TLS Monitoring Incoming

The TLS alerts mechanism under the "destination controls setting" works great, but i need the same for incoming connections.
I wish to be informed about any failed TLS-connection with partner X.
Is there a solution?
I tried several filters, but without success.
e.g.
GUI
Order Condition Rule Delete
1
Other Header
header("from") != "TLSv1"
Notify
notify ("[email protected]")
any ideas?

Hello,
there is no alert functionality for incoming messages where TLS is required. This is basically because of the sender being in charge to enable TLS when they cannot establish a connection to you. A filter would not work because the message never enters the appliance. Or do you try to archive this with messages that have fall back to plain text (TLS preffered) when TLS could not be established?

  • Monitoring incoming SOAP messages

    Dear all,
I configured a SOAP scenario and provided the customer the URL, but the messages did not arrived our PI System.
After an analysis I think I configured the CC wrong. I set the adapter engine to Central AE instead of our AAE that is
also used in the Web Service URL.
But even after changing it, the message does not arrive the system.
How can I check if the message perhaps arrive the PI but did not pass caused but (probably) a wrong configuration?
Now after changing it to AAE, will it be displayed in DefaultTrace in NWA? I couldn't found there anything.

    Hi,
Try XPI inspector to monitor incoming SOAP message. You will get exact error if any.

  • Batch Monitor - incoming network connection

When I run Compressor i get the "Do you want the application "Batch Monitor.app" to accept incoming network connection. Whilst this is a common popup for lots of apps the problem with this one is that it only flicks onto the screen for about 3/25's of a second and then disappears only to keep on popping up in this manner.
It's very annoying. Does anyone know how to deal with this ?
In order to identify this I had to film the screen and then work my way through the footage frame by frame to isolate it.

Hardly that absurd. Compressor, for example, is designed to network with other instances across the network to distribute render processing...
If you're distributing an Export via Compressor from FCP, FCP is started on the networked computers to do local rendering...

  • IHow to monitor Incomming and put going Mail Trafic..?

    Dear all,
I am using (Sun Java(tm) System Messaging Server version 6.30.15).
I want to monitor All the in-coming mails and out-going mails.
Basically, i want to get an idea about , how many mails we are getting per day....etc... How many mails send via this mail server etc.
This statistic want to our management...
Is there any method or tool available for this monitoring.
    Thanks.

If you add the "logging" option to the relevant channels in imta.cnf (or put it on the defaults line), you can use the imslog.pl script in the /examples/unsupported directory.

  • Possible to check total incoming/outgoing size per domain?

    Hello :),
Is it possible to see the top incoming or outgoing emails by total size?
The intention is to determine which domain or emails may be eating the network bandwidth.
Also, is there a Report to check the Incoming email graph/statistics a listener or specific domain receives? I tried Monitor > Incoming Mail, with the domain options but it does not show them. As we have several clients in the same Appliance we need a Report for the email that only client1.com or client2.com received.
    Thank you in advance.
    Hugo

My unoffical answer is using Mail Flow Central in the unoffical way.
    login the MFC mysql
    select rcpt_domain,sum(message_size) as total_size from recipients r, messages m
    where r.sid = m.sid
    and r.mid = m.mid
    and timestamp > unix_timestamp(date_sub(now(), interval 1 day))
group by rcpt_domain order by total_size desc limit 0,20
This will give the top 20 total message size processed by receipent domains of last 1 day.
This executes just forever if you want more days or add the transfer_id as a condition..(i left it out delibrately).
    There are alternatives,
    1.
In my experience, your incoming total size statistics can, alternatively, be generated by your ultimate message store server (sendmail/postfix/exchange).
Your outoging total size is a little difficult if not using the above tweaked method.
    2.
scp the mail_logs out regularly, look for "MID XXXXXX ready YYYY bytes for "
    Do some mining scripts.

  • Monitor bandwidth utilization for Hyper-V's Virtual Machines

    Hi,
I'm wondering, if SCOM is capable to monitor incoming & outgoing traffic (current and total over time) of VMs in Hyper-V?
Tried to search about it, and found only 3rd party tools or the monitoring is only available for Router, not VMs.
    Thanks.

