Can anyone tell me how do we find out the timestamp(delta) field for standard datasources 2LIS_11_V_ITM and 2LIS_11_V_SCL

Sales Document is the Delta Field for both the DS -- you can always find time stamp at RSA7-- based on the settings you have opted at V3 collective run.
The delta update is supported using the delta method ABR. Note that when a change is made to the sales document, a delta update occurs only if one or more fields in the extraction structure are affected by the change. You can find further information in SAP Note 576886.

Error in adding a field to standard datasource

Hi all,
R/3 Side:
I'm trying to add an field KDAUF to the standard datasource "2LIS_03_UM" from the transaction code LBWE.
I'm getting the following error,
Struct. from appl. 03 due to open V3 proc. not changed -> Long text
Message no. MCEX140
Diagnosis
Changing the extract structure MC03UM0 of application 03 is not allowed as there are no V3 update entries for the update module MCEX_UPDATE_03.
If an extract structure is changed for which there are still open V3 updates, these can no longer be updated and the V3 collective update is terminated.
Procedure
Start the V3 update using the "Job Control" function in the customizing cockpit (transaction yDS:TRAN.LBWE>LBWE) or delete those update entries that are already incorrect. You will find these in the update overview.
I've deleted the delta queue form RSA7, deleted the data in setup tables, deleted from LBWQ and also from SM13.
But still i'm getting the same error.
Kindly help me in solving this error.

Have you followed the path:
LBWE >>> Click on "Job Control" >>> Click on "Job Overview"
If yes, then in the next screen you will find the list of all the job in various states, e.g. Scheduled, Released, Ready, Active, Completed.
In your case, the relevant job should be "LIS-BW-VB_APPLICATION_03_***". Select the one with status as Released.
Also try verifying the same in sm37.

One field in standard datasource 2LIS_02_ITM can not be found in LBWE

Dear expert:
I have one field NOPOS of datasource 2LIS_02_ITM (Purchasing Order Item) need to find the source table.
Here my question is: NOPOS is a standard field of datasource 2LIS_02_ITM, why can I not find this field in LBWE through maintenance? Any suggestion to find the source table?

even if it is a counter field it should be present in DataSource structure as the infosource of this DataSource has mapping of this field.

Adding fields to the standard datasource

Hi All,
The custmer wants to add some fields to the Material master. I have found that those fields are already there in the standard extractor but are not being mapped to any infoobject.Do I need to create new info objects to map them or will there be a standard info object for all the fields in the standard datasource?

Thanks for your reply. The fields are available in datasource but are not mapped to any infoobjects in the Trans Structure. If I have to populate them in BW then I need to map them to some info objects. I am clear upto this. Now my doubt is...since the standard datasource already contains these extra fields which I need to add, will there be standard info objects already created for these fields or do I need to create some Z info objects to map them with? How can I check if there are some standard infoobjects for these fields.

TIMESTAMP field is not available in BW for the datasource 3FI_GL_P1_SI

Hello,
We have created a datasource 3FI_GL_P1_SI using transaction FAGLBW03 for the Regulatory Ledger i.e. P1.
Now, when we check data in RSA3, we see that the TIMESTAMP field is available. This field is not hidden. When we replicated this datasource in BW, the TIMESTAMP field is not present. Has anyone faced such issue before?
One more issue with this datasource is that, though the TIMESTAMP field is present in R/3, its data is not correctly populated.This field should store the data in the format (YYYYMMDDHHMMSS) but it stores the hexadecimal data. However, when we check the data of the datasource 0FI_GL_14, the data is correctly populated. Could you please let us know how to overcome these issues?

How to find table name of fields from the standard extractor in CRM system ?
e.g. We use LBWE TCode in R/3 system to find table name for the field from Extractor VCSCL(e.g.).
Likewise is there any way to find table name for the fields from Standard extractor like 0CRM_LEAD_I.

activate the CRM DSs by scenario:
1) Activate the application component hierarchy (tcode RSA9). Changes made to the application component hierarchy in the CRM system can be transferred to the BW using the "Edit Application Component Hierarchy" (SBIW - Postprocessing of DataSources).
SAP Note 434886 must be implemented in CRM 3.0 before the application component hierarchy is activated.
2) Activate the Business Content DataSources (tcode RSA5).
Select/enter the application component and choose Execute (F8).
To compare the shipped and active versions, choose the 'Select Delta' pushbutton. If there is no active version of the DataSource, it is selected automatically.
To activate the shipped version, choose the 'Transfer DataSources' pushbutton.
3) Management of the versions of the BW-Adapter metadata (tcode BWA5). All DataSources are displayed that are managed by the BW Adapter.
As in transaction RSA5 (Service API Metadata Activation), the 'Select Delta' function can be used to select the inactive DataSources or compare shipped and active versions.
You can also go directly to the screen for maintaining DataSources that are managed by the BW Adapter.
The 'Compare Version' function makes a detailed comparison of the shipped and active versions.
All BW-Adapter metadata is considered when versions are compared:
Header information (Table SMOXHEAD)
Mapping information (Table SMOXRELP)
Global selection conditions (Table SMOXGSEL)
Attribute key fields (Table SMOXAFLD)

CRM - change the selection fields in standard extractor

Hello everyone!
I would like to change the selection parameters for the DataSources 0CRM_SRV_PROCESS_H and 0CRM_SRV_CONTRACT_H in order to include the field CHANGED_AT. However, in the DataSource definition this field appears grayed out (even in process mode).
Is there any way I could change this?
If not, I was thinking about appending a custom field with the the same information and include this in the selection criteria. Would this work?
If not, could I create a generic DataSource whose function module would internally call the standard DataSources own FM with the standard selection criteria and then filter it out further with my own criterion?
Performance is not really an issue here.

