Timeline edits not displaying in Program Monitor

My issue is when trimming a clip in my sequence timeline, I'm no longer seeing the clip displayed in the Program Monitor as I attempt to edit either by keyboard shortcut or with the move Tool. (it remains black throughout)
Is there a simple setting I changed that disabled this? I've tried resetting the workspace to default, but I'm unable to view clips I'm trimming in any monitor in realtime, only after making changes.
Also - When I scrub through the clips will play, just not when trimming.
Does anyone know the solution to this please?

Early 2011 15inch MacBook Pro not displaying on external monitor

I have an early 2011 15 inch MacBook Pro and I tried to connect it to a Samsung U28D590D 4k display. My computer is recognizing it as a monitor and saying that the output resolution is 2560x1440, which is what I expected considering my graphics card is an Intel HD Graphics 3000 512 MB and my chipset is an AMD Radeon HD 6490M with 256VRAM. I just don't know why its not displaying on the monitor. Any help will be very appreciated.

Question about going from source monitor into timeline prior to going into program monitor?

In FCP you had to take a clip from the equivalent of the Source Monitor to the Program Monitor and either do an insert or overwite edit with the clip from there. I see that Premiere has insert and overwrite buttons built right into the Source monitor window. Are there any issues with doing it all from here and not dragging them into the Program Monitor first?

Typical NLE behavior is to go from the Source Monitor to the Timeline. The Program Monitor shows whatever is in the timeline. If FCP forced you to go from Source to Program, and then to timeline, that is very unusual behavior for an NLE since, again, the Program monitor is supposed to show you what's in the timeline.
What PP now allows you to do is drag a clip from Source to Program, but this will simultaneously add the clip to the timeline because, as I said, the Program Monitor's purpose is to show you what's in the timeline. With most any NLE out there, if it ain't in the timeline, it won't show up in the Program Monitor. And if it shows up in the Program Monitor, then it must already be in the timeline.

Images Not Displaying in Program...

I have my jar executable packaged along with all the images for my program packed into a .exe using jsmooth. The resulting executable works great and loads and displays images properly. I coded to use arguments so I can have the capability of using windows "open with" and defaulting my program to a filetype. When I open that filetype, the program works correctly, but the images are not displayed. I go back and execute the executable and there they are again, just not when I run it using arguments. Any reason why this behavior is happening? Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks!

The only place I can execute the program to get the images to load is the desktop. Even if I go back into jsmooth and rebuild it to put the executable in another directory, it still doesn't load the images. Only when it's moved to the desktop does it display the images...
Is there a way I can put images into my jar executable or have them more locally available to my program? Can I link them in from the net?

MacBook will not display on external monitor in clamshell mode

System information:
13 in. MacBook (2.4Ghz Intel 2-Core)
10.6.7
External Display connected with Apple DisplayPort VGA adapter
Apple Wireless Keyboard
Generic wireless mouse that connects to a USB stick plugged into the MacBook
This is dirving me nuts because it was working perfectly until about 2 weeks ago. I was following the pocess outlined here. http://support.apple.com/kb/HT3131
Here is what happens now:
MacBook display and external monitor are in mirroring mode. All devices are powered on and plugged in.
Close MacBook lid. MacBook goes to sleep. Blinking LED.
Hit spacebar on the Apple Bluetooth keyboard. The LED changes to steady on. However, the external display never shows the desktop. I've tried Command-F1... nothing.
If I open the lid again... the MacBook goes back to sleep.
I then have to pull out the DisplayPort VGA adapter to wake the MacBook up again.

You could try resetting the SMC and see if that helps.

Premiere 1.5 to CS4 - timeline does not display previous setup PLEASE

New to the forum: (Had to upgrade SW; Updated to VISTA. Premiere 1.5 would not reload.)
Opening older Premiere 1.5 files into Premiere CS4.
After relocating all the files, the timeline does not show the videos, audios, cuts and oranization that was previously done in Premiere 1.5.
Nothing is in the timeline.
What can be done? PLEASE Help

T530 - Dual boot not displayed on external monitor when docked

Hi,
I just got my new T530, loaded all my applications and data from my T61. The T530 is connected to the 4338 docking station.
I have Win 7 on the internal disk, and Win 8 on the ultrabay disk.
Dual boot works fine when undocked, but when docked and the lid is closed I don't see the dual boot selection on the external monitor and the PC boots into Win 7 (which is my default OS).
When cold or warm booting I also don't see the Thinkpad splash screen.
I did not have this problem with my T61 when docked. There the splash screen and dual boot selection was displayed and I was able to select which OS I want to boot into.
Any ideas whet I can do here?

