TMG always returns blank wpad.dat file on Web Listener

Hello, I have local web server publication on 80 port with redirection to https protocol for local and external clients. And TMG refuses to serve real "/wpad.dat" to clients — instead it serves blank html.
Now I created web publish rule with same Web Listener on 80 port on Internal network that redirects any request with path "/wpad.da*", but while this rule works for "/wpad.dad" and "/wpad.dat?" it doesn't work for "/wpad.dat"!
Why?
I also created simply rule to block access to local "/wpad.dat" url, but it doesn't work either while web listener on next rule is active — TMG still returns blank html.
And when new rules are disabled request to published server for "/wpad.dat" on http protocol returns blank html while it should redirect to https and forward request to real server according to rule configuration. However,
request on https is forwarded to published server.
My configuration requires local web server publication and distribution of wpad.dat file on 80 port, only workaround that i see is to make new server that will redirect requests to wpad.dat file to alternate url.

MSS My staff reporting always returns blank page

Hello,
We are working with ESS(v60.2)/MSS(v60.1) Sap Portals 6.40 with ECC 5.0. We have a problem with the reports of "My staff". We are using the default scenario "RPT0" with the standard reports but when we execute them after choose the selection criteria the result always is a blank page, without any error or result.
Can anyone help us? We have checked all the configuration/customizing...

Are these webdynpro applications or ITS based screens ?
Incase they are webdynpro applications, please check if the ess business package is deployed. You can go to Content Administration -> Webdynpro -> sap.com -> click on the application -> run as preview. Check if you are able to view it there.

Would you mind to implement that when websites attempts to access image data on a canvas, blank image data can be returned?

Issue: privacy (protection)
Additional to cookies and so on, canvas imagedata is used to discover information about computers. Then Tor Browser Bundle (TBB) - Firefox ESR 24.7.0 automatically returns blank image data and shows option to switch it of and else.
Would be nice to have this in Standard Firefox.

Java always returns 15 minutes greater than the current time.

I am using Microsoft Windows Server 2003R2,Standard X64 edition with Service Pack 2 and jdk1.6.0-03.
Java always returns time 15 minutes greater than the current system time.
eg:
SimpleDateFormat simpleDateFormat=new SimpleDateFormat("yyyy-MM-dd HH:mm:ss");
System.out.println("Now time: "+simpleDateFormat.format(new Date()));
System.out.println("Now time: "+new Date());The output of the program is :
Now time: 2008-12-22 18:47:04
Now time: Mon Dec 22 18:47:04 NPT 2008
When my actual system time is 6:32 PM or (18:32)
I have checked the current time with other programming languages like python and it always returns the actual date and time.
Note: To my observation java is always utilizing a time which is 15 minutes greater than the current time even for its log.

I think a more practical time machine would be one that actually travels back in time rather than forward (by 15 minutes). Sounds like it needs some more work.
Anyway, I suggest changing the system time on your computer to some other value (say, 2 hours ahead), then running the program again. If its off by 2 hours and 15 minutes, its getting the time from your computer. However, if its still off by only 15 minutes (from your wristwatch's time), then its getting the time form somehere other than the computer clock.

Tungsten T3 - need to access DAT file with addresses - Please Help

I have an old Palm Tungsten T3. The desktop computer with the synced address data has died and the T3 has lost power (so no addresses anymore).
I have a .DAT file backup with all my addresses. Can anyone advise how I can get access to these.
Reinstalling Palm Desktop 4.1.4e did not help as it doesn't allow me to import .DAT files.
Can I import this file into any other app or open up in Excel etc?
Any advice would be much appreciated.

You have to physically copy the .dat file into the User directory over the existing address.dat file. Find the one with your hotsync name abbreviated (i.e. - C:/Program Files/Palm (or PalmOne)/ your Hotsync name /address) and copy the .dat file there.
Be sure you copy the file and keep another one safe in case something goes wrong. The existing blank address.dat file will be only about 2k in size.

SelectInputMethod() method of InputContext always returning false in JWS

Hi,
I am setting the Locale on a textArea using the api:
TextArea.getInputContext().selectInputMethod(Locale).
This api is always returning false, when run on Java Web Start.
However, it returns the correct value, when run on Java.
Has any one faced such issue?

When I trace the nativePath of the file I am trying to find it shows "C:\Users\User\AppData\Roaming\Arakaron.debug\Local Store". This is the exact path I am following in Explorer. Now, instead of applicationStorageDirectory I can do documentsDirectory and it reads that the file is in fact there. With the applicationStorageDirectory it only registers that the file exists after I copy from the embedded db file.

Lync Phone Edition and wpad.dat - using proxy for firmware updates

Our Lync Phone Edition devices seem determined to use our proxy server for firmware updates, even though the server is directly accessible.
Has anyone else experienced this? Is there a workaround?
The phones are learning of the wpad.dat file via DHCP 252. The wpad file has several rules that should be causing a bypass but none is taking effect. The proxy is dropping the traffic because it doesn't match a rule.

Automated Proxy detection via DNS and wpad.dat

Safari for Windows 4.0.4
Windows XP SP3
How can I have Safari automatically detect Proxy LAN Settings via our in house DNS Server.
1. I have successfully implented wpad options via DHCP which works well with IE.
2. I have successfully created a CNAME DNS record that points our in house web server which hosts wpad.dat which works well with Firefox.
3. How can we make this work for Safari without having to manually configure it. On laptops and mobile devices it can be a real pain having to configure it from Network Proxy to Network Proxy on different networks. I would prefer not to have to type a URL to different wpad.dat files everytime.
Any Suggestions?

How do I send a blank value to a MailMerge data file cell

I have a Client_OLE2 process that loads individual data cells used for mailmerging to a word document. The process loads a cell, moves on to the next cell and loads that with data.
Everything works fine until I try and load a cell with a blank or a null. The process stops dead and issues a 100501 exception.
Is there a work around for trying to load blanks or nulls into data file cells?

SQL Loader - CSV Data file with carraige returns and line fields

I have a CSV data file with occasional carraige returns and line feeds in between, which throws my SQL loader script off. Sql loader, takes the characters following the carraige return as a new record and gives me error. Is there a way I could handle carraige returns and linefeeds in SQL Loader.

Welcome to the Apple Community.
First you should try logging out of your iTunes Store account (settings > iTunes Store > accounts) and then back in again.
If that doesn't help, try resetting the Apple TV (Settings > General > Reset > Reset all settings). You should also try restarting your router.
If both of the above don't help, you should try a restore (Settings > General > Reset > Restore).

Importing data file back into blank PDF - some data fields don't populate

I have created a writable PDF in Adobe LiveCycle 8. Once the form is completed the person filling out the form submits by email. The email is successfully received and the data file is complete (opening it in a browser verifies this). However, when I use try to import the data back into the PDF file (by opening Adobe Pro | blank form | managage form data | import data - only some of the fields are populated. I need this data to repopulate the form so I can print it and I also need to export it to Excel for other purposes. What am I doing wrong?

Check the binding on the fields that don't populate and see that it is set to something other than None.

It's your XML namespace in the root element.
First off, I have never seen the CRS Editor play nice when XML namespaces are involved.
Secondly, with your namespace in place, not even a generic xpath expression tester can find your data. See attachements.
I think that if you find a way to either: not send, or remove the namespace from your document, your xpath expression will work.
