Timeframe always defaults to '3' even when other value on screen variant

Hi there
I have created a screen variant and transaction variant for transaction BBPSC04 to change the "Timeframe" (GS_SEARCH_FIELD-SELECTION_DATE) field value to '4' and the "Including Completed Shopping Carts" (GS_SEARCH_FIELD-WITH_CLOSED) field value to 'X' using transaction SHD0. On tcode SHD0 the 'Content' field indicates the new values and the 'W. content' field is selected for the fields with new values.
When I execute the transaction all the new variant values are indicated except the "Timeframe"-field. This field always defaults to '3' no matter what value you indicate in the variant.
I see some hardcode in the func grp BBP_PDH_SEARCH where this field is defaulted to value '3'.
It seems like a SAP program error. Anyone familiar with this?

It seems to be a bug in the system. Please raise a customer OSS message with SAP on this.

Macbook Pro cannot connect to the internet even when others can

Hi! Please help me. We have an internet WIFI connection in our office but only my MacBook Pro cannot connect even when I entered the correct password. My Iphone and Ipad work just fine. It says "connection timeout" but all other laptops can connect. I tried network diagnostics already and it always say "connection timeout". I dont know what to do anymore.

Yes, and when I open the Network Utility it shows a working IP address, and a 54Mb/s speed from the wireless router. It even shows the shared computers from my roomates. But when I try to access the internet it does not load anything on Safari or Firefox ( or any other internet application for that matter). It is completely unconnected. YET, As soon as I activate the AirPort card on the top right where I have my signal strength, it shows on the Network Utility information that there are 'packages' being sent and received, and I have NO programs open what so ever, I have closed everything except finder and network utility... Does this mean I am being hacked, or have some sort of Trojan or something in my computer? I ran an antivirus that my school provided, called Virex by McAfee, it came out clean except it says it cannot read one file.
I tried repairing my disk, and that did not work either. I did the Ram reset like you suggested, but that also did not work. I doubt it being a hardware error. I am going to try to connect it to an ethernet cable to see if that will work. Then I will let you know what happens with that, but that would still not be a solution since I need it wireless, cause the router is in another part of the house.

Saving as JPG - CS5 defaults to PSD, even when flattened

I'm frustrated by this issue and cannot find a solution, I apologize if this has been addressed before but I couldn't find it.
When I go to save an image the "file format" drop down box defaults to PSD every time, rather than the original format of the image. This happens even when the image is flattened and regardless of bit depth. It doesn't seem like that big of a deal to simply drop down the box & select "JPG" but when you're working hundreds of images it becomes time consuming. Sometimes when I change the format it tells me that I must save it as a copy & automatically adds "copy" to the file name. I have specific file naming so I have to manually delete this in order to save over the original file.
This is a fairly recent (year or so) issue because I used to be able to use my programmable keyboard to do this and it made things SO fast! Now I'm forced to use the regular keyboard/mouse and it's slowing down my workflow.

It should default to jpeg if the image was already a jpeg and you flattened the image before trying to save.
You might try resetting the photoshop preferences.

Nano always displaying charge indicator even when not plugged in!

Following a recent charge, the nano is permantently displaying the charging indicator whether I have it plugged in or not. This means that even when disconnected and switched off, it shows the symbol and runs down the battery - meaning I have to keep it charging all the time when not in use!
I have had the nano working fine for several months - strange that it's started doing this...
Anyone else had this problem?

mine has started to do the same thing. I have reset the nano 3 times. When I turn it off the "charged battery" icon stays on though the light is off. I plugged it in to the computer and had to reset for the computer to find. After leaving it plugged in for a few hours I unplugged and tried again. Still says "charged" all the time.
I could try a hard reset...., but has any one else experienced this?

Leopard Defaults to Wireless, even when Gigabit ethernet is plugged in...

This is a bit of frustration for me, but after installing 10.5.5, it seems as though leopard defaults to use the wireless connection instead of the "fastest available" connection.
When I plug in ethernet, i stay connected via wireless, even though I have an IP over ethernet. when I try to access ethernet-only local services, I am denied unless I turn off the wireless connection.
This did not happen in previous updates of Leopard. I found that without turning the wireless off I could access the local services just by plugging in the ethernet.
Any ideas?

You can reset the Service Order on the gear drop down in System prefs > Network which might help.
Sorry no idea if or when it changed, I've always just turned Airport off on the menu bar when using my USB mobile modem.

Skype ALWAYS showing as Online, even when i'm not ...

It tells ppl im online even though i am not i have the time and date on both pictures to show it.

