Title not extending to edge of frame when I export

I can't figure out how to fix this issue where my title isn't extending to the edge of the frame. In premiere elements 11 it doesn't appear this way but when I export to YouTube the title is cut short. There are also some lovely black bars I'd also like to get rid, and I suspect that is a related issue, but my main concern is making the title not look so silly being cut off short.

When you open your new project for this work, are you using the Default project preset (1080i) or setting what would be appropriate for your source media.
One of the major promotional features for Premiere Elements 11 is that the program will automatically select the correct project preset for you dependant on the properties of your source media. It seems to be doing a good job doing this for HD source media, but NOT for SD standard or widescreen. From the looks of your screenshots and video properties information, the suggestion is that you are using the default 1080i30 project preset instead of setting your own for
NTSC DV Standard 4:3
To do that, when you open Premiere Elements 11, you go to File Menu/New/Project and in the New Project Dialog you set the project preset for NTSC DV Standard. Be sure to put a check mark next to "Force selected Project Setting on this project."
A YouTube preset for this upload to YouTube consistent with your Timeline/project settings would seem to be "Flash Video for YouTube". We could also talk about exporting your Timeline to an appropriate .mp4 file and then uploading that at the YouTube web site instead of Premiere Elements 11 Publish&Share/Online/YouTube.
You appear to be forcing a 4:3 video into a 16:9 project with resulting black borders et al.
If you need clarification on anything that I have written, please do not hesitate to ask.
If you want to make a 16:9 project from a 4:3 source, we could talk about possibilities BEFORE export.

assume that the properties resolve to correct values, since all projects (except one) call this task and compile successfully. the error must come from this one project that fails, but we don't know why.
any ideas?

You could be running out of memory, try increasing the -Xmx512m value to -Xmx1024m or another value that you prefer

Graphics not extending to edge of mobile screen in preview mode

Not sure if this is a bug or what... in design mode, my Accordion/menu goes the full width of the mobile page, but when I preview it, it doesn't reach the right edge, leaving a gap of open space.

PowerShot S50 lens cover not operating OK .. lens not extending. Not supported. Repair suggestions?

Hi I have a PowerShot S50 (10 yrs old and still great). The lens door is not sliding back easily - make take a lot of juggling - and therefore the lens does not extend for picture taking. When I get the door open/lens extended, the camera is operational. It is difficult to close the lens door again to protect lens.
I see the PowerShot S50 is no longer officially supported by Canon for repairs. Any suggestions where I can send this for servicing. The camera has served me well until now. I'd hate to have to get another camera for what appears to be a small mechanical problem.

Ah well... Froze again today after seeming ok for a week. Have ordered a new SIM card in case thats linked. The only thing that had changed when I rmeoved and re-inserted the battery (to turn on phone) was that the general profile had been reset, i.e. standard keypad tones on and Nokia tune instead of my own mp3. everything else still intact. at least I didn't lose all my messages and bookmarks like the old days.
I really cannot wait for the next phone to come out so I can just buy a new one and be done with it.
N82 has been the best nokia I have ever owned despite all the hassle.

The issue is the monitor picture does not extend to all four corners?

When turning on my computer, I get the HP blue screen with the display not extended to the corners, but when windows 7 came up, it would properly go to all four corners. Testing windows 10, after startup, once the display boots up it is not extending to all for corners?

I believe that you don't have the correct driver for the monitor or the Aspect Ratio is set incorrectly; most likely the correct AR is 16:9.

You used the data. Verizon can not see what it was sued for. However your phone can see whats apps used the data. go to settings-data usage- there will be a place that says data usage cycle. line the dates up with your cycle. then there will be a bar graph below that extend bother white bars one all the way to the left and one all the way to the right. after those are extended below that will be a list of apps, there should be one that used over 2 gb and that will show you what app used that data in her purse

2. well you are drawing hard coded boxes of height 1 and various width´s.
Sure the will come only for item 1, for item 2 you´d have to draw new own boxes.
Since you cannot be sure about the height of a position, you had to code these dynamically, which is possible but quite a task.
Anyway it is NOT advicable to work with boxes on line-item level. at least not with SAP-Script.
with smartforms you have an easy time doing this, while in SAP-Script you may come quite near to desperation.

How do I create a title whose size matches my video frame size?

How do I create a 1920x1080 title?
I'm using Premiere Pro CS4 on Windows 7. I created a default title. If I right-click on the title in the Project Explorer and select properties, it says:
Title Size: 720 x 480
Pixel Depth: 32
Pixel Aspect Ratio: 0.9091
If I drag this title onto a sequence onto a sequence created from the "AVHCD 1080i30 (60i)" preset then the title is automagically scaled to try to get it to fit into the 1920x1080 frame, resulting in a tiny title centered in the frame. I can make things better by right-clicking the title in the timeline and selecting "Scale to frame size", but that's not a particularly elegant solution (and the title, as displayed in the title editor, still doesn't exactly match the title displayed in the previous monitor).