As I came across this it's a matter of the two graphic cards and how they are shared.
The Intel always drives the Laptop-Display and the analogue port, the digitalports at the docking are all driven by the Nvidia Card.
The splashscreen will always be displayed with the intel card and therefore not be visible with the digital ports at the docking.

MBP not displaying to external monitor at startup, but does after login

After I installed Yosemite my MBP will not automatically display to my external monitor (HDMI) when I start it up. I have to first login to my MBP and then my external monitor is immediately recognized and my mirroring desktops works as intended...as it did before I upgraded to Yosemite. I have no idea why the signal to my external monitor doesn't/will not work upon system start up. Anyone out there know??

Did you find a solution? I have the exact same problem. I just install Yosemite and did not have the problem before.

Will not display on most monitors.. very frustrating..

I purchased my MBA a couple weeks ago and have successfully been able to connect 1 monitor (over VGA).
I have tried two projectors (neither will work, although it will detect both of them) and it will not connect to my Viewsonic at home (both my other macbook and macbook pro work fine on it).
It's extremely frustrating.. I'm finding this MBA to be the most flakey laptop I've ever owned.. Anyone have and advice?

I configured system monitoring but I can`t see Database conponent (ex.SID_database) .
I can see another components that are servers and systems (ex.host_SID_SNO)
I checked database in SMSY and rfc commuication is trustconnection between SOLMAN and ERP
Another Servers (ex. BW, XI, EP) are displayed Database component.
how can I solve this problem

I found many entry in 'Configure Table Columns' area.
But first column's radio buttons are not displaied.

this problem might due to your jdk version installed chk whether it is 1.4.2.x if it is more than it den re install the above mentioned version since dat does support n bcoz of which the radio buttons are not being shown.

Mac mini not displaying on HDMI monitor

Well, I have a Mid-2011 mac mini, and I have this monitor problem. While my thunderbolt moniter always works, (with a VGA adapter) my HDMI port hardly ever works. I have dual monitors, one HDMI and one VGA. They are both the same exact monitor (Dell Monitors) which both have VGA and HDMI ports. One is using the HDMI and one is using VGA. The HDMI one is all ste up, and has worked in the past, but it is currently not working at all right now. The VGA one always works, but the HDMI one switches on and off and either works at some point, then after a computer resart, it refuses to work. I belive its my computer that is refusing ti regognize it or something. Any hints help!

Why does my firefox 9.0.1 occasionlly stay open after I have closed it and it's not displayed on my monitor?

I still use Win XP sp 3. My firefox browser doesn't do it very much. I will have everything else closed out except my firefox. I'm not doing anything differently than should be done to finish. I will click the X to close. Then, I want to go right back into firefox and what happens next is the point I'm talking about. When I click my desktop icon, a box comes up that says, "Firefox is already running, but is not responding. You must first close the existing firefox process or restart your system." The problem being, is that there is nothing on my screen but my desttop.

If it is good in the Firefox SafeMode, your problem is probably caused by an extension, and you need to figure out which one. <br />

Image Not Showing Up Properly In Program Monitor

Hey guys, I am trying to do some animation with photographs. I was able to easily import them(they are in .jpg format)but when I drag them to the video section of the timeline. The image in the program monitor is only the very center portion of my image, and I can't figure out what is going on. Only an extremely small portion of the image shows up. It shows up fine in the source monitor but not in the program monitor. I tried changing views and everything but nothing worked.
The resolution of the images are 3872 x 2592. I don't know if my resolution is limited or some settings are wrong or if I am doing something stupid... Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance!

Use Photoshop to adjust the image size to reflect your project size. You can use actions to batch convert all your images in one go. That requires a new import of the adjusted images into your project. An alternative might be to rename the current image directory, start PP and when asked where the image files are, browse to the newly created directory with the smaller images.

Mozilla firefox does not display Notepad++ web programming

mozilla firefox does not display notepad++ programming of web page and does not connect css files. Currntly programs using CSS + html5.

Could you check in the lower right corner of Notepad++ what character encoding is being used for your documents. (See screen shot attached.) Some encodings, particularly UTF-16 encodings, have caused other users problems with external content not loading. It is best to use the same encoding for all of your pages, style sheets, scripts, etc.
