Hi,Nicolas
Before I booted up the app server ,I set the environment variable PS_CFG_HOME to /appfs/people/opt/PS/PS_CFG_HOME,and the above error occured,but when I unset the PS_CFG_HOME,it booted up successfully.But another error occured when booted up :
exec PSMONITORSRV -o ./LOGS/stdout -e ./LOGS/stderr -A -- -ID 232457 -D TESTSERV -S PSMONITORSRV : Failed.
tmboot: CMDTUX_CAT:827: ERROR: Fatal error encountered; initiating user error handler
exec tmshutdown -qy
I checked the pemission to boot up app server :
SQL> SELECT CLASSID, STARTAPPSERVER FROM PSCLASSDEFN WHERE CLASSID IN (SELECT OPRCLASS FROM PSOPRCLS WHERE OPRID='PS');
CLASSID STARTAPPSERVER
PSAPPS 1
EOEN9000 1
EOCO9000 1
PTPT1100 1
PTPT1200 1
PTPT1300 1
and update:
SQL> UPDATE PSCLASSDEFN SET STARTAPPSERVER=1 WHERE CLASSID='PSAPPS';
1 row updated.
SQL> UPDATE PSCLASSDEFN SET STARTAPPSERVER=1 WHERE
CLASSID='EOEN9000';
1 row updated.
SQL> UPDATE PSCLASSDEFN SET STARTAPPSERVER=1 WHERE
CLASSID='EOCO9000';
1 row updated.
SQL> UPDATE PSCLASSDEFN SET STARTAPPSERVER=1 WHERE CLASSID='PTPT1100';
1 row updated.
SQL> UPDATE PSCLASSDEFN SET STARTAPPSERVER=1 WHERE CLASSID='PTPT1200';
1 row updated.
SQL> UPDATE PSCLASSDEFN SET STARTAPPSERVER=1 WHERE CLASSID='PTPT1300';
1 row updated.
After doing these,it booted up with the error:
exec PSRENSRV -o ./LOGS/stdout -e ./LOGS/stderr -A -- -D TESTSERV -S PSRENSRV :
Failed.
tmboot: CMDTUX_CAT:827: ERROR: Fatal error encountered; initiating user error handler
Then I configured the REN server :
Values for config section - PSRENSRV
log_severity_level=Warning
io_buffer_size=8192
default_http_port=7180
default_https_port=7143
default_auth_token=<my hostname>
Boot up app server again :

It seems OK,But when I tested the 3-tier connection :
It prompted: Could not connect to appliaction server HCMAPP.possible causes are:the server name/IP address and port for the application server alias are incorrect....
Contect your system administrator to check the Tuxedo log for more information
But I can sign on the database using Application Designer,and app server already booted up.
Additional ,the Tuxedo and Weblogic were installed within different directorys,does it matter?
Do you need more configuration info?
Thanks for you to reply my questions ~

Error occured while obtaining stored procedure
Hi,
I'm trying to configure a Database adapter to call a stored procedure. When I try to select the procedures in a package I get an error saying:
"Error occurred while obtaining the stored procedure, Please verify the Database connection"
The database connection is fine. I can select other stnad alone procedures and it works fine but I get the above error only when trying to select the procedures in a package.
Any help is appreciated.
ThanksYes, this is happening when I use the wizard to Browse. I see all the packages but when I click on the package to expand it, I do not see the procedures in the package and I get the error message. And as you said the procedures are on 10g and Olite is for dehydration.
Any ideas as to why I get this error. When I create standalone procedures or functions I can select those and create the adapter. Its only with packages.
Thanks -

WDSclient: an Error Occurred while obtaining an IP from DHCP server
My WDS has been working for a month now. A few days ago, My WDS service just stop working. I tried everything to get back up an running. Nothing worked. I removed the role and re-add it. It worked for a few more days and then the service just stop working
again. Tried everything again to try to fix it, But nothing worked. Removed the role again and re-add it. Now when I boot up into PXE and select my Boot option, I am getting an error "WDSclient an Error occurred while obtaining an ip address from the
dhcp". Plug my laptop into the port and was able to get an IP address. Some of the forums say it's a driver issue. The driver where working just fine before. I did make a new driver package to see if that would work. Nothing. I did try this http://www.broexperts.com/2014/12/solution-dhcp-error-in-wds-server-2008-r2/,
Didn't work.
I am on Server 2012 R2 and SCCM is on the same server (I don't know if that has anything to do with it. The PXE has been disabled on it)Hi matkat1,
Some folk meet your similar case when then use NIC driver from DELL, you can try to update the BISO then monitor this issue again, if it not work please removed the Switch and
monitor whether it able to deploy the image.
ON the DHCP server, please check to ensure that there is an operational DHCP server network segment and if your DHCP server on your WDS server please reauthorized with the DHCP.
Please also check whether the event 4101 occurred and indicate the TFTP download failed.

