I have a Timex Global GPS watch. When I plug the watch in to sync the data, the computer chimes to acknowledge the device. However, there is now pop-up to indicate drivers are loading.
When I open Device Agent (the Timex software) the watch is unable to communicate with the computer.
I have updated the firmware on the watch. I have uninstalled Nortons. I have added the application to the firewall. I have started the pc in safe mode and by-passed driver certification.
Still I am unable to get the watch to communicate with the computer.
Any suggestions?
Do I possibly need a driver?

The information below may be able to answer your questions about how to delete songs from your iPhone:
Deleting songs downloaded to your device
Tap the Music app.
Tap More > Songs at the bottom.
Scroll or search for the song you would like to delete from your device.
Swipe right to left on the song, and then tap Delete.
Note: You must be in Artists, Songs, or Albums view to delete songs from your device. Deleting from a playlist won't remove a song from your iOS device.

Remove a song from iPhone. Tap Songs, swipe the song, then tap Delete. The song is deleted from iPhone, but not from your iTunes library on your Mac or PC, or from iCloud.
If you have iOS 7, this will delete the song from local storage, but the song will still appear with a cloud symbol in the Music app, as you've noticed. To hide the iTunes in the Cloud purchases, navigate to Settings > iTunes & App Store, and disable "Show All: Music”

Upload data from a Garmin GPS watch.

I would like to download data from a Garmin GPS watch directly to my iPad Mini but can't find how to do it. I can physically connect it with a 'Lightning to USB Camera Adapter' lead which works well with a camera to download photographs, but when connected to the watch it always returns the message:
'Cannot use device: IOUSBCompositeDevice: the connected device uses too much power'.
Is there some way around this or do I need some other piece of equipment?
Any help would be gratefully received.

Garmin's manual doesn't mention anything about the type of systems that can be used.
All it says is 'Plug the USB cable into a USB port on your computer'. Their website isn't much help either.
That has worked ok from a PC laptop for a couple of years but the PC is now defunct and I don't want to replace it.
I would rather just use the iPad as my main connection with the www as it does most of the things I need.

Manual vs. Sync (I'm having trouble)

Ok... Let me first say that I am a new iPod owner. I have used them before, but I'm having trouble getting my iPod and iTunes to behave. What I want it to do is to sync my music library, but allow me to manually manage my video and podcast content. Is there any way to do this? All I can get it to do right now is sync everything or nothing.
I also have 480 megs of video that I loaded on my iPod before I set it to sync, and now I can't access it (it still says I have it though...).

If you go into the iPod settings in iTunes do the following :-
1. Set up the music to sync automatically everything
2. Set up a playlist of the video you want to be synced
3. Set up the video to automatically sync the video playlist you have set up only.
That should be it.
When you want to change the video content on the iPod, just change the content of the Playlist and resync.

Sync isn't meant to be used for backups, nor is there a way to "roll back". It's only meant for synchronizing Firefox data from 1 device to another.

Sync does not copy all contact data from Outlook 2003 to iPhone

I tried syncing my outlook 2003 to iphone. However the data information in outlook such as Work2 / Home2 / Fax 2 , E-mail 2 / etc; & other secondary numbers don't get copied on the iphone. Is there a patch or some other solution to fix this problem.
Also if we enter multiple home or office numbers in a contact in iphone how will outlook react to it.

Well lots of writing on the web but i beleive i nailed the problem. Please spread the word further, the solution is (or actually the bug in Sync of iTunes :))
When iTunes developers select which contacts folder to synchronize they do not choose by what Outlook considers to be the main folder, what they do is they sort the list of folders alphabetically and then read the contacs from whichever folder comes first in that sorted list. So make sure that any other contact folder is named with a name that will be sorted out and go in the list after your main contact folder.

Unable to Upload data from text file into BEx Analyzer selection screen

No response from BEx Analyzer when I am trying to upload around 40,000 material from text file into BEx Analyzer selection screen using "Upload selections" options. But I am able to upload only 10,000 material from text file. I never faced same kind of issue when I am using BEx Analyzer 3.x. Unable to connect to the server to pull data from mysql

I am novice working with Flash Builder 4 and I just created a test application which runs well in my computer pulling data from Mysql using PHP and populating a datagrid. But when I transfered it to the my hosting provider failed. I have been doing some modifications to the gateway.php and amf.config.ini to solve some of the issues. Now the application try to run but doesn't populate the data in the datagrid. I included a tracking point in my data service file to read the connections variables, but they come up in blank. Thank you for you prompt response. Yes, I have changed the connections variables in my dataservice ( I didn't post real values). You are right, after all I didn't make changes on the gateway.php except to add some tracking points. The one that I changed is the amf.config,ini. The application runs without any error exceptions, but don't populate the datagrid. According with the tracing is stoping just when establishing the connection to the database. Please let me know if you have any other clue. thanks

I tried with 50 row but only 19 rows are exported.
Appln builder==> create ==> Export from spread sheet --> Copy paste / csv export (i tried both) but i got only 19 rows.

Hi Manoj,
If you're talking about the 19 rows you see while in the create wizard, that is just a sample of the data so you can see what you're working with while specifying column names, types, etc. Once you finish working in the wizard it should import all of the rows assuming there aren't any error-rows.

As it says above, i have been having a lot f trouble with my ipod classic and the latest itunes update, i was unable to sync songs or anything to it and have tried every conceivable 'fix' i could find. i have run an itunes diagnostic and the results are posted below. a major problem is that when i try and view my ipod through my computer it displays nothing at all on the ipod, no files or anything, this may be the problem but i have no idea how it has happened or how i could resolve it.

Here is what worked for me:
My usb hub, being usb2, was too fast. I moved the wire to a usb port directory on my pc. That is a usb1 port which is slow enough to run your snyc.
