Timeline loops to beginning after reaching end, how do I stop this.

Hello everyone,
This is probably a simple fix but I can't find it. I did a search but nothing came up that related to it. My problem is this. When I am playing the timeline and it gets to the end, it restarts at the beginning. I looked in the sequence settings but did not find an option for it. Its really annoying when editing.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

You've toggled Loop Playback on. The keyboard shortcut - in case you pressed this accidently during editing - is Control-L.
Pressing Control-L once more should toggle it off.

If it appears in the Dock, control-click it and uncheck Open at Login. Otherwise, open the Accounts pane of System Preferences and remove it as well as anything which may launch it from the list of login items for your user account.

If this is an iCloud account the Outbox only appears when sending an email, so if it is still trying I suppose it should be showing now (not sure though, hard to replicate this)

To expand a little on John's questions and link, every clip and every sequence has its own frame dimensions (and pixel aspect ratio & frame rate). By default, Premiere preserves the dimensions (or "resolution") of a clip when you add it to a sequence. That means that if a clip's resolution is greater than that of the sequence, it will appear to be zoomed in on the frame. Conversely, if the clip is lower res than the sequence, it will appear shrunk, with black borders.
If all of your content is the same resolution (which is the ideal case), then you should use a sequence that matches. The easiest way to do so is the "New Item" method that John refers to--dragging a clip to the Project Panel's New Item button--or, in later releases of PPro CC, dragging it into an empty Timeline panel. If you're working with content of mixed resolution, then you have to pick your poison and scale smaller clips up or larger clips down. The latter option is generally preferred because the former--scaling clips up--often results in unacceptable pixelation.

Apple mail auto cc's myself when I reply all after installing ML, how do I stop this annoyance?

I installed Mountain Lion and when I use apple mail now and reply all, it automatically will put my email address in the CC field.
My preferences have this turned off, but it still does this....
Any idea what to do to stop this annoyance ?

I think I'm having an "a-ha!" moment thanks to doug38.
But it needs a bit of clarification: You need to edit your iCloud account.
Go to PREFERENCES.
Choose ACCOUNTS
Click on your iCLOUD account.
There is a dropdwon menu for Aliases- Choose CUSTOM.
Enter your preferred reply-from email address.
Note how that address should slide to the top of the account lists.
If Doug38 is right, that should do the trick!

Playback jumping to beginning after reaching end of sequence

When playing a sequence, when the cursor gets to the end it now jumps to the very beginning of the sequence. It didn't used to do that, so some sort of option must have been turned on. How can I turn that option off?

Opening the Windows Task Manager and killing the PSE process is not a solution!
(Context: I want to start PhotoshopElementsEditor.exe from another program with an image filename as command line argument. This other program waits in background until PhotoshopElementsEditor.exe has finished and pops up again after that. Since PhotoshopElementsEditor.exe continues to run silently in background, the other program will never come back.)

After deleting songs manually from my phone, (say, I have a song on there twice and only want one or I realize I don't want a song on my iPhone) when I try to manually pick a song in the music app on my phone, the song that plays will be one that is a number of songs above the one I chose. Have you tried resetting the device (nothing will be lost): Hold down the Home and Power buttons at the same time and continue to hold them down until the Apple appears (up to 30 seconds). Once the Home screen redisplays, see if your Music app is behaving normally.

Thanks Barney, I tried that but all that comes up in Spotlight are the log files that show the file paths! I don't know how Steam works. Are all the files held by Steam on their server perhaps?

For some reason, When I add my 'My Music' folder to Itunes on my new computer, as Itunes is adding music, It's creating hundreds of playlists from each of my artist/albums...I end up with a ton of playlists (200 gigs worth) How do i stop this?

Essentially, Itunes creates a playlist for each album in my 'my music' folder, resulting in thousands of playlists. Why is this happening all of the sudden? How do I stop this?

I do not mean the entire ITunes folder but, rather, the contents of the ITunes folder prior to September 29th. (90% of the media is missing, along with all playlists) The media that remains says it was added on 9/29 although I know most of it was added many months or even years earlier. There are no playlists listed at all, before or after 9/29. (I know for certain that I added non-iTunes purchased songs on 10/6 although I had not created playlists for them)
I have my iTunes folder backed up on both an external drive as well as Time Machine.
I run iTunes off of an ITunes folder on my computer rather than from the external, if that's what you mean about how I have it set up.
Is it OK to drag the entire iTunes folder from the external drive onto my laptop's drive and see if that fixes it?

It was very hard to see what the box says because the message displays for less than one second. However, I was able to record it with my iphone and pause it until I got a shot of the message. The box says the following:
"Do you want the application “java” to accept incoming network connections?
Clicking deny may limit the application’s behavior. This setting can be changed in the Firewall pane of Security preferences."
I did make some changes. I will see if it works.