There is a work around so that you will be shown offline when you log out from all devices.
1. Sign in to your account in the Skype application in a computer or a laptop.
2. Select any contact then type this to the message box: /showplaces then hit on send.
The /showplaces command will show the instances where you are currently logged in at that time.
3. Now type this command: /remotelogout then hit on send.
It will automatically log you out from your mobile devices, tablet, other laptop except on the one that you are using right now.
Lastly, all you need is to sign out from the Skype application on the computer that you are using and ask a friend if you show as Offline.
This one really works. Believe me

New page defaults to picas even when changed to mm in unit preferences

everytime i open a new document in indesign CC the new document dialog box shows the page measurments as picas even thought i would have changed it to mm in the unit preferences. It just reverts back again.
how can i stop this from happening. i have been able to come up with some work arounds but its just time consuming to do everytime i create a new document.
its really frustrating as i my work is mostly for print and i alway use mm.

Change the preferences with no documents open.
All new documents will have those preferences.

After updating firefox cannot play flash content always asks to install even when i have.

I updated to firefox 7 last night and this morning i cannot play any flash content, ive installed it many times but it always says i need to install it when ever i play flash. Its not listed in the plugins list and when i click to check if im up to date it says flash is out dated and been disabled, update to the latest version, which i have. Why does apple tv always connect to itunes even when I own the movie and it is on my computer?

So I have my entire itunes library on a HD that I bring with my laptop back and forth. My problem is not at my house where I have an internet connection, but it is at my cabin in the woods where I do not have an internet connection. Why is my apple tv always trying to connect to the itunes store whenever the movie I am trying to play is on my computer and on the network? I have an airport express setup creating my network, but like I said I do not have an internet connection. I am just using the AX to give me a wifi network. It is constantly looking for the itunes store. Is there a way to bypass this, or is this a Apple security feature? Thanks

I understand that point. They are mostly bought from iTunes. But, I can watch on my laptop, iPad, iPhone on an airplane or wherever without an Internet connection. So why the hang up on my apple tv, should it not just be an extension of my laptop?

I cannot get the Firefox to search old mail for previous saved emails. It always says none there, even when I see them. Can anyone help?

I have called Apple Store Online today, but they said I should call TNT and they will send my enquiry to others to handle. But reject to tell me who is responsible for the issue.
TNT keeps to tell me they have deliver the item but no one answer. And I told them I have informed them on no one at the delivery address to receipt the good. TNT just do so to claim they have already do their work.

My network is fine, iPad can't connect to internet via any router, even when other computers work fine.

About a week ago, my daughter's iPad2 stopped connecting to the internet. It will connect to some of the routers in the house, but not all, but then just hangs in Safari, netflix, app store...basically anything that requires going online. Even if the signal is super strong and other computers connect to the internet just fine, the iPad just won't.
I've tried everything short of a full reset. We're in IOS 5.1.1. 6 gigs free. She's frustrated because it's summer vacation and she would really like to watch netflix.

I would suggest backing up your iPad and updating it to the latest iOS, which is iOS 6.1.4

How to enter MR results only on one register even when other reg r MR relev

Hi All,
I have Device with 4 registers (1- Cummulative and rest are Balancing) . In the happy flow, i get the MR results from MDMR system and will be uploaded against the respective registers. So no problem.
But when i have exchange or removals, user will have only the register read for R1 to enter but not TOU values for 2/3 and 4 registers. Since 2,3 and 4 are also MR relevant, system will not allow to save without entering.
How to overcome this ?

HI,
You should load ZERO value consumption on R2, R3 and R4. Let the system load it.
At the end of your flow, update the MR status (EABL-ABLSTAT) for R2, R3, R4 to ZERO. Why this action your MR documents will be reset to MR Order status, with the exception on R1, which you which to keep.

Enegaged tone even when other phone rings

provider - sipme (australia).
Changed servers a week ago. Ever since myself and numerous others get an engaged signal after dialing a number. The dialed number rings normally, and if answered connection is fine. The problem is when you dial out you hear an engaged tone no matter if the phoned being dialed is engaged or ringing normally. Provider says the problem is most likely the spa3000. The call progress now uses the 183 call progress signal, the old servers used 180. They postulate the sipura3000 is not interpreting the call progress message correctly.
Anybody have this problem, or know a fix?

on the LINE tab of the SPA3000 there is an option for
Sticky 183 Bool no
If set to yes, SPA will ignore further 180 SIPresponses after receiving the first 183 SIP response for an outbound INVITE.

TS1398 iPhone will not connect to wifi hotspot even when other iphones at the same loaction does.

I have been to serveral malls and restaurants that have free wifi. I can connect using my iPad. Other around me can connect with there iPhones. My iPhone4s goes to the login screen, which is blank. After a couple of minutes, it errors out and says "Hotspot login could not open ....". What is interesting, is that on the devices that do connect, the login screen is not blank and it says it is trying to connect to 192.168.33.1. My iPhone states it is trying to connect to iBook.info or appleiphonecell.com. What the heck is going on? This happened on iOS 6 and now on iOS7.
