Timesheet copy from previous button

Hi All,
I am looking for the configuration or any ways to enable the copy from previous button functionality in timesheet.
In the older 4.7 version there were two options target hrs and copy from previous button.
Can anyone help me on this.

Let me explain :
First of all enable these fields in the Iview
You need to do two things
enable the "Copy From Previous Week" and "Copy From Previous
Day" buttons in the ess~cat WebDynpro application.
and then implement
the following, code is there already and it will work
In function module HRXSS_CAT_WD_RECORD, on the action
COPY_FROM_PREVIOUS_PERIOD, a command of class cl_xss_cat_rfc_copy_prev
should be executed, which will actually pull the data from previous
period and display it. When I look at this class, there is no method
which will build the data to be displayed.<<< need to verify this and

Hi City,
The problem (I think) you are describing is caused because you are attempting to copy from the same instance of Excel. If you were able to see your workbook at the same time that you could see the variable refresh screen (in older versions of Excel and BW you could see them both), you would notice that the cut/copy mode (denoted by the "crawling ants" around the border of the selected range) is cancelled in the process of displaying the refresh screen.
The solution to this is one of the following:
1. open another instance of Excel and first copy the results to the second instance
2. copy the Excel results to another application, such as Word
Perhaps not the answer you were looking for, but it works.

PO prices and condition pricing date copied from previous PO using ME21N

We have defined a default for buyers with the TAB Price Adoption - "copying of conditions from last purchase order" set to Do Not Copy. We have assigned this default via parameter EVO to all of our buyers. When creating a purchase order using transaction ME21N and creating based upon previous purchase order all of the previous purchase order pricing and the condition pricing date is copied over. Isn't this what the parameter is supposed to prevent?
Any suggestions are appreciated.

No, copiing a complete PO is something different than creating a new PO where the price is usually taken from last PO if no price conditions are maintained in an info record.
You prevent only the second case with EVO parameter.

GL Entry data copied from previous document?

Hi Folks,
When entering the Manual Journal Entry, can we call upon a previous journal entry so that the line items and other details are automatically filled in as per that entry?
Account assignment model works but lets say a person doesn't have it setup and they want to put in the details in the GL entry screen from the previous GL document, would that be possible ? (something like how MIRO screen pulls up PO info. when entering the PO# ; if we can put the previous journal entry document number somewhere to pull up that document within a create new GL document screen)

That works! however is it possible to have it on a screen like the FB50 where you can enter all items in same screen, rather than the old entry screen?

Publish issue with Cap 6: Background bitmapped/not showing/copied from previous slides

Hi,
I have been working on a course for a while, publishing and having no issues. This morning when I tried to publish a few of the lessons, I am noticing that there are parts of the background from one slide appearing on the next. Also, on some slides, I see a couple of square areas of the background and nothing else. The captions and voiceover are fine though.
Can someone please help - the course is due today!

I believe I have figured out the resolution, although not sure why it happened?
When I publish, I choose the setting "Force re-publish all the slides", the screens are fine - no issues. I think I will just check this all the time

Hi,
You cannot enable the Copy From button on the purchase order window. This is because there is no originating document for a purchase order (which is the first document in the chain on the purchasing side).
Perhaps if you explain your reasons for needing this functionality someone can come up with a suitable workaround.

Alas, in 2004 this is not possible. In 2005 this is possible with user form and I think also with system forms.

How do I copy over files from "Previous System 1" to my current system

Hello.
I was having trouble with starting up my computer. I used a friend's computer to check Apple's Knowledge Base. The suggestion was to perform an Arhive and Install and to select the option of preserving my user and network settings.
I could not locate my Panther Install disc (my previous OS was 10.3.9). However, I did find my Jaguar 10.2 Install disc so I decided to use that instead (my disorganization is truly exasperating).
I thought once my system was again accessible (which it now is) I'd be able to reinstall Panther from the Archive even though I still can't locate my Panther Install disc. Is that possible?
I am, of course, having trouble using many of my 10.3.9 applications as they are incompatible with my currently loaded Jaguar 10.2 OS. I am unable to print, get my email, or use countless applications.
I'd sure appreciate help and suggestions as to how I might reaccess my 10.3.9 OS from the Archive so that I can avoid having to repurchase and reload Panther to get my original system back.
Is there a simple way to copy/move my previous system from "Previous System 1" back to my current system?

