Not in iMovie. You could finish your movie in iMovie (all but this).
Then, you can add the link in QuickTime Pro version 7.
First you need to install QuickTime Player Version 7 if you don't have it. QT7 and QT X can coexist on your Mac. Then buy the license key from Apple to convert it to QuickTime Pro.

Missing Titles and Themes menus

In January 2012 purchased Prem elements 10 and soon afterwards the tutorial DVD by M Jago. Then whilst watching this tutorial, discovered my Prem 10 only displayed one menu under either "Titles" or "Themes" under the Edit menu.
I was asisted by somebody within aAobe Empire to locate and download these mising menus, and then all was well.
A few weeks ago, my pc underwent an upgrade, clean etc, now I find these "Themes & Titles" have vanished as the Akamie programme was uninstalled, obviously not realising this was part of an Adobe download.
Can you again assist me to locate these missing "Titles, Themes" download content again, and is it possible to make a copy to disc, so this situation doesn't happen yet again.
I have viewed the website but unfortunately unable to locate any downloads for Prem 10 and the "Help" menu checking "updates" states all up to date.
I'm not very computer literate, so please try and keep reply simple to understand, without techical jargon.

Hi Steve. Sorry previous reply may have been sent, before I had completed. Using Windows7 prior to purchase of Prem 10.
The initial issue was downloading the BBC tv programmes as they had completely changed the way this was done, when I could just download to Windows Media, but not now. The "upgrade" was more of a PC clean, uninstall unused programmes, sort out TV issue, and whilst doing this, found hard drive "compacted". How relevant box ticked no idea. However sorted this out.
Unfortunately unable to download the screen dump, made when your previous assistant found the answer, which I was hoping to send to you.

As far as functionality goes, I don't see anything wrong. when it comes to efficiency you need to keep some general pointers in mind. These issues which I'm bringing up will not affect your code currently since your array sizes are small but can start creating memory fragmentaion and slow down the software if your array sizes are much larger and the software runs for a long period of time.
1. Try not to use Build Array. Each time you use a built array labview creates a copy in the memory. Try to initilized your arrays and replace the subsets.
2. as much as you can try not index arrays or unbundle cluster multiple times. try to perform as many tasks as possbile in one shot. (this was evident in your second loop)
Besides that it's looking good.
I made a few modifications to your code and attached it. I wanted to give you a different take on it as it relates to being able to control the inputs and outputs programitically, if you had a look up table. I didn't make the same modifications to your second loop but I can guide you through what needs to be done if you would like to move in this direction. Again your original code is well done for someone who is new to labview so don't feel like you need to follow the new VI design. Just try to remove the build array and multiple indexing as a good programming habbit.

Titles work in iMovie but not after I export them

Everything seems to be working normally in my iMovie project but when I export the video, some of the titles are no longer readable (they seem too transparent). When I view the project is full screen mode - it works but once I finalize it and export it, the last few titles get messed up.
I cannot change the color of the text because I am using the "pixie dust" title (which is only in one color).
I have tried clearing the cache, closing iMovie, restaring my computer, duplicating the projects and deleting the old ones...
What else can I do?

For some reason, No matter what theme I select, none of Them appear. I also cannot bring up the menu for titles to add any. Is this a known issue at all?

Why are my titles blurred in imove HD 6?

It looks like this is a common problem with imovie that nobody has fixed I use imovie all of the time (5 years or so), had this problem a few years ago and unfortunately cannot remember what to do so my titles are not blurry.

I would start by deleting preferences and doing a permissions repair. Close iMovie. Go to User (the House icon)/Library/Preferences and send to the trash the file called com.apple.iMovie.plist. iMovie will replace this file when you reopen it. Then go to the Disk Utilities app on your Mac and run a permissions repair for your hard disk. Now open iMovie and see if you still have the problem.
Sometimes it helps to delete the contents of the file FontCollections (not the Font Book), located in User (the House icon)/Library.
If still having the problem, you might want to delete any duplicate fonts. Do this by going to MacHD/Font Book, and scrolling through your listed fonts. Any that have a black dot next to them are duplicates. Select each duplicate font and click on Edit/Resolve Duplicates in the menu.
Finally, the colors bright white and red tend to turn out blurry. If you are using either of those fonts, try graying down the white and toning down the red.

