correct http://localhost:50000/sld
Normally it should look like http://my.sap.com/56600/sld where my.sap.com is a fqdn and 56600 is the port of the java engine. 66 ist the system number of the as java.
ZBAPI? I do not really know but i think you have to use a jco to connect...

Change User password not working in SAP ME 6.0

In SAP ME 6.0 SP01 6.0.1.0 Counter 40, the activity "Change User Password" does not work for me or any other user.
The activity window (Netweaver) shows, but in the top it says "An error occurred - contact system administrator".
This is the output from the default trace file. Seems my user is not authorized, but where do I set this authorization?

Change User Password screen is in fact user self services screen of NW UME and to access it, user must have Manage_My_Password action. Installation and Security Guide ask to assign this action to all roles.

When attempting to download software, the password I've always used has not been working. When I click on the question mark, the "loading" symbol just comes on and never turns off. I thought I changed the password just now, but it still is not working.

Reset Password starting from Recovery HD
Start the computer,then press and hold down command and R keys to start into recovery partition.
When you see the Apple logo, release the keys.
Wait until OS X Utilities window shows up.
Move the mouse to the menubar at the top and click "Utilities", then select "Terminal"
from the drop down.
Terminal window will appear.
Type in resetpassword and press enter on the keyboard.
Leave the Terminal window open.
Reset Password Utility window will open with Macintosh HD selected.
Select the user account from the popup menu box.
Enter a new password.
Reenter the new password for the user.
Enter a hint.
Click the "Save" button.
Click  in the menubar and select Restart.
Log in.
If Keychain dialog box appears, select “Create New Keychain”.

You went wrong at the very beginning by not erasing the hard drive of a used computer before starting to use it yourself. I suggest you do that now.
Back up all data to at least two different storage devices.
Boot into Recovery (command-R at startup), launch Disk Utility, and erase the startup volume. This operation will destroy all data on the volume, so you had be better be sure of your backups. Install OS X. If your Mac was upgraded from an older version of OS X, you’ll need the Apple ID and password you used to upgrade, so make a note of those before you begin.
When you reboot, you'll be prompted to go through the initial setup process. That’s when you transfer the data from one of your backups. For a walkthrough, see here:

Don't transfer the Guest account, if it was enabled on the old system.
Note: You need an always-on Ethernet or Wi-Fi connection to the Internet to use Recovery. It won’t work with USB or PPPoE modems, or with proxy servers, or with networks that require a certificate for authentication.
