Timekeeper?

Is there a possibility in Adobe Bridge CS4 where I can keep record of the time a document was open? Maybe trough Metadata?
I want to make a 'semi-automatic' timekeeper trough bridge.
It would be a great help to me.

Not Bridge. Bridge doesn't open
anything.
In Photoshop preferences you can opt to include the file History Log either as a text file or in the metadata of the image, and you can decide what kind of history you wan to keep, Detailed, Concise, Sessions Only.
Photoshop > Preferences > General > History Log > Save Log Items to: >
Bridge is not an image editor, it's just an image browser that hands the image files to the appropriate application, be it Photoshop, Adobe Camera Raw, Illustrator, even MS Word or whatever. Bridge does not open files, it doesn't save files, it doesn't "edit" them either, and it doesn't "write" them to anything. The only thing Bridge allows you to do to a file is edit (some of)
its metadata, not the image itself.

Adding Dependent LOVs in Timekeeper

Hi,
I added 2 new fields (field1 and field2) in Timekeeper and both are showing up with correct values.
But then I wanted field2 to show values depending on what I chose in field1. I did this by modifying the field2 value set and adding a condition where column in field2 = fnd_profile.value('OTL_TK_ATTR_1') but it's not working.
In the Timekeeper Preferences, I placed field1 as Timekeeper Layout Item 4 and field2 as Timekeeper Layout Item 5. I even tried the condition where column in field2 = fnd_profile.value('OTL_TK_ATTR_4') because I was thinking that the OTL_TK_ATTR numbering is dependent on the order of your Timekeeper Layout Item in preferences, but this doesn't work as well.
1st Question - Would anyone know how to add 2 new columns in Timekeeper where the 2nd column depends on the value of the 1st column?
2nd Question - The Timekeeper LOVs only show 1 column which is the display value. Is it possible to make it show several columns of information?

How to get OTL Alternate Name From (Timekeeper or Employee) Preference

Values (DFF)
Payroll Element (ATTRIBUTE1) “LEAVE NO PAY”
Expenditure Type (ATTRIBUTE2) “Absence No Pay”
System Type (ATTRIBUTE3) “SYTEM”
ID (ATTRIBUTE4) “Employee”)

My Question is how I can build a query to get the Alternate Name for that selected Leave. I am able to get the element easily, I use to do it when there is one to one relationship between ELEMENT & ALTERNATE NAME.

Your question is not clear. Why do you want to get the alternate name?
You can always get that from the employee OTL preference setup and yes, based on whether you check the employee or the TK , it will be different.

What does "Locked" status really mean in FPGA Timekeeper

The help says, "FPGA Timekeeper locked is TRUE if the FPGA Timekeeper has locked on to and is tracking the given time reference."
That's not very specific.
- The Timekeeper is only "tracking the given time reference" when "Sync Time.vi" is called by the code, right? Otherwise isn't it just predicting time base on the FPGA clock cycle, and apparently some filtering, gain and interpolation? That wouldn't really be tracking the time reference.
- Is the Timekeeper checking the interval at which Sync Time.vi is called?
- Is it comparing the offset of the two time values input to Sync Time.vi to its internal prediction?
- Is it making some judgement after a series of Sync Time.vi calls (how many?) that it has figured out the relative variations between the time reference and the FPGA clock? How does it make that judgement?
- If a long time passes between Sync Time.vi calls does it decide it has lost its lock?
- Does calling Time Synce too frequently or too infrequently contribute to not achieving locked status, or to losing it?
Thanks for the help! I love the idea of the FPGA Timekeeper but I don't know how to interpret the lock. I can get the offset from the time reference, but what I'd really love to know is the size of the error when calling Time Synce.vi.

The article below indicates that when using the FPGA Timekeeper with NI-9467 hardware, you will be able to correlate absolute time with system events at an accuracy of around 100 ns.