    Hi Andre,
Also you can use performance monitor to monitor the VM's bandwidth through counter "Bytes Received/sec" and "Bytes Sent/sec" under Hyper-v virtual network adapter :

  • Help me with incoming mail report

    Hello All,
I am new with cisco ironport. I was asked to provide a report on Incoming mail count over a period of time from a particular sender.
Could someone please help on how can i prepare such report. (if possible some more details like if any email was blocked, etc)
    Model: C370
    Operating System: 8.0.1-023
I'd be very thankful for any help in this regards.
    - Mohit Pathak

I don't have my device infront of me to double check but i remember it should be something in the GUI > Monitor > Incoming Mail Summary
Here you can pull some reporting information for hour, day, week, month etc.
Else, you can organised scheduled reporting for incoming mail summary
This will show how many connections/messages were entered, filtered, dropped due to SBRS, dropped due to spam, virus or content filters and how many ended up clean

  • Adding sender BCC to monitor outgoing email

    Hello,
I was able to set up monitoring incoming mail with sender_bcc and that seems to work when mail is incoming and BCC's to a 3rd party to check the mail.
Now for the person sending an email to a person outside the organisation. Need to do that because the company has been made aware that emails have been sent out to the opposition.
    Thanks.
    Michael

If you've setup sender_bcc rules in postfix then you already have what you need - just add the internal address to the sender_bcc configuration and you're done.
sender_bcc doesn't differentiate between 'internal' and 'external' addresses - if the sender of the message is in the list, it copies the message. The 'sender' could be a local user, or a remote user. It doesn't matter.

  • Monitoring calls to ICF

    Hi
Is there a place wherein we can monitor incoming calls to a Webservice exposed thru SOAP runtime on a WAS 640 box ? If so, could anybody out there provide the trasactioncode ?

    Hi Karthik,
We had a similar scenario, but what we did was slightly different from what you did.
We had an RFC in the R/3.
We had a interfaces defined for outbound and inbound (These interfaces are basically the RFC FM's Signature) and mapped element to element.
We have configured a SOAP to RFC scenario and generated a WSDL for the interface.
This wsdl can be consumed from xternal applications.
Using this approach we can moni the messages in SXMB_MONI of XI.
Revert if I misunderstood your question.

  • Servlet filter like functionality in WLS 5.1

We have a requirement to be able to:
              1) monitor incoming servlet requests and do processing dependant on the
parameter values in the http request
              2) monitor outgoing servlet responses and when we certain strings redirect
              to another web page
In 6.1, we would simply use servlet filters.
However, we are on 5.1 and this requirement cannot force the upgrade.
So, I was wondering if there is any way on 5.1 to do this sort of thing. We
have control over our WLS environment, we cannot change the URLs the users
use and also the servlets the users are attempting to access are a
third-parties so we cannot change their source code.
Any ideas/pointers would be gratefully received.
              Cheers

Yes, I did. Instead of a graph, I got this error message:

Have you tried going onto the GUI interface and going to "Monitor > Incoming Mail", switching the Time range to display a Week and then clicking on the Printable button on the right hand corner.

  • XI message interface type

    Hi ,
I have scenario file-XI-R/3.I am not doing any mapping.
I have created 2 message interface say MOUT of type outbound with message type MT1 and MIB of type Inbound with message type MT2.
In Integration directory by mistake I have put MIB everywhere in sender and Receiever interface. But to my surprise everything worked fine and XI has not given any error message.Accoding to documentation we should use message interface of type outbound inorder to send data to XI.
Does anybody have any idea what could be wrong?
    Thanks.
    Rekha

Are you using proxy on R/3 side ?
If so then direction does matter in this case. Since the proxy interfaces/classes are generated based on your inbound/outbound interfaces.
To generate inbound proxy you should have inbound interface. But looking at the problem description should'nt be problem since you have used inbound interface MIB on as a sender and receiver.
The messages in R/3 are in open staus or XI ?
You can logon to R/3 and use SXMB_MONI to monitor incoming messages. Check the status of messages in R/3 aswell.

    Hi Juraj,
the message size for the "Monitor - Overview" reporting page is not included. Only on the "Monitor - Incoming Mail" you will find the total message size per domain. Maybe you find something here, e.g. spamtowho which might be of help:

  • Punchout Catalog through ECC

    Hi,
We are using Punchout catalogs through ECC sytem, how do i monitor incoming log foe Punchout in ECC 6.0? Normally in SRM if i go to SLG1 i should be able to see all the parameters which are passed from Catalog to SRM system, i cant do the same in ECC, i dont get any log for Punchout Catalog.
Am i looking at a wrong place?
    Please let me know
    thanks

    Hi Ronnie,
unfortunately the option you are looking for is not exists in R/3, only in SRM.
Please keep in mind that calling Catalog from Preq or PO has several limitations. this is one of them.
