Title from previous Numbers file printing on new Numbers file

I have a Numbers 3.2 file that was originally created by duplicating another Numbers file in a previous version of Numbers. When I print this newer file, the title of the other file prints above each table in the file, though this title does not show above each table while I’m working on it, and I can’t find a way to get access to the title. Adding a “Table Name” does not change this situation.
Any ideas how I can get access to this title? Thanks!
And why can’t I upload images to illustrate the problem? I’ve tried both jpg and pdf - the “insert image” button remains grayed out after I select the file to upload.

If 'Insert Image' is greyed out, Close the Insert Box (red cross on the top right) click on the camera icon again. Camera icon sometimes needs a wake-up call, but works the second time.
Remove any personal details before taking the screen shot.

When we have upgrade SAP 2007 to SAP 8.81 its mandatory to download new license file its by design and thats not an error.

Converting a pdf file to a new pdf file acrobat 9s only creates a ps file.

Using win7 with adobe acrobat 9 standard. This is a new problew. With a pdf file open, and wanting to create a new pdf file using the print function with Adobe PDF as the prnter, I can no longer "print" the file to a new pdf file. Adobe "print to file" dialog box only provides the file type as a "ps" file. I have been using acrobat 9s without a problem. This is a new issue that just appeared today. See below - it won't allow me to print to a new pdf file. How can this be corrected?

Make sure the Print to File option in the Print dialog is ticked off.

Problem in copy 2 WORD files to a new WORD file

I have a problem in copy 2 WORD files to a new WORD file -
i.e. the text of the new WORD file suppose to be composed from the text of the 2 original WORD files.
Unfotunately I get a new WORD file which i can't open, or a file which contains strange simbols in it.
So far i succeded in copy one WORD file to a new WORD file , using - FileOutputStream and FileInputStream, the code is:

after that i write some lines in fruit.doc
then I just execute your code.
after that I open dst2.doc
then I found it as exact copy of fruit.doc
I doesn't get any junk text.
Your code is working absolutely fine.No it is not. Add som styling, headers, index etc to the docuements, and then try to run the code. It's not possible to just append two word documents. You have to parse the files and read relevant information, and then create a new valid document with that information.

Hi all, i would like to ask it there anyone know how to compress two or more .jar file into one new .jar file?
because i'm currently need to engage with one big project which have to add 34 .jar file into JCreator, so that the relevant classes can be found when compile the code.
another question is, what is the maximum archive can be add into JCreator? is it limited or unlimited?

You should probably ask the authors of JCreator about the limitations of it.
The classloader can't read jars from jars and I would advice against extracting all jars and jar all classes into one big fat jar.

Neil,
You could make a Screen Shot with a cell selected so that the Row and Column tabs are active. That's a poor way to go about it though since the result will be a graphic with rather low resolution.
Better to make some labels yourself and add them to the Sheet before printing. You can use single row/column tables for this, or Text Boxes.

On Upgrade (from Office 2010) don't create new .ost file

Hi there, hope someone can help me.
Here is my Problem:
I'm runninng Office 2010 (32Bit Version) on Windows 7 Enterprise x64. I've started Office 2010 with Exchange CacheMode activated. The ost-file is located under D:\Data\outlook\%username%
Now I'm testing Migration to Outlook 2013.
I'm using OAT to do the following things (regarding only Outlook):
- Uninstall of Office 2010
- Install of Office 2013 with using old settings
-Features: Configuring "Do not create new ost file during Migration" (we have many subsidiaries with low performance connections - so the old ost should be used after migration)
Outlook-Profile: Tried all 3 methods (use existing profile | change profile | new Profile)
At all my tests Outlook creates a new .ost-file under standard directory and don't use the existing ost-file under D:\Data\%Username%
After These tests i tried it with gpo "donotcreatenewostonupgrade" - But in this case also a new ost is created.
In all cases i have 2 Outlook profiles: "Outlook" (with new ost) and "Backup of Outlook" (with old ost)
By Setting ForceOSTPath to D:\Data\outlook\%username"
and Donotcreatnewostonupgrade to 1
i get two .ost's under D:\Data\outlook\%username" - "outlook.ost" and "Outlook data file.ost"and two mailprofiles "BACKUP OF Outlook" and "Outlook"
So ForceOSTPath is getting used, but Donotcreatnewostonupgrade not *confusing*
Can someone cann tell me a solution for this problem?

