TimeKeeper CLA Issue

Hi All ,
I have enabled the CLA functionality at the TimeKeeper Level . Follwing are some of the issues I am encountering :
1) Whenever a change is made by Timekeeper on a approved timecard for a particular day , the timekeeper is forced to enter a change reason for all the days in the week .(instead of only the day in which change was made) .
2) On saving the change on the timecard , the timecard status is changed to "Working" and then the timecard is with the employee again (in "Working") status .
I would like to know , if this is the intended functionality of the application or somethings wrong with my settings in Preference values . Ideally , I do not want the timecard to go back to the employee once the timekeeper has made the change . Any replies are appreciated . Following are my "Timekeeper Change and Late Audit Items" preference values :
Enable Audit Functionality : Yes
Audit Data Entry required : Yes
Notification of Audit Entry by Timekeeper sent to : None

Chandu,
That's the expected functionality of save and submit buttons. What do you expect to happen on save button?
Save is for making some changes and keeping those changes saved till next edit without submitting the timecard. So it is working perfectly fine.

Synchronization issues on OneDrive for Business

Hi,
Our OneDrive for Business experience is very confusing here. We are in the middle of a few synchronization problems that our users don't understand.

Description of the problem
We have a lot of users using OneDrive for Business to synchronize three shared libraries stored on a on-premise installation of SharePoint 2013. The first setup has run (almost) smoothly, and all my users had a synchronized version of the files on the server
(around 2GB of data). We are in the beginning of our deployment, so the users have not used it very intensively yet, and probably this is why problems start appearing.
On computer 1, a file/folder reorganization has been realized within one folder (folder "TRAININGS") of one the libraries: creating new folders, moving files from one folder to another, renaming other folders and deleting old folders. Changes have
been processed, and Computer 1 is now in sync with server: they now share the same file/folder organization under the "TRAININGS" folder. Also, on Computer 1, all folders and files show the "green tick" on their icon, showing that sync
is completed.
On computer 1, the OneDrive icon in the Windows task bar shows the synchronization is complete and does not show any sync issues.
On computer 2, the folder "TRAINING" is a mess. The folder "TRAINING"'s icon has been the "blue arrows" for a while. Inside, I have a mix of "green tick", "blue arrows" and no icon status.
Every now and then, the folder CATEGORIES turns to "green tick", then goes back to "blue arrows".
If we drill down inside the sub-folders, I have the same bahaviour, some folders have "green tick", some other "blue arrows" and some other no icon status. I do not understand the logic.
On Computer 2, no files or folders inside "TRAININGS" folder have never been opened by user "Fra".
However, on SharePoint, I see that some files in the tree of the "TRAININGS" folder that have "last modified by" with name of the user in Computer 2, even though this user "Fra" never modified that precise file. Only user "Cla"
did some modifications on the files and folders.
For example, we are missing folder "TRAININGS\CATEGORIES\CATALOG STRUCTURE" on Computer 2.
I do not understand what is going wrong there...
Questions already answered:
To save time for diagnosis:
1. Does the issue only happen on the Computer 2? Please choose a PC and login with a problematic which have different issue to see what will happen.
No, it happens also on a different PC, but with different status for each file.
2. Have the files they upload met the restrictions of syncing SharePoint libraries?
No they have not:
No special character in File Name
524 files and 257 folders in the library
Max length of full folder and file name is 157 characters.
No invalid file types
I have no idea if any file is open on any computer, and have no way of knowing it, with users all over the world.
3. Have you tried to repair OneDrive for Business via right-clicking the OneDrive for Business icon then clicking repair? If not, please give it a shot and provide us with the result.
Repair has been tested and does not help.
4. Could you please clean the cache of OneDrive for Business to see if the issue persists?
I have already tried deleting the Office Offline Cache on a similar problem one week ago. It is a pain in the neck since I have to do it on all my users who have problem (starts to be a lot), it involves re-downloading the whole contents of the libraries
(2GB) and it does NOT solve the problem since it reappears one week later on a different set of files.
Full delete of Office Offline Files temporarily solves the incident until the problem occurs again later. So doesn't help either.
Please keep in mind I have over 30 other computers that have these libraries synced in 4 different countries, and I do not know whether they are properly synced or not. Repairing or resetting on the client computers is not an option if I am not sure I have
completely solved the problem and I know for sure it will not happen again.
5. How many files in these shared libraries? Generally, when suing OneDrive for Business, we don't recommend uploading/syncing a lot of files at a time.
The folder "TRAININGS" where all changes have been made contains only 64 files and 42 folders.
The library which contains the "TRAININGS" folder contains 524 files and 257 folders. But these files and folders have not been touched, except for the "TRAININGS" folder.
I believe I am way under the 100 files that have moved at the same time.
6. How long has the problem been waiting for? Have you tried letting it solve by itself?.
Today, after 12 hours, Computer 2, 3 and 4 are still in the same state, synchronization is stuck.
Can you please help me diagnose the issue and make sure it does not happen again?

