Title 3D help in Z-axis spin?

What I have is two columns of text that are 90* from each other. They share the same z axis points on the screen. Set the opacity back so they are translucent and you can see through the columns as they rotate around the z axis.
What I want to do is "lay back" the z axis, yet still be able to rotate the columns about the z axis. It would appear like you're looking upward towards the top of the colums as they rotate.
Any idea on what's the best way to accomplish this? I can't seem to figure out how to rotate a column in perspective when it is laid back in the frame.

I've tried the BASIC 3D, but that doesn't control the "tilted back" axis like I need.
Imagine the classic "Star Wars" intro text. That text is what I am calling "tilted back" into the frame of view. Now I want to rotate that text around the center axis that is tilted back.
Maybe I can't do it without a different 3d modeling program?

Please help. Keep getting Spinning Rainbow Wheel

Can anyone help please I keep getting this when ever I open a new tab in a browser or whenever I do "anything", the little wheel comes up for about 2-3 seconds, even when typing this right now it's happened. Even if i decide to open a new application it starts up.

Intel i7 Quad
1TB Harddrive
4GB Ram
27" iMac (2010)
1 GB Nvidia Graphics
Now the system has run fine since I had it, now that the apple care has run out it's decided to play up, I've been using apple for 10 years mostly because it's hassle free but this is seriously annoying. I can't do anything?
I tried playing several games too; World of Warcraft, same thing keeps stuttering with wheel. Same with Starcraft.
I've never had any problems before, ever. Been able to play and multitask sometimes without even the slightest problem.
Now I can't even type this query without the wheel happening.
Things I've done to stop it:
-lowered graphics on games
-restarted/shutdown
-opened in safe mode
-run a disk repair
Nothing is working, it's really disheartening, and frustrating.

Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Console in the icon grid.
The title of the Console window should be All Messages. If it isn't, select

Please help with my incessant spinning wheel of death!

I have almost always had the spinning circle of death… Almost the whole life of this late 2011 15" 4 GB mbp. I just can not easily use this computer anymore. It takes so long to do anything. I need to exit all apps but the one I am using to make it work. I have to restart is almost daily to make it do much. So frustrating! Please help!
I already tried a disk repair under disk utlility with no issues shown.
I read on another post to run an etrecheck app and to post that info. Here is what it says.

I just saw a post on MacKeeper causing serious issues... Is that something that could be attributing to my problems??

Need Help! Mac Hangs Spinning Ball -ugh!

Problem description:
Macbook pro i7 750gb, 16gb ram. Computer running slow.   Mac hangs repeatedly. Spinning ball appears as Running Mavericks. 250gb hard drive space free.

Here's what finally worked for me:
Try shutting down Safari, then delete the following:
/Users/<user>/Library/Caches/com.apple.Safari
/Users/<user>/Library/Caches/Metadata/Safari
/Users/<user>/Library/Preferences/com.apple.Safari.plist
/Users/<user>/Library/Preferences/com.apple.Safari.RSS.plist
/Users/<user>/Library/Safari
Well, I swore I did all those, maybe except the "/Users/<user>/Library/Caches/com.apple.Safari" one, but all is well now! Browsing great. Thanks!

FCP X Animated Titles Error - Help!

My OSX is 10.6.8, FCP X 10.0.7
I am working on a trianing project for the last few months.
It was working fine until i installed a software patch for FCPX which came through the apple software update. (well this is my assumption and i am not an expert on FCPX)
Everything except my Animated Text Titles seem to work.
My animated text titles shows a offline red exclamation mark.
They also shows a red bar on the rendering progress as you see in the picture.
i have used the built in animations such as Continuous and fade from FCPX gallery.
After reading another post, I tried importing a saved project fcpxml from my secondary copy and it comes up with the following error.
If i cant find a fix i will have to redo all the animated text titles (3000) of them
Someone please help me....

I have the same issue and would love a fix. In my experimenting I came across a temporary workaround, and subsequently have a similar issue exporting from Motion 5. Still no real solution, but here's what I've seen:

Does the book title appear on the dust jacket spine?