AN ERROR OCCURRED WHILE OBTAINING DATABASE SCHEMAS sqlserver stored proc
I have used the documented Oracle procedures for building the necessary wsdl and xsd files for a sql server 2000 and 2005 stored proc. The wsdl files and xsd are generated and incorporated per the tech doc. The process was working for a while and now, when we try to access the dbadapter partner link created using the wsd, we get the following error:
"AN ERROR OCCURRED WHILE OBTAINING DATABASE SCHEMAS. VERIFY THAT THE DATABASE CONNECTION IS VALID AND IS SUPPORTED."
We have tried getting this corrected by using each of the specified jar libraries as part of the project:
sqljdbc.jar
msutil.jar
msbase.jar
mssqlserver.jar
Still, no solution.
Anybody have this happen? Fixes? Help......If you used a command-line utility to generate your WSDL and XSD that would indicate that your JDev version does not support SQL Server so you can't use the Adapter Configuration Wizard to create partner links that execute stored procedures on SQL Server. Creating the initial partner link using the generated WSDL and XSD file will work fine, but if you try to edit that partner link in JDev it won't work if your JDev doesn't support SQL Server. You'll have to regenerate the WSDL and XSD as needed and recreate the partner link.

An error occurred while preparing the installation. Try running the application again
I Have erased the hard drive of my MBP in order to perform a clean reinstall of OS X Mavericks, according to these instructions.
When I tried to reinstall, my internet connection stopped (was broadcasting via another MBP and the cable from that one got disconnected), so I restarted the erased MBP to try again. Holding command+R, it booted in internet recovery (as the recovery partition was erased along with the rest of the hard drive), but could not connect over the broadcasted WiFi, so I created a bootable USB flash drive according to these instructions on the other MBP.
This installation went smooth without any hiccups, but due to an oversight I had to do it again the next day.
I took the same steps, with the same bootable drive (I did not create a new one the first time) but this time I couldn’t get through the prepare to install phase. At the end, where the “about a second remaining” message stays for about 20 minutes, I get the “An error occurred while preparing the installation. Try running the application again” message. When I quit the installer (only option at that stage) and return to Disk Utility, the internal drive on which I tried to do the installation is not visible anymore.
I tried this (after a reboot every time) with a new bootable usb drive with the same download of the OS X Mavericks installer and with a new one, each ending with the same error. The installer was downloaded on an MBP on which Mavericks is also installed, with the same Apple ID. The App Store did not allow me to change Apple ID for the Mavericks download. Can this pose a problem? It did work the first time, though.
Note that this error occurs at a different stage than the one with the same message due to the wrong date (this discussion amongst others). I also checked the date in terminal and this appears to be correct, when I consider the timezone.
Here are a few lines from the installer log (omitted similar lines and lines that could contain personal information). The most important line is the last one, indicating the error.