New update that might help.
I have noticed on Computer 2 an anormal growth of the "%USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Office\15.0\OfficeFileCache" folder.
The total synced libraries (both with Office365 and with on-premise SharePoint) have a size of 5.5 GB.
The OfficeFileCache folder has a size of 21.6GB and is growing by the minute.
If I pause the sync, the folder stops growing. If I resume the sync, the folder grows.
The changes are the following:
File CentralTable21873.accdb has different date modified, but size remains the same.
Files FSD-{id}.FSD (131,072 bytes) and FSF-{id}.FSF (114 bytes) are created. These files are created by pair, almost every second.

If I delete those files, and restart OneDrive, they just keep being recreated.

Opening and closing Multiple TCP connections issues

Hi all I am having an issue with the TCP VI’s and wondering if anyone has experienced this issue.
My application is required to scan 50-100 IP addresses (statically assigned) and discover if an Ethernet device is connect at that IP address. Currently I am able to achieve this by opening a TCP connection and testing the error cluster to determine if a timeout has occurred (no timeout error means Ethernet device available at the IP address). I then ensure that the TCP connections are closed.
The issue I am have is that I require a 1 second delay between the TCP open and the TCP close which significantly slows down the process. Without the 1 second delay the vi successfully connects to the device once then fails to make any TCP connect regardless of the time delay until the PC is reset.
If anyone has any advice I would be very grateful

While I don't have a specific answer for this problem. I want to clarify for him. I believe the issue is, what if all connections ARE there? That means you keep returning a wait of 1 second 50-100 times so It takes 50-100 seconds just to initialize. I think the user is looking for a way to check for valid connections, but do so in such a way that eliminates the need for a wait which is greatly slowing things down.

Read-only file issue in PQA

We found an issue in the 1.0.0.4 version of PQA. When selecting a media reference file the 'Frames' indicator is not populated and the file path remains greyed-out if the file is marked as read-only. When it is not read-only everything is peachy keen. I didn't see anything about this in the documentation so it's possible a lucky Austinite just won a FREE CAR!

Newbie Simple app issue most likely related to user coding error

I'm fairly new to the Cyberflex infrastructure and most likely the issue is with my CODE. Basically, I wrote a simple java cardlet without much error checking to try to retrieve a stored object on the card such as a userId. What I think I'm missing or don't understand is how to capture the incoming APDU and respond to it within the process method.
Error:
I keep getting a [6C 01] status word return code? Is this a valid Status Word?
Environment Setup:
Compiler: jdk1.3.1
Axalto SDK: 4.4
Card: Cyberflex e-gate 32k (not personalized and it has no pin assigned to it)
OS: Windows 2K

An oversight on my part that was discovered by a second set of eyes.
1. Invalid expected return size was specified.

Recently we upgraded our BW system from BW 3.0B to BW 3.5.In BW 3.5,we created a planning area to which we
assigned a transactional cube.Now when we are going for creating variables or planning levels for the planning area it
gives the following error:

Pof Serialization issue

Hi guys,
I get an "unknown user type issue" for only one class defined in my pof-config-file. The rest are ok which is the part I can't get my head round.

