#TITLE# template translation

I'm trying to get the #TITLE# text passed into a label to be read from jQuery but it's adding an edit link as part of the #TITLE# translation and I can't seem to find a way to stop that. I believe this is only in dev builder mode but I would like to use this in a template so the regular region title can be used instead of hardcoding one for each region but no idea how to turn that off...

No it doesn't, but I, WHATWG, W3C, and lawyers for disability activists who can sue you do. Use headings for region titles, not labels.
I guess it's not a big deal as it doesn't display the link in there but I was just being picky about the underlying source html. The href is still in there, regardless of it working or not. My question was how to prevent it from being put there.
It's controlled by a setting in the application definition. Switch from Available with Edit Links to Available.

How to create a specific title template?

Hi!
So I'm creating a video containing multiple interviews. During the interview, I want to create some text boxes next to the person being interviewed, which contain some of the keywords from the spoken text.
I'm trying to get the following result:
As for now, i'm constantly manually creating rectangles which I have to scale to the text to fit as a proper background. Is there any way to create a title template so that the background scales automatically to the text? So if I would add a line at the bottom, the background/rectangle/... would expand to the correct size?
Hope you can help me, because that could save me hours of work!

and then right click on the title on the timeline which is in the proper position, click "copy", right click on the new title(s) on the timeline and click "paste attributes."

Titles templates a different between MAC and Windows

Adobe is very incompetent on delivering content.My company is considering moving to the windows version, so we create this Windows server to host only Premiere Pro CS6. Well, the Titles are not there (trial version), so we download the file, unzip it, and copied it to the right place. But we discover that the CS6 Mac Version has a very different list of titles templates, so we simply cannot do our work in Windows. Furthermore, what several have noticed is true. The window fails to scroll or preview correctly, and the majority of the titles are ugly, not like in the MAC. In fact, it seems like they don't want to offer the same titles in the Trial Version than in the licensed version, at least this is what it looks like. It is a mistake, because how do you evaluate a version without the titles? They have to offer the same exact titles for both operating systems.
The question is, how do we transfer our Title Presets from our MAC Licensed version to the Windoes Trial version?

How to save video effects for title templates?

I just started playing with Premiere Pro CS4.
I have a beginners question, hope you don't mind:
In my video I use a third-low title to tell the name of songs played. I put them in a bin, basically just copy the first one and change the names in the copies. But when I add them to the timeline I noticed it looks much more professional to add a video-effect where opacity goes from 0 to 100% in a second, and then the other way at the end.
My problem is that I seem to have to do this over and over again, for each title. Is there a simple way to make one title-template, put it on the timeline, add video-effects, and then save that and make copies just changing the text in time-line? That would save me a lot of work, and the video-effects would be consistent in looks and timing.
Thanks for any hints or tips for this newbie.

Convert motion project into title template

I started working on a motion project, not sure what template to use, so I created a standard motion project. After working on the project for about 20 hours, I am now realizing that the title template would probably be the best option for this project even though I am not doing any actual titles. I was able to convert the project to a video effect template, but this is not really what I want. Is there some way to convert this project to a title template? Even if I have to copy/paste everything over to a new project, that would be a lot better than redoing the 20 hours that I've already spent on this thing. Since I can only have one project open at a time, I don't think copy/paste is even possible.

I think this will work for you.
-Select all the groups in your Motion project (or nest them in a single group.
-Drag the group(s) to the Library>Favorites.
-Create a new Final Cut title project with the same settings.
-Drag and Drop the group(s) from the Library>Favorites into the new Final Cut Title project.
Save and enjoy.

Title Templates in Premiere Pro CS6

I am using Premiere Pro CS6 in Creative Cloud (full subscription), all appeared to install fine, but it is not showing any title templates and I cannot see anywhere/anyhow to download them.