Jun 22 02:45:55 localhost Install OS X Mavericks[423]: Got error in writing to /Volumes/schijf/OS X Install Data/minstallconfig.xml
That last line indicates the error that occurred. (The internal drive on which I try to install Mavericks is called “schijf”, it also already has been called Macintosh HD, with no effect. This time I tried another name during the reformat to see if and when the installer renames the disk. Does it do this, or should I call the disk “Macintosh HD” myself?)
By now I also got past the internet recovery issues, being able to get the progress bar under the spinning globe and the option to install Lion (not Mavericks, but I suppose that’s because the MBP shipped with Lion). When I choose this option, the installer first spends a few hours downloading additional components. This eventually took less time than first indicated, but still about 4-5 hours. After this, the installation of about 24 minutes starts, but this takes much longer than the indicated 24 minutes, each minute taking about 15 minutes. When it was less than a minute, the internet connection got disconnected (but I don’t suppose it still needed an internet connection at this stage, having downloaded all additional components) and now the “Less than a minute” message has been there the whole night (about 9,5 hours), the last 9 hours with a spinning beachball on the screen after I accidentally clicked somewhere on the screen (nowhere in particular, he shouldn’t do something because of the click. After unplugging the power adapter, the battery icon on the screen wasn’t updated, and the WiFi icon simply disappeared, instead of showing no bars like it should when there’s no connection).
Does Anyone know how I can fix the error, because I would prefer installing with a bootable drive. Is it worth it to continue waiting on the current, apparently stuck Lion installer to finish or should I force a reboot?
Can I try using the Recovery Disk assistant (OS X Recovery Disk Assistant v1.0) to create a recovery disk with the other MBP? I think not, as this might cause trouble with 2 different MBP's using the same license.
Thanks in advance!Since this thread seems to be gaining more speed than the other one i'm working on, i figured i'd add these images to help you all out detailing the exact problem.
I'm having the same issue and I wanted to provide some info specific to my mac, and some info in general to help with diganosis.
First, my specs
Secondly, I am running an aftermarket 500 GB drive.
Third, not sure if this is realated, but this screen suggests the proress will take 3 minutes, then it abruptly umps to the restart phase after about 1.5 - 2.5 minutes.
And finally, here is the seeminly unavoidable error message.
Also, other things I've tried now are
installing it from the "show package contents area",
mounting said DMG and trying to install from there.
installing a package file called "upgradeos.pkg"
no luck. -
System Error 998 While loading the Labview Run-Time Engine
Hello.
I have a DLL made with LV 7.1 I run the dll using a C compiler and works great in WINXP, but cannot run in Win2K. Error is:
"System error 998 while loading the Labview Run-Time Engin(c:\program
files\National Instruments\Shared\Labview Run-Time\7.1\\lvrt.dll)
READVOLTAGE requires a version 7.1 (or compatible) Labview Runtime
Engine. Please contact the vendor of READVOLTAGE to correct this
problem"
READVOLTAGE is my function inside the dll. The runtime is already
installed. I tried it in another WINXP running machine and works fine.This is actually a Microsoft bug with statically loaded DLLs. There are a couple of workarounds for it, and I have included two links below to posts that address this issue:

Azure Sql DB Export to Storage Container fails with "An error occurred while sending the request"
I've built a new VM from which I'm running PowerShell scripts to backup my databases. It had worked before on an old server for several months, and worked once on the new server, then I upgraded my Azure PowerShell cmdlets, and haven't been able to
get it to work again. The new version is 0.8.10.1.
Below is my source code, with sensitive stuff replaced with ?'s. When I display the $stctx and $dbctx, they seem to have reasonable values. I added the IP address of the server as an exception to the db firewall, and I've installed SQL Server
Mangement Studio and verified that I can connect to the database. I have a feeling there's something simple I've overlooked.
Here's are both error messages:

Mentioned script, with appropriate values, works on my system.
I'm able to export an Azure SQL database to blob storage. Am using version 0.8.10.1 of cmdlets, so this the same version mentioned in this problem description.
Can you please try using Add-AzureAccount and check if that helps. This is indicated in a different third-party blog.

Does it work from a different machine with newly downloaded credentials.
Does it work for a newly created database (so minimal database size).
If above do not work, we may require additional details like RequestID, StorageAccountName, ServerName so an MS ticket may be more appropriate.

I have tried all the resets, the firmware is the latest version, the green light is on.
But I get this message "Unable to complete backup. An error occurred while creating the backup folder."
Any ideas?Do setup again.. but make sure both your wireless and your ethernet have ipv6 turned on to local link.
Done this OK, but no idea about IPv6 - something new to me and rather Appley I think?
Unplug the WAN for the moment.. Just LAN port TC to the MBPr ethernet via thunderbolt.. (thunderbird was the kids puppet series.. Thunderbirds are go!!). Done - New real people Thunderbirds movie coming out soon I believe!!!
Reset the TC again.. sorry.. !! You're welcome ... done.
Make sure the ethernet now has an IP address.. 10.0.1.2 - Yep - done that - on ethernet anyway ...
You need to open the network preferences to find out. Yep - that's good ...
****** I then reconnect the TC WAN to the router - is this right?
And then I think I start going round in circles ... boot, reboot, restart, reboot again ...
The final result is green light on TC, but error message when trying TM is "Backup disk is not available".
Then open the airport utility and you should be able to setup the TC.
Do as little setup as possible and then run the TM backup and see how it goes.
I have managed to get Thunderbird to LAN on TC to create a folder on TC and copy a file onto it.
So I guess the drive is working - it must be the software, settings or perhaps even the operator that isn't quite so clever ...
I named network RFG, named device RFGTC. RFG network shown as IP 192.168.0.72
Wireless router is BT Homehub 3 with IP of 192.168.0.254 - is this issuing new IP addresses when rebooting TC?
I have three wireless networks here - the BT Homehub3 wireless, the TC wireless, and also a D-link power socket ethernet thingy for an ethernet connection to the telly - DHP-W310AV which is also wireless link. All are effectively connected to the BT Homehub - is there a conflict there?
Have several times achieved in Airport Utility schematic with internet shown as green, RFGTC shown as green, light on TC green, but no TM backup run ... "backup disc not available."
And there are no tall building around here to hurl myself off ... at least you can go to Sydney Harbour bridge - not too far away ... it was my son in Sydney that persuaded me to scrap Windows and go Apple ... it's all his fault ... -
I've installed SQL Server 2012 SP1 + SP server 2012 + SSRS and PowerPivot add-in.
I also configured excel services correctly. Everything works fine but the powerview doesn't work!

