TMS and JAVA problem

I have TMS version 14.5 and Java 8 (update 25)
All of a sudden , when i go to TMS->Conference control Center,
i enter my credentials and then get Error Click for detail
I have tried this in Internet Explorer, Firefox , Chrome->same behaviour
I have added my TMS server to the Security Exception Site List in Java.
I also have installed Java 32 bit and 64bit version .
Any idea how i could resolve this?

No worries Patrick.
Further to my response to the Original Poster - I'd also strongly suggest you empty out your browser and also your Java cache - having an older file in the cache often contributes to these sorts of issues.
Another possible solution could be trying both http and https and seeing if there is a difference.  Also see if you can bypass any proxy or web caching server as these can also interfere.
For what it's worth - I also have two PCs here  with pretty much idential builds (Win8.1 64-bit, Java 8u25 32 and 64 bit installed) - one works fine when using https, and the other I have to use http to get it to work.  And different behaviour/errors on both when it doesn't work.  We can pretty much rule out the TMS server as being the issue as it works both ways on different machines, but on these specific two PCs , there are some unknown differences that are causing issues - we're still investigating these ones, but the majority of our other PCs work fine with no errors reported.  So, if you're having problems on one PC, try another - or try from a RDP session on the TMS server itself to determine where your issue actually is.

  • Safari and Java Problem

    Hi,
    I'm having a problem with the newest updates to Safari. This problem did not occur until late december when I installed several updates via Software Update.
    Problem:
    I use a photo uploader on a website from my company (unfortunately I can't give out the URL, as it is protected). But it is similar to many other photo uploader sites - load a Java applet, drag images files into a Java window, the files are added to a upload list and then uploaded.
    Now, if I drag 10 items into the window, only one or two will be added to the list. If I drag them in one at a time, all the images will be added. Previously it was possible to drag as many as one wanted in.
    Now the really irritating part : During the upload, the Java uploader completely hijacks Safari. The window the uploader allways stays active on top. If I open a new tab or window the uploader window will reappear on top and dominate the action. The only way to get anything done while I am uploading photos is to open another browser like Firefox. Safari is completely occupied with the Java program.
    Computer: MBP 2.16 GHz, 2GB RAM, OSX 10.4.11
    Safari 3.0.4
    Java 5.0 (not sure of the revision, but it is the most recent)
    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    I had similar Java problems with Safari and Firefox. I downloaded Navigator and now can run any Java app I need. One thing that may or may not have had any impact: when installing Nav, it asked if I wanted to import settings from Safari or Firefox. I chose not to import any settings. Works perfectly.

  • Lion 10.7.4 and java problem

    i recently updated to lion 10.7.4 and noticed that Pogo games stopped loading.  (on my PC they work fine.)
    later, used safari to do something that had worked before but now noticed that the graphic that you're
    supposed to be able to read for security authentication was not displaying.
    seems to be that lion 10.7.4 is causing some problem with java.
    oh, i have a macbook pro that is less than a year old.
    is there some way to uninstall 10.7.4 to get back to 10.7.3 ?
    thanks

    You need to install Java on Lion, it doesn't come by default. To do so, open Terminal (Applications > Utilities > Terminal,app) and type
    java -version
    You will get a prompt to install it. After it's installed, go to
    Applications > Utilities > Java Preferences.app
    Click 'General' tab and check the 'Enable' box.

  • Safari plug-in and Java problems

    What is the reason for some websites not working if I have plug-ins enabled in Safari Preferences?
    For example I cannot use Yahoo at all as the "rainbow circle" appears and Safari freezes. After disabling plug-ins I can force load it and it works fine...
    I have upgraded, updated, uninstalled, installed Java/Adobe, but not helped...
    Recently upgraded to Lion, but used to have Snow Leopard and had the same problem...

  • SQL Server and Java problem

    Hi,
    I am having a problem using Java and JDBC talking to a SQL Server database. On a new record or on an existing record the record will not update if someone types into a text field. If they don't type into that field it will insert the record just fine. The field is defined Text with a size of 16 in the database. In Java the variable is defined string. The error is Runtime Error 129, Record Not Updated. Is there a list of the explanations of the error messages and why they might be caused somewhere? Do you think the size of the field is what the problem is? Or is it the field type? Thanks for any help.

    I would try varchar(16). It may be the database is tryin to enforce that all strings be 16 characters and refusing to update if they're not.

  • Amazon and Java problems

    I'm totally updated with my Safari software (2.0.2) and believe I have Java 1.4.2 on my computer (at least I find a settings file for that version as well as a 1.3.1). Just recently on Amazon when I click on an item I get an error message which says "Error Type - Null Value" and things go wrong. Nothing is working correctly after I get that message. I've tried deleting my Safari preferences but that doesn't help.

