I've had it all - after some successful backups. Now I can't make any; error messages ("could not complete because an error has occurred" - thank you very much, Apple, for that most helpful explanation).
Apple turns us all into beta testers! Another product that is shipped long before it's ready due to marketing strategies - and customers are the idiots.

I had a very similar problem a few months ago. I spent several days troubleshooting it. Try disabling TM and see if the Finder stops freezing. You might need to wait two or three days to find out. Then try disconnecting your external disk drives and see what happens after another two or three days. I traced my problem back to a Western Digital external disk drive, so I contacted Western Digital via their web site. The next day, they emailed me directions on how to update the disk drive's firmware. I did the update and the problem went away.

That would indicate an issue with the local network, not internet. This can impact devices differently and will likely be more obvious on a streaming only device.
If you are on wifi try ethernet
Make sure DNS is set to auto (settings - general - network)
Go to istumbler, netstumbler or similar to get a report of the network, look for signal strength and noise.

MY POSSIBLE FIX for Time Machine preparing for ages every hour

Like many others, i have had problems with Time Machines backups - ever since upgrading to 10.5.2. Every hour it would say 'preparing' for ages, and then, when it did finally backup, the data transfer was incredibly slow. Not to mention the amount of cpu usage it was using during the preparing status!
I have no idea if this is a FIX, or if i was just lucky, but Time Machine now works as it should, i.e. it backs-up seamlessly.
Anyway, this is what i did: booted from my Tiger disc (yes, even though i have Leopard) and went into its 'disc utility', from there i selected 'repair permissions'. Once the Tiger disc had completed repairing the permissions, i quit out of it and restarted my MacBook normally, i.e. not from the Tiger disc. When it had finished restarting, i went to disc utility and selected 'repair permissions'.
Ever since, TM has been just perfect. Coincidence? - i honestly do not know.
By the way, i don't know if repairing the permissions from within Leopard did anything or not, but this is the sequence i used. Plus also, it might be good to note that i had repaired permissions many a time, but with no success in fixing TM, but once doing it from the Tiger disc it fixed TM.
I hope it helps someone, because i know just how annoying it was when TM was not working correctly!

I received scom alerts from two win 2k8 r2 servers , hosting exchange 2010 mailbox roles , the alerts came almost in same time from both servers ,
can I ignore those alerts

I didn't put the alert from scom console because they were same as the events ( same source )

also the two servers encountered the issue were mailbox servers and part of same DAG , it worth mention the alert were resolved
by Exchange 2010 Correlation Engine service

VssNullProver stopped after installing Update Rollup 3 for System Center Data Protection Manager 2012 R2

I recently installed Update Rollup 3 for System Center Data Protection Manager 2012 R2.
As part of the update I updated all DPM Agents, including the ones on our Hyper-V Servers (which are part of a cluster). I also rebooted every DPM Protected Servers. After reboot all Hyper-V Servers raise a warning that the VssNullProvider service has stopped.
Backup seems to work properly. I can start the VssNullProvider service manually. But after the next backup the service it is stopped again. Exactly the same issue occurs on our test Hyper-V Cluster. All our Hyper-V Servers run Windows Server 2012 R2 and
we use System Center Virtual Machine Manager 2012 R2.
Something is not ok with Update Rollup 3. Any suggestions?

Time Capsule "preparing" for over 7 hours with no progress? anyone help?

I can see it and access it, yet it just keeps preparing! tried everything, ethernet, wireless, resetting. Had enough of this useless piece of junk, just problem after problem, shame on you Apple.

The Time Capsule does not prepare for anything.. it has nought to do with ethernet or wireless.
It is Time Machine that is preparing.. ie software on your computer.
But the TC and Lion do have marriage issues.. they need the occasional reboot to get back together.
Read Pondini troubleshooting to find the actual cause of the problem.

Install the widget so you know what is going on..
And run verify on the disk..

It is important you follow it as the means used to backup is rather complex.

When I got the error, I realized it had nothing to do with RAM, I believe it was the camera footage I was using because changed the settings on my camcorder to something iMovie didn't like. So I have changed it back and its fine now.

Just upgraded computer to Windows 7. Installed latest version of ITunes. It installed and uploaded all my items in my library.
Connected IPad2 and updated latest version. However whenever it trys to sync my contents either to my IPad, my wifes IPad or my new Iphone4S, it simply comes up with error message. I TUNES has stopped working. Windows is checking for a solution to the problem... Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is found. Urggh, can anyone help

I have removed Bonjour as well.
I've had this happen other times when I've updated iTunes software on other systems too, to the extent that now I'm reluctant to ever Accept when it suggests I do so. But I went ahead this time and sure enough I think I'll have to do a total reinstall.
LOL, I don't think Windows has EVER found a solution to ANY system problem I've had which makes it mildly amusing when it acts like it's helping!

I could find the answer after searching previous posts about this language problem.
Had to change my language in AAM profile and then download PS CS6 again ( english version ).
Then open the actual Photoshop and in preferences > interface you can besides the Dutch also option for English.
restart application and Voila.

Yes, substituting the Omega driver works, but you should take it to an ASP regardless. If you have reinstalled the original software drivers for the Graphics card, and the problem did not go away, at that point it means that the software is ok, and it becomes a hardware problem. The issue is trying to find out exactly why the hardware is acting up. Even if the graphics card works under normal conditions, it is supposed to work always, not when it chooses to. It could be starting to malfunction, or completely malfunctioned, I can not tell you which it is. Omega driver might result the problem because it does not use the graphics card to its full potential. If you are under warranty and replace it, then it will work normally, like it did to begin with. I dont want to come across as rude, am just pointing out that the graphics card should work with the original graphics driver supplied by toshiba. If it does not then I suggest getting the faulty part replaced so that it does.

Restore from iphone4 itunes backup stops after upgrade to ios6. does it have to do with my computer settings as it starts hanging and cannot connect to the internet anymore either till I restart.

I have the latest version of iTunes and the iOS6 installed on my iPhone4. The restore from my iTunes backup stops at the end of the recovery process though. Do I need to change anything in my computer settings to let it totally finish?

Time Machine Preparing for ages

I know this has come up a lot, but there seem to be so many possibilities, I thought I'd post some data from Time Machine Buddy.
Basically it had all been working great, but seems to have gone AWOL recently. Its still saying preparing just now in my latest attempt. (To be fair, hasn't been that long), but I'd been getting some error messages about not being able to mount etc.
And that appears in the TMB report so far :

Hi, this is the error I received when after trying to install the update through the update manager. Has anyone seen this error? How do I now get Photoshop to 13.1?

could you please share me updater logs on my email, placed at "\Documents and Settings\<user>\Local Settings\Application Data\Adobe\AAMUpdater\1.0\" for win and
for mac these are placed at "~/ Library/Application Support/Adobe/AAMUpdater/1..0".
As a workaround ,you can reinstall PS and try applying updates again.