Here's an easy question for anyone who has recently printed a book using iPhoto 08. I was just wondering if the new dust jackets show any printing on the spine. I printed my book to a PDF, and this would see to indicate the answer is "no", but I thought I'd double check.

Yes, the title is printed on the dust jacket spine. You can see it in this view of the dust jacket form the pdf file that is created for uploading and printing. It's the text just to the left of the large picture with lots of red in it.

TIP: For insurance against the iPhoto database corruption that many users have experienced I recommend making a backup copy of the Library6.iPhoto (iPhoto.Library for iPhoto 5 and earlier) database file and keep it current. If problems crop up where iPhoto suddenly can't see any photos or thinks there are no photos in the library, replacing the working Library6.iPhoto file with the backup will often get the library back. By keeping it current I mean backup after each import and/or any serious editing or work on books, slideshows, calendars, cards, etc. That insures that if a problem pops up and you do need to replace the database file, you'll retain all those efforts. It doesn't take long to make the backup and it's good insurance.
I've created an Automator workflow application (requires Tiger or later), iPhoto dB File Backup, that will copy the selected Library6.iPhoto file from your iPhoto Library folder to the Pictures folder, replacing any previous version of it. It's compatible with iPhoto 6 and 7 libraries and Tiger and Leopard. Just put the application in the Dock and click on it whenever you want to backup the dB file. iPhoto does not have to be closed to run the application, just idle. You can download it at Toad's Cellar. Be sure to read the Read Me pdf file.
Note: There's now an Automator backup application for iPhoto 5 that will work with Tiger or Leopard.

I rename a song title, click it & doesnt save the title PLEASE HELP!!!

So I rename a song title since it is not labeled correctly, and then it changed the title, and moves to the alphabetically correct spot, but then if i double click it after it is changed, it automatically changes the song title back to the original one, and then moves the file automatically to the old spot that it was before i changed the title. Does that make sense? Please help! I am finding it very hard when i rename a song, and it doesnt work!
I am working with about 5000 mp3s and its a headache...

View my earlier thread on id3 tag changes not sticking. I think I found the solution:
...These files would not allow the tag version to be changed from v2.4. However, if you ctrl-click->convert id3 tags and select id3 tags version as "none", it will default to v1.1. From there the tag info can be edited and the changes will stick. If you need to you can re-convert the tag version (eg.v2.3) and the edits will still be maintained.

I try to install Apache Axis on WLS6.1 (running on W2k), the WLS6.1 complains <Error>
<J2EE> <Error deploying application axis: Could not load axis>
I have no problem to install Axis on Tomcat4.0.4(jdk1.3.1 on w2k)
and get samples running. Also I am using Apache soap2.3 on WLS6.1 and it works
fine.
Need help on Axis on WLS6.1. Thanks in advance.

Help Reversing direction of spinning object...

Hi,
I am VERY limited to flash. I have been teaching myself by
using templets and see how things work. So i purchased a small
templete (i know i know a damn templete) and i cant get this
certain movie to REVERSE its current rotation. I have tried
everything that i can find but there must be an easier way!

Help with chart axis

I need to create a chart that has the yaxis on the right not
left with Horizontal axis that has a reverse scale 12 to -12

Rar. tiger didnt help..background and spinning wheel..

my poor little puter.
my computer suddenly refused to start past my background screen and the spinning wheel (if it helps, the mouse started in the upper left corner)..at this point my computer was running OS X Panther..the latest update. I tried everything suggested on your support page dedicated to this problem..but to no avail. i went to the store and purchased OS X Tiger..to reinstall (i lost my original disk). i reinstalled and was hopeful because the blue screen (as reinstall and other tips from support page had removed my desktop photo) appeared with the searchlight icon in the top right with a portion of the white bar. and my mouse was no longer a dizzy spinning wheel...but does become one when i hover over the searchlight icon. i reboot my computer holding down the C button to try to use the disk utility..but now my puter won't start past the grey apple and spinning gear page.