    More great info, especially the Panther feedback. I will update the summary shortly.
    I outlined the problem and e-mailed Amazon.com. Here's the response I just received. Unless I'm missing something I think it's of no help to us. After I post this I'm rewriting them.
    Thanks for writing us at Amazon.com.
    I am sorry you encountered problems while using our web site. Here
    are some suggestions that usually help:
    1) Try reloading. If the site is taking a long time, or if a page
    loads for a long, long time, click the "Stop" button at the top of
    your browser and then click "Reload" or "Refresh" at the top of your
    browser window.
    2) Clear your cache. Most browsers temporarily store a local copy of
    every page you visit on the web. Clearing your cache deletes all of
    those files and makes room for new ones. Go to the "Cache"
    or "Temporary Internet Files" option on your Web browser (on
    Netscape, go to "Options" and choose "Network Preferences"; if you
    use Internet Explorer, go to "Tools" and choose "Internet Options"),
    and delete the files stored in your cache.
    3) Clear your cookies. The problem may be caused by one of our
    servers, or by corrupted cookie files on your browser. In either
    case, clearing your cookies should solve the problem. For Internet
    Explorer, go to Tools > Internet Options > Delete Cookies. For
    Netscape or Mozilla, go to Edit > Preferences > Privacy & Security >
    Cookies > Cookie Manager > Remove all Cookies. After doing this,
    simply sign in to our web site again, and your items should still be
    in your Shopping Cart.
    4) Try our standard server. If you have trouble accessing the order
    form, or if the order form gives you an error on the final step,
    using the standard server should allow the order to go through. You
    can select the standard server when you enter your e-mail address and
    password after clicking "Proceed to Checkout." When submitting an
    order on the standard server, if we don't already have your credit
    card number on file, it's best to enter just the last five digits of
    the card number and then call us with the complete number after
    placing the order.
    If none of these suggestions solves the problem, please click the
    link below to send us a detailed description of the error and where
    it is occurring. Any information you can provide us may help us solve
    the problem and lessen your frustration in the future. Thanks for
    shopping with Amazon.com.
    Will try to get them to dig deeper than this.

  • SQL Developer 1.1 and Java problems.

    I downloaded and tried to run the sqldeveloper.exe. I am getting a prompt with a browse option to java.exe. I currently have JRE 1.6 installed and somehow SQL Developer didn't like it. So I went and installed JRE 1.5 and it's still complaining that it can't find the SDK.
    Do I really need to install the FULL SDK with compiler and stuff in order to run SQL Developer?
    Gena01

    It requires the JDK for some of the debugging logic. In 1.0, you could get by with just the JRE if you didn't use the debugger, but that may have changed with 1.1. It isn't that big of a download, so you may just want to give it a whirl.

  • El Gamal Algorithm and Java problem

    I was trying to implement the El Gamal algorithm in java, but the problem is with the last part. I'm not getting the value of Message but according to algorithm i should get the value of message. Can anyone please tell me what did i do wrong?
    theory says, msg = x * (z^a)modInverse(p);
    import java.math.BigInteger;
    import java.math.*;
    import java.util.*;
    class ElGamel
         public static void main(String[] args)
              BigInteger p = new BigInteger("7747");
              BigInteger q = new BigInteger("3853");
              BigInteger a = new BigInteger("773");
              BigInteger k = new BigInteger("1193");
              BigInteger msg = new BigInteger("39");
              BigInteger y = new BigInteger("0");
              BigInteger x = new BigInteger("0");
              BigInteger z = new BigInteger("0");
              BigInteger temp = new BigInteger("0");
              BigInteger t2 = new BigInteger("0");
              int t1 = 0;
              y = q.modPow(a,p);
              System.out.println("Y is "+y);
              x = q.modPow(k,p);
              System.out.println("X is "+x);
              t1 = k.intValue();
              z = (msg.multiply(y.pow(t1))).mod(p);
              System.out.println("Z is "+z);
              t1 = a.intValue();
              x = x.pow(t1);
              temp = x.modInverse(p);
              msg = z.multiply(temp);
              System.out.println("Message is "+msg);
    }

  • JSP and Java Beans with Database Problem

    hellow, this is my first posting and i hope to help me as fast as you can...
    my problem is simplly i cant get any data from the database (whatever the database it is, i test it with MS Access and MySQL server) when i use a bean, But if i put my connection statement in the JSP file thair is no problem... ???? !!!!
    for example i have a class "Authentication" that have a method to test if the username and password is correct or not and return 1 if true, 0 if false, -1 if thair are some problem in connecting DB.
    now if i create a normal java application that uses this method, it's work and no problems, BUT if i used a JSP page to use this method it's return allways -1

  • Problem with win2000sp3 and Java web start

    I have JRE and Java web start (1.2.0_01, build b01) which come downloading file j2re-1_4_1_01-windows-i586-i.exe from sun.
    I have win2000pro running on my PC.
    I had updated win2000 to service pack 2 and everything was fine.
    Now i decided to update to service pack 3 (in the process I also updated other components) from Microsoft and:
    1) Java applets seem to be running fine within i.e.
    2) If i try to run an application from java web start my PC freezes and I have to restart it.
    3) Staroffice 6.0, which runs on Java, seems to be fine.
    I reinstalled both sp3 and jre etc, with no result.
    Is this a known problem?
    Thanks to all.
    Maurizio

    I suspect that you have hit a known problem with Swing on Java 1.4.1 with buggy video drivers. Do you have an ATI card? They are the worst offenders. ATI released new drivers for its Radeon line today. They fix the problem.