XML Forms Template Translation

Hi expertes!
Customer is actively using XML templates for generating news and other KM content information.
All the XML forms templates are created using XML forms builder and created in local language. The customer has customers in different countries and want to have the Templates translated so they can easily create forms in different languages. Ie: forms translated, buttons, headings and so on....
One way of creating different templates would be to open up the local template in XML forms builder and make a copy(Save as) and translate the template, generate it and thus making template available in a different language. BUT this represents a lot of work if you have lets say 5-6 languages and all templates must be translated. Not to mention if you want to add a field, you would have to do it 5-6 times.
Question?
Are there any way of "translating" the XML template like you can do with "portal content translation" so you maintain only one XML form template but it changes according to the logon language of the portal?
like adding "language filters" to one xml template

ihave found the way of translating the XML forms template for easy changing the XML forms language using Userid language. So when a user logs on and wants to create a new XML forms(news ect.) they get the form in their own language.
Found in SAP help:
Language-Dependent Resource Files
You can use the default resource files as a template for language-dependent resource files. Note the following naming conventions for language-dependent resource files:
<Preferences location>/<project name>/<project name>_<language key>.xml
For example, an item file for Italian could have the following ID:
/etc/xmlforms/SAP_DemoNews/SAP_DemoNews_it.xml
You have to create the language-dependent resource files manually (see Activities). You offcourse change the content of the xml
Question:
When we translate the form and test it, the entering template(xml) works perfect and we can generate the xml forms(news) in no time, BUT when displaying the XML forms in "SHOW" modus, it points back to a NON translated XML/XLS form. The translation of the form should also print/show the translated xml forms in SHOW modus also? Is there a way of translating the SHOW, bcs going into the forms builder is too time consuming and we can n ot do this bcs of short timeframe.

CS 6 new title template saved externally

I need to save a new title template on an external hard drive that can be accessed by other users. I already have it saved under "user templates" but that is specific to my login. I'm a teacher and need my students to be able to import it into their respective premier project from a universal drive.

With the Title selected in the Project Panel:
File > Export > Title...
The exported Title will be saved with the extension ".prtl".

That is one reason that making titles by animating the source text in After Effects comes in handy. You can change anything you want and the text just changes at the right times.

Title templates in PS3

All the title-templates in PS3 is a format named : prtl - can I convert them to another format because I will like to edit them i Photoshop CS3 ??
I will also like to "view" them, but Adobe Bridge can't - Why I Adobe make a filformat, bridge don't can view ??

You can not export a title into something Photoshop can read without flattening it. In other words, put the title on the timeline and export a frame.
You could export all of the different parts one at a time by deleting everything except one part and then export. Repeat for all parts.
I don't know why Adobe allows a title to be exported and not be read by Photoshop. It certainly would be useful.

Title-template-problem

I probably hit a "wrong key" - but suddenly my title-template in Premiere Pro CS6 looks quite different! I´m not able to choose fonds or to press T for writing a title - Can anyone tell me how to reset the title-template to default? Your help will be much appreciated! :-) Thanks a lot! Try resetting workspace or start over.

Premiere Pro CC Title templates are missing + cannot be installed

I just realised that I don't have any title templates but i need them quiet urgently.
I went on to this website: Library, title templates, template projects missing: Premiere Pro, After Effects, Encore
where it stated that you have to download a zip file and place it in the presets folder of Adobe Premiere.
I did that but it wasn"t working. Then I took the Premiere Pro Family Content Installers folder and wanted to install it in order to place it in the presets folder and the installation always gets broken off stating that there is an error.
Is anyone familiar with that kind of problem and if yes, does anyone know how I can fix it?

Missing title templates in Premiere Pro CS 5.5

I have not been using Premiere Pro very much, but now I have a lot of video clips I want to put together, and I have started digging into Premiere Pro CS 5.5, which I installed in november 2011. I observe that the title templates are missing, (I don't know enough about Premiere Pro to check if there might be any other templates missing) and I think I installed the aditonal DVD (downloaded from Adobe) when I did the installation. Can I use the template download for CS 6, or do I have to download CS 5.5 from Adobe again? I have a slow line where I live so I hope to avoid large downloads.

You might get better answers in the Premiere forum. Generally, though, since the titler tool is internal, newer version would not be backward compatible, so I'm afraid re-downloading everything is pretty much your only option.