To make things clear to us:
1. Did you insert your Tiger install DVD disk in your Mac before holding down the "C" key on restart? (The "C" key tells the Mac to try to startup from a "bootable" DVD -- if there is none in the drive, it will be confused by the request.)
2. When you could startup from the new Tiger install, did the spinning ball appear anywhere other than when the mouse pointer was over Spotlight? (It is normal for Spotlight to be unavailable until it indexes the connected drive(s), which can take some time. You can see an indicator of the indexing process in the Spotlight icon in the menu bar -- the center of the magnifying glass will pulse a white dot until it is complete.)
3. If you do not hold down the "C" key, does your Mac startup normally now, or was this just a one time thing?

Creating TV Title Sequence Help

I have created many successful tv shows using Final Cut Express, and I am embarking on the 10th season of my successful reality show.
I am introducing a new Title Sequence for the 60 opening and I need help!
I would like to know which effects and software you would suggest to best construct an opening.
I don't know if anyone has seen shows like 'Survivor' & 'Big Brother', but most of the shows in that genre take action clips and seem to change their appearance, and overlap them.
It's hard to describe, but if anyone can offer some advice that would amazing!

Most of the TV show opens can be done in FCE. If I remember rightly, there's nothing in the Survivor open that can't be reproduced pretty closely in FCE. The logo is obviously made in a graphics application, mostly likely Illustrator and/or Photoshop. The CSI show opens can all be done in FCE. Most of the 24 open can be done in FCE. The graphical element for the numbers would need something like After Effects or Motion, though you could probably do most of it in LiveType, or something that looks similar. The more graphical the open the more likely it needs a specialist compositing application.

If your iPhone wont power on, I recommend going through these steps first:

Will not turn on, will not turn on unless connected to power, or unexpected power off
Verify that the Sleep/Wake button functions. If it does not function, inspect it for signs of damage. If the button is damaged or is not functioning when pressed, seek service.
Check if a Liquid Contact Indicator (LCI) is activated or there are signs of corrosion. Learn about LCIs and corrosion.
Connect the iPhone to the iPhone's USB power adapter and let it charge for at least ten minutes.
After at least 30 minutes, if:
The home screen appears: The iPhone should be working. Update to the latest version of iOS if necessary. Continue charging it until it is completely charged and you see this battery icon in the upper-right corner of the screen . Then unplug the phone from power. If it immediately turns off, seek service.
The low-battery image appears, even after the phone has charged for at least 20 minutes: See "iPhone displays the low-battery image and is unresponsive" symptom in this article.
Something other than the Home screen or Low Battery image appears, continue with this article for further troubleshooting steps.
If the iPhone did not turn on, reset it while connected to the iPhone USB power adapter.
If the display turns on, go to step 4.
If the display remains black, go to next step.
Connect the iPhone to a computer and open iTunes. If iTunes recognizes the iPhone and indicates that it is in recovery mode, attempt to restore the iPhone. If the iPhone doesn't appear in iTunes or if you have difficulties in restoring the iPhone, see this article for further assistance.
If restoring the iPhone resolved the issue, go to step 4. If restoring the iPhone did not solve the issue, seek service.

Help! App Store spinning wheel when trying to download OS X Lion

I've spent several hours today trying to download OS X Lion from the App Store. Everytime I click on the 29.99 button, and then the Buy App button the spinning wheel starts at the top of the App Store Window. If anyone has any advice, I'd love to hear it!
My specifics: iMac, 2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, Memory 4GB 667 MHz DDR2 SDRAM, Available space 162.7 GB, Max OS X Version 10.6.8 (Snow Lepoard)
I called Apple Support, and they told me to order the USB drive, but I'd like to just download this ASAP.

As it is I already had to order the 2012 Quickbooks (over $150!), because Lion didn't support my 2010 Quickbooks - wow, this upgrade is getting more and more expensive! Even though I LOVE my Apple products, I tell people that they don't "nickle and dime you, they 100 dollar bill you to death!"