P.S. I foolishly neglected to maintain a back-up of my data onto an external disk. If I can get things back to where they were, I've learned my lesson.

As Kappy pointed out, you need Panther install disks to install Panther. However, you may be able to recover your data files from the Previous System Folder.
You can purchase Panther disks from applerescue. Your computer will support Tiger if it meets the minimum system requirements for Tiger.

I think you identified my mistake. I confused tables-charts-graphs. I was wanting a "table" of cells (numbers) to be added to the Pages document. Is there no way to do that and keep the tables linked between Numbers09 and Pages09?
An example would be a Numbers spreadsheet calculating a number (say, a product price) and that number (data) be linked to a product information text in Pages.
I just recently saw the Merge function in Pages, but have not yet learned how that works. I don't use Pages much at all but it would come in handy for creating to information sheets about products --- with the product pricing being updated from a Numbers spreadsheet.
If you have any hints on how that can be done or where I can find info on that I would appreciate it.

Next time i want to use firefox it hangs at start. The window comes up
and it's white, except for a square in upper left corner (without color).
I'm having this problem since June 2010, when I started using an electronic ID,
for access to Swedish goverment organisations. The Electronic ID (BnakID) is
supported in Windows, Mac and Ubuntu. I had a new installation of Ubuntu, in a
virtual machine at that time.
I can't say that this is a problem with Firefox in Ubuntu or some other
combination, I'm a newbie with Ubuntu and BankID.
I've used been using Firefox and installing (Firebird, Mozilla) since 2001,
in other OS:es than Ubuntu (Solaris, RedHat, Windows and SLED).
My workaround are:
- cd ~/.mozilla/firefox
- mv profiles.ini profiles.ini-
- Start and stop firefox
- Copy some files from previous profile, to the new.
cd <previous>.default
cp -r bookmark* cert8.db content-prefs.sqlite cookies.sqlite* \
extensions* places.sqlite* prefs.js sessionstore.* signons.sqlite* \
../<new>.default/
- Start firefox

Try the fix posted by houseboats in this discussion: spinning beachball suddenly every time at launch. Other users have reported that it fixed their problem which is similar to yours, good with airport off, freeze with airport on.
The only problem I had with the fix was that it killed the name I gave my computer in the System/Sharing preference pane. So if you use it go to that pane and rename your computer as it was originally.

Thank you for responding. So I essentially will never be able to use that button in lightroom 5? do I need to get LR 6? Will there ever be an update for LR 5 that will enable me to use it?
Does DNG Converter work within LR or do I have to upload pictures to my computer and then make a second copy in DNG format. and then go into LR and use them?

How to get Reference Doc from copy from button

I would like to know if there is a way to get the source document or reference document number with-out sdk or add on development , if you used the copy from button to populate the data?
sample
in order entry you can populate the data by using the copy button then choose sales quotation, then using formatted search or select statement could i get the source documents (sales quotation number)..

Hi Loren,
If you need to get the BaseRef field before saving the document you can use the screen reference in your query:
SELECT $[$38.44.0]
Just selects the BaseDocument reference number from a row. You may want to also use:
SELECT $[$38.43.0]
To get the Base Document Type (sales quotation, delivery etc.)

The thing is that.. abap editor can't identify some characters.
So we upload word document into editor.. it will not work properly...
For example, the comment " ( Double Quote or Single Quote) can't be identified if we upload through word document..
This is the reason..

Now I have to copy the details of the form from "Unloading Form" to
"A/R Invoice" .
So, I've to add one item "Unloading" with others-"Sales Quotaions", "Sales Orders" , "Deliveries" in the "Copy From" button of A/R Invoice Form.
Is it possible?
If yes, then How?