What OAT tool are you using? Is it the Office Customization Tool?
Where did you get the "Do not create new ost file during Migration" option in the tool? As far as I know, OST file cannot be migrated. If you were able to use the old OST file, Outlook will prompt that it
doesn't match the server mailbox.
The ForceOSTPath applies only to new profile, it can't be used to force Outlook to use the old OST file.

Trying to upload content from previous i-phone to a newer model

I am trying to set up my I-phone 4 and need to download the content from my old i-phone 3. The i-phone 4 does show up when conected to i-tunes via a cable to my mac.

THe phone is NOT jail broken.. all i want to do is have it return back to how it was before i started the updae version process obviously it did not take and now it is locked into plave the screen will not change.. after reboots and shut down when i turn it back on the same screeen appears the cd disc with the music note over it and the arrow pointing upwards and a picture of the small end of the charge cord that fits into the actual compute.. The phoen is not jail broken all i want is to get my phone back so i can use it i logged into i tunes and there is no where on the page that gives direction to return it back to its original format prior to trying to up grade .. whe at do i need to do to unlock the frozen compent and reutrn it back to its normal point prior to trying the upgrade

Numbers -installed new version, now can't open files saved in new version - ???

I said yes to upgrading a file to newer version, and now it says I need newer version to open that file. When I go to apps, it says the new version has already been installed. Any suggestions?

If you check About Numbers (first items in the Numbers menu) when it fails to open a documents, I suspect you will find that it is Numbers 2.3 that is attempting to open the file.
The instaler for the new version creates a new folder, names it iWork 09, places it in the Applications folder, and moves the existing iWork '09 applications into that folder. It does NOT delete them from your machine (and you should consider carefully before taking that step yourself).
The new versions are then installed directly into the Applications Folder.
Suggested actions:
In Finder, open the Applications folder, locate Numbers.
Select the icon for Numbers and drag it to the Dock to install an alias to the new version there.
Note the differences between the icons for Numbers '09 and the new Numbers (one more bar, and different colours).
(Repeat with Pages and Keynote, it you have also installed the new versions of those.)
The new version of Numbers has several significant improvements, particularly in regard to compatibility with Numbers for iOS and Numbers for iCloud, but it has also lost several useful features that were present in the earlier version.
You may want to keep both available, at least for now, and use whichever version has the features you need for a particular job.
You can specify which version is to open a document by:
right-clicking on its icon then choosing Open with > and the application you want to use
dragging the document's icon to the Docked icon of the Numbers version you want to use and dropping it there.
launching the application version and opening the document from the File > Open menu path
Note that once opened by and saved from Numbers 3, a document cannot be opened by Numbers '09 unless it is exported from Numbers 3 in Numbers '09 format.

How to get songs from my old ipod to my new hard drive then to my new ipod?

Recently my computer crash and in order to fix it I had to get a new hard drive which means all my songs' files is gone! I had over 2,000! So I was wondering if there is a way in which I can take all the songs from my ipod and transfer it back to my computer now that it is fixed?? Also, my situation is a bit more complex because I am planning to get a newer ipod.
My old one is a ipod photo (I believe it is the 4th generation) and I am getting the 5th generation ipod video. Is there a way where I can transfer my songs from my old ipod back to my computer or itunes first then plug in my new one so it can update my old songs from my old ipod and my new songs' files in my computer all into my new ipod.
I reinstall itunes because I still use the program to listen to new songs that I have on my computer so I don't know if this information is useful or make things more confusing. I don't know if I should delete this version itune and reinstall the disk that comes with the ipod video? Or is it the same itunes version?
I really need help here I'm so confused on what to do and I am afraid of plugging my ipod in because it would update to my new song on my computer and delete all my old 2,000 songs from my ipod that I do not have backup files too because my old hard drive crash!

