Title information on contact sheets, output to JPG in Bridge CS4

Maybe I'm missing something, but I can't seem to find a place to add an overall Project Title and other general information in the contact sheet for Bridge CS4. There are the two overlays you can add for filename and extension, but that's it (and those aren't customizable). The watermark option puts text in the center of the page, and I'd prefer it in an upper corner instead, with the option for multiple lines.
Also, are the only 2 output options PDF and web gallery? I'd prefer JPG.

First, for jpeg you will have to use the old Contact sheet script for CS3.
If you want so you can copy this script to the CS4 (I even believe it is in
the goodie map that is on your installation disk for CS4.)
But to be honest, my first reaction in missing jpegs was the same but after
some experience with AOM contact sheets as PDF I really started to love them
It sounds you have not update Adobe Output Module, if using the latest
version you will have a Header and Footer section where you can add a title
and page number.
For the placement options of the watermark you should file a feature request
(main Bridge forum page at the right side column under section 'links'
Check this link for an update for AOM.

Hope the links works otherwise search the adobe site for update Output
Module Mac and you will get there.
Maybe I'm missing something,

What computer operating system is your Premiere Elements 13/13.1 running on?
Assuming Windows 7, 8, or 8.1 64 bit, open the Elements Organizer 13/13.1 and select your media
    for the Contact Sheet.
Go to File Menu/Print and set up the Print Dialog for Contact Sheet.
If you used Edit Menu/Add Caption beforehand, I can see how you can get
    Date
    Caption
    Filename
under the Print dialog's "4" and even a page number if you have more than 1 page. But, I am not seeing
where you are going to get a title for each of the contact sheets.
Any questions or need clarification, please do not hesitate to ask.
You can get into the Elements Organizer 13/13.1 from the Welcome Screen or by clicking on the Organizer Tab

  • I want to create a contact sheet in Bridge CC and there isn't an output module..

I don't seem to have the Output Module for Bridge CC. I read how to copy and paste it into the Bridge Extensions folder. It did copy it, and it did add "output" to my menu bar but the content area is blank, so I cannot pick my PDF output options for a contact sheet. I even uninstalled Bridge CC and re-installed it. I was hoping the update included the Output Module, but it didn't. Any suggestions?

  • Indesign Contact Sheet script for Adobe Bridge 1.0.4.6

Our company currently has all the Adobe CS2 products but as stand alone applications and not part of the Creative Suite. Therefore, we don't seem to have all the functionality of the suite.
In particular the script to create Contact Sheets from Indesign CS2 of items through the script in Adobe Bridge.
Can anyone tell me if there is a way to add the functionality of the contact sheet script for Indesign to Bridge without having the Adobe Creative Suite? And Why?
We are looking for something to replace an extension used by Quark to create contact sheets from Badia software. I am loath to upgrade this extension unless absolutely necessary. We receave thousands of photo's a week and output contact sheets for our editors to pick and choose which photos they want/like.
    Thanks in advance.

Why? Are you talking CPU hours or staff-hours? Does your workflow require heavy

  • Contact sheets in Bridge

Where has the easy contact sheet to PDF option gone to in the latest bridge update? Please don't tell me its back to Photoshop for contact sheets!

Yes, sure. "no information": http://helpx.adobe.com/pdf/bridge_reference.pdf . Page 5.

  • What happened to contact sheet?

I have just upgraded to CS4 from CS... what happened to Contact Sheet? As in File>Automate>Contact Sheet? I don't seem to have this in my menu when I go to File>Automate... or, is there a new way to make a contact sheet that has changed from CS-CS4?

If you are anything like me, you will be dismayed by the prospect of making contact sheets in the Bridge PDF output module, instead of file/automate/contact sheet.
I would just encourage you to persist a bit with the output module. I did and wouldn't go back now. Headers, footers, page numbers etc save me a lot of time, and it is much quicker.

  • Blank pdf contact sheet using Image Capture

I have tried using image capture to create a .pdf contact sheet of 12 jpgs but when I open the file it is blank.
Any ideas as to what I am doing wrong please?

Try with a resolution of 75 or 150.
Also when printing there are options to "fit to 1 page". The recipient should do that.

  • File Path in Bridge Contact Sheet?

Does anyone know how to add the complete file path to the caption in Bridge/InDesign contact sheets? I'm using Bridge & InDesign CS3 for Windows. I know I can get all the files in subfolders by using the flattened view in Bridge to make my contact sheet, but I still need to know each image's location once it's on the contact sheet. It seems like this should be pretty a pretty basic task. Any help?

    Hi DeNoveau,
I was struggling with this same issue. I found a solution that is somewhat helpful. Not ideal but better than nothing.
    1. Create the InDesign contact sheet as you normally would.
    2. Choose Window > Automation > Scripts
    3. In the Javascript folder, find LabelGraphics.jsx
    4. In the panel that comes up, choose File Path
That should do it. As I said, not ideal but better than nothing.

