Tjsp file doesn't Update

;9Fellows,
I face with another strange problem.
The customer have a customization on OIM web page where force the Passwords fields to have maxlenght=8 characters.
This was implemented with OIM Password Rules together.
Now the customer asked to remove this custom.
Ok, I open the xlWebApp.war, and inside the directory /titles I've change the files that have the modified before.
After this I remove all inside the /procompiled and /temp directories, re-deploy the xlWebApp.war,running the patch_oc4j.sh with success, re-start the opmctl and check the modification.
All the fields changed ok, unless the fields of Change Password. Exactly the follow fields:
Old Password
New Password
And the file that I've change (tjspChangePasswordTiles) have the new modification.... Funny not?
Someone know what's happen?

Search fro these lines in your JSP one by one :
<input type="password" name="oldPassword" maxlength="*200*" class="Fields" value="" autocomplete="off" />
<input type="password" name="newPassword" maxlength="*200*" class="Fields" value="" autocomplete="off" />
<input type="password" name="confirmPassword" maxlength="*200*" class="Fields" value="" autocomplete="off" />
Replace it with:
<input type="password" name="oldPassword" maxlength="*8*" class="Fields" value="" autocomplete="off" />
<input type="password" name="newPassword" maxlength="*8*" class="Fields" value="" autocomplete="off" />
<input type="password" name="confirmPassword" maxlength="*8*" class="Fields" value="" autocomplete="off" />
Second thing you are saying all changes are not reflecting after redeploying. Sometimes it shows such issues but not a big problem. If you are using JBoss then you'll have to delete contents of tmp folder and if you are using weblogic then you'll have to delete Precompiled contents before running the patch.
In weblogic you can do the changes in teh JSP it self.

  • Moving files doesn't update Flash Skins in DW CS 4?

    Hello,
    on a page I've got a flash movie (.swf with skin (via
    importing/converting a qt in adobe media encoder, then importing
    video into flash, adding a skin, them exporting to site folder an
    opening in DW CS4).
    it works fine in the browsers.
    now when I want to change the position of the page in my site
    folder (move it into different folder) DW asks me if to update
    links, I click okay, but it doesn't update the code/links whatever
    (to show me the skin for controlling the movie). What have I
    forgotten to consider? Maybe alsready at exporting the file(s) from
    Flash?
    Thanks in advance,

    (I will assume you're using the FLVPlayback component in
    Flash)
    The .swf that holds the url of the flv (let's call that
    player.swf for
    now) uses whatever link you give it. You can give it a root
    relative
    location so it will work from anywhere on your site.
    /videos/flvs/film1.flv for example.
    And, depending on the object/embed code generated, you should
    be able
    to edit that in the code view in DW. Something like
    &streamname=/videos/flvs/film1
    And you can then store player.swf in a different location.
    /media/swfs/player.swf for example.
    I think DW will update links to player.swf if you move
    player.swf to a
    different location, but I don't know if it will update
    object/embed
    code.
    However, it seems that .swf files created with the
    FLVPlayback
    component are hard-coded to look for the skin file in the
    current
    location - that is, the location of the html file with the
    object/embed
    code.

    Understandable.

    > connected with the html code, but how and why?
    Oops. I think I answered this above. I think it is the
    FLVPlayback
    component that creates a hard-coded path to the current
    directory.

    published from

    > There must be sth I am missing here...
    Again, you can store the player .swf files anywhere, and the
    .flv files
    anywhere, but AFAIK, the skin .swf files must be in the same
    folders as
    the .html files that reference them.
    There's a chance that somebody in the Flash forums has
    created a work-
    around, but I haven't been there in a while.
    I haven't tested, but you /might/ be able to set a BASE href
    element to
    get around it. Of course, all other links in that page would
    need to be
    root relative after doing so.
    Another method (if supported by your host) might be using
    .htaccess
    with a rewrite directive.
    If you're feeling adventurous, you can edit (a copy of) the
    FLVPlayback
    component or one or more of its actionscript files found in
    the
    Flash configuration folder.

  • Bridge CS4 Preview of NEF Files Doesn't Update

    Somewhere along the line, this stopped working for me. I can click on a thumbnail in Bridge CS4 to edit the file in Camera Raw. After editing, the thumbnail in Bridge has that little icon with two triangles in the upper right showing that the file has been edited. However, the thumbnail does not update to show the edited version. It still looks as if unedited. How do I fix this? The ORF files from my Olympus camera update okay, so it seems to be an issue specifically with NEF. I am fully updated to Photoshop 11.0.1 and Camera Raw 5.6. Windows XP, Nikon D200.