  • I have been getting java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: ZeroApplet.class and java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: JavaToJS.class crashes with JRE version 1.6.0_26-b03-384-10M3425 VM executing a Java Applet. Is Apple aware of this problem? No longer supported?

    My web page uses a Java Applet to allow my visitors to replay chess games; the Chess Viewer Deluxe applet was written by Nikolai Pilafov some time ago and has been working properly for some time (until recently). I don't monitor this part of my site regularly so I am not sure when it began to fail. On his web site [http://chesstuff.blogspot.com/2008/11/chess-viewer-deluxe.html] he has a link to check LiveConnect object functionality (which fails for OBJECT tags). His recommendation is to "seek platform specific support which might be available from the JRE developers for your platform".
    I have been getting java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: ZeroApplet.class and java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: JavaToJS.class crashes with JRE version 1.6.0_26-b03-384-10M3425 VM executing a Java Applet. Until I checked the LiveConnect object functionality, I was unable to identify the source of the console error messages. This does seem to be the smoking gun.
    Is Apple aware of this problem? Are these classes no longer supported? Has anyone else had this problem? You can attempt to recreate the problem locally by going to my web page: http://donsmallidge.com/DonSmallidgeChess.html
    Thanks in advance for any help you can provide!

    I just went up to check the LiveConnect object functionality page AND IT WORKED THIS TIME! I must confess, this is very mysterious. I will do some more checking and reply here if I can determine why it is working now (and more importantly, why it didn't work before).

  • Any problem if we areon  ABAP SP12 and JAVA SP09 for PI 7.0

    Hi All,
    I was wondering being on different ABAP and Java SP's could cause any problems or compatibility issues in PI 7.0.
    We are on SP12 for ABAP stack, SP09 for JAVA stack.
    We are getting the following error (Red LED: Test Returned an Error) in Self-Test Status for BPE (RTW --> Component Monitoring --> Display --> Business Process Engine):
    Details for 'Schedule Background Job for Packaging'
    Background job for packaging is not required
    Details for 'Schedule Background Job for Reorganization'
    Background job for packaging is not required
    In details it says background is not required and it gives Red LED in test.
    Please let us know if anyone has any idea about the above two issues.
    Thank You,
    Indrasena Janga

    Hi,
    >>BPE (RTW --> Component Monitoring --> Display --> Business Process Engine):
    To my knowledge different patch levels on ABAP and java stack  will not cause this issue.
    More  over there will not  be much  issue  when we use different patch levels on ABAP and java stack

  • Java Audio Metronome | Timing and Speed Problems

    Hi all,
    I’m starting to work on a music/metronome application in Java and I’m running into some problems with the timing and speed.
    For testing purposes I’m trying to play two sine wave tones at the same time at regular intervals, but instead they play in sync for a few beats and then slightly out of sync for a few beats and then back in sync again for a few beats.
    From researching good metronome programming, I found that Thread.sleep() is horrible for timing, so I completely avoided that and went with checking System.nanoTime() to determine when the sounds should play.
    I’m using AudioSystem’s SourceDataLine for my audio player and I’m using a thread for each tone that constantly polls System.nanoTime() in order to determine when the sound should play. I create a new SourceDataLine and delete the previous one each time a sound plays, because the volume fluctuates if I leave the line open and keep playing sounds on the same line. I create the player before polling nanoTime() so that the player is already created and all it has to do is play the sound when it is time.
    In theory this seemed like a good method for getting each sound to play on time, but it’s not working correctly.
    At the moment this is just a simple test in Java, but my goal is to create my app on mobile devices (Android, iOS, Windows Phone, etc)...however my current method isn’t even keeping perfect time on a PC, so I’m worried that certain mobile devices with limited resources will have even more timing problems. I will also be adding more sounds to it to create more complex rhythms, so it needs to be able to handle multiple sounds going simultaneously without sounds lagging.
    Another problem I’m having is that the max tempo is controlled by the length of the tone since the tones don’t overlap each other. I tried adding additional threads so that every tone that played would get its own thread...but that really screwed up the timing, so I took it out. I would like to have a way to overlap the previous sound to allow for much higher tempos.
    I posted this question on StackOverflow where I got one reply and my response back explains why I went this direction instead of preloading a larger buffer (which is what they recommended). In short, I did try the buffer method first, but I want to also update a “beat counter” visual display and there was no way to know when the hardware was actually playing the sounds from the buffer. I mentioned that on StackOverflow and I also asked a couple more questions regarding the buffer method, but I haven’t received any more responses.

    Any help getting these timing and speed issues straightened out would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.
