Title Slate Workspace Will NOT Expand, Can Ya Help?

Hey everyone, we've tried and clicked everything to get this Title Slate screen to expand so we can type and create titles. But it's just stuck in the corner. Check it out here: https://s3.amazonaws.com/RickyBreslin/TitleSlate.jpg The thing won't EXPAND no matter what we click. We're using PP CS4, this ever happen to anyone? Anyone have a fix?

Welcome to the forum.
First, go to Window>Workspace and choose either a saved Custom Workspace, or one of the default Workspaces.
If this does not work, trash your PrPro Preferences, and relaunch to recreate them.
Try the first suggestion first.

In a new email message window start to type the name of the Group you have in Contacts/Address Book in the 'To' field - it should self-complete when it recognises the name.
(Note: this only works with 'normal' Groups and not Smart 'Groups').

Hi there, Well, i thing i might have had the same problem (if you dont mean the selecting part, then try keyboad with usb and without if u dont have a macbook pro or so), i did the same and after selecting windows it said "No bootable disk" or " no boot disk" or something like that and the installer wont start when i was trying to install via CD/DVD.
The sulution is to use 2 usb-drives, one for the support drivers from apple and one for the windows it self after burning the CD/DVD to the usb on a PC using the windows own tools and creating a ISO file.
(there might be problems whit CD/DVD install sometimes)
The ISO file on a own USB is the most importat thing!! (and even apple and windows didnt know that but me and a technikal support guy from the store i bought it managed to fix it after like 4 days )

If your iMac is not starting up normally you may need to do some checking to make sure things are working correctly. I would suggest starting with the steps in this article -
Resolve startup issues and perform disk maintenance with Disk Utility and fsck - Apple Support

nevermind, managed to sort it although i have now lost everything, never again will i have a sony phone, pile of junk is probably the nicest term i can think of for them, this happened with mine, and my partners was broken (somehow screen smashed without any assistance) within 2 weeks of having it. samsung all the way!

hello everyone. Yesterday at 11:46 my powerbook, which was operating normally, crashed and
will not restart.
1 I get a filefolder with a blinking face.
2 reinstalling the OS, it will not recognize the disk
3 diskwarrior will only green light the hardware
4 zapping the PRAM did nothing
5 I have OS on an external which yesterday would not boot, but today does
how do I get the original disk to respond so I can reinstall OS?
any help would be apreciated. BTW, I'm in Spain for the next several months,
so going to the genius bar is not a solution.

I think your Hard Drive is a goner, Laptop Drives are prety short lived.
Have run the extended Apple HW Test? Do you jave that CD?

Watch it closely, sometimes with a bad HDD it just skips that test and is the only way you can tell.

My ipod connects to the computer but will not charge, can you help?

My ipod will not charge. I have tried charging via the mains and via the computer. The computer recognises it but it still won't charge. Any ideas as to what the problem might be?

Hello, I upgraded my laptop from Snow Leopard to lion, unfortunately I have a 2 music programs that no longer work. one is called the Music PadPro, which is now gone bankrupt, can anyone help?. I was talking to the Apple Store earlier and they said if I upgrade to the mountain lion it may help but I'm not so sure,

There's no reason that upgrading from Lion to Mountain Lion would make this application work. I've looked up Music PadPro. I don't know much about it, but it looks pretty old. Here are the requirements:
Macintosh G4 or higher processor running Mac OS X Version 10.2.6 (minimum),
Mac OS X Version 10.3.2 (recommended), or Mac OS X Version 10.4.2.
Looking at that, I would guess that the application would require a PowerPC processor. After the release of the Intel machines back in 2006, Apple included something called Rosetta within OS X. This allowed programs developed for the older architecture (PowerPC) to run on the newer Intel machines. The reason for this was to give developers some time to upgrade their applications to run natively on Intel processors. It was only with the introduction of Lion that Apple pulled Rosetta from their OS. They had basically given developers about five years to upgrade their applications. Unfortunately, in your case, the developer went belly up. You can always install an older version of the OS on either a separate partition or an external drive and you can run your program from there.

i have solved this issue by restoring to ios 6.1.3 to my iphone 4s.
i tried every steps on this forum and google. then i found a way to activate imessage and facetime with following steps.
step 1: backup your device to itunes.
step 2: fresh restore your device with latest firmware.
step 3: while activating your device do not sign with your apple id-skip it.
step 4: let it activate your phone number first. start using iphone.
step 5: imessage and facetime will activate to your phone number.
step 6: restore you backup and you will see your phone number and apple id activated to imessage and facetime.
hope this will solve your problem.

Your MS Office 2011 may have become corrupted. Reinstalling Office 2011 can address problems that you may be experiencing.
The current version of Office 2011 is 14.4.8. You might try reinstalling MS Office 2011
First - find your Office 2011 install disc with the product key # - and only then remove Office according to MS instructions

Then Reinstall from DVD
Then enter your Product #
After successfully reinstalling Office 2011, update your Office product using the Software update within Office called Microsoft Update or going to the Help menu within Word or Excel or PowerPoint and select Update.
It may take a few times before you get to final upgrade to current Office version.
It should be 14.4.8 as of current date.

Generally, the ikons you'll place on your desktop, (and all of those which reside on the DOCK) will be 'aliases,' which simply direct the machine to follow the path to the Application itself.
Your 'Applications' folder should be visible in the left-hand collum on any open window. Open it. If an Application will open directly it means that the path to the alias was broken and you need to delete it and make a new one, or track down its real location through the finder. Try not to ever place Applications themselves on your desktop.
After 8 days without Mail, I just succeeded at restoring mom's connections on her iMac. I'll be happy to make more suggestions as needed...