    Thank you! That was it. The option to change it is not available in preferences (though I believe it was in early CS versions). It's hidden in a dropdown menu associated with an icon at the top. It sure wasn't easy to find, and I probably would not have done so without your lead. Thanks again!

  • Code doesn't update when uploading new files to website.

    code doesn't update when uploading new files to website.   I was using an old DW version for a long time then forced to upgrade when I bought my MacBook Pro. Now when I make changes to my pages and link to new files etc on my harddrive, when i upload the pages it won't image because the code still points to harddrive (this did not used to be a problem)... I manually changed the code on the web host site to point to the site and it loaded fine. But now my files on my harddrive also point to the web host files and now don't image on my computer. I never had to worry about this so far and wonder if the new version has a setting I'm supposed to be aware of so that I can design on my hardrive and upload and it knows that the files are being uploaded with it?  Ugh hpe this makes sense - I'm NOT a webs designer and the new DW is way more than I use in it's technology.

    Hi
    This sounds like you have not defined your site in the site definition.

  • Why is my Firefox Aurora seems to be located in Program Files (x86)\Aurora\updated\firefox.exe, but that directory doesn't exist on my computer?

    I'm using FusionDisplay to get a taskbar for my second monitor, and the taskbar has worked well until now. Now when I open pinned Aurora, it opens a new application and doesn't merge with the pinned down application icon.
    It seems to locate the Firefox.exe to Program Files (x86)\Aurora\updated\firefox.exe, which doesn't exist. Also windows task manager right click menu for firefox.exe won't open anything when I click Open File Location.

    Hi. I'm having the same problem with Final versions of Mozilla applications (FF and TB) on Win7 x64 as well. I don't have Display Fusion or the likes.
    This started around FF15, and happens about every other update since. This is Very frustrating. Restarting the computer fixes it though. I'd never believe I'd have to restart the computer after pretty much about every update, major or minor. Now this happened to me for both FF19->19.02, and TB 17.0.3->17.0.4 at the same time. No other software running meanwhile.
    This happens for about the 3 or 4th time. It's frustrating to have to restart every now and then for a browser update.
    I'll stick to a version for both (19.0.2 and 17.0.4) forever, thanks Mozilla! Couple that with the inability of most versions of TB to sustain a longer uptime than 10-15 days with no addons and just 4 pop accounts with 50-100 emails and just one with 1000.

  • Batch Processing doesn't update files in Premiere Pro CS5.5

    Hi,
    I'm not sure if this question should be under 'Audition' or 'Premiere Pro', but I'm selecting a large range of audio clips (from a wedding ceremony) and sending to Audition from Premiere (selecting 'Edit in Adobe Audition')
    When the clips appear in the files section of Audition I select 'Batch Process', drop them in and make the batch process start. When everything is finished and the files are automatically saved, I head over to Premiere to see if the wav's have updated - but nothing. Everything is exactly the same.
    Any help would be great?
    I'm not adding any prefix's etc to the filename, and I'm selecting 'overwrite existing files' and 'same location as original files'.
    Cheers,
    Thomas

    Hi Durin,
    Sorry for the delay, had a couple of deadlines to meet and ended up doing the hundred-or-so clips one-by-one in audition to get it done.
    That's the issue exactly, I go back to Premiere after doing the batch process (and they all auto-save) but Premiere doesn't update the waveform or in fact the audio doesn't show the changes I've just made. The strange thing is that if I do them one by one, then Premiere recognizes the changes and I can get on with it.
    The steps I take are: 1) Drop the clip in the timeline, do a bunch of editing (occasionally nesting and multi-cam editing a sequence). 2) Right click and Edit in Audition 3) Open Batch Process in Audition 4) Drag drop all the files just sent to Audition from Premiere, into the Batch Process section 5) Run batch process 6) Go back to Premiere and see if it's updated in the timeline. I wait, and wait, but nothing. Everytime.
    I'm thinking it's something simple I've clicked, but have no idea what. Either that or it's some sort of bug issue.
    I will be upgrading to CS6 creative cloud soon, hopefully that'll fix it.
    If you have any ideas, I'd love to hear them. Otherwise, thanks for trying.

