TLP client configuration with Apache
Can someone help out with configuring a TLP client and server to send SUN explorer output from client to server through Apache.
I'm getting closer, I finally got the connector to install
with the folling command line, and a 1.4 version of the JDK
installed:
C:\jdk1.4.2_13\bin\java -Dtrace.ci=1 -jar wsconfig.jar
-server coldfusion -ws apache -dir C:\Apache\conf -bin
C:\Apache\bin\httpd.exe -coldfusion -v
That was a lot of work for something that should be easy, I
hope Adobe corrects this problem in their installer soon, or at
least provides steps that are a little more clear for WinXP users.

Hello.
My question is a little bit off topic.
I try to read client certificates with request.getAttribute("javax.servlet.request.X509Certificate"), but the result is always null.
Probably it's null because I have nothing on the session. So my tomcat does not have the certificate. I use apache + mod_ssl + mod_jk + tomcat.
And here is my question: how did you configured apache and tomcat so that tomcat has the client cert ?

Issues in ssl configuration with apache server (using reverse proxy)
Hi,
I am able to use apache server as a reverse proxy to connect to Portal. When I enter the web server url as https://mywebserver.com, I am able to connect to the http url of the Portal. But the moment I try to connect to the https url of Portal with this https url, I am not able to connect to the Portal. Thus I am not able to use apache as a proxy server for https connections it makes. What must I do. I read that mod_proxy_connect needs to be used, but how do I use this?
The second problem is that I need to use more than one kind of mapping.
For example I must be redirected to the Portal even if I use http://webserver.com , or even if I use https://webserver.com or even if I use http://webserver.com/irj or https://webserver.com/irj or http://ipaddress-websserver/irj etcI have SSLCertificateFile and
and SSLCertificateKeyFile .
My problem is with regard to ssl/CertificateChainFile?
what is this? Also how do I upload my J2EE Certificate into apache.
The problem is with Apache handshake is not happening.

HELP ME. Client Configuration with Data Guard
Hi,
I made a DATA GUARD configuration with Oracle 10g r2 and GRID CONTROL 10.2.0.3.
I've 1DB OMS, 1 DB primary, 1 DB standby phisical, 1 DB observer, fast-startfailover on.
Everything works fine: failover, switchover.
My question is: how the client knows what DB is open when the primary DB fail? How to configure the client can know what the DB is active?

Newly installed coldfusion 11 configured with apache cannot read css/js/jpg files
I am sure I am missing something really easy, but I cannot get my css stylesheet to work on my fresh installation.
coldfusion 11 with apache 2.2
my cfm files can be parsed in subfolders, but a css file (or anything else other than cfm files) in the same folder doesn't seem to be working as hoped
if I type in something like "localhost/appName/css/main.css" I get a 404 File Not Found error
Does this error indicate an apache or coldfusion problem?

Could you please confirm if the webroot you are referring to is the ColdFusion webroot, or Apache webroot.
CSS files in the ColdFusion webroot may not be served when explicitly requested through the Apache port, since Apache would not even forward the request to ColdFusion.
Of course, when a CFM page is requested, stylesheet's referenced within CFM pages must get loaded!

I just installed CF 7.0.2 on a WindowsXP machine running On
Apache 2.2. Installation goes fine, however when I try to restart

command line they give to work after adjusting the paths for WinXP,
it fails with "Exception occured while trying to get an MBean,"
when I inspect the log, the error that causes the exception is

"java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Object name cannot be
null"
Anyway, I'm not sure that TechNote will solve my problem at
all.
I would appreciate it if someone could help me out with this,

with the folling command line, and a 1.4 version of the JDK
installed:

C:\Apache\bin\httpd.exe -coldfusion -v
That was a lot of work for something that should be easy, I
hope Adobe corrects this problem in their installer soon, or at
least provides steps that are a little more clear for WinXP users. -
Mod_jk load error with Apache on OS X