Thanks guys! I created the first title in a 640x480 sequence and didn't notice that I had the option to fiddle with the frame size when I created it. Subsequently, I created new titles by duplicating a previously created title (which I had set up with desired font, effects, etc.) and just changing the title text in the title designer. This worked great as long as I was making titles for a 640x480 sequence. But when I tried to use a copy of this title in a different sized sequence then things got weird on me. I spent way too long trying to find the option to resize the title before I finally gave up and decided to spend the time to figure out how to post a question in this forum.
Just to verify how things work, I verified that the size of a new title does, indeed, default to the size of the currently selected sequence. No idea what would happen if I had multiple sequences displayed simultaneously.
Any idea how to change the size of an existing title?

Do a Select all on your pages (Most likely a master page if it effects all pages) and you will likely find an empty element or element that extends past the design edges in your desktop design.

When I try to zoom the text of an e-mail I received or sent , I can no longer use the keys Command + to enlarge the text, although I can reduce it with Command -.
As I have a problem with my eyes, This is a serious matter for me.
When I write an e-mail, if I select text and press Command +, it just displaces the text to the right.
Now, my husband has a USB keyboard. If he connects it to my computer, his regular Command + does not work either, but he uses the extended keyboard, then it works. Unfortunately, he needs it for a musical application which does not work with a wireless keyboard.

Firefox 3.6.4 and 3.6.6 use a process called, "plugin-container.exe" which was using up most of my CPU when I opened up multiple tabs that contained Adobe Flash files, and caused Firefox to lock up.
My solution was to use Firefox 3.5.10 which you can get from the Mozilla website at [http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all-older.html]
I am using Adobe Flash 10.1.53.64 without any problem in this version of Firefox. Check the release notes, I believe it contains all the latest security fixes in "Firefox 3.6.4".
Hopefully, they will fix Firefox 3.6 in the next version (e.g. Firefox 3.6.7), until then you should probably use "Firefox 3.5.10".

#1 Have you procured your domain name and web hosting yet? You'll need to do that to publish your pages online.
#2 When you sign-up for web hosting, the company will send you FTP log-in credentials to your site's web server. You will enter this info into your DW Site Definition. Site > New Site > See screenshots below:
Under Servers: Root Directory is whatever your hosting company tells you to use. This varies by web host. Some commonly used ones are public_html, www or htdocs.
After your site definition is set-up, hit the TEST button to confirm it's working. If it's not connecting, go to More Options.
Go to the Files Panel (F8). Use the UP Arrow to PUT files to remote server.
Use the DOWN Arrow to GET files from server to your local site folder.
Post back when you have finished uploading your work to the remote server.

Clips not showing up on NTSC monitor when editing

I have a Sony DSR-11 and Sony NTSC monitor connected to my computer.The clips are not showing up on the monitor when I am editing. They show up when I am in Log and Capture. Is there anything I can do to get this to work again?

How do I select the Poster Frame when exporting to video?

I cannot find how to select the frame that I want to appear as the Poster Frame in the exported video.
I can select it I can change one by right clicking an imported video OK but not the sequence!
I've been through every menu I can find & even Lynda.com training!

A standalone image on disk (JPG etc) which is displayed by a player before the video is loaded - commonly used by video player apps on websites (YouTube etc), InDesign and PDF files, etc. so the video asset doesn't have to be opened in order for the viewer to see what they're about to watch - although the image is normally captured from the video it doesn't have to be.
An image resource embedded into the XMP/ID3 data of a video or audio file which can sometimes be shown in the player, but is normally set because it appears as the thumbnail image when viewing the files in Finder or Windows Explorer. It's not part of the content stream, it's in the file header. In MP3 files it's used to store album artwork.
You can create standalone JPEG images from PP using the camera icon below the monitor and can semi-automate the export of a still image alongside your video using presets in Adobe Media Encoder, but there's no option in PP (or via Adobe Media Encoder) to specify the embedded poster image in a rendered media file. Several third-party apps can do it, either during render (Compressor / Squeeze) or after the fact (Quicktime Pro), but support for these embedded resources depends on the wrapper for the video file.
The ability to set a 'poster frame' in the clip bins in PP is solely there to help you organize your project assets visually - for example if the imported footage starts from black, or if you want to choose a frame where the slate is visible - but your choice has no effect on the sequences at export and isn't written back into the original footage.
