Hi Niranjan,
You are not taking a template from SAP to CAD.
In CAD Interface always you should work with CDESK i.e through CADDESK.
It is imperative to use the transaction CAD Desktop in Order to establish the link between the Cad drawing and Document Info Record(DIR ) while the drawing needs to be updated for title block entries.
The Following Procedure for working with CAD for Titleblock updation.
1. Open ACAD/Inventor , you see the SAP icon on the ACAD menu (top right)
2. Opend SAPview of CADDESKTOP i.e. AutoCAD/Inventor> SAP>CAD DESKTOP--->SAP VIEW.
3. Choose Working Directory for the Cad desktop log files.
Prefarably ( C:\Sap WorkDir\Acad or Inventor)
4. Enter DIR key (doc # + doc type ) you wish to edit
Result: SAPView tab is populated with DIR
5. Choose SAP View -> Originals-> Edi Originals
6. A Successful checkout shows ("File Copied")
7. choose "Execute" to edit the Original file. & Edit the drawing.
8. Save
This is the procedure you should follow to work with SAP-CAD when you have CAD Interface only this will update your Title block and likage will be maintained.
But you should use Function Module to mention all the Technical names of the Fields you need to maintain in the Title Block.
The in CFG File you need to map those fields.
i.e. in path
Cfg-File\LocalCfg\TbkMapping
Here you need to map all the required fields (DIR Fields in maintained in Function Module & the Template (ACAD/Inventor) Attributes)

Hi all,
I got some problems using webutil_host and winword 2003.
As i open a document with winword in blocking mode, works well if word is not already open.
Eg if word is already open it dunot do the blocking stuff, and go back to forms immediatly.
here is the code :

Ok seems that dunot work even if not using forms.
as launch a cmd like cmd /c start /WAIT winword
it wait the close of winword to continue execution
but if i launch winword first and than try a
cmd /c start /WAIT winword
it open a second winword but dunot wait for word to be close.....
that's to bad .

Cad title block cofig docs required

Hi All.
I am also working on the integration of CAD integration with mySAP PLM.
I am using AutoCAD 2007.
As per the settings suggested in this thread, I have already completed it.
Still, I am facing the problem with Title Block field Mapping.
In this regard, I have done following steps:
1. Title Block Bordering is done.
2. Customizing for SAP--> CAD is completed.
3. Customizing for CAD--> SAP is done.
While saving the Drawing document using DIR, the Document number, version etc details do not replicate to the CAD desktop.
Can anybody help me out in this?

Title editing and FX application.

Hi.
I'm not new to editing but new to editing with Premiere Pro.
I'd like to key frame and control the titles that I create for video. For example I would like to keyframe the kerning so the title's kerning can animate or I'd like to keyframe the opacity. This way I could make the title fade in or fade out. The problem is that the title creator doesn't have these options and when I double click the title block (to add/edit FX.. like a vid clip) in my sequence it opens the title in the title creator.
Is there a way to edit a title after its created and apply regular FX to it?

This way I can design all of the font, size, kerning, opacity shifts, ect. and then copy and paste it 12 times.... Then I would open up the clip separately and edit the text as content without having to do all the design again. This is a faster way of doing it and insures continuity between he credits.

You can animate a title just like any other footage item, whether using the on-clip, intrinsic effects, e.g. Motion, or by any applied effect, e.g. Gaussian Blur. However, there is no per-character animation capability like what I think you're requesting. If you have After Effects, you've got all the tools you need there for character animation.

Copying and pasting titles doesn't create independent references--they all link back to the original. However, in the Titler, there is a button at the top of the panel that says "New Title Based on Current Title." It essentially duplicates the current title, but creates an independent reference so that changing it doesn't change any in-use instances. Just repeat this for each title you want to use.
What I will often do, especially if I've animated a title in a specific way, is to copy and paste it in all locations needed in a sequence. Then, after creating the new titles using the above, you simply have to hold down the Alt/Opt key while you drag the new title to the instance you want to replace--this will maintain all effects, transformations, and keyframing but replace the clip instance with the new title.

CAD to SAP data transfer (Title block integration)

Hi,
Im using Cideon's CAD integration tool.
I can able to transfer the data from SAP to AutoCAD Title block.
But not able to transfer data from Title Block to SAP.
Eg.
If I give "Test Title block" in description field of DIR. Its getting updated in ACAD Title Block's Description field. So SAP to CAD data transfer is ok.
But if I change the data in ACAD title block as "Test Title Block updated" its not getting updated in the document field of DIR?
How to make the config settings? Can anybody help?
If possible give an example.

Sorry for the delay i was in a training.
In TbkMapping I have mapped the Description Field of SAP to Description attribute of ACAD Titleblock. So SAP to CAD is fine.
To do the data transfer from CAD to SAP, I tried with the UpdateDir like this

I made an entry like,

PROE Integration title block

Hi,
I'm trying to update the title block of the drawing in PROE with the Revision field after release of the DIR. The problem I'm facing is that the document cannot be checked out post release and hence I'm unable to update revision field in the Title block of the drawing.
Also the "Update Parameters" in .Reiss doesn't have "Update Revision" Option. Please let me know how I can achieve this.

