To 31.0. Now when I open an e-mail and read it, then want to return to the Inbox, I now need to click on the List Tabs
Recently upgraded my four PCs running Win 7 professional from Thunderbird 24.6 to 31.0. Now when I open an e-mail and read it, then want to return to the Inbox, I now need to click on the List Tabs at the top right side of the screen, then click on Inbox it means an extra step and extra Mouse movement. How can I correct that? If not, how do I revert back to my previous version of Thunderbird? George G. (USN-USAF RET) Much obliged for your time and effort.
Do you not close a tab after using it? If you close them, they can't accumulate.
I haven't seen any change in TB3.1 in the way tabs work here.

Choose your version, then your OS (win32 in your case) then your locale (en-us I would think). Finally, when presented with something like ''Thunderbird Setup 24.6.0.exe'', right-click it and choose "save link as", then after it has downloaded, double-click the downloaded file to run it and install Thunderbird.
You don't need to uninstall your newer version. Some add-ons may require help to locate their previous versions, compatible with what you've downloaded and installed; Lightning in particular comes to mind.

I've recently bought a new computer with windows 8.1 and copied all my files across from my old PC, including all my music. I signed up for Skydrive (now Onedrive) and in order to back up my music, I cut and pasted my entire music folder into the Skydrive folder of my PC. All the music has now backed up to the cloud and I've made it available online and offline. Problem is, when I came to open itunes, it couldn't find my music. I've changed the location of my music folder by going to advanced preferences and specifying the itunes media folder in my skydrive folder and still no sign of my music in itunes. I'm in a mess. Please help
Yes, provided all the media is inside the iTunes Media folder, which is in turn inside the main iTunes folder (which is the standard arrangement) you should be able to move the iTunes folder from <User's Music> to any other path and shift-start-Tunes (option-start-iTunes on a Mac) to reconnect to it.
If the media folder has split out to another drive in the past, or media is stored outside of the iTunes Media folder, then things get a bit more complicated. I can go into details should it be necessary.

Is anyone else having problems after updated to iOS 7.1.1. After my update, when I open my music playlist on my iPhone 4S and choose a song to play, my songs begin scrolling by and deleting. I've re-synched a couple of times and am still running into the same thing.

I recently updated Firefox on my desktop and laptop. Before, when i closed Firefox, a window would open and ask me if i wanted to return to the same group of URL location tabs the next time i opened Firefox.
Now it doesn't ask that, so i have to remember which sites i was using each time. The windows that open in Firefox both have an address that starts with file:/// and then the directory on my computer to my "temporary internet files". One window displays in text only the history of the e-mails received from the sender. The second window simply says "loading"
That is a bug on Mac.

OT is correct. I was a little freaked by that message a few days ago... especially after spending time reading people's freak outs about access to data after making the iCloud switch. But since I had a backup copy on two other drives, I went for it because I could see no alternative.

I have no idea what may have caused your MacBook to stop working, but from your description it kind of sounds like it may have started before you ran Software Update and installed the new Apps. Just the general slow feeling and bugginess is what tips me off. You said that you weren't sure if you had closed all open windows, that doesn't matter if the computer restarts itself. It automatically closes all other open applications when restarting.
As to your data being retrievable, if when you take it in they do a fresh install of the OS, then no, it will not be unless you want to pay several thousand dollars to a software retrieval company.
I am glad to hear that you have taken into the Apple Store to get it fixed, and that you have all of your purchased music backed up to your iPod. You should be able to just transfer it all back to iTunes once you get your computer back should it be necessary.
As a side note, the proper place for this topic would probably in the MacBook forums, not iTunes since there is no evidence that iTunes started the issue. -

That issue can be caused by an extension that isn't working properly.
Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

When I open Muse it comes up with a 'new version is available' and when I click on 'install now' it takes me to the adobe muse website where I click on the 'Download' button. It will then come up with 'Muse is downloading now'. It will then take me back to the Muse app again with the same 'install now' message. The new version has not installed, could some one please let me know the reason why it isn't installing.

Error 23, 28, 29: These errors may indicate a hardware issue with your device. Follow the steps in this article. Also attempt to restore while connected with the white USB Dock Connector cable that shipped with your device, on a known good computer and network to isolate this issue to the device. The MAC address being missing or the IMEI being the default value, (00 499901 064000 0), can also confirm a hardware issue. Out-of-date or incorrectly configured security software can also cause these errors.

I just bought a new Mac and migrated my CS6 over. Now when I open it, I'm told I'm running a trial version of Cloud. Why can't I use my CS6 version that I purchased? I don't want to pay for something I've already bought.

I clicked the link and downloaded the update fine.
However, now when Lightroom opens, it is asking whether I want to BUY or have a free 30 day trial and won't progress any further into the app.
My CC icon reveals that my software is up to date but I can't get past this register screen, without selecting BUY or FREE 30 TRIAL .

I just upgraded to FF7 & now when I open it none of my history or cookies are saved. I have checked in options that Firefox will remember my history and all relevant settings but it is not doing it. Is there a problem with FF7?