  • Itunes doesn´t update the media information on my mp3 files

    I hjust moved all my media library to a "My book" external drive. I had to rebuild my entire library (throug shift + init itunes) but now I tunes is neither updating my library nor the multimedia information of my pm3 files. For example when i update the albun info, I tunes would change the file from it´s location and create a folder with the new album name inside the folder with the artist name. I have already gone to preferences and in the advanced tab activated the option "Keep ITunes music folder organized". Can somebody help me?

    doesn't update the files or delete them
    First off it is not supposed to delete them, just
    because you delete them from iTunes. I am not sure
    it created new folder names after the initial
    download either.
    Is the "iTunes keep my library organized" option in
    the preferences menu checked?
    Whenever i deleted a file form my library Itunes would ask if i wanted to delete the file from the library or also from the hard disk. now it doesn´t do it and it just remove the file from the itunes library.
    The option is checked.

  • PSD preview doesn't update when i change psd-file

    Hello everyone!)
    I work in Mac OS Mountain Lion. PSD preview doesn't update when i change psd-file placed on external hdd or flash drive (ntfs or exfat).
    Create psd-file.
    Сhanged psd-file in Photoshop cs6 (preview don't update).

    Same problem with PDF files.
    Now it's very difficult to detect latest version of psd-file.
    Does anyone have a similar problem using not HFS file system?

  • File size doesn't update

    On my Win 2008 SP2 Enterprise x64 system I have a ftp application I'm running.  It is downloading a file.  When I look at the file in Windows Explorer or with the DOS dir command the file size + last modify time aren't current and can be many hours
    old.
    If I then look at the file properties via right click and Properties I see the same.  Close the Properties box, exit the folder, then go back to the folder and the file size/modify time are correct.
    The drive is set to "optimize for quick removal" (cache disabled) and if I'm downloading several files the size discrepancy can be several GB - more than my system RAM.  The folder isn't shared.  Shadow copies is disabled.
    Event logs show no problem and saving to a different disk doesn't resolve it.
    Thoughts?

    Hi Dennies,
    Here is the result I got:
    It is not a bug, but rather just the way that NTFS works.
    The file IS getting updated, but the file Size is just not being updated along with it until some outside event forces a refresh of the file size on disk (F5 or file completion)

  • Apple Update doesn't update yet states all files are up to date

    I tried running the Apple Software update on my 10.6.6. It runs, bu then it gives me a message that all files are already updated and the only option is to quit. It doesn't update any files.
    I tried even going to the direct file link to update Epson drivers. I know there's an updat out there for Epson. My current driver for my R2880 printer is v8.17 and I know that there's an upgrade to 8.37 (I have done this update on another MAC).
    I have done other updates before without any issues. I've tried 4-5 times then rebooted my MAC and it still doesn't update. Any help would be appreciated.

    If SU doesn't show the update, then either you've not selected the Epson printer in the Print & Fax prefPane or it needs to be connected to the machine. BTW, the latest Epson update is at http://support.apple.com/kb/dl900 Download and install it manually.

  • Template page doesn't update the css file location

    I've been using Dreamweaver for years; been using templates for years but can't figure why this now happening.
    I create a new page from a template (that I've used for years) and everything on the page (including image and other links) is fine and updates properly; Links to css files do NOT update.
    The relevant template code is as follows:
    @import url(../p7pm/p7pmh13.css);
    @import url(../tourstyles/tour2fluid.css);
    The page code is as follows:
    @import url(file:///D|/Wine Tour/p7pm/p7pmh13.css);
    @import url(file:///D|/Wine Tour/tourstyles/tour2fluid.css);
    I've switched the links relative from document to site root and back again with no joy.
    Sure would appreciate a pointer on how to fix this.  Thanks.

    It looks as though the site definition is wrong. Have you fallen foul of the problem with the latest versions of Windows not registering the site root folder correctly? See http://forums.adobe.com/thread/478327.

  • My iTunes doesn't keep track of my listening history anymore. It doesn't update play counts and default "Recently Played" playlist.

    My iTunes doesn't keep track of my listening history anymore. It doesn't update play counts and default "Recently Played" playlist. But it still tracking plays from my iPhone and syncing them.
    I've tried to repair it with setup file. Nothing's changed.
    Can you help me with that?
    NOTE: Now I tried disabling the crossfade feature and it worked, started to count again. But I like crossfade, I don't want to keep it off.

    I think I got this figured out. The playcount does update, but not how the previous iPod models update their playcount. Instead of immediately updating the playcount right after you finish the song like the older iPod models, iPod Touch keeps the updates in memory. The next time you connect to iTunes it'll sync those playcounts in memory to the actual songs itself, effectively updating the playcount of the songs only after connecting to iTunes. I have set my syncing manually. That's why after connecting to iTunes, my playcounts are updated. BUT it doesn't solve the mystery of my Smart Playlist. Even though in iTunes, the correct songs are listed, in the iPod Touch, it shows the old playlist.
    Don't you just hate that? It was working fine before on non-iPod touch models. Now we have to live with this new bug. I just hope when they release software 2.0 it fixes these bugs and that they *give it for free!* People shouldn't be charged on something they should have gotten as a support!