Everything seems to load ok. In fact, just to confirm, I messed up some tags in the xml file and I got problems. So it's finding the file ok.

I may have "by accident" solved the problem but I am not sure since I have to test properly. It appears that if I define the PofSerialization stuff in the pof-context.xml, which is then referenced from my coherence-cache-config.xml, I should not set the tangosol.pof.enabled=true flag.
I was basically trying to turn of pof so that I could test something else in my code but it appears that just by removing that flag in the cache-server.sh script (which I had added earlier), the problem disappeared and coherence is still using pof.
What am I missing? Is this behaviour correct?If you remove the tangosol.pof.enabled flag from the Java properties, then POF by default will not be used.
On the other hand if you still have POF configured for certain services with the <serializer> element referring to a PofContext implementation e.g. ConfigurablePofContext, then those services (and only those services) will use POF.

1. User need access to do timekeep as well as query . In order to process the time keep task one of the transaction used in the process is CATS_APPR_LITE which requires P_ABAP in the role or by transaction ( Se93 added P_abap object) .
From the query side role this should not have P_ABAP since giving access to this will have access to sensitive data even though the roles are restricted by Personal area or structural authorisation.
If both roles are assigned to users then P_ABAP from the timekeep role will overwrite the query roles and users get access to data for which they should not see .
We have created dual sign on to avoid this task but is there a better way that users can do this task by just single id.

Issues in creating Java based web services with JAXB 1.0 in Jdeveloper 10 g

I am trying out a simple java based web service creation exercise using Jdeveloper 10.1.3.3.0.3 and JAXB 1.0. Here is what I am trying to do.
1. I have a XSD file called Status.xsd, which has three complex types in it.
2. Using Jdeveloper Tools --> JAXB Compilation, I have created Jaxb classes for the above XSD files. For each of the complex type the jaxb class generator generated on IMPL clas and one abstract class.
3. Now I have created one simple java class called Class1.java and created one method that takes the StatusImpl as input and as output for that method. Here is the code for Class1.java

CAUSE
This issue occurs because the required discretionary access control list (DACL) for some files has been deleted. The DACL is deleted when you install Active Directory on the member server or when you run the DCPromo command on the domain controller.

Hi,
the MSI file is the MSI file to install the SQL Server Embedded Edition. Normally it is called during the installation of the package you have installed (WSUS or other). If possible you should extract the package you have installed and look for a sql*.msi file. I'm only familiar with WSUS in this case. Here it is a sqlrun03.msi file together with a sqlrun.cab and a sqlservr.exe file. With this MSI file you can install the SQL Server. In your case (AD) you have to look for exact SQL MSI file within you package.
Another way would be to set the ACL of the given path (with the master.* files) so that the startup account of the Microsoft##SSEE service has appropriate rights on it.

FPGA Read/Write Control Issues

Hello all! Rather new to using FPGA, but I have an interesting issue that's popping up.
Currently pulling in RAW voltage data from a set of sensors (Pressure Transducers, Load Cells, etc) through a cRIO DAQ. Have the FPGA file setup to pull in that data already and have the main VI and all the sub-VIs working just fine.
What I'm trying to do is save the raw voltage data (TDMS files) on the lower level and the convert and display on the upper level so that I don't have to convert and save (speed up saving data). So that leaves 3 distinct levels/sections:
On FPGA that pulls in the raw data
On FPGA that saves the raw data
Main VI that does all the controls/conversions/displays etc.
Number two is where I'm having an issue. I want to save all the data in parallel so I'm creating a save FPGA for each I/O device (8 Relays to command solenoid valves, 3 Pressure Transducers, 1 Load Cell, 4 Thermocouples). To do this I want to create a separate VI for each device (not sure if that's a smart thing to do).
The issue I'm having is when I use the FPGA Read/Write control to read in from the Target and save to the TDMS. When I only use a single FPGA target reference the lines are broken, but as soon as I switch to two targets, it now works.
Any reason why it might be doing this? Any ideas/suggestions at all on how to go about setting this up in general?