I have been running CF9 on OS X with a MacPorts install of Apache 2.2.21 with no issues as a "standalone" server installation. To get ready for CF10 I have ben trying to get CF10 configured with Apache. The specefic error I am getting when launching Apache is:
Cannot load /Applications/ColdFusion10/config/wsconfig/1/mod_jk.so into server: dlopen( /Applications/ColdFusion10/config/wsconfig/1/mod_jk.so, 10): Symbol not found: _apr_stat$INODE64\n Referenced from: /Applications/ColdFusion10/config/wsconfig/1/mod_jk.so\n Expected in flat namespace\n /Applications/ColdFusion10/config/wsconfig/1/mod_jk.so
I have done the following:
1. Recompiled Apache and forced a 64-bit compile
2. Uninstalled CF9
3. Uninstalld and reinsalled CF10
4. apxs is installed in /opt/local/apache2/bin (listed asa requirement in one of the documentation PDFs)
5. This is a Lion 10.7.3 with Xcode 4.2.1 currently installed
The error listed above is only a warning. Apache starts and still servers html files. I am a bit stumped and have no experience with Tomcat. Any help in finding a solution to this problem will be appreciated.

Setting the max_packet_size seemed to start the 1st time CF10 admin process, just like it did with CF9 the 1st time we access the administrator. Then, it just went to a blank white screen.
mod_jk.log reports:
[error] ajp_process_callback::jk_ajp_common.c (1825): Unknow ajp protocol code: 0F
[error] ajp_process_callback::jk_ajp_common.c (2426): (cfusion) connecting to tomcat failed
Now: here is something interesting:
Look at the end of the URL when it 1st attempts to access administrator: It is index.cfm?configServer=true or index.cfm?serverConfig=true
By removing this it allows me to simply click on the "continue" option and low and behold the CF admin comes up.
I also have an issue with topnav.cfm reporting a 400 (Bad Request)
Quiting the browser and comming back to CF Admin displays the login page but after enter username and password I land on index.cfm and it goes no further.
Refreshing the page starts to rope in various admin componets.
Also, it will not process any simple cfm template reporting an internal server error.
Hopefully this has to do with this being a beta. -

We are using classic scenario. Our client is reorganizing their Org structure for that we need to do client copy with only configuration data.
In this scenario we are uploading the master and transactional data through ALE in order to retain the same number ranges and the same data in EBP system.
My doubt is when we do config steps Define logical system and assign the logical system to the client and define Idoc message types etc... Is it necessary to run BBP_LOCATIONS_GET_ALL job. If yes the same data like Plant and storage location and all master data will override the existing data or not. And what about the open Purchase orders and open goods receipts.
Can you please reply immediately. It is very urgent.

Policy Based Routing with VPN Client configuration
Hi to all,
We have a Cisco 2800 router in our company that also serves as a VPN server. We use the VPN Client to connect to our corporate network (pls don't laugh, I know that it is very obsolete but I haven't had the time lately to switch to SSL VPN).
The router has two WAN connections. One is the primary wan ("slow wan" link with slower upload 10D/1U mbps) and it is used for the corporate workstations used by the emploees. The other is our backup link. It has higher upload speed - 11D/11U mbps, (fast wan), and thus we also use the high upload link for our webserver (I have done this using PBR just for the http traffic from the webserver). For numerous other reasions we can not use the `fast wan` connection as our primary connection and it is used anly as a failover in case the primary link fails.
The `fast wan` also has a static IP address and we use this static IP for the VPN Client configuration.
Now the thing is that because of the failover, when we connect from the outside using the VPN Client, the traffic comes from the`fast wan` interface, but exits from the `slow wan` interface. And because the `slow wan` has only 1mbps upload the vpn connection is slow.
Is there any way for us to redirect the vpn traffic to always use the `fast wan` interface and to take advantage of the 11mbps upload speed of that connection?

a. Open the Windows registry editor (regedit.exe)
b. Go the location HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\App Paths\excel.exe
c. Here, you’ll see a string value named “useURL”
d. Rename this value to something else. For example “useURLx”
Note: You might have to restart the machine to apply the registry change to take effect. -
Issue with client configuration for CuciLync 9.2.5

we are currently preparing the client configuration for CuciLync 9.2.5.
When CuciLync starts we don't want to see the CuciLync window in the foreground.
Therefore we use the 'hubvisible' setting.

At first it looks like that the setting works fine.
But CuciLync always resets 'hubvisible' to 'true'.
Any idea what needs to be done to ensure that the setting is not overwritten ?

Hello everyone,
Does anyone have documentation for correctly setting up an Apache web server for steaming Zenworks Virtual Applications? The basic idea of putting the content off the root is straightforward but the other instructions seem to be geared specifically to IIS which we don't use.
Anyone have a few minutes to give a brief setup example for someone who is just dangerous with Apache?