  • I can't download the Adobe Edge Reflow. The file's downloading is successfull but the file doesn't go to my Creative Cloud so I can't install the programme. I have already install the Photoshop CC and the Reflow Plug-in for Photoshop. May I ask help? :) T

    I can't download the Adobe Edge Reflow. The file's downloading is successfull but the file doesn't go to my Creative Cloud so I can't install the programme. I have already install the Photoshop CC and the Reflow Plug-in for Photoshop.

    Hello
    1. I am running on Windows 8.1
    2. When running the installer file from https://creative.adobe.com/products/download/reflow I get the following choice
    I click "OK" which doesn't do anything for me (CC is off).
    I turn CC on and run the installer again. I get the following window that within few settings disappears:
    Then - just for half a second it says "Launching Creative Cloud desktop" and then it brings CC to front, and that's all.
    RF still not there.
    3. I spoke ta support agent on the Adobe chat on Friday. He looked into my computer for an hour. Uninstalled After Effects (after failing to update it). For some reason all apps disappeared from the list. They then reappeared after he opened PS.
    This morning After Effects is still showing up in my system and is operational.
    Weird.
    4. At the end the agent suggested maybe Firewall is the problem here. Trying that out now.

  • AS3 swf doesn't update variables set via javascript

    Can't figure this one out:  I've got a C4 project with 2 slides.  First slide has a button that executes a Javascript call:
    SetStringVariable("myVar");
    Where myVar is an internal C4 user variable with a default value of "Hello World".
    The second slide has myVar being displayed in a text caption.
    I publish the swf (AS3) and add this javascript function to the .htm file:
    function SetStringVariable(n)
         document.getElementById('Captivate').SetVariable(n, "I set my variable!");
         alert("my var: " + document.getElementById('Captivate').GetVariable(n));
    When you run the project on the web, the alert comes up with "I set my variable!" but the caption on slide 2 still says "Hello World".  Not sure why this occurs since I've just done a round trip with the variable.  It's as if C4 assigns the variable behind the scenes, but the UI doesn't update.  This does not occur if the C4 project is published in AS2.
    Anyone experience this?  Any workarounds?  I'd like to be able to use the SetVariable function in AS3 projects.
    TIA,
    Jim Leichliter

    Steve Howard noted that you can edit the CaptivateMainTimeline.as file typically located C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Captivate 4\ActionScript 3.0\.
    First, I added an external callback:
    try{
                   if((ExternalInterface.available == true) && (parent==stage))
                        myTrace("ExternalInterface is available");
                        ExternalInterface.addCallback("cpSetValue", cpSetValue);
                        ExternalInterface.addCallback("cpGetValue", cpGetValue);
                        ExternalInterface.addCallback("mycpSetValue", mycpSetValue);
                        ExternalInterface.addCallback("mycpSetValue2", mycpSetValue2);
                        ExternalInterface.addCallback("cpSetValueJim", cpSetValueJim);
    Then I wrote my handler for the callback function which was a slight modification to the cpSetValue function that was already there:
         //JBL: For External Interface setting any type of value
              public function cpSetValueJim(variable:String, val):void
              //myTrace("cpSetValue variable1 " + variable + " ; val  " + val);
              var arr:Array = variable.split(".");
              var ref = this;
              for(var i=0; i < arr.length -1; i++)
                   ref = ref[arr[i]];
              ref[ arr[arr.length -1] ] = val; // This works fine for numbers, booleans and strings
    Just make sure you publish your project in AS3.
    You can place some js in a captivate button:
    SetStringVariable("NameOfYourUserVariable");
    Modify the published .htm file by placing in this js function.
    function SetStringVariable(n)
         document.getElementById('Captivate').cpSetValueJim(n, "I set my variable!");
         alert("my var: " + document.getElementById('Captivate').GetVariable(n));
    That's powerful stuff.  Thanks Steve (ACE) for pointing this out!  This opens up a whole new world of possibilities.

  • Desktop files don't update themselves...

    I keep my mail running in the backround all the time, but when I want to attach a file that I have just created (say a pdf) the file doesn't show up unless I quit the Mail program and relaunch it. It seems to reset the desktop files so I can choose the file. Is there any way of resetting something in the program so I don't have quit and relaunch to update the desktop files?

    Hi Sherry! and Welcome To Discussions!
    Without quitting the program, try just clicking on an open area of the Desktop, and see if the files then appear.
    Good Luck!
