Titles and Trans unable to 'Update' ???

I am able to preview the titles and transitions that I would like. (both in the small window and the larger view panel) However, I am unable to 'update'. The button is actaully greyed out and I am un able to select it. However, the 'effects' options works great.
what am i doing incorrecly?
suggestions??

Thank you for your response. However, I am still having challenges. I do not see the 'T' that you are referencing. My screen is as follows:
Large view panel in top 3/4 of screen - along the bottom are the clips/timeline.
Just above that is a series of buttons for clips/photos/titles/trans/effect/idvd
when I select title i am provided with a panel that has the small preview window, speed control, below that is where I would select what i want the title to do...cartwheel, spin, shiver,..a lot of choices. next is my font / color selection.
and below that are two fields where I would type my title - it originally said
My Great Movie
Jack Ragan
there is no T.
Frustrating because I know I am trying too hard and it is gonna kill me when I finally see it.

Multi-master replication and replica_update_ruv: unable to update

I'm running Sun ONE 5.2 DS on Solaris 8 with multi-master replication comprising of 2 masters (M1 & M2) and 2 consumer replicas (R1 & R2).
M1 sends updates to consumers R1 and R2, M2 sends updates to R2 and R1 (and offcourse M1 to M2 and M2 to M1).
Replication works well at all times. However, occasionally there are a few annoying messages in the consumers' error log files (which do not affect the replication):

Has anyone come across this scenario? The explanation that I found on the web refers to 4.x Master and 5.1 DS but I do not have any of that and "Allow replicas to be 4.x compatible" is not set.

I have had a similar problem. and it was due to that I recreated a new replication agreement which pointed to a different server with the same id. Or to the same server with a different ID.
The solution provided by sun was to remove the reference to the old replicas in the dse.ldif and restart but it didn't work out. not even by ldapmodify on the replicas dn.
I had to reinstall...

IPhone 4s and iPad unable to update to 5.1 on device and through iTunes

Getting errors when trying to update to 5.1 on iPhone 4s and iPad 1. Iv tried to update through the device and on iTunes and its not working. Both devices are NOT jailbroken. iTunes saying network connection can not be established. And trying through iPad's software update on the device says " Unable to check for update. An error occurred while checking for a software update." And I clearly have internet connection. So not sure whats happening.

Ok, so I found that it seems to be a problem for some reason with my DNS Server settings from Charter. I changed my DNS Servers to Googles 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 and now its letting me download the updates. I have no clue why this would matter. Never has been a problem before in the past but that is how I got it to work.

First make sure your WiFi connection is working (can you access any websites?). If you can't access any websites or are having other WiFi issues, try the steps on this page: http://support.apple.com/en-us/ts1398
If your WiFi is working fine, then try these steps:
Force quit the App Store app (double-click the Home button and swipe up on the App Store preview). Then, try a "reset" (different from restarting). Hold down on both the Home AND Sleep/Wake buttons until you see the Apple logo on black screen (about 10 seconds). When you see the Apple logo on the black screen, let go of both buttons. When it comes back up try launching the App Store.

I have an iPod touch 32gb 3rd gen (model A1318) and am unable to update it to iOS5. When I try, I have to update iTunes first, and when I do that, it will no longer recognize my iPod (so I can't update the iOS). Help?

If it matters, I'm using a PC that's still running Windows XP, but this isn't my first rodeo, and I know both how to use the software and what applications are and aren't compatible with my computer.
I searched the web for answers, most of which amounted to a shrug and a "Meh." I called Apple support, who took a couple days to look into it, then had a supervisor call me back. His response, essentially, was a shrug and a "meh." So I'm kinda stuck. Any help you folks could give me would be much appreciated.
In addition, I've been reading a fair amount on how iOS 5 will cause a whole host of problems with the 32gb 3rd gen touch... is this true? And has Apple resolved it, or are they essentially force-retiring this model?

Don't you feel cheated and conned by this product. I am 50 years old and from what you write I can see you know a lot more about your computer than I do about mine. Additionally I live in southern Africa (in fact I live in one and work in another, neither of which appear on the drop down list when you start looking at asking Apple directly for help) and feel they shouldn't allow people to sell their products here (I bought it in a shop that sells i-Macs etc. - not off a guy on a street corner!)if they can't offer support.
I have just been going from error code to another, losing my music that took me hours and hours to install and catalogue/modify in the library etc. and now I've had enough of it.
Essentially it seems to me we have bought faulty products, and made Apple richer than Microsoft in the process.
I'm turningmy back on this bloody iPod Touch, giving it to my son to see if he has the ability and interest to get it working, and if he hasn't I'm just goinbg to have to sell it to a sucker who also wants to buy into the dream, until he wakes up to the reality of shoddy product. hours in front of a computer screen, a fortune in downloads (here I only have about 5 to 10 kb per second download speed), trawling the internet looking for people than have also suffered at the hands of an obviously fatally-flawed system.where every time Apple just recommends to install the latest version of iTunes.
I for one would rather have my money and my wasted time back............
I know I didn't help, but really I don't have any axe to grind against Apple, it's just that the hype in no way lives up to the reality. Look at all the people begging for anwers to their problems on this web-site! I know the shop in Mozambique won't give me my money back, but Apple should, and if Ford sold cars as reliable as these iPods, they'd be banned from selling them........

I am getting blocked plug in messages and am unable to update Adobe flashh

I am getting "blocked plug-in" messages whenever I try to watch a video. When i try to download Adobe flash updat it also reads blocked plug in. This has not happened before. What gives? The same thing happens on my ipad, but it never did work well.

1. System Preferences > Other/ Flash Player > Advanced > Delete All
     Press the "Delete All" button
2. Install Adobe Flash Player.

Unable to update my job title in my contacts

I am unable to update my Job Title in the contact entry for myself. I can change other people's Job Title and I can change the other information on my contact entry, but I cannot change my Job Title. I can re-type and erase the text, but when I click "Done" it reverts back to the original entry. It never saves any of my changes to this field. Is there a step that I am missing?

Each application has the Apple ID used to download it stored inside it. This can’t be removed without deleting and redownloading it.

Unable to update album cover images and sometimes ID3-tags

Hello everyone,
I'm having problems with updating my track information on those tracks that I imported from my hard disk (mainly mp3s). I'm unable to add an album cover to most of them and sometimes it doesn't save the changes when I'm changing title and album information.
The last things I've done were updating iTunes to version 7.3.1.3 and additionally I chose the option "convert ID3-Tags to v2.4".
Before those two changes everything worked very well, but now I don't know what to do.

I figured out that after the ID3-Tag-conversion there are some files that are still alterable and some are not.
With the latter ones I even cannot re-convert the ID3-Tags back to version 1.

Unable to update apps on iPad mini. I have even restored the iPad and now I can't download any of my previously purchased apps.

You should be syncing all your contacts and calendars with your computer, either via iCloud or iTunes, so it is easy to re-sync them back to the phone after you restore.

TS3694 I have a Ipod touch 4G, and i am unable to update or restore it.

Error 1004, 1013, 1638, 3014, 3194: These errors may be the result of the connection to gs.apple.com being redirected or blocked. Follow these steps to resolve these errors:
Install the latest version of iTunes.
Check security software. Ensure that communication to gs.apple.com is allowed. Follow this article for assistance with security software. iTunes for Windows: Troubleshooting security software issues.

I am unable to update my album art on my iMac since I started using Match (and after upgrading to Yosemite 10.10.3). A message advises that it's not possible to removed old artwork if it's embedded. How can I 'unembed' old cover art and replace?

Normally artwork recovered with iTunes is stored as a separate artwork file and iTunes refers to that file to display artwork when you click on a track. However, if you then copy the file to another player the artwork file is left behind and the track will not display the artwork on the other player. To get around this it is possible to embed the artwork in the music file itself so it always travels with the file. Artwork can be embedded by you or files from third party sources may arrive with embedded artwork. iTunes apparently now won't replace artwork for such files. You can accomplish this by completely deleting artwork for a file or set of files in Get Info, then getting iTunes to fetch artwork which will then be set as a reference file rather than being embedded.
I use an old iTunes so unless you are using an ancient iTunes it won't help for me to give you great details. To erase artwork I simply get info on a series of files and check the box next to the artwork box without adding any artwork and close. To do it for single file I Get Info, go to the artwork display tab and click delete. Here's a Windows reference for a newer iTunes (but the "old Get Info" reference is for early iTunes 12 and no longer works with newer):I cannot delete embedded album artwork in iTunes 12

Contact App Store support. There's a link on the right hand side of the App Store Window. They're the only ones who can sort out account issues.