Titles disappear in iMovie. Is there a limit to how many?

I'm making a little video trailer. Nothing fancy. I have a video clip running and I just want to put some faded in/out titles over it. I drag in a title into the first part of the clip, change the text, hit apply, and change the duration to 3.0 seconds. I put another title in right after it, change the text, and duration to 3.0 seconds. Everything's fine. But when I try to put in a third title, the second title disappears. No matter how I try to add another title (double-clicking to insert at playhead or drag/drop) the second title always disappears.
Is there a limit to how many titles I can put in? I didn't think I was doing anything fancy here.
(OSX 10.10 Yosemite, iMovie 10.0.6)

Having same trouble. Someone else said they found they had a sliver of a reminder of a caption that was hidden somewhere and causing the problem, but I don't know how they found that sliver; I certainly cannot find anything of the sort. I am up to exactly 10 captions, which makes me wonder about limits; how many had you placed before it stopped accepting them?

Burning a DVD without titles or themes, how?

I have taken a few of my old movies on VHS and using the Formac Studio DV I imported them into iMovie HD 6. Then I transferred the movie to iDVD 6 to burn to DVD, but I just want to do a straight burn and not have any themes or titles but cannot find a way to accomplish this.
I'm just looking to make an exact copy of the VHS movie onto a DVD without any fancy menus or chapter markers, etc. Is this possible?

This questions is asked repeatedly for some reason....personally, I like some of the themes....:)

Title drop shadow iMovie '13

It seems that one can no longer add a drop shadow to titles in the new (October 2013) version of iMovie.
A lot of nice features have been added, but this seems to be an omission.
Or is there a way to add a drop shadow that I'm missing?

Thank you a pleasure to be here although i am a little unsure how much i will be able to help other people. I quite recently switched to Mac and haven't really had many problems to solve. Why i bought a Mac really after coveting them for a few years and being stuck in windows ****.
Aaaanyways. You do make a very good point. However i don't actually edit for DVD very often, this is all for web and particuly when using white lettering on a background the text looks dirty as it fades in. The style i use is also very much in tune with the website i run, very bright and... blocky i guess is the closest i word i can find to describe. Very simplistic indeed. Orange and white are the clours of choice for the project i am on now.
As you say, drop shadow has its use and reasons for using, but right now i really don't want it and don't seem to have that option with iMovie. In fact the ONLY place WMM beats iMovie is on the titles front.
I appreciate it could be a case for stepping up to a higher end application but i am currently prohibited by cost and actually like working with a simplistic editor for now. Learning to walk before i run

Help with titles in themes & photo clips jumping

Hi all - working on a project and can't figure two things out! One, my main opening that I did in the themes opening I want to say a longer title than it will let me. I can type it in under title and it lets me but it only show three words when it plays - can't figure it out? Second, I have about 50 photo clips and 4 of them are jumping mid-play. Only in the timeline setting. When I play them individually they are fine. They jump mid-way thru the play and the transitions are fine. Only 4 out of 50 doesn't make sense? Anyone know? Thanks!!

I've just gone and read that reference.
No, I've tried extracting the audio and re-doing the title, but when I burn the DVD (and you know how long that takes) I find on playback I have these grating noises.
I suppose I should be grateful they are only brief and affect only a few of the many titles.

I'm trying to use the Opening Title effect on iMovie

for the "neon" theme and for some reason it keeps coming up with the title and then "university of rochester" underneath, but it won't let me edit the university of rochester text. does anyone know why that would be? i go to the university of rochester but I don't know how my computer knows that....

Using Trailer text "Titles" in other imovie projects?

The various trailers in the new imovie 11 are great, but I can't seem to utilize the text / titles specific to those trailers on any of my other projects? Is there a trick to pulling it off? Same thing with the music in the trailers, can't seem to apply it to / access within any other projects in imovie ....

There is a better way to use the "Animatics" used in iMovie's trailers. Unfortunately, Apple didn't consider that more text may be need in a trailer as there is currently no command or native function to create new text using the same title effects used in iMovie's trailers. Fortunately, after a short search on the net, I found this:

I'd like to find a way to do this. After using iMovie (just got my iPad 4 days ago) and ReelDirector, I can say iMovie needs some serious updating to be any kind of feasible video editor / authoring solution.