Connect your iPod to your computer. If it is set to update automatically you'll get a message that it is linked to a different library and asking if you want to link to this one and replace all your songs etc, press "Cancel". Pressing "Erase and Sync" will irretrievably remove all the songs from your iPod. When your iPod appears in the iTunes source list change the update setting to manual, that will let you use our iPod without the risk of accidentally erasing it. Check the "manually manage music and videos" box in Summary then press the Apply button. Also when using most of the utilities listed below your iPod needs to be enabled for disc use, changing to manual update will do this by default: Managing content manually on iPod
Once you are safely connected there are a few things you can do to restore your iTunes from the iPod.
The transfer of content sources such as songs imported from CD is designed by default to be one way from iTunes to iPod. However there are a number of third party utilities that you can use to retrieve the music files and playlists from your iPod. You'll find that they have varying degrees of functionality and some will transfer movies, videos, photos, podcasts and games as well. Have a look at the web pages and documentation, this is just a small selection of what's available, they are generally quite straightforward. Whichever of these retrieval methods you choose, keep your iPod in manual mode until you have reloaded your iTunes and you are happy with your playlists etc then it will be safe to return it auto-sync. I would also advise that you get yourself an external hard drive and back your stuff up, relying on an iPod as your sole backup is not a good idea and external drives are comparatively inexpensive these days, you can get loads of storage for a reasonable outlay.

Websphere is not loading new properties file

I am using Websphere Application Server 5.1 on WindowsXP.
My application is on Struts. I create a war file and deploy it.
I am getting all the text displayed from ApplicationResources.properites file.
I changed some key-values in that file..but the websphere is loading the page with old values..
I thought the problem could be with browser cache..I changed the JSP content to check if it loads the new jsp..It is loading the new jsp..(so the problem is not with cache)but old properties file..
I uninstalled my application and reinstalled it..stilll it did not work..
I checked the path "C:\Program Files\WebSphere\AppServer\installedApps\PC560\WMOS_war.ear\WMOS.war\WEB-INF\classes" where my war is getting extracted...
(so my latest propeties file is available to websphere)
it is showing the new properties file..but if i see the 'view source' of the page..it is showing old values..
Is it some kind of optimization of websphere? If it is so, where to change it?

If that doesn't work, try repackaging your application into a new WAR file, with the new property files, and redeploy it. WebSphere tries to be "clever" and caches/copies files from your application into another folder when you deploy it, and will not look at these files in your application's folder within the "installedApps" folder. I learned this lesson the hard way, when I wasted days trying to understand why WebSphere wasn't recognizing changes made to my web.xml file.

Codepage of .hql file in New-AzureHDInsightHiveJobDefinition -File makes a difference

Put the following contents into a myquery.hql file:

If you save that .hql file as ANSI, then then the following succeeds. If you save it as UTF8, then the following fails with an error:
FAILED: ParseException line 1:3 cannot recognize input near 'dfs' '-' 'copyToLocal'
Here's the PowerShell to run that .hql file.

Using the HDInsight tools for Visual Studio 2013, when I create a new Hive Query file, it creates it as UTF8. I don't know if there's a Visual Studio setting to change that or not. Then when I upload that to blob storage (with any Azure storage management
tool which will just preserve the codepage of the file you upload) and run it using
New-AzureHDInsightHiveJobDefinition it fails. Changing that file to ANSI before upload will work when run via
New-AzureHDInsightHiveJobDefinition.
Yes, that hive query succeeds if run from the Query Console website. Since I'm pasting in the query, I don't think codepage comes into play. It also succeed if I submit it from the HDInsight tools for Visual Studio because I believe those tools convert
it to ANSI before upload from what I've been able to trace with Fiddler.
I confirm it's UTF8 not UTF32 or UTF16. I haven't tried those to see if they fail.

I have placed a photoshop file within a new picture and it will not display

i have placed a psd file within a new psd file and it will not display. It flashed on the screen for a moment and then disappeared, and no matter how many times I try, it will not show

I started a new file, placed the image and the screen went into a bizarre pattern. I ended up closing the program and starting fresh and it worked properly. Something went wonky during the session I guess.