I understand we can continue versioning after release.
My question is about updating the title block parameters after the document is released (or in locked status), for example,
Example 1. I want the status in the title block to be changed from "create" to "In work" to "review" to "released" as the DIR status changes. I'm able to achieve "create" and then "In work" in title block as the status gets updated when I check out the document, but review and release are locked statuses so when I promote the document to relelase the status entry in the title blok isn't getting updated.
Example 2. I also want to update the revision of a released (i.e. locked) DIR in the title block.
I know this can be achieved by having custom code along with a conversion engine but would like to know any other simple updating techniques if any!

Adding title block to PDF docs

I'm using software that's similar to AutoCAD for furniture plans, but it doesn't create a nice title block so what I do now is just convert the building plans to PDF's and send them away. I'm wanting to create a nice title block that I could add into these plans after I convert them to PDF's. Are there any programs that could help me do that?

Title block updation-SAP-CAD

Hi,
 We are using cideon software for CAD-SAP integration. We have introduced new screen in SAP DIR. The informations avl in addl screens and other fields (For ex. Lab/office,Description) has to be transferred from SAP to CAD by titleblock updation. It was working in the initial testing. In the recent past, the Titleblock updation is not happening. We have tried several options. But went in vain. Can somebody guess what could be the problem?

Code::Blocks and gdb's Debug Attach to process; crash

I've just started using Code::Blocks and very happy with it, but there is one problem: say I have a binary file with debugging symbols, then I try to attach to it using Code::Blocks (Debug>Attach to process); when I enter the PID and press "OK" button - IDE crashes.

I've just wrote a simple helloworld in C, added getchar() to wait, compiled it with "-g" flag and tried to attach to it with this IDE. Tried on 2 machines, different binaries: same result - IDE crashes. Am I doing something wrong, or this is a problem with WxWidgets/Code::Blocks?
My packages are: wxgtk 2.8.12.1-3, codeblocks 10.05-2 and gdb 7.4-1.

Are you running on an x86_64 architecture? If so I have a pacman Code::Blocks package which is the current SVN I could upload somewhere for you..
If not, check: Here to download and make the latest SVN version. There is a patch you have to apply on that page and also you need to make the build using the makepkg "-fpermissive" option.
Why do you want this SVN version (version 7932)? Well, it's current as of April 14 this month. The C::B 10.05 version is 2010, 5th month. So way out of date. There have been no official builds since then so you want to be using SVN until there is.
I don't know if using the SVN version would fix your issue but even if not: it has a host of other enhancements and fixes.

From the names I'd guess they are temporary files. If excel is running, quit and try again. If they still won't move or delete reboot. If they still won't move or delete...kill a chicken at midnight under an oak tree?

How to replace the icon in the title bar and minimized window

I am not sure if this is a Swing question. But since nobody answered it in the Java Programming forum, let me place it here:
I would like to set my own icon in the title bar and in the minimized window of my java application, replacing the java coffee cup icon.
I am using:
frame.setIconImage(new ImageIcon("image.gif").getImage())
as was suggested previously in the Java Programming forum at:

This does create the icon in both places. However, it only works when I run the program from JBuilder 2006. It doesn't work if I run the program from the .jar or the .exe file.
How can I make it work for my .jar and .exe file?

I am looking for an App that gives me some graphics to title pages and margins in word documents

I am looking for an App that gives me some graphics for Word 2011 title pages, and margins. A range of screen backgrounds for the page would be useful as my word documents are sent mostly online. ...appropriate for business topics.

I use documents to go and find that it works very will. It also has a desktop program that will allow for wifi syncing of documents outside of iTunes. It, like any app, won't have all the bells and whistles and formatting goodies of a full fledged program, but it does have basic formatting (bold, underline, italics, indents)
I don't think it comes with many fonts, but the iPad itself doesn't have a lot of fonts either.

SharePoint 2013: Error when clicking on Title, description, and logo

Hi.
I'm in the process of upgrading from SharePoint 2007 to 2013 and have come across an error which I think has occurred since trying to deploy a new feature to implement our "Company Theme" (Custom look). Please note, everything is otherwise behaving
as expected in the new 2013 environment and the issue does not occur for site collections/content db's that are deleted and restored from the interim 2010 upgraded backup, so I am assuming its something I've done as part of deploying, retracting and redeploying
the theme feature (a number of times).
So, on to the problem... When I click on "Title, description, and logo" in Site Settings I get the following error:
"Sorry, something went wrong
A list, survey, discussion board, or document library with the specified title already exists in this web site. Please choose another title."
My research suggests there is something wrong with the masterpage, which I had initially included as part of the feature but have since gone back to using the default "seattle.master" when creating the Composed look (only spcolor and spfont are
different now).
The same error also occurs when trying to preview a composed look.
Anyway, while I can probably get away with re-upgrading the affected site collections and re-enabling the theme feature, I'd like to know if I can fix this (or rather, what caused it) before going to production.
BTW, I'm getting the following errors in the Log file:
"The list "$Resources:core,webpageassetList;" in web "..." was not created"
"Failed to create list "... etc."
(I would copy the entire error messages but its not pasting - I'll try on a reply post)

Try:
