To add mailbox

I messed up my phone....
I had 2 gmail accounts and one yahoo account in my phone and was having issues with syncing them. It was suggested to delete the mailbox and add it again so it could start fresh. I did something wrong because now I can not add them back yet the phone still syncs them.
Currently on the main page of my phone it says 27 new in inbox, 30 in others. When I click on it it open the Nokia message email page, however all that is there is sync, settings and help no mailboxes as there should be. I have tried adding mailboxes again for several different accounts and none of them show up.
Any suggestions on how to fix this?
Why does my phone still sync and show the number of messages but I can not view the mailboxes?

Thanks to you all.
Problem is resolved based on Article. It works perfectly with windows server 2012 too.
After correcting Remote Registry Services, I am able to create database copy.
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2478117
Let me fix it myself
Set the service and any dependent services to run under the NT AUTHORITY\LocalService account.
For example, for the Windows Firewall service, follow the steps:
1. Click Start, type "Services.msc” in the Search programs and files
box, and then press ENTER,
2. Locate and double click the Windows Firewall service.
3. Click the Log On tab,
4. In the This account text box, type “NT AUTHORITY\LocalService”,
5. Set both Password fields blank,
6. Click Apply and then OK,
7. Repeat these steps for the Base Filtering Engine service.
8. Restart both services.

I have 2 email accounts Gmail and Bell mail. I can add mailboxes to gmail but when I try the same procedure with Bell mail I don't get an edit button so can't add any mailboxes.

Mailboxes can be added only to IMAP accounts. Is Bell setup as IMPAP or POP?

It usually means that you don't have any SIM card inserted and mobile data or wlan connection available. The email app goes online to download a list of available email services for your country. If it can't go online then it just presents the options you mention.

• How do I add mailboxes to email

I've followed the instructions on the user guide but when I touch the edit button my only choices are delete, move or cance.

If you go to your email account in the Mail app and look at the window where your inbox, trash folder and sent folder are - if there is an Edit button at the top of the window - tap that and then tap Add Mailbox at the bottom.
If the Edit button is not there - you cannot create folders on the iPad. Your email account is not IMAP. Only IMAP email accounts can create folders on the iPad. Any folders that you would already have in an IMAP account would sync to the device as well.

• Fail to add Mailbox server to DAG

I'm Setting up Exchange Server 2013 Mailing system, the schema that i'm deploying includes two CAS servers : 3S-CAS1 and 3S-CAS2 for load balancing access authentication;
and two mailbox servers 3S-MBX1 and 3S-MBX2. A File share server 3S-FW is used as a witness for the DAG . the Exchange Trusted Subsystems AD Group is added as member ofthe File witness local administrators. A computer account EDAG is created on AD and
then disabled as recommended.
my Network configuration is the following :
3S-CAS1 : 172.16.192.7
3S-CAS2 : 172.16.192.8
3S-MBX1: 172.16.192.9 (prod trafic)
10.0.0.1 (replication interface)
3S-MBX2: 172.16.192.10 (prod interface)
10.0.0.2 (replication interface)
EGAG : 172.16.192.20
the issue is when i try to create a DAG (Database Availability Group) i'm getting the following error message
[PS] C:\Windows\system32>New-DatabaseAvailabilityGroup -Name EDAG -WitnessServer 3S-FW -WitnessDirectory c:\shares\fws_dag -DatabaseAvailabilityGroupIpAddresses 172.16.192.20

Error: The network path was not found
After that i'm giving up using witness server since creating a DAG without specifying a witness server would elect one from CAS servers that do not contain the mailbox role.

Hi,
Please check if cluster name object (CNO) setting is correct. Make sure you have pre-staged the CNO object if you are running Windows Server 2012 for the DAG members. When you add the first node to DAG, you should assign Full Control permissions to the CNO.
For more details about this, you can refer to the following article.
Pre-Stage the Cluster Name Object for a Database Availability Group

The seeding operation failed. Error: An error occurred while performing the seed operation. Error: Failed to notify source server 'mbx1.domain.local' about the local truncation point. Hresult: 0xc8000713. Error: Unable to find the file.
when viewing details of the passiv, error message shows:
The database file wasn't found after log replay. The copy will be set to failed
Please help. Thanks

Hi,
Please use the Get-MailboxDatabaseCopyStatus cmdlet to check the health and status of mailbox database copy.
Please dismount and remount the active mailbox database, remove the failed passive database copy and then add it again to check the result.
Besides, please check the application log to see if there is any related events.

• Add Mailbox Role to my First Exchange Server CAS Role

Hello I made a mistake I didn't check the Mailbox Role during the installation so I just installed the 1st Exchange Server 2013 SP1 into my organization with the CAS Server Role… can I add the Mailbox Server Role after doing this? Or do I have to decommission
this server to start a new installation within a Multi role Server (Mailbox/CAS)????
Thanks for the Help

https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb124778(v=exchg.150).aspx
After you install any server roles on a computer running Exchange 2013, you can't use the Exchange 2013 Setup wizard to add any additional server roles to this computer. If you want to add more server roles to a computer, you must either use Add or Remove
Programs from Control Panel or use Setup.exe from a Command Prompt window.

• Cannot add mailbox database copy to DR site - .edb file not getting created

I have a DR site setup that I want copies of 4 of my mailbox databases. 3 of the mailbox databases copied over successfully but the last and largest one which is really not that large 69Gbs keeps failing when i Update the database copy. Seems
to not be creating the .edb file. Is there another way to get the .edb file over to the server, possibly manually copying it then doing and update database copy? I have my backups turned off on all the servers that have the mailbox role on it now
thinking that was causing some issues with the database copy? Any suggestions is appreciated, thanks.
Michael Duhon

Yes manually copy the edb file and paste them in the DR server . Then try to update with for the incremental of database copy. Verify the database is clean shutdown that you are moving to the DR site.

Hi Belinda,
Thanks for the response. I am holding off on using Eseutil or Isinteg for now as I may have finally found the problem.
I was reading another forum yesterday where someone else was getting many of the same errors and everyone responding was telling them the same thing, to check the database as it seemed to have some corruption. Then there was one post at the very bottom where
a guy said he had the same problems but found it was an incompatibility with Exchange 2010 and the Windows Serve Backup Command-line Tools for Server 2008. He removed the Command-line Tools and the problem was resolved. Since we do not use the Windows Serve
Backup, we use Backup Exec, I decided to give it a try. I removed the Command-line Tools and reseeded the database. It has been running since about 12:30 PM yesterday with no errors at all. I'm not claiming victory yet as I stated in my original post that
it has at times run for up to 5 days before failing. I will monitor it for the next week and keep my fingers crossed that the issue has been resolved. I will report back if it fails before then and if not I will consider the issue resolved and post to
the thread.
If this does in fact turn out to be the solution it is just another instance of Microsoft dropping the ball as I was only able to find this mentioned once on their website in a thread about Exchange logs not truncating. I would find it rather annoying their
Server backup software is incompatible with their Mail program and even more annoying that they have not acknowledged the issue. I have been fighting this for months and only found the solution by a stroke of luck. I will update accordingly.
Many thanks,
Gerard

• How do I add a mailbox to my Ipad Comcast account

I'd like to add mailboxes to my Comcast email account that I use on my Ipad. Do I need to go to the Comcast website? Will Ipad pick them up? Is there a way to do it from the ipad?

Comcast does not support IMAP, better way is to use a free http://www.gmail.com account that support IMAP on the iPad;

• Is there any way to add sub-mailboxes to the Inbox in Mac Mail 4.5?

So, back when I was using Mail 3.0, I was able to create new mailboxes/folders within the INBOX of a specific account. When I upgraded my machine, Mail changed to "Locations" with the generic locations "MAILBOXES", and "ON MY MAC", "REMINDERS" as well as locations for any account, say "IMAP" and "EXCHANGE". Currently, I can add a new mailbox, but my only options are to add to "ON MY MAC" (and any subfolders within), "IMAP", and "EXCHANGE". The option of adding mailboxes to anything under the "MAILBOX" tab is not an option.
What I'm wondering is if there is a way to add mailboxes to accounts and have it show up under the MAILBOXES location, rather than under the specific mail account location, as each mail account, ("IMAP", "EXCHANGE") also holds additional folders for Trash, Sent, Drafts, etc. I have about two to three folders per account that I would like to keep stored on the server, and when Mail is handling multiple accounts, using the "locations" for each account takes up a surprising amount of space.
I know that there is a way to get sub-mailboxes for each account in the MAILBOXES location (as I currently have several in an IMAP account), but these were all carried over from Mail 3.0 and any additional mailboxes are delegated to the location "IMAP" rather than MAILBOXES/IMAP/sub-mailbox.
Basically, I'm wondering if I can create mailboxes like this: MAILBOXES/Account/Mailbox rather than ACCOUNT/mailbox
*I realize I asked the question several times, but hopefully the additional wording helps to solve the issue.

There is no way to add anything to the face of a photo in iPhoto at all You will need an extenral editror for that kind of work. You can add text and arrows etc with Preview, already on your Mac or with apps like these:
Seashore (free)
The Gimp (free)
Graphic Coverter ($45 approx)
Acorn ($50 approx)
Pixelmator ($50 approx)
Photoshop Elements ($75 approx)
There are many, many other options. Search on MacUpdate or the App Store.
You can set Photoshop (or any image editor) as an external editor in iPhoto. (Preferences -> General -> Edit Photo: Choose from the Drop Down Menu.) This way, when you double click a pic to edit in iPhoto it will open automatically in Photoshop or your Image Editor, and when you save it it's sent back to iPhoto automatically. This is the only way that edits made in another application will be displayed in iPhoto.

• How do I get an edit box to appear on my "Mailboxes" page so that I can add new mailboxes? I get edit boxes on the specific mailbox pages but not the general page.

My wife has an edit page on her iPad, however, I do not. If there is a setting, I have been unable to find it. When I hit move on an "Inbox" message, my only choices are Trash and Sent.

You can only get the mailboxes within the specific email accounts and only if the accounts are IMAP. Do you both have the same email provider and both have accounts that are setup as IMAP?
If you go to your email account in the Mail app and look at the window where your inbox, trash folder and sent folder are - if there is an Edit button at the top of the window - tap that and then tap Add Mailbox at the bottom.
If the Edit button is not there - you cannot create folders on the iPad. Your email account is not IMAP. Only IMAP email accounts can create folders on the iPad. Any folders that you would already have in an IMAP account would sync to the device as well.

• I want to add a Saved Mailbox, but I do not have an Edit button for Mailboxes? Is there a setting that causes the Edit button to display?

The user manual says to go Mailboxes and click the Edit button to add a Mailbox, but I do not have an Edit button displayed in Mailboxes. Is there a setting for displaying the Edit Button? I have the latest version of iPad (Model MD328LL). Thanks.

If you go to your email account in the Mail app and look at the window where your inbox, trash folder and sent folder are - if there is an Edit button at the top of the window - tap that and then tap Add Mailbox at the bottom.

• Mail not letting me add new mailbox

For some reason I don't understand Mail just recently stopped letting me add mailboxes. When I ctrl-click on an existing mailbox (or use the menu) to add a mailbox under it, it plays a "clonk" sound and that's is. No error message of any kind.
I've been using Mail for years and I do have a lot of nested mailboxes that I use to organize and archive old email going back to 10 years.
Thanks for any suggestion to fix this!

Please follow these directions to delete the Mail "sandbox" folder.
Back up all data.
Quit Mail.
Triple-click the line below to select it:
~/Library/Containers/com.apple.mail
Right-click or control-click the highlighted line and select
Services ▹ Reveal
from the contextual menu.* A Finder window should open with a folder named "com.apple.mail" selected. If it does, move the selected folder — not just its contents — to the Desktop. Leave the Finder window open for now.
Relaunch Mail and test. If the problem is resolved, you'll have to recreate some of your Mail settings. You can then delete the folder you moved and close the Finder window. If you still have the problem, quit Mail again and put the folder back where it was, overwriting the one that may have been created in its place. Post your results.
Caution: If you change any of the contents of the sandbox, but leave the folder itself in place, Mail may crash or not launch at all. Deleting the whole sandbox will cause it to be rebuilt automatically.
*If you don't see the contextual menu item, copy the selected text to the Clipboard (command-C). In the Finder, select
Go ▹ Go to Folder...
from the menu bar, paste into the box that opens (command-V). You won't see what you pasted because a line break is included. Press return.