  • Script for mulipage contact sheet?

Don't know if this belongs here or in Photoshop forum since it invloves a Photoshop feature called by Bridge -- but since Bridge is where I typically use it...
Currently I'm creating contact sheets from folders selected within Bridge (or thumbnails selected in Bridge) and the only way I can quickly get them into a mulitpage contact sheet/catalog format is to then use the PDF Presentation Multipage-Document feature with the add-open-pages selection. Then I can save it as a catalog and delete the Photoshop contact sheet pages. Works well enough but it is awkward to have to first select the open contact sheet files for the PDF Presentation and then close them all and delete them. Also, in the PDF Presentation options I have to deselect all the other files in the folder one by one if the contact sheet was selected from files (or just deselect the folder if I went that route). Often pretty simple but with large numbers of files (and thus a large number of Contact Sheet pages) it gets more complicated. Seems like a really good opportunity for a script (or action or plugin). Does anyone know if such a critter is available? Many file browsers have multipage contact sheet/catalog options but none of them are as well integrated with PS and ACR as Bridge so I've stopped using them. I sure miss those catalog files though.
Couldn't find anything in Studio Exchange under either Photoshop or Bridge (actions, plugins, or scripts) but that doesn't mean much since there is so much there I usually miss just what I need!
    Thanks,
    Dan

  • Create Contact Sheet II missing

    Hi,
I'm trying to create a contact sheet in CS4 using <File><Automate><Create Contact Sheet II>
The trouble is that <Create Contact Sheet II> is missing from the drop-down menu. This is the first time I've tried this since downloading and installing CS4, but I've done it often using CS3.
How do I find/retrieve this menu option?
    Thanks

Contact Sheets can be created in Bridge now.
Yes but they are not satisfactory for many reasons.
You can get the legacy plug-ins from the Goodies folder or download them from the Adobe site.

  • Eps file quality in Bridge contact sheet

    Hi all
Im trying to make a contact sheet of eps files in Bridge, but the quality of the eps' in the final contact sheets are terrible. It doesnt appear to be a dpi issue, more that it appears Bridge is some how using a proxy image instead of the original files to produce the pdf contact sheet. The images look like Quark when the image is missing, jagged and nasty etc.
I have played around with the settings in Bridge as much as it will let me, quality as high as it will go etc. but it doesnt give me the usual pdf creation dialogue box. Do i need to change the settings of the eps' to get a better quality pdf contact sheet?
    Any help is much appreciated.
    A.

Yes for .eps it is using the image/icon preview. Run an action to save as .ai. In thsi exampel both logos are the same size in illustrator (about 6p pts wide)

  • Creating InDesign Contact Sheets

    I just upgraded to CS3 from CS2.
I am trying to use Bridge to create InDesign contact sheets.
The problem is when I am in Bridge CS3 and go to Tools > InDesign > Create InDesign Contact Sheets, I can not get Bridge CS3 to recognize photos in sub folders.
Bridge CS2 had a "Files" button that would open a window that had a "Include Sub Folders" button. That button has been removed in Bridge CS3.
Any ideas on how to tell Bridge CS3 to include sub folders when creating InDesign contact sheets.
    Thanks

It can be a little convoluted from a logic perspective, but search for "filename does not equal" and, to find all files, set the value to something stupid like "#@#@#@#@"
Check "Include All Subfolders". If there's any chance you haven't browsed all of the subfolders in bridge (to build the caches for those subfolders), check the "Include Non-indexed Files (may be slow)" checkbox.
I wrote the Contact Sheet script as a contractor for Adobe. I removed the "Files" button because Bridge actually does a much better job of filtering and finding files than the "Find" button ever could.
The "Find" button encouraged people to not use Bridge to its best advantage. I got a number of emails from folks wanting more functionality in the "Find" button than was possible (via scripting) when everything they needed was available in Bridge!
By the way, I am planning on releasing a updated and more feature-rich contact sheet (for InDesign) script in the coming weeks. Check my web site for it in mid-late October.

  • Unable to assign keywords to JPGs in Bridge

    Hi,
I have recently expereinced errors when attempting to assign keywords to JPGs in Bridge CS4. This used to work a couple of days back but now all I can assign keywords to are dng files.
I use windows 7 and if I close bridge from start up (it loads on windows start) and then re load as administrator then I can assign keywords to the JPGs I previously couldn't.
Is there anything I can do to revert this problem so I do not have to run as admin every time I launch it? Would anyone know the cause of why it happens? It's very frustrating!
Hope someone could shed any light on this!
    Cheers,
    MJ

    Hey,
Yeah, worked on Windows 7 a few days back. I tried yoru ctrl click option reset the preferences. This didn't solve the problem
Any other options? I may consider going back to a previous saved point and trying from there.