Adding comment in the OTL Timecard ( in both timekeeper entry & Self-Service)

Hi all,
I need to add a new comment field in the timecard (both the timekeeper entry page & the Timecard Self-Service page).
I am going through the white paper "Configuring The Oracle Time and Labor Timecard User Interface" currently.
what i understand is modifying the LDT file will allow me to add the desired comment in the TimeCard Self Service page, while I need it to be exist in the Timekeeper Entry page also.
i should be able to enter the employee timecard with my comment in the new comment field using the timekeeper entry page and submit it for approval. The approver should be able to review and see my comment in the employee timecard self service page.
what are the required steps to have the new comment field exist in both layouts?
also, is it possible to add the comment not as a new column, can we add the field just beside the seeded comment in the Timekeeper Entry down beside the Select All/Deselect All button?
Note: I am using the Payroll TimeCard Layout.

We would like to take the employee time cards being entered into the (OTL Self Service Time Entry) and once approved, have them automatically populate the OTL Timekeeper by employee. These employees are already defined in various Timekeeper groups. Once the supervisor opens up that group in Timekeeper they will be able to export those employee time records to an excel spreadsheet for further data manipulation. That's our end goal.
The question I have is, how does the upload from (OTL Self Service Time Entry to OTL Timekeeper) happen?
Does it happen once the employee time card has been approved?
or
Do you have to launch some type of concurrent job, etc?
I just can't find that process answer and what if anything that needs to be done.

Web ADI export button disabled in OTL Super Timekeeper responsiblity

In the OTL Super Timekeeper responsiblity, the export button is disabled for exporting the time details. How to enable this button so that data can be exported to Excel sheets.

Did you do the setup required to enable the Web ADI on this form? Web ADI doesn't work by default. Check metalink for directions.

OTL Self Service Time Card to OTL Timekeeper

Hi All,
I'm new to the Oracle HRMS module and have a question. Can you update OTL Timekeeper with time cards from OTL Self Service? I did read a very brief, one or two line sentence in one of the implementation manuals that said you could. However, at this point, I have researched in vein and still cannot find any information as to how or what should be done.

Adding Display Only Assignment info on OTL timekeeper Entry form.

My company is using OTL timekeeper Entry PUI form to record the attendance of employees. Our users want to have Employee's Organization from primary assignment to be automatically populated in a static field so that they can check if employee is in right organization or not at the time of data entry.
I don't want to add LOV using alternate names in the form because it requires additional button clicks for the users.
Can anyone help how we can add static field (Just like employee name appear after we add employee id) for Organization name in PUI Timekeeper Entry form?

Follow the OTL api guide and check your code. If your code is proper, timecard should get updated properly.

Hey everyone, I'm trying to put together a package for this, as it is not available through the official repos or on the AUR yet. If using the pre-compiled source, it's a piece of cake to set up, but I'm trying to build from source as I know it is preferred.
The PKGBUILD, as it currently stands, is below. makepkg -s fails due to build errors. I believe this is due to one of the dependencies (superWaba?) not being present. The problem is, I do not know where, nor how, to get it or compile it. I know one of the other errors that causes a failed build is due to the build.xml included with the source using some odd default folder destinations, and I'm working on fixing that as well.

Required Parallel Approval from OTL Timekeeper Entry Form

Is it possible to perform parallel approval from OTL timekeeper entry form? it is using the following workflow OTL Seeded Approval Workflow HXCSAW(i think) if it is using this workflow can we change this workflow or need to write a new workflow for above mentioned requirement.

Hi,
HXCSAW is a custom workflow which do nothing accept approving and that can be change as per customer requirement. This child workflow called by parent workflow process HXCEMP. If u going to change the HXCSAW then u also need to change the seeded package associated with this workflow to embed your logic.
We have done it through SSHR timesheet entry page, no idea if OTL timekeeper entry form carries approval or not.
Whts the nature of ur parallel approval ? and how u can able to manage if via workflow ?

OTL: Additional Input Values on Timekeeper

Hello team,
I have a requirement where I need to have an additional field on Timekeeper form called "Unique Hours". For this I did the following steps:
1. Created this additional input value in the relevant element.
2. Added to element set and ran Generate... process.
3. Created a value set.
4. Registered the input value + value set in Alternate Name Mapping and then with Alternate Name Definition.
5. Also put in the Alternate Names Definition for timekeeper.
After doing this, I can see the new field on the TK screen and enter value in it but it doesnt transfer to BEE.
I need some real help on this please.