HRA is not calculating properly, in IT581 eligibility value is calculated as zero.
If suppose if I am changing this Rent amount to 10000, I am gettiing this error message

Timecard submitted from OTL Timekeeper screen is auto approved.

Hi all
Timecards submitted from OTL Timekeeper screen are auto approved even if I set the Time Store Approval Style preference to Supervisor Approval and link the preference to Timekeeper responsibility using Eligibility Criteria tab.
I am expecting the timecard should go for an approval to supervisor since the approval style preference is set to Supervisor Approval but its auto approved as soon as the timecard is submitted. May I know the reason why the timecard is auto approved or am I missing any setup to send the approval notification to supervisor. Here the customer would like send the approval notification to supervisor if the timecard is submitted from timekeeper screen. Please advice.
Please note that timecard submitted from self-service time is sending the approval notification to supervisor as expected.

Thanks for the response.
As per my understading, prefereces linked to responsibility wouldn't be considered if the timecard is submitted for approval through timekeeper. In my case, i have three different users employee, admin & manager. If either employee or admin submit the timecard then it should be sent to approval for manager. If manager submits the timecard then the timecard should be autoapproved. Pls note that all three will be using three different responsibilities to submit the timecard. I have created 4 differents of preferences.
The preferences are linked as follows:
Default preferece (Auto Approval) linked to All People with precedence 10
Employee preference (Supervisor Approval ) linked to Self-Service Time responsibility with precedence 20
Admin preference (Supervisor) linked to OTL time-keeper responsibility with precedence 30.
Manager preference(Auto Approval) linked to OTL Super Time-Keeper responsibility with precedece 40.
With the above setup, approvals are working fine as expected but if the timecard is submitted by admin then it's getting auto-approved.
To fix the issue, i have changed the setup slightly as below
Default preferece (Supervisor Approval ) linked to All People with precedence 10
Employee preference (Supervisor Approval ) linked to Self-Service Time responsibility with precedence 20
Admin preference (Supervisor) linked to OTL time-keeper responsibility with precedence 30.
Manager preference(Auto Approval) linked to OTL Super Time-Keeper responsibility with precedece 40.
With this setup, timecard submitted by admin is going for an approval to manager (as desired) but if manager submits the timecard then the workflow sends a notification to the manager for approval which is not expected.
Is there anyway to have different approval styles for both manager & admin. If admin submits then it should be sent for approval otherwise if manager submits then it should be auto approved.

Urgent:TimeCard entries thro TimeKeeper not getting posted

We are creating TimeCards for a set of employees thro TimeKeeper,however this is not getting posted although we run the following programs
1.Transfer time from OTL to BEE
2.Validate for BEE
3.Transfer to BEE.
TimeCard is in a Approved State and there are no errors.
Can somebody pls advise what needs to be done?

We are able to xfer successfully from SelfService to HRMS and neither the time Card is locked when we transfer from Timekeeper.

Multiple Assignments in Timekeeper entry form

We are trying to setup multiple assignments for Timekeeper.
We followed the whitepaper out on Metalink and got most of the stuff working.
Now, we are showing a list of jobs for each employee to choose from whether it is primary job or secondary job.
The issue that we are getting into, how do we filter the list just for the employee that we are entering timecard for.
This is doable in Self service using right conditions but not clear on how to do this in timekeeper.
Has anyone done this before?
Any help will be appreciated.

I presume you have a specific column in TK for the job and that you have linked this through the TK layout preference.
Have you tried making the LOV behind this column dependent on the employee id of the row you are querying? Not sure if it's possible, but worth a try.
Otherwise, I would suggest that you create a Time Entry Rule which is linked to a TER Group just for the TK. The TER could then do the validation to make sure you don't select an invalid value for the employee. It's a bit late in the process, but would prevent errors.
This TER has been used on my projects to ensure that the hours type selected is valid for the employee. This is a simialr scenario.