Please help me to solve this issue. I don't know if uploading the excel workbook is enough or maybe It needed to connect to another data source.
I Appreciate in advance.Hi Ali.y,
Based on the current error message, the error can be related to the
Claims to Windows Token Service (C2WTS) and is an expected error under certain conditions. To verify the issue, please check the aspects below:
1. The C2WTS Windows service and C2WTS SharePoint service are both running.
2. Check the SQL Server Browser service is running on the machine that has the PowerPivot instance of SSAS.
3. Check the domain. You're signing into SharePoint with a user account in some domain (call it Domain A). When Domain A is equal to Domain B which SharePoint server itself is located (they're the same domain), or Domain
A trusts Domain B.
In addition, the error may be caused by Kerberos authentication issue due to missing SPN. In order to make the Kerberos authentication work, you need to configure the Analysis Services to run under a domain account, and register the SPNs for the Analysis
Services server.
To create the SPN for the Analysis Services server that is running under a domain account, run the following commands at a command prompt:
• Setspn.exe -S MSOLAPSvc.3/Fully_Qualified_domainName OLAP_Service_Startup_Account
Note: Fully_Qualified_domainName is a placeholder for the FQDN.
• Setspn.exe -S MSOLAPSvc.3/serverHostName OLAP_Service_Startup_Account
For more information, please see:
How to configure SQL Reporting Services 2012 in SharePoint Server 2010 / 2013 for Kerberos authentication

Hi,
Me and a collegue is administrering our new enterprise BI portal in SharePoint 2013 (On Premise) and have a problem with using a specific Excel file including general ledger data as data source through a BISM file.
This particular BISM file can't be saved without getting the error message "There were errors found while validating the page: Cannot connect to the server or database."
BISM files against other Excel sheets and sources (for example SSAS tabular databases) works well.
Can anyone help us pinpointing whats wrong here, this is a really important stakeholder in our organization requesting this reporting?
Cheers!Hi E.SWARD ,

Experts,
Please help me out here,Am facing this issue while scheduling a job in BIPublisher.
job submission failed : error occurred while scheduling the job. org.quartz.objectalreadyexistsexception: unable to store job with name
Thanks,You are probably installing on a hardened machine.
The "installation guide" says that if you are doing so, you need to create a file named libx11.so.4 and update your LD_LIBRARY_PATH (see http://docs.iplanet.com/docs/manuals/messaging/ims52/ig/unix/overview.htm)but:
1- the library name is libX11.so.4 and
2- for jre a common file is not enough, you need to install SUNWxwplt at least. This will install the library on /usr/openwin/lib.
You can check the results running <server-root>/bin/base/jre/bin/jre
Hope that helps and sorry about my poor english. -

You have the scheduler set up now right? Can you schedule for the future ? Im assuming not but worth asking :)
Are there any other errors in the stack. Upon starting the server does the Quartz piece initialize OK - you'll see it when starting the j2ee container

Hi All,
I am getting error "Sys.WebForms.PageRequestManagerServerErrorException: An unknown error occurred while processing the request on the server. The status code returned from the server was: 500"
in one of my Test Environment when trying to run the SSRS 2012 report from report manager.
Any clue why it is happening.
Thanks Shiven:) If Answer is Helpful, Please VoteHi All,
Upon investigation found that there was no space (0 Byte is available) in E drive where underlying SQL DB is residing.
Once I cleared the space, report started working and above error was not displaying.
Thanks Shiven:) If Answer is Helpful, Please Vote