Storing the Timestamp field in the Table

I have a Z program and we need to store the timestamp field in the Z table . I have created the table with the dataelement
TIMESTAMP . Is there any system field that can be used to store the timestamp field from your program
say for example we have declared a work area of the structure of the Z table and Appended through the Internal Table and Modified that Z table.
My intention is store the Timestamp field in the Z table.

    you can add as below..
types : begin of st_output.
                         include structure ztaxinvoice.
                         FKIMG1 TYPE VBRP-FKIMG,
                         FKIMG2 TYPE VBRP-FKIMG,
                         types : end of st_output.
    or you can add this field to your structure 'ztaxinvoice' as below
'FKIMG1 TYPE FKIMG'
                                   'FKIMG2 TYPE FKIMG'
   Then you can declare internal table and work area as mentioned below..
data: it_output type standard table of ztaxinvoice,
                        wa_output type ztaxinvoice.
here in this case no need of types declaration also you can pass the same type (wa_output type ztaxinvoice) in smartform.

XML Forms. Add a timestamp field

Hi all
I have a XML Forms project. I have included the valid from and valid until values and have tbs working.
Appart from this I want to insert in my form another Timestamp field.
In the datamodel I can´t create an entry of type timestamp, only date or time.
If I create it date and bind it to a timestamp reaader object from the toolbar I receive an error requesting to have a timestamp type of data binded to it.
Any help to do this?

there is no possibility to provide default values or vairable values for date and time properties in KM.
The only thing you can specify is the format:

One thing you could do is modify the xsl file and use some additional programming to fill the date whith the values you like.
But in the standard it is not possible.

There is requirement for us to find response time of a service in milliseconds. For this we need to insert two timestamp fields in BAM data object. But BAM is allowing us to include only one Timestamp field in a data object.Is there any other work-around to overcome this problem.

In the delta process, the DataSource transfers the record data with the new status in each case. For this reason, the data cannot be updated directly to the InfoCube. The update is only possible using the ODS object (update with MOVE).
For safety, the delta process uses a lower interval setting of one hour (this is the default setting). In this way, the system always transfers all postings made between one hour before the last delta upload and the current time. The overlap of the first hour of a delta upload causes any records that are extracted twice to be overwritten by the after image process in the ODS object with the MOVE update. This ensures 100% data consistency in BW.

you can make important global settings in SAP R/ in the table BWOM_SETTINGS.

How to find table & fields of standard InfoObject for creating generic DataSource?
e.g. I want to know the table & field of 0MAINTPOS infoObject.

You can get the list of tables involved in a particular DS by using the below method ( this another approach)
--> RSA3 -- enter your DS ( execute later)
--> Goto Tcode ST05 --> switch on the SQL Trace
--> now execute the extract checker in RSA3.once done switch off(deactivate) the SQL trace.
--> in st05 screen you can find the button "Display Trace" -- execute (here make sure SQL trace button is enabled.
--> from the menu bar -->Trace list--> select "combined table accesses".
--> it will display the tables involved in it -- check for TABLE names section.... select that row Table names -- click on filter button --press F4 -- here we go it will display the list of entire tables involved in the extraction activity... here you need to sort the tables which are related to your DS.

Enhancement of Standard Datasource in LBWE.

I am enhancing the standard datasource for additional fields from the extract structure in LBWE. I have selected the fields in maintenance and pushed them into the selection criteria (first column), and saved the daatsource change in a request. but to my surprise the field contents in Selection criteria and pool(Second Column) column are same as of original in R/3 Development server itself.
I have then redone the activity and then generated datasource followed by deactivation and activation of datasorce, this has collected a workbench and customization request . But when i again open the maintenance screen of the data source it is again same as of original before change.
I don't understand why this is happen.
can some one please guide me and guide how to enhance the datasource in the maintenance screen of the datasource.

Its very simple.
1. delete setup table and delta queue ( all the clients)
2. If fields can be added through lbwe maintainance then add other wise create a append structure
and exit for filling up the value for the fields..
3. change mode in data source ---> uncheck hide buttuon --> if you want data to be extracted
using newly added fields plz check selection checkbox..
4.. Thats it...

Standard Datasource for Payment & Proposal List (S_P99_41000099)

Hello,
Looking for standard datasource in SAP R/3 for Payment List and Proposal List.
The R/3 Query is S_P99_41000099. The fields for this query are coming from PAYR and REGUH tables.
If we have any standard datasource available, then we can use that otherwise i have to go for database view and
create a generic datasource on the view.
I have another issue too, basically i'm also working on Check register Query, and we have ECC 6 (Net-weaver 4) and the standard datasource for Check register is available from ECC 6 SP-3 onwards. Do we have any other alternative for this? Installed the BI content for BW objects as we have 0FIAP_C50 available. But wondering how to work on the back end datasource. In the check register query, we have all the fields coming from PAYR Table.
Please can someone please guide me on this?

What will be the Text DataSource for Remarks field (VBBP-Z006) . I could not identify the Text Datasource for this field.Currently, I am loading, Customer, Plant, Material, Customer Text, Vendor, country, Region Text DataSources.
But I am not able to identify whether Remarks Field will be getting the Text or Not.Also , I think i need to have Remarks as a Field in DataSource with some Key Value then only it gets theTexts from Master Data. I mean, For Example, For Material, We have to Add 0Material in the Cube and then it gets theTexts from MAterial Text DataSource when we execute the Reports.
So , In this case, What should be my Approach. Do I need to maintain Remarks as afield in my Cube. Or how should be my approach so that VBBP-Z006(REMARKS- Text ID) is loaded into BI.
If I need to maintain Remarks as a field with Key Value , then how do I map it.I hope I am clear
